She was a great HM, but she had walker written all over her. No doubt she would've walked in the 2nd week had she survived that first eviction. I also thought Craig brought more to the series anyway, especially towards the later stages - so ultimately he was the better choice to stay.

I was actually excited for Aaron when his bio was leaked. And then he came out as a camp Zebra on launch and I was in absolute heaven. Sadly it all went downhill very quickly didn't it? He was your typical whinebag with no other substance and no humour. He then got himself ejected because he sexually harrassed somebody who was clearly not eager to be shagged by him. And as you know I totally don't condone that behaviour in the slightest. You wouldn't see me being caught on camera harrassing blokes. Not at all. Totally unacceptable. And his demise caused for really tedious arguments later in the series on why Helen should have been kicked out again because he got removed for less. Ergo, he really didn't at all. He would have only continued to be in an uncomfortable setting that would have made the situation so much worse. So yeah sorry luv.

I saved Lynne because I wanted Sophie Reade out because she was ****ing useless. But it wasn't to be because she was worth a veto apparently.

Out of the mostly dire cast of BB9, from launch Mikey was my least fave and it remained that way throughout (well he would rise a bit when B Block got awful... god I hate this series) because I knew he would never get nominated and would get sympathy votes for being the blind hero in the house, so thank the lawd for Rachel Rice. I don't really understand where his fans came from either.. like all he did in the house was moan all the time about every single aspect of the house which no one else bar Mario (also ew) cared about and he'd constantly make creepy lude jokes. His vile antics were quite uncomfortable at times, such as washing his genitalia in a public cup in the bathroom, putting Sylvia's knickers on without her consent and starting harrowing conversations about necrophilia. What's the most annoying about this, is because he was blind he got away with all the creepy antics on the inside and outside of the house. Fair enough it's entertaining to watch someone lack social awareness but not when it's making your skin crawl :yuk:.

Then there was the scotch bonnet incident, which is amongst some people's all time fave moments (?!)... well done a blind man ate a hot chili.

I suppose he was slighty redeemed in his anti-Rex/Nicole crusade where he would be one of the few HMs not afraid righteously drag them. I also appreciated his friendship with Lisa towards the end. But for me his last few weeks were not enough to mask the rest of the awful **** he had to put us through, and he really did NOT deserve to make it all the way to the end without merit... but neither did Mo/Darnell.

George entered on launch night as the token posh young male of the series who is usually loved around these parts, however he was destined to flop at all angles. From his VT we learnt that apparently he had some connection to the royal family, and he loves to do all that stereotypical posh stuff like hunting and cherishing the countryside, yawning yet? In the house, he had a close friendship with Grace and the lads and a semi-showmance/will they-won't they with Nikki who he quickly turned on and trashed in his last few days in the house as she didn't stay in his bed one night. He also had an altering lisp and was an *individual* when he stayed in the room with Shahbaz when everyone walked out. Also it was speculated a lot that George was gay due to Nikki's poor hearing skills :joker:

After two weeks in the show, George seemed more and more bored of the place and told the others he wanted to leave, with the excuse that "he didn't want the fame" leaving the plastics in meltdown as they had lost a member. The #lad of BB5, Jason entered the house in an awfully cringe leopard print thong which he was cheered for (I love BBUK sexism) and at this point already it was determined that he would definitely sail through the show as the public love this archetype of HM. Honestly, he may be amongst the most overrated "legends" among the alumni as his purpose in the house was to be a moody aggravator and engage in childish antics with the far inferior group The Jungle Cats. :rolleyes: He also belonged to the archetype of unslayable beasts as he would dodge and dive nominations week after week :joker:

And there was the hideously tedious showmance with Vanessa Nimmo, who I suppose was a perfect fit! He also had a strange relationship with Dan and flirted with him early on which lead to Dan's later vendetta against him which idrc about because Dan's a bore! After his house foes Emma and Michelle returned and then his showmance was evicted he became permanently mouldy and existed in the house as a permanent grump who would not contribute to the house antics (Mikey teas), I suppose his "good looks?" (I don't see it) kept him safe throughout all the misery he brought. And then there was the Nadia feud, which tbf was one of the many iconic rivalries that lasted throughout the show.. thankfully superior Nadz won in the end as Jason would often make harsh remarks at her for no reason (as well as most others around him) however the public kept him in right until the final two, but I'm glad it was him and Nadia as the showdown. I suppose I appreciated what he brought to the house but I cannot get behind him... His role in fightnight was needed as another foe for Nadz and Emma and for there to be proper opposition for the Lip gloss bitches throughout the show although he was just too sour for me to enjoy.

