How about an animal interest story to cheer you up?
A bear gets stuck up a tree. Apparently these rocket scientists thought that the best way to get him down was to shoot him with a tranquiliser dart and let him fall onto a trampoline. (You'd have thought they'd use a bouncy castle or something!)
Anyway click on the link below to watch the video.

Hi ya Boris. Just come back from visiting my mum - always puts OH in a bad mood cos she always has a list of jobs for him to do. And who does he moan at moi :nono::nono::nono:
Just about to sort out my family history info that is my official reason for travelling to Newport next week-end. We all know the real reason and why I shall be taking my camera with me. Nothing like a bit of H and P spotting :blush::elephant::elephant:
Helloooooooooooo, troops!! :wavey: :xyxwave: :wavey:
Sincere apologies for leaving you with the responsibility of guarding this thread for so long . . . . . . firstly I was a bit under the weather, but the antibiotics have done a marvelous job and I'm fighting fit and raring to go now. Secondly the PC threw a major 'sickie' and had to spend some time in the PC Hospital. It's now been returned with a spanking new motherboard and a souped-up processor, so all's well that ends well.

This is SO bad. I know I could virtually go to Newport, but BB is REALLY going. I feel it in my water that a first hand in the delectable flesh, be still my beating heart, bona fide sighting of Mr Clarke is going to happen.
I wouldn't mind, but that BB had already had an 'in the flesh' sighting in WH Smith, and wasted it entirely by not manhandling him into the 'Horror and Science Fiction' section and having her wicked way with him.
I just can't get there and it's so unfair! :bawling::mad::bawling:
BusyBee
08-10-2003, 04:19 PM
Oh ROB will you ever forgive me.
.:bawling:
If I do see the magnificent Mr C on Saturday you can be assured I will not let the opportunity pass me by.:blush:
Knowing my luck they will probably both be ill and not be able to attend. But let us be positive :thumbs:
You will be in my thoughts ROB - and there may be a couple of text messages being sent to you just to make you feel jealous.
Countdown of things to be checked -
Camera at the ready, alibi for OH checked and believed, sandwiches to be made (how can I eat on a day like that you may say), mobile charged.
To copy the scouts -
I WILL DO MY BEST FOR THE TIBB BARMY ARMY

Dear BusyBee,
So pleased you are on PC watch for us in Newport. We shall expect a full report and pics or else poor ROB will go into a permanent sulk!
She's already in a bit of a sulk because some of us (including Boris and maggie) are having a weekend in Belfast in November.
If you fail her I shall have a permanently miffed ROB on my hands, and that is not a nice thought.
As the Mommy Tiger said to the baby:

PRESSURE:bawling::bawling:
What if I fail my not so secret mission.
What if they are not there.
What if someone gets in front of me and I cant take a photo.
What if I see PC and totally feint away
What if Helen thumps me for talking to her fella.
What if ...............
Oh dear I think I will have to go and have a lie down. Perhaps I should just stay at home and you can all have a virtual trip. But then again could I give up the chance of seeing Mr C?
NO WAY
And anyway ROB would kill me and where would Boris be then?
