Wow! WWE are full of surprises at the moment, that's exactly what is needed.

Awesome Raw last night, very exciting and unpredictable, like it should be.

So good to see CM Punk as champion, a new face was needed for the main events.

Raw looks fresh right now with hopefully big stars been made out of Punk, Kofi Kingston, Dibiase/Rhodes and Santino Marella.

Did anyobody else notice a lot of blown spots in the parking lot brawl at the Bash? Like when Bradshaw tried to smash Cena through some of the fake glass in the car windows and the glass didn't budge, and at the end, Cena was supposed to go through the windscreen of the car. What did you think of the show?

I read a few reports that indicated that most of the parking lot brawl was pre-recorded earlier in the day.It was a pretty entertaining match but I did notice things didn't go quite right at the end.JBL plays the role as heel so well.

The Great American Bash was a decent ppv,perhaps a bit better than what I'd actually expected.The four man tag match was a bit boring, sorry to see Miz and Morrison lose the title as I feel they're one of the best tag teams in WWE right now.I suppose they have had the titles for quite a while now and it will do Hawkins and Rhyder good to hold some gold, rather than just act as Edge's lackey's.

Matt Hardy's run as US champion was a short lived one but I fully understand the reasoning behind him losing it, the US title is much better suited to a bigger show like Smackdown and Hardy can go on to challenge Mark Henry for the ECW Title.I thought it was a pretty good match overall and I'm pleased that Shelton Benjamin was the one to win the title, he's a very talented wrestler that's been under utilised in recent years.He can truly live upto the nickname of the gold standard now.

As expected, Mark Henry retained the ECW title against Tommy Dreamer.I was very surprised about that little loser, Delaney turned on Dreamer though.I guess that sets up a new feud for both of them, as Dreamer's nothing but a glorified jobber these days and he's only going to get squashed by Henry.

Shawn Michaels vs Chris Jericho was another pretty good match.I think this feud has been one of the high points in WWE over the past few months, Jericho has shown he's equally good as a hell as what he is a babyface.The brutality of the match should really help solidify Jericho as a hated figure with the fans now.I'm sure Michaels will make a comeback and end up getting his revenge on Y2J.

The divas match between Michelle McCool and Natalya was poorly done in my view.Natalya was in control of the match then that pathetic heel lock got applied and that was it.I don't think McCool is anywhere near the level of Natalya.

I enjoyed the clash of styles in the Batista vs CM Punk match.I always thought that Kane would come down and end the match though,they didn't want either Punk or Batista to lose and it just fitted in with the crazy Kane angle.I have to say that Kane is one of the strangest booked wrestlers in the company.He's just been moved from brand to brand, going from face to heel.I much prefer evil Kane though.

My favorite match of the night was the main event between Triple H and Edge.It's the first time in a while they've faced each other, I don't really remember them having too many matches down the years, so it was a fresh feud and I thought they worked well together.The ending was a bit confusing, with that wedding planner woman coming down to try and hand Edge the belt, but that was in full view of the ref.Then we had the epic clothesline from Vickie on her, followed by the spear from Edge to Vickie.All that distraction helped Triple H to the win and keeps things open for more matches down the line between the two.

Good to see D'Lo Brown back on RAW against Santino this past monday.What was that kiss between Beth and Santino all about? lol.I must say I did see it coming,possibly those two will become a team now.

I really hope Jericho goes on to a title match soon because I think this feud has gone on quite a bit now, maybe it's just because I don't like HBK.. but it has shown how awesome he is as a serious heel, as opposed to the heel figure he used to play before. Now that he's a more serious, angry character, he can be taken more seriously and booked better [aka give him a damn title match].

The GAB was okay, I can't believe Michelle won the Diva's championship over Natalya =/ Probably to do with her relationship with Taker... ahem. :rolleyes:

My fave match at the GAB was HBK vs Y2J because I think it was done brilliantly, having Jericho win because Michaels couldn't go on but refused to give up. We all know HBK will return eventually and get his revenge.

tonight, i hope jericho moves onto the WHC like he said in his aweeeesome promo last week. top heel on raw, best thing on raw full stop, surely he deserves a title run after all this stuff about moving on and whatnot. i just hope lance cade starts a feud with hbk now because jericho/michaels has gone on too long for me ;D

cena vs batista at SS i'm confused about because i thought they'd save it for WM.. supposedly it's a big draw so yeah.. idk how jbl and kane will come into the equation.. they should start a feud of their own because i would rather see the great khali as champion than JBL. i can't stand him.

if cody rhodes and ted dibiase lose their tag titles tonight against cena and batista, i'll go mad because if they're going to do the whole 'tag team champs who don't like eachother but work together' crap, i've seen it so many times before and it's tedious now.

so we'llllll see tonight on raw, hopefully it's better than last weeks.

The Adamle era didn't get off to the best start though, the annoucement of Batista vs Cena seemed to be missed by half the crowd lol.I can just imagine some of the errors he might make.CD Plunk vs Cone for the WEF Heavyweight title.

