WWE has announced that RAW superstar R-Truth has been suspended due to a violation of the company's Wellness Policy.

Smackdown opened with Mark Henry on crutches selling the Pillmanizing from Show at Survivor Series. He said he was not cleared to wrestle and was being a role model for the kids by even showing up. Big Show came out to say he only did to Henry what Mark did to him. Mark responded by saying show would not get another title match because he is “the world’s largest athlete and the world’s largest loser.” Show gave him the knockout punch. This brought out Daniel Bryan with his briefcase and a ref. Bryan cashed in Money in the Bank, rolled over Henry and pinned him! NEW WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION!!

But no…this brought out Teddy Long. Because Mark was not cleared to wrestle, the match didn’t count. He took the belt off Bryan and gave it back to Mark. He made it up to Bryan by booking him in a three way with Wade, Orton, and Cody tonight where the winner gets Mark Henry next week on a live Tuesday night Smackdown for the title. (And Bryan gets to keep the briefcase.)

Later tonight: Zack Ryder and Sheamus vs. Dolph Ziggler and Jack Swagger. This graphic did nothing to halt the “We Want Ryder” chants during every match and commercial break.

Beth Phoenix and Natalya beat AJ and Kaitlyn. AJ tapped to the sharpshooter quickly. Kaitlyn was pissed and walked out on her, allowing Beth to call for “cry time” while Natalya put the sharpshooter back on. Alicia Fox, who had been on commentary, broke it up. I guess they’re positioning Fox as the next title challenger.

Zack Ryder was playing the new video game when Sheamus wanted to talk about their match later. Ryder acted wacky and did his catchphrases then looked scared Sheamus was going to kill him but Sheamus just laughed at this goof. Ryder did his “woo woo woo” and Sheamus got all serious but then chuckled again and said “you know it.”

Zack Ryder and Sheamus beat Ziggler and Swagger. Vickie and Dolph promo before the match. Ziggler bragged about going 2-0 on Sunday. The match was long and decent. Zack hit his finisher and got the pin on Ziggler. Way better than Monday.

Mark Henry confronted Teddy Long about allowing Bryan to try to cash in earlier and then making the match next week. Teddy was scared to break it to him that next week will be a cage match.

Ted DiBiasi beat the returning Heath Slater with dreamstreet. Before the match Jinder Mahal called out DiBiasi for turning his back on his family and hanging out with commoners. That’s a story that will set the world on fire.

Cody Rhodes had words for Booker T backstage. He is not happy with Booker making fun of him on commentary during his matches. Evidently this is something that happens.

Daniel Bryan beat Randy Orton, Wade Barrett, and Cody Rhodes in a fatal fourway to earn the shot at Mark Henry in a cage next week. Crowd was hotter for Orton’s intro than Bryan “winning” the title. This made me sad. The crux of the match was Bryan getting beat up with pins being broken by Orton or one of the heels turning on the other. Bryan finally got the pin on Cody while Wade had Orton down outside. Afterwards Cody beat down Bryan until Orton snuck in to give him an RKO.

WWE had been planning for The Miz and R-Truth to win the Tag Team Titles from Evan Bourne and Kofi Kingston after the Survivor Series pay-per-view. A combination of Bourne and Truth failing Wellness tests changed those plans and now, as noted before, The Miz is headed back to the WWE Title picture. It's possible Miz may get his shot at the Royal Rumble pay-per-view.

As reported for the past few weeks, John Morrison is leaving WWE due to his contract expiring this week. Morrison’s contract is expected to expire either this Tuesday or Wednesday after re-signing a short-term deal with the company. If he makes any more appearances, it is expected to be on tomorrow’s live RAW broadcast.

In fact, Brodus Clay — who has been promoted as to returning to the company for nearly a month now — teased attacking Morrison on his Twitter account today. Clay said that he would “destroy” him before the tweet was then deleted shortly afterward. Of course, this is possibly a hint at how the company is likely to going to write Morrison out of the storylines — by having the repackaged Clay returning to the company, attacking Morrison, and effectively writing him off TV.

It should be noted that it’s widely expected that Morrison will be appearing on WWE’s competition, TNA Wrestling, in the coming months and WWE may be looking for a way to weaken him and his character before he likely ultimately appears on the Spike TV promotion. While Vince McMahon often scoffs at the mention of TNA being competition, he isn’t a fan of the stars he “creates” betraying him and appearing on the competition.

Of course, now that this scenario has been leaked online, WWE may not end up going this route if they were going to do so in the first place. WWE creative writers and particularly Vince McMahon are keen on writing up scripts and then changing their minds at the flip of a coin. In fact, Clay has been scripted to return to television for weeks now but never appeared because of constant re-writes and time restraints

WWE's been blinding for months now. Raw was amazing. Did everyone else catch the advert about the upcoming WWE Network? It's going to have a reality show where they shove a load of old wrestlers into a house. That could be the greatest thing ever.
