Sorry to be a spoil sport, but did not Mark put on a lim it of the number of smilies per post for some technical reason and space issues ? :conf:

Tut tut will have to take you in hand and have a serious talk to you. Stealing other people's smilies - very serious offence that. Will have to consult my law book to see what the correct sentence should be.
Love the piccy by the way you have caught the very essence of the Barmy Army.

Mind this is from the well brought up lady who spent time this afternoon helping choose a stripagram for our junior's 18th birthday bash. It really is very difficult choosing between sailors, firemen, policemen etc. etc. all very scantily clothed you know, but someone had to help choose didnt they.:hugesmile:
Poor BusyBee - what a terribly boring job.  NOT!!!
Nice t-shirt, Sticks. My weekend had a nautical theme too - I went on a tour round the Royal Yacht Britannia, now moored at Leith Docks in Edinburgh. Highly recommend it!

As Big Sister would say - afternoon troops
:xyxwave::xyxwave::xyxwave::xyxwave:
Had one of those days so far :
1. Went out to put some rubbish in the wheelie bin and slipped on some mud falling on my posterior.
2. Had to go and change cos I had a huge patch of mud on said posterior.
3. Late of work because of 1 and 2 above.
4. Computer froze after I had just finished typing a 10 page statement - had to do it again.
5. Spilt cup of coffee all over desk - panic to clear up before I did something disasterous to said computer.
6. Realised I only had one earring in - other has obviously dropped out - one of my favourite pairs too.
Etc. etc. The afternoon can only get better cant it. Or can it?
Still got Friday and Monday off - boss hasnt realised yet!!!.

Hiya Boris - well done on your weight loss - I've lost 2 stone and thought that was good, but I bow in your presence. Now that really is a reason for a virtual party. Shall we make it fancy dress? Come as your favourite BB housemate:hugesmile::hugesmile:

Sounds good .... I've still got my pink sparkly sequin top that I wore to the BB2 Josh bs Helen eviction in support of Helen!
Was going to wear it for "pink" Breast Cancer support day on Friday but didn't think it would quite fit!
Sounds good to me, Kaph.
If we're dressing up, then I think I'll wear a little green off-the-shoulder number and cowboy boots, and come as Paul!
:xyxwave:
BusyBee
04-11-2003, 04:18 PM
Well seeing as Kaz and Kaph have picked my first choices. Must say though Kaz that if you come as Paul you might have to fight off at least two members of this site.:blush: They shall be nameless but I am sure you can have a good guess.
So who shall I be well there's Amma - all I need would be an orange blanket, but on second thoughts think I will go as PENNY in the first week and do all the cooking for the party. After all if I cant be Helen.:hugesmile:
I'm sure you'll be able to spot the poor imitation though, BusyBee - I'm about a foot shorter than the IPS for a start!
Don't want any 'hanky panky' from you either, if you're coming as Penny - Helen (Kaph) wouldn't be amused!!!

In a completely virtual way of course. After all I couldnt come between the IPS and his fair lady. But thanks for the offer Kaph, such a generous lady you are.

Oh Shucks everyone, it was nice to meet all of you last year too.
Yep, Boris, Maggie and I are off with 100 other mad women to Ireland to get a kiss from the Irish Charmer. Do you think the poor chap knows what he's in for?
In case you don't know what it will be like, Wendy alias ROB has posted a radio bulletin about it.

We had a wonderful time.
Malachi is a lovely chap and is as sweet to us 'old ladies' as he is to the 'pretty girls'.
There was a lot of merriment about the Bad Butcher song with several 'new' verses written. I got to sing mine with Malachi as did others after in groups.
I had a great time and so dod everyone else.
I f you want to read more I am sure Peachy will put in a link to the Malachi Mad site for you to read the official version.
Piccy following .........

We seek him here we seek him there
That elusive Sticks we seek him everwhere
But just remember try as you may
We'll find you there both night and day
The Tibb army have many eyes
We're clever and good and bright and wise
So own up Sticks and let us know
The prophet of death is in full flow.

A FAREWELL KISS
Boris is abandoning,
The ‘Kiss of Death’ right now!
She thinks it’s had it’s ‘hey day’,
Such fun it was ….and how !!!!!
BUT…
The ‘Admiral’ sank without a trace,
The ‘Captain’ hardly shows her face,
The ‘Sergeants’ too, are rarely here,
Then ‘Private Madonna’ went for a beer…..
( he never came back again . He is AWOL !)
AND…
All the other members of the ‘Barmy Army’ will,
Just take their ease,
On leave now please,
No duties to fulfill,
‘Big Sisters’ gone to baby sit,
I hope they’ll ALL remember it
With pleasure, and a little smile,
For time will pass, and in a while
We’ll think of something to beguile.
BECAUSE…
We need some fun,
It must be done,
For pleasure
In our leisure.
BUT….
Mr. Sticks will give a cheer,
He’ll not be sad,
You need not fear,
He’ll raise the flag,
He’ll bow us out,
With ‘HIP HOORAY’,
And jovial shout……(well he might !)
Our trivia will no longer send,
His studious mind right round the bend.
ALAS…
‘The Kiss of Death’ is almost done,
‘Twill lie in peace,
Be gone,
Be gone,
Be gone….but not forgotten !
Over to you now Kaz !
:love::love::love::love::love:
Thank you, Boris.
Dear TiBB Barmy Army Troops,
We've guarded Boris very well
