What kind of clock do you generally use on your devices?

12 hour eg. 7:00pm
24 hour eg. 19:00

I prefer to use 24 hour, never any confusion of whether it's night or day.

I recall having a conversation with a lady in the USA (work related) and during the call I became aware of the fact she has never even heard of the 24 hour clock hence the totally baffling conversation we were having about meeting dates

I had no idea that they would not use the 24 hour clock

I don't think anybody actually said they got confused, but it does require you to think about converting it rather than just seeing a number.

Most things that I use to tell the time have a 24 hour clock by default so I guess I use that more. I probably prefer 12 hours though because its how you actually think and talk about time, you don't think 'I've got that meeting taking place at fourteen o clock' and you wouldn't say to someone 'I'll meet you at seventeen thirty'

Well when I see 14:00 I automatically think in my head "two o'clock"

Here in Portugal they would say "14 hours" if asked the time though, so they do it in some places!

Yeah 24 is better especially for flight times etc

I still can't remember if 12am is midnight or 12pm. The 24 clock simplifies it.

I mean specifically 12:00 and 00:00. They fall somewhere inbetween am and pm.
