We had the dueling Cena chant going on all night. I had 'CENATION' written across my knuckles.

You should absolutely come next year. Worth the trip. We just stayed up passing joints watching Botchamania when it ended.

I'm almost sure a second woman came in at some point too. Probably heard those rumors of a Nash run in I was spreading.

According to WrestlingInc.com, Cena's speech after their match was not part of the plan that Lesnar and Cena had worked out for it. Originally, the match was supposed to end with Cena being battered enough where he would have to be carried from the ring after winning the match, which would allow Lesnar to brag at a later point that he at least won the war despite losing their match in a fluke.

These developments apparently made Lesnar upset enough where he took his frustrations out on officials and the dressing room. Here are more details on the incident from WrestlingInc.com's report:

Lesnar perceived Cena as double crossing him when Cena decided to address the audience, causing Lesnar to then flip out on WWE officials. No word on how Lesnar calmed down, but the angle on Raw featuring Triple H's return was planned in advance as a way to remove Lesnar from WWE television.

Today marks the ten year anniversary of "WWE." On May 5, 2002, Vince McMahon's sports entertainment organization launched a "Get The F Out" marketing campaign and changed all references on its website from "WWF" to "WWE," while switching the URL from WWF.com to WWE.com. The next day, a press release was issued announcing the official name change from World Wrestling Federation Entertainment, Inc. to World Wrestling Entertainment, Inc., or WWE, and the change was publicized later that evening during Raw.

The name change stemmed from an abbreviation dispute with the World Wide Fund for Nature. In 2000, the environmental organization sued the World Wrestling Federation for unfair trade practices, claiming the wrestling company had violated a 1994 agreement regarding international use of the WWF initials. On August 10, 2001, an English court ruled in favor of the World Wide Fund for Nature.

http://www.cinemablend.com/pop/Former-WWE-Star-Chyna-Collapses-Porn-Convention-42681.html

Friends are growing increasingly concerned about former WWE star Chyna after she collapsed multiple times this weekend while in Miami. Triple H’s former girlfriend and manager was in the city to attend the 2012 Exxotica Expo, but the trip went south almost immediately. On Thursday, she reportedly stripped naked along with another woman and jumped into a hotel pool before passing out and later being ejected. Yesterday, she apparently collapsed at the event itself, and today, the same thing allegedly happened in the lobby.

According to TMZ, Chyna was rushed to the hospital after the latest incident and is recovering. Vivid Entertainment, the porn company that sent her there, reportedly tried to get her help yesterday but stopped prodding after she repeatedly said she was fine.

During the late 90s and early 00s, Chyna was a force in the wrestling business. She was a part of the legendary Degeneration X and both wrestled on her own and managed. Unfortunately, her partnership with the WWE spiraled downhill after HHH had an affair with Vince McMahon’s daughter Stephanie. A troubled relationship with professional wrestler X-Pac followed, as did a sex tape featuring the two. The latter pushed her into the world of pornography where she’s been making films for the past few years, including an Avengers spoof she was at the convention to sell.

Chyna has had some personal problems in the past, and her battles with substance abuse have been well-documented. I’m not sure exactly what’s been happening the past few days, but Pop Blend wishes her nothing but the best. Her charisma and physical prowess were well utilized in the WWE. Hopefully, she’s able to parlay that into something productive and lucrative in the future.

http://bleacherreport.com/articles/1189528-wwe-news-sin-caras-return-to-wwe-couldnt-come-at-a-better-time

While many members of the WWE Universe aren’t big fans of Sin Cara and his persistent botching, his return from injury couldn’t have come at a better time for the company.

Did you miss Sin Cara?
Yes, I need more ammo for the next BotchaMania.
No, I want Rey-Rey back.
Submit Vote vote to see results
Especially after watching their RAW ratings fall once again, according to WrestleZone.
Sin Cara is a solid worker that was still learning the WWE style of wrestling when he blew out his knee Nov. 20, 2011 at Survivor Series. The star was getting over well with the younger crowd and was assuming much of the same role Rey Mysterio did with the company.

After surgery and the rehab process, Sin Cara looks to return to the ring and return to relevance just in time to save the slumping product. At least, that’s what the WWE is hoping.

NoDQ.com is reporting about Sin Cara’s return to the ring and plans for the star:

Sin Cara wrestled his first WWE match of 2012 at a WWE Supershow Saturday night in Florence, South Carolina. Sin Cara suffered a knee injury near the end of 2011 and has been out of action since. Rumors of his return had picked up over weeks, but it was not known exactly when the superstar would return from injury. Sin Cara defeated Hunico in the opening match of the house show and is being advertised for WWE's upcoming tour of Mexico next week.

While Sin Cara’s in-ring skills have been inconsistent at times, he is still one of the most athletic workers in the company. The reason the WWE needs him back is not because of his wrestling, though.

It’s because of his international appeal and his connection to children.

Both of those factors make Vince McMahon and the WWE money, which make Sin Cara very valuable to the company. As long as the kids want to wear the mask and make their parents buy the t-shirts, Sin Cara will always have a place in the WWE.

Add in Rey Mysterio’s recent drug suspension, and the WWE is now desperate for what Sin Cara has to offer.

Like it or not, you can expect plenty of dim blue lights and pointing coming our way. Maybe we can even see that hot matchup against Hunico another 100 times

Raw is treading serious water right now. They'll get red hot for awhile again come SummerSlam then it'll be the same tedium until about January. Instead of feeling like a self contained spontaneous universe each week it now feels like 'here is the Orton segment, here is the Brodus segment, here is the Cena bit'.