I'd like them to have an elimination chamber match for the heavyweight title.CM Punk vs Kane vs Cena vs Batista vs JBL vs Jericho.As you say, Y2J deserves to be in the title picture as he is the number one heel around right now.I do think they'll go down the line of HBK getting revenge though.

I also hate when two main eventers come and take the tag titles.It just leaves the division as pointless until the top team drop the titles again.

Just done watching this weeks Raw, in terms of the matches they were all very well done but in terms of the storyline on the whole it sucked.

I had huge reservations about them picking Mike Adamle as the GM of the main show but the way in which they've put across, as someone who's admitted to making errors in the past but is determined to get things right in his new role.He could do with work on the promo side of things but other than that I was impressed.

In a weird way I like this team of Beth & Santino, she's the one that's obviously going to bail him out of trouble in the future and they should have a good match with Kofi and Mickie at Summerslam.The idea to have both the IC and Women's title on the line makes things a bit different.

I'm not best pleased having JBL as the number one contender either.This is a guy that got pretty much beaten clean by Punk about a month back and was losing matches left,right and centre.Suddenly though, he get's on a good run and is put back in the title picture, suppose it's someone for Punk to beat again but I'd have preferred a triple threat.Jericho's been one of the most interesting guys over the past couple of months and now he's left without a feud until HBK is back, that's just treading over old ground too.Jericho's new attire sucks btw.

What's going on with Kane? I was excited about where this whole insanity thing was leading but now it's just confusing me and he's just beating heel jobbers.

What was the point of Batista and Cena becoming tag champs? Just so they can go around trying to out taunt each other with belts for a few weeks before coming to blows again? Priceless were another one of the high points of RAW now they go back to being just another tag team, they needed those belts to help put them over as legit special talents.

The more I think and read about this Cena vs Batista feud, the more I become against it.These are two of the biggest names in the company right now and it's been that way for a few years now.It might be a fresh feud but this really needed to be left off until Wrestlemania, that would have been a huge draw for the fans as it's one of those fantasy matches that's been held off to leave people wanting it.Now they've got it but only at summerslam.This not only pushes the two world heavyweight title matches aside but also the conclusion of the lengthly and epic feud between Undertaker and Edge.I just don't see the logic behind this.

- I don't really care what type of match they're in really. I want Taker to win this.

Kane vs Rey Mysterio
- Again I don't care on the choice of match. I don't really care for this match either. I'll laugh my ass off if Rey wins.

ECW Title Match - Matt Hardy vs [Mark Henry/Evan Bourne/Finlay]
- Evan Bourne needs a title shot, that would be so awesome! He's amazing. I wouldn't mind it being Finlay either but I'd prefer Evan to get the shot. Matt will retain.

US Title Match - Shelton Benjamin vs [R-Truth/MVP/Festus]
- Haha I want Festus to get voted in for a laugh. I see it being R-Truth though. Again I don't care for this match either.

Hopefully Raw is good tonight, the PPV mostly was rubbish last night apart from Jeff winning. The card was really predictable. HBK/JBL, whatever this storyline is, is really boring. I saw them wrestle at a houseshow last month and I was bored to tears lol. The whole 'HBK being broke' is sooo unbelievable. I'm looking forward to seeing what happens between Jericho & Cena mostly.

Doubt he'd get very far with HHH on the same brand but it would make sense as Steph said he wouldn't be able to compete for the World title again... she didn't mention the WWE title i don't think. Part of me thinks that Steph and Chris are working together secretly.. there's loads of possibilities of what could happen, like Chris could come back in the RR as #30 or something, a surprise entrant like Cena last year.

I'm real sad to see Victoria retire too =( Her speech that was posted on WWE.com was really sad. Now the 'veteran' divas are just the diva search girls.. Maria, Michelle. :/ Although I don't think she was treated very well.. I wish she'd have at least won her match against McCool.. or got to leave like Trish did, because I think she was as good as her.

There was an incident following the 2/7 Raw house show event in Victoria, British Columbia, Canada this past Saturday involving Chris Jericho and some WWE fans. A video has already hit YouTube of the incident:

The only thing we can go off of is a firsthand account by an individual named Matt who witnessed the incident and sent the following statement to various wrestling media:

"Here is what actually happened, as my girlfriend and I were literally 5 feet away from the altercation (the total incident was about 5 minutes) and saw the whole thing happen. Here's what happened:

This afternoon after the WWE house show in Victoria, my girlfriend and I went to see the wrestlers leave the arena (this was my girlfriend's first WWE event and she wanted to see them leave). The following is exactly what happened right in front of me and about another 50 wrestling fans who happened to be there are well:

Chris Jericho exited the building, and walked over to his white rental vehicle. The crowd watching him leave was heckling him, but he was ignoring it. He gets in his vehicle and drives out of the arena parking lot, right past the crowd of us. As Jericho stops at a stop sign, a fan runs into the street and starts banging on his rental vehicle. At this point about 50 people rush into the middle of the intersection, blocking traffic in several directions, with no police and very inadequate and incompetent security (no WWE security guards period). My girlfriend and I were literally in the very front of the crowd, and this all went down literally five feet away from us.