I also could never tell whether he was balding during BB5 or not? :shrug:

Yeah so he was awful and loud we get it k bye, let's have a look at some pros (lol) and cons of Mark Byron:

Pros: not much (he occasionally stood up against Helen I guess, also his eviction interview was glorious)

Cons: everything else (that dreadful Mystic Mock Mark stuff, that dreadful Mistopher (Chrark? idc) stuff, that dreadful voice, that dreadful hair, the fact that he tried to be about thirty different ex-housemates in one, the fact that he found about thirty different ways to pronounce 'Jale', none of them in any way close, the fact that this picture exists:

This lead to a rather hilarious press release on Mark's behalf which both denied Helen's allegations about him and Matthew and confirmed Helen's allegations about him and Matthew at the same time. He's now trying his hardest to get a column in the Daily Star. Bless.

ew. Let it be known that I *SHOULD* be writing about Hazel right now but instead of blaming myself for being too slow I'm going to blame everyone else for distracting me by bringing up **** about the twins :rolleyes:

So yeah, we all know that the first and foremost rule of reality TV is that a generic white male is obligated to win the first season, so enter Craig. I don't feel like he gets enough hate because lbr most people haven't seen BB1 but I REALLY couldn't stand Craig. He had the voice of Conor and the sense of humor (or "Fun-Loving Spirit" :facepalm:) of Jonny Regan and I promise you that it was just as bad as it sounds. Craig was also ridiculously self-serious about tasks even though he was awful at them? Like, he would slander Mel to heck for not being able to juggle or ride a unicycle (alol BB1 tasks <3) even though he had the WORST track record of anyone due to "spontaneous" knee injuries and supposed dyslexia and just general sucking at tasks. It wasn't a good look.

Self-serious really is the best word to describe Craig. He'd always complain about things other people did that he didn't like by being all "well the public will see through it all and take care of things :smug:" He also had a rivalry with much superior HM Caroline because she was the one to vocalize how everyone was sick of Craig sleeping all day and not doing anything to help out around the house. Of course since this is Craig we're dealing with, he took it upon himself to confront Caroline because "he was entitled to" or something and accused her of not pulling her weight and insisted that he in fact pulled his weight because he washed the dishes three or four times. For this record, this took place on Day 21 :shocked:

The peak of Craig's self-righteousness came about with the infamous Nasty Nick confrontation, where Craig had no problem with Nick writing down other people's names until it was HIS name that was written down. He literally had no problem with it until it affected him. Craig's self-entitlement and egomania ****ing EXPLODED and it was wayyyyy too much for me to swallow when he was saying **** like "you have shown various people pieces of paper with names on them... ie MY NAME :rant::rant::rant:" but of course this was THE defining moment of BB1 and Craig was able to ride it out to the win :rolleyes:

Also, I know we wiped our memories clean of the time when Craig wiped his ass on Darren's pillow but ****ing ew???

I'm saving Christopher because I'm still curious as to how the nickname Christmas came about.

Wolfy easily had the making of a BB winner even before she entered the main door. This was someone who was an overweight lesbian fishmonger who talked to nature - the DEFINITION of Channel 5 quirky favourite to wins. The problem was that she knew if she played the game right she would walk the show and easily win.

She had a perfect first week which added to her popularity. Her strong relationship with Sallie was strong and genuine as was her genuinely hilarious meltdown over being called most smelly by Michael (she was also most unique as well).

It started to go wrong for Wolfy when the crowd decided to tell her how popular she was by chanting her name during Sallie's eviction following her smelly meltdown. She had a pointless argument with Charlie over weight and body issues too, saying that 'fat' should be an equivalent to a swear word around her because Charlie was as healthy as anything so she was being offensive or something?

