Attention, everyone :xyxwave:

The outcome of Sergeant Splodge's disciplinary hearing has now been decided.

For a length of time to be determined by myself, his current 'signature' will be withheld and replaced with a more appropriate one befitting his serious misdemeanour.

Should he behave during this period, the signature will be returned to him intact.

However, should any more misdemeanours occur during this period, he has hereby been threatened with being deported to 'Scotchland' until the start of I'm A Celebrity, Get Me Out of Here.

But isn't Kaz only commander of the Infantry, not the airforce ?

As far as I am aware I go up a different chain of command.

The original idea proposed was by Mark, a Super Admin, I did not originate it, just pointed out that our Commander in Chief, Secretary of Defence Mark came up with an elegant solution.

Who am I, a mere Wing Commander to question the Wisdom of the Secretary of Defence :nono:

Meanwhile, just to let you know, the guys are out there patroling, ready for action.

Rank must be earned young man......

You start at 'private' and work your way up.

There have been MANY field decorations during THIS mission.

Your task will be to support Captain Kazin her mission to post last.

YOu may start by helping Wing Commandr sticks in his 'night duty'. It's hard work but the rewards are many.

I you find out what they are please tell the others !

OH and I have spent many a happy holiday HERE (http://www.colonsay.org.uk/) - a very small island 15 miles south of Mull.

That sounds like a very tempting idea . . . . .

I think poor Splodge has suffered enough for one week, don't you? I'll leave the 'walking the plank' punishment in reserve just now, if that's all right with you.

He seems to be suffering from hallucinations just now, caused by the cold up in Scotland, and imagining that he's on board the Victory. Similar to the ones Sticks has been having where he thinks he's Tom Cruise. Plenty of rest and a stiff drink or two and he'll soon be back to normal . . . . won't you Splodge?

My grandmother came from a village called Achiltibuie (http://www.achiltibuie.net/index.htm) in Wester Ross. I haven't been there for a while but there are some white sandy beaches like this one at Achnahaird:

http://www.achiltibuie.net/images/achbeach.jpg

more beaches (http://www.achiltibuie.net/beaches.htm)

Also there is a group of islands called the Summer Isles, named because of the hot summer weather that Kaz and ROB mentioned. Only one of the islands is inhabited.

If we are into islands, then I would like to mention that this one

http://www.lundyisland.co.uk/jpg/lundy_island_1.jpg

Is quite good. Lundy Island (http://www.lundyisland.co.uk/) sits at the border of the Bristol Channel and the Atlantic Ocean, 11 miles off of the North Devon coast. It was declared Britain's first Marine Nature reserve in 1986. It is owned by the National Trust and run by the Landmark Trust. Lundy is 3 miles long by half a mile wide.

When I used to stay there, I stayed at Old Light Cottage.

http://www.lundyisland.co.uk/jpg/old_cottage.jpg

Situated in the compund of the Old Light.

http://www.lundyisland.co.uk/jpg/old_light.jpg

Situated on the top of the Highest Hill.

This meant the light was virtually useless, as it was mostly shrouded in fog and clouds. The locals warned that this would happen, but were ignored.

I regret to announce that the body of Flight Officer Ginger was recovered by airforce guys this afternoon. Details are being witheld until his family have been informed.

Flight Officer Ginger was a first class pilot and officer. He was always going above and beyond the call of duty. He will leave a large hole in our unit. The guys are holding a memorial tonight.

I have not asked them about airforce cover tonight, and have granted them one nights compassionate leave.

I have arranged through naval contacts cover from our colleages in the Navy.

It is always hard when you loose someone under your command.

This is not the first time, and sadly I suspect it will not be the first. It is something we accept when we sign up, as you do in the infantry.

We grieve for our fallen collegue, as you have been doing so for Splodge :bawling: The men in white coats will not be needed, as we will return to mission operational status.

I’m signing in to take ‘report,
And horrified to see,
Just WHAT’S been going on round here,
That you did not tell me,
I’ve read the transcript,
EVERY WORD,
Recorded, don’t you know,
To be used now as evidence,
And boy, do I know how !

Lieutenant LEE is OUT again,
Carousing, who know where,
ROB says she’s going off the rails,
Hmm, who will meet her there?
She’s on her own ‘manouvers’,
She says it’s not like her,
To stay out late,
And celebrate,
Do we believe her?
YUR !(sarcastic rhyme)

And all the other members,
Of the ‘Barmy Army’ here,
Had better ‘watch their step’
Or Kaz will catch you,
NEVER FEAR !

She’ll call on Admiral Splodge for help,
With his little red bottomed boat,
He’ll rig it up,
You’ll walk the plank,
You will not stay afloat.

But Boris knows you do your best,
It really is not easy,
Let Captain Kaz
Do the last post…..
Now that IS easy peasy !

May I just say a few words in LEE's defence, your honour. After all, she's just a young thing, out enjoying her life and I think she should be excused duty for a week or so, bhlcs.