Chris Jericho opens the door to his vehicle in the middle of the road, and the fan shuts the door back on him. Jericho then gets out of the vehicle completely, and punches the fan in the face! This prompts another fan to jump in (he was friends with the first) and attack Jericho, and Jericho scuffles with the second guy. At this point, a woman who knows the second guy who attacked Jericho starts to jump in and get in Jericho's face (because he was fighting her friend).

This is where the Save on Foods Rent-A-Security Guards stopped standing around watching this happen (I swear they thought they were watching a wrestling angle or something), and stepped in to separate Jericho and the woman, who was shoving him. Looking at Jericho's face he was obviously ready to explode and was restraining himself...but then the shitstorm happened...

He spit in the girl's face, and called her a "*****ing bitch". The woman then spit in Jericho's face. Jericho then started cursing out the woman some more, and was getting ready to go back into his vehicle (as all of this is still happening in the middle of the road). While he was turning to go into his vehicle, one of the guys he was fighting shoved Jericho against his car. Another guy then shoved Jericho, and that time he bumped his head on the top of his vehicle. This was where Jericho seriously snapped.

After bumping his head, Jericho went into a sh*tstorm, throwing and swinging at everybody around him. He knocked one guy to the ground, told another fan that he was going to "*****ing kill you". The woman who got spit on was still yelling at Jericho, so he piefaced her away from him (because the arena security couldn't keep them separated). As soon as he put his hands on the woman, ANOTHER fan jumps in and starts swinging at Jericho. Jericho grabs the guy and starts throwing him to the ground, and at this point I have to yank my girlfriend out of the way and into some other people because Jericho had literally thrown himself and the other guy into our direction and we would of been knocked down by the scuffle.

The arena security try again at this point to regain order, and two of them grab Jericho and start yelling at him to calm down, to which Jericho responds by taking a swing at one of the security guards and yelling at them to "do your *****ing job and get the *****ing police here". Then he shoves the second guard to the ground and tells him to "stay the ***** off me".

Well, as that happens, the chick lunges at Jericho AGAIN, and this time Jericho actually punches the woman in the face, and shoves her to the ground. This stunned everyone, and the girl's friends ended up jumping in trying to fight Jericho, to which he fought all of them off, then storms into his vehicle swearing and speeds off, running through a stop sign in the process.

This whole thing happened over the span of about 5 minutes (of the street being blocked by this ordeal), and the woman ended up calling the cops on Jericho. They arrived 5 minutes after Jericho left, complete with a Paddy Wagon. The WWE's head of security did not see the incident, so he was there trying to figure out what happened along with the cops at the same time while yapping on his cell phone, and the woman is pressing charges against Jericho. As crazy and unbelievable this sounds, it can all be backed up with whatever police report was filed on the scene this afternoon.

I hope this made sense, as a lot of stuff happened. If you have any questions or need clarification, just ask. This was taped by several people with cell phone cameras, but there were only 50 people down there so I hope the video makes it way to the internet. Regardless, this went down as one of the craziest things I have ever seen in my life (even if it didn't involve Chris Jericho), and Jericho could be in some serious legal trouble over this one; although he was provoked, he seriously snapped and crossed the line."

Another point is it's illegal to use more power to defend yourself than your being threatened with. Eg he was threatened by a sweet blond wing nut therefore he ought only use equal force and not use his WWE skills and punch her in the face twice. ( was it twice?). Any way you get my point?...if a karate expert beats up an un armed attacker with his karate skills then then his skills are considered a weapon and he can get charged. Ditto with Chris using his WWE skills on young chick who adores him. To be fare he should have got his handbag out and hit her with that. :P

THE wrestling world is in mourning following the death of Andrew Martin at the age of just 33.
Best known as Test in the WWE, Martin won the federation’s intercontinental, European, hardcore and tag titles.

In his peak in the late 90s, he was regularly involved in storylines with The Rock, Triple H and the McMahon family.

Police in Tampa, Florida, were called to his home at 8pm on Friday night after his neighbour reported she could see a man lying motionless inside.

The officers forced entry and found Martin dead.

His body was transported to the local Medical Examiners Office for an autopsy to determine the cause of death.

Martin's last stint in the WWE lasted from 2006-2007 but he left under a cloud after falling foul of the company’s strict Wellness Policy.

Questions over steroid abuse also stopped rival wrestling company TNA giving him a full-time job shortly afterwards.

In April 2008, Martin made local news headlines when he was arrested on a drink-driving charge in Florida. His police mugshot showed a man very different to in his wrestling prime.

Martin announced his retirement from the grappling business in December 2007 – although he was supposed to be going on a farewell tour of Ireland this March.

It is thought he wanted to return to college and become a personal trainer, leaving his dark days behind him.

The star – who had dated WWE Divas Stacy Keibler and Kelly Kelly – recently wrote on his MySpace page: “They say nobody retires from wrestling.

“I can't tell you how much I hate to see guys keep working long after they should be dead or permanently disabled.

“You have to come to terms when you ask yourself what is your health worth? To me? You can't put a price on it!