Her true downfall came when she committed the cardinal sin by showing that she knew how popular she was and saying that she was Dexter's biggest competition to win. She also really overreacted over the whole actress accusations that came from Dan which really came off really bad.

So Wolfy was evicted only Week 3 to crippling boos. It is telling that she went over Hazel of all people who was 'nationally' hated at that time and the evictions had to have extra security because of Hazel.

Gonna save Jale because she wasn't all that bad.

Oh dear where do we start with Anton? Anton entered this house and gave himself a label as being a 'huge game player' and he thought the way he played the game would like change BB forever I think. His game plan was so ****ing basic though it was just laughable. He formed himself a little place in the house with the 'wolfpack' -shudders- but basically this just meant him gunning for females all the time and nominating them and being incredibly lude and crude in his comments about women. Like all he did all the time was nominate good female housemates like Heaven, Rebeckah, Faye and Alex every week. Yeah what a good game player you are! Sorry they won't **** you (let's be real that's why he was nominating them)

The fact he always branded himself as a 'villain' also was so laughable. When you think of BB villains names that pop in your head are names like Makosi, Rex, Victor Ebuwa. You know actual legends. I've never seen anyone on this forum once say 'How good of a villain was Anton from BB12.'

I am saving Rebeckah because she was one of the only good housemates of BB12.

So aside from looking like the offspring of Ben Fogle and that thing from the Goonies, Harry's worth as a housemate was very lacking. Obviously there's the childish "let's sabotage the shopping list" moment, which stands out as just about his only contribution to the series, and whilst I admittedly switched off after week two because I had to sod off to freshers' week and university, I cannot for the life of me see a reason why this puddle of urine would be cast in any series, let alone a channel-revamping one? There's also all this talk of wolfpacks and double-crossing and male-dominated groups whenever I look over the chat on here about BB12 that's just totally offputting and to be honest _LucasMichael_ makes a more convincing lad than this specimen did in the glimpses I saw. Not to mention he turned against both factions and supported Tom to win when evicted :umm2:

I save Scott BB4 because it's becoming my new catchphrase.

ew. Let it be known that I *SHOULD* be writing about Hazel right now but instead of blaming myself for being too slow I'm going to blame everyone else for distracting me by bringing up **** about the twins :rolleyes:

So yeah, we all know that the first and foremost rule of reality TV is that a generic white male is obligated to win the first season, so enter Craig. I don't feel like he gets enough hate because lbr most people haven't seen BB1 but I REALLY couldn't stand Craig. He had the voice of Conor and the sense of humor (or "Fun-Loving Spirit" :facepalm:) of Jonny Regan and I promise you that it was just as bad as it sounds. Craig was also ridiculously self-serious about tasks even though he was awful at them? Like, he would slander Mel to heck for not being able to juggle or ride a unicycle (alol BB1 tasks <3) even though he had the WORST track record of anyone due to "spontaneous" knee injuries and supposed dyslexia and just general sucking at tasks. It wasn't a good look.

Self-serious really is the best word to describe Craig. He'd always complain about things other people did that he didn't like by being all "well the public will see through it all and take care of things :smug:" He also had a rivalry with much superior HM Caroline because she was the one to vocalize how everyone was sick of Craig sleeping all day and not doing anything to help out around the house. Of course since this is Craig we're dealing with, he took it upon himself to confront Caroline because "he was entitled to" or something and accused her of not pulling her weight and insisted that he in fact pulled his weight because he washed the dishes three or four times. For this record, this took place on Day 21 :shocked:

The peak of Craig's self-righteousness came about with the infamous Nasty Nick confrontation, where Craig had no problem with Nick writing down other people's names until it was HIS name that was written down. He literally had no problem with it until it affected him. Craig's self-entitlement and egomania ****ing EXPLODED and it was wayyyyy too much for me to swallow when he was saying **** like "you have shown various people pieces of paper with names on them... ie MY NAME :rant::rant::rant:" but of course this was THE defining moment of BB1 and Craig was able to ride it out to the win :rolleyes:

Also, I know we wiped our memories clean of the time when Craig wiped his ass on Darren's pillow but ****ing ew???