Impact is better. I said it. It's much, much better right now. It's got solid action, it's tightly produced and it's got star power pissing out of it's stupid little soundstage. And it's got Bully Ray

Vince said WWE will be in a better position next year than it is now. I'm not sure how he is going to pull that off. A million fans decided to uproot and leave in the last year and a half. Stars are not being made. They'll bring up your Miz and your Ziggler to main event a few shows then piss in their eyes when it hasn't instantly drawn money and push them back down the card.

And Impact has Bully Ray, for **** sake.

some random stuff i've stumbled across

Pinning is now not only influenced by damage, but the power of the move that was previously executed.

Three settings - “Quick”, “Normal” and “Epic” - will affect the overall pacing of a fight, independent of AI difficulty. Factors such as momentum, damage, enemy aggressiveness and even kick out and reversal rates will be affected. The difference can be staggering.

In general, main objectives are simple (pin your opponent, grab the title), allowing players to advance the storyline simply by winning matches. However optional side objectives are more meticulous by nature, setting more specific victory conditions - asking players to put an opponent through a table, for example. Those looking to get the most out of WWE ’13 will want to pay attention to all the game asks of them. A wealth of bonus material can be unlocked by completing all side tasks, and there can be several per match. The developers have even included a few ‘hidden’ objectives, opening up further rewards if players decide to pursue a more comprehensive strategy for beating the mode.

Randy Orton is likely to miss the 1,000th edition of Raw, which takes place on July 23rd, and emanates from his home town of St. Louis.

There's always a possibility that WWE could claim Orton was officially suspended earlier than today, which could then clear him for Raw on 7/23, but that would mean the suspension would have to have gone into effect as early as May 22.

WWE is advertising the return of DX, as in Shawn Michaels & HHH, to Raw on 7/23 in St. Louis which is the 1000th episode of the show. WWE has been reaching out to just about everyone trying to get them to appear on the first three-hour show. This will be part of the SummerSlam build so HHH will be appearing regularly on Raw over that period.

If they have any sense they'll get Blackman on the phone.

Just doesn't feel like anything is happening every week, a part from some progression for the main event story. Everything just seems... pointless.

SuperLuchas.net is reporting Randy Orton met with top WWE officials at the company headquarters on Friday regarding his recent suspension.

The meeting reportedly featured Vince McMahon, Triple H and Kevin Dunn.

The report says it was a "hostile" meeting and a further decision of Orton's future is yet to be determined. Several WWE officials are lobbying for Orton to be released because the lucrative contract with WWE, which has him signed until 2019, can't be justified. The feeling is if he is to return to the WWE roster he will likely be in the mid-card yet WWE will still be paying him his high dollar contract.

If Orton gets suspended one more time he gets fired, the belief is this is going to prevent WWE from wanting to put a lot of investment into him in big main event programs.

Vince McMahon is reportedly especially infuriated with Orton over the suspension. The feeling was he had matured over the years and this recent suspension was a big disappointment to those top company officials.

Ryback going against jobbers is a weekly highlight. I love him. He's like a loveable Goldberg.

Absolutely woeful Raw. I'm reading Vince coming back next week as a sort of public apology. He will 'fire things up' etc and kickstart the road to the 1000th Raw. Vince is ace so I can't wait.

Also ...

ALSO ....

Okay ... hold my hands with me, TiBB Wrestling thread :

Former 2 time WWE Champion/2 time WCW Champion, Sycho Sid (AKA Sid Vicious) recently sent out a tweet saying that he was offered to show up at ”a very special show”. With the 1,000th episode of Monday Night RAW next month (July 23rd), it is very possible that this “very special show” Sid was talking about could be the 1,000th episode of RAW. Please keep in mind that this is just a thought and NOTHING is confirmed. Also keep in mind that Sid did not state whether he accepted the offer or not. More info as it comes.

Below is the tweet Sid just sent out.

The McMahon family

Then you chuck in probably J.R., a useless Santino based past-meets-present segment, Big Sid doing a bit of accidental manslaughter on Miz to send Novo into a heel turn ... and bam. You're back in Nitro 97 ratings territory.

Big Show's ability to remain in one character type is all out of joint - he's turned so many times that he can't control it - I bet he turns heel and face randomly during the day, buying his missus a cake then smashing her face into it, giving his kids trophies, then breaking them, getting into a high-speed pursuit with the coppers, then pulling over and giving them all piggyback rides.

His hands are the size of big hands, people!

Imagine getting a Vince McMahon Christmas voicemail.

I bet Nunzio's bonuses used to always mysteriously disappear.

I bet DDP sends cards to wrestlers he has never met and that they have his face on them.

The new WWE title belt :

That is horrible. How is any grown man supposed to look credible wearing that? Or are they just going to keep it on Punk forever? Remember when the WWE title meant more than being just some stupid toy prop they could sell to kiddies? Imagine Lou Thesz walking down to the ring wearing that, imagine Bruno Sanmartino wearing that. IMAGINE IT!!!

CM Punk is killing wrestling.

I remember he was a Smackdown interviewer at one time, he interviewed Mysterio and was technically a face then, but that doesn't count...

On ECW he was apparently a face.... I didnt watch that though :idc:

Thanks for clearing that up though, they need to turn him face ASAP, it's just pointless not having him do something interesting.

No he was a Heel all the way through ECW :joker: although him and Morrison were really popular with the fans

Nah, he was just over with the fans with Morrison. Their promos together were epic.
