Yesterday she forcefully borrowed money from me, but I have to go to town today and it was my last €10, she didn't even want to go collect her money today and go shopping like she usually does on Wednesday but she had to go today because she owed me money, so she was resentful about that.

Then she was saying she wants to go to her boyfriends house, so we will have to do todays business quickly, but she sat down for 30mins drinking a cappuccino.. While we were sitting there she started patronising me about my relationship even though she is more like a babysitter to her own bf rather than anything else. After that we went to do the shopping with her(she can't do it without me, she says she needs HELP), anyway I had to choose everything myself. Then when I was reading a jar to make sure it was a food she would like she started raging and shouted that she would speed things up and went and got the milk and came back, I still had to choose everything else but I stopped bothering about what she liked. :bored: I just rushed and didn't even look at her, she didn't try to help once, I had to put everything in bags myself.

After we got outside then, after all of the rushing and treating me like rubbish she decided to go get another cappuccino.. :inamood: I am so done with her.

..I don't know Jess..maybe your mum's not very 'domesticated' in that she's a bit clueless on getting the shopping and knowing what to buy and so gets impatient/frustrated because it's not something that she understands, so isn't really that interested in and I'm not defending her or saying that isn't hard for you, of course it is because you want to know that you're buying the right thing and getting the best deals etc and also ask her opinions on some things...and that can take time to look but I guess, she just can't help being the person that she is, any more than any of us can...but you're a different person, you're you and that's pretty cool...and it doesn't matter what anyone else's opinion of your boyfriend is, all that matters is what you think about each other and only you both know how you feel and what your relationship is..:hug:...

He is saving constantly to try get a place for us, it's not really practical to rent and it wouldn't be fair on his parents for me to lodge in their house so I just have to wait until he has a big enough deposit, I try to save as much as I can too and it's really hard, but that money is mostly for me to be able to visit short term rather than moving there. I just wish I could toughen up and stop being so scared of getting a job. We both hate Ireland and he has a steady job so he would never come here.


..you know if you allow yourself to think about that whole thing of getting a job and interviewing/being around people etc and just generally working, then that's going to scare you because that's a huge thing and a huge step and too much for you to be able to deal with in one go but you could do it by just taking a little bit at a time and breaking it all down/slowing down a bit and tackling it in little bits that you're comfortable with and that won't frighten you too much...we can talk about it if you want to...