I'm saving Christopher because I'm still curious as to how the nickname Christmas came about.

The #lad of BB5, Jason entered the house in an awfully cringe leopard print thong which he was cheered for (I love BBUK sexism) and at this point already it was determined that he would definitely sail through the show as the public love this archetype of HM. Honestly, he may be amongst the most overrated "legends" among the alumni as his purpose in the house was to be a moody aggravator and engage in childish antics with the far inferior group The Jungle Cats. :rolleyes: He also belonged to the archetype of unslayable beasts as he would dodge and dive nominations week after week :joker:

And there was the hideously tedious showmance with Vanessa Nimmo, who I suppose was a perfect fit! He also had a strange relationship with Dan and flirted with him early on which lead to Dan's later vendetta against him which idrc about because Dan's a bore! After his house foes Emma and Michelle returned and then his showmance was evicted he became permanently mouldy and existed in the house as a permanent grump who would not contribute to the house antics (Mikey teas), I suppose his "good looks?" (I don't see it) kept him safe throughout all the misery he brought. And then there was the Nadia feud, which tbf was one of the many iconic rivalries that lasted throughout the show.. thankfully superior Nadz won in the end as Jason would often make harsh remarks at her for no reason (as well as most others around him) however the public kept him in right until the final two, but I'm glad it was him and Nadia as the showdown. I suppose I appreciated what he brought to the house but I cannot get behind him... His role in fightnight was needed as another foe for Nadz and Emma and for there to be proper opposition for the Lip gloss bitches throughout the show although he was just too sour for me to enjoy.

I also could never tell whether he was balding during BB5 or not? :shrug:

So yeah. He was cast and I can't say even to this day the understanding of why. He was simply just another bitchy camp guy who was one dimensional and tedious. He had an argument with Sunshine being all "YOU DON'T KNOW ME" who would ****ing want to? And then he came out as bisexual I think to the goddess of Stockport. Before getting brainfreeze and evicted. It's fitting I get to oust him actually because he was the first person I got to use my pay as you go phone on evicting him and I'm still pay as you go to this day. THOUGHT YOU'D MAKE THE TOP 100 BUT NO.

Like many other people I've eliminated so far, there's this misconception that Dexter was epic and he was a big character and this and that but I don't really believe it! What were Dexter's big moments? What made him such A Good Housemate? What did he actually do with his absurd amount of screen time? I've been asking these questions for two years now and they're still unanswered so the answer to all of them is NOTHING.

Dexter's just yet another audience-manipulating monster like Aaron, John James, Siavash, Darnell, and Ziggy, except he was really bad at it? He wasn't ~eez fit innit~ enough for the audience to forgive every single awful thing he did, none of the other HMs really played into his shtick by giving him sympathy, he was powerless when it came to nominations, his attempts at a showmance failed when Charlie Travers completely denounced him in her eviction interview (<33333), etc. Since Dexter really wasn't effective at all in what he tried to be, it made me like him more than his ancestors I listed above, but that's really not much of an accomplishment at all. He didn't really give us any moments that deviated from his ridiculously one-dimensional gameplan, and I've written plenty of thesis statements about how I feel about playing the HMs vs. playing the public so it shouldn't be a surprise that I was NOT a fan of **** like "...I surely love you Charlie Travers :suave:" and the ****ing ugly crying and OTT "I just cannot believe that the public saved me for the Nth time even though I'm the most conscious of the public and have the most insight as to how people on this godforsaken show vote" nuh uh sis.

I don't even feel like getting into Dexter's time in the house because lbr a lot of it was forgettable white noise but I will say that Callum getting evicted over him REALLY sits wrong with me and I was *NOT* into his annoying prize fund **** when the nominees had to pick out amounts of money in the room or whatever. Like, "I studied every option on there" vs. "oops I didn't realize that there was a £96,000 option" and "I was banking on someone taking £1 and being more selfless than me" vs. *being the second to last person to go and leaving the £1 on the board* like what. And then that ****ing love triangle that shouldn't have existed since Charlie openly rejected all of her suitors how on earth was this a plot point for literal weeks.

I'm going to go out on a limb and say that Dexter ruined BBUK? Like, say what you want about what people's motives used to be on this show but after BB14 there was a huge paradigm shift from "let's put people in a house and watch things organically happen" to "let's openly manipulate the process to reward the people Playing The Game (which is really just code for Wind Up Merchants, which is really just code for unmitigated assholes!) and make things more cutthroat and unenjoyable for everyone involved" and I place a lot of the blame on Dexter! Like, his bull**** contrived persona single-handedly responsible for the abomination known as BBUK15: Power Trip and the casting of said series and we're still feeling the effects of it all since BBUK16: Timebomb just ended and it was even worse. I don't know, I've gone on a few too many rants about how I've lost a lot of faith in this show and how I'm questioning my relationship with it since my morals clearly do not match up with the show's morals anymore, and when I analyze everything further it all comes back to Dexter's manipulated and contrived "personality" or "story arc" or whatever you want to call it.

As a concluding note, I'll make the controversial statement that I'm much happier with a Sam win than a Dexter win! Say what you want about Sam, but his worst crime is only being boring and at the end of the day he's still real and his win is just a typical win you'd expect from C4. On the other hand, I actually would've been offended if the public rewarded Dexter with a win and validated his remarkably poor self-constructed story arc, especially when the true best option for unconventional winner was shafted in third place.

I'm saving Luke Scrase because he is the true underrated gem of BB13 (I wish I could save like half of Daniel's nominees though)

Dan doesn't offend me that much. I don't even dislike him tbh. It was just his self righteousness and how boring he was that got on my last bleeding nerve! I only watched BB5 just over twelve months ago but I can't remember much about Dan even still. He had some weird obsession with Jason and basically went in a super sulk which lasted for the rest of his stay in the house. Everyone lies in their VT Dan get the **** over it! He flirted with Jason and isn't there a rumour that once Jason rimmed him under the covers? I'm not sure but the pair did have a bit of a flirty friendship going on, that was until it was revealed Jason wasn't bi and Dan was cut up </3

He then just coasted his way through the rest of the series. He didn't associate himself with the lip gloss bitches but he didn't associate himself with the jungle cats either he just did nothing and flew under the radar much like equally boring Shell Jubin. He then proceeded to continue to sulk all of his stay in the house and complain that he thought the show would change him if he won and kept saying he didn't want to get to the final and win the money and how he wanted to leave so desperately.

He stayed, over housemates like Ahmed, Michelle and Victor who had contributed a lot to the series and he found himself in the final. He came in third place! People on TIBB often class third place club as some sort of thing that is elite but come to think of it a club containing Dan, Liam, David, Mario and Danny Wisker is pretty much not something to aspire to at times.

For the amount of (rightful) hate that BB16, I feel as if Simon doesn't really get enough? Granted he calmed down by the end of the series and he isn't nearly as bad as Marc or Joel but I still hate his guts and his elimination from this rankdown has been long overdue.

The only thing in the house Simon is known for is his constant repetition of "SHOWBIZZZZZ!!!" which I find more annoying than funny because it's as if he's trying to be a bigger character than he actually is. I find it fake as hell and I'm not here for it. When he got the #Timebomb eviction on the first night and I really thought we had dodged a bullet and had gotten rid of this shrieking buffoon but alas the BB16 producers are idiots and in the horror of #4In4Out we were re-introduced to SHOWBIZ!!! I really found the whole thing to be incredibly short-sighted but I guess that describes BB producers nowadays, they look for immediate reaction rather than letting things develop long-term and it's part of the reason BBUK is the **** show we all know today.

Simon in the house was better than I thought he would be because he was largely irrelevant but he was still awful when he was shown. Such as when he nominated Eileen for being old ("she's has had her life!" :umm2:) despite the fact Simon is roughly the same age. Ugh it just angered me, and it angered me even more when Eileen was tragically evicted (against ****ing Joel of all people) and I held him responsible.
