Yeyyy a new thread, good title aswell.
What do people think of the merging of ECW and Smackdown? i think its kinda a good idea because some talent that don't get seen get to showcase there talents.
Sarah.
17-10-2007, 07:51 PM
CM Punk for the WHC!
I think it's a good idea as ECW got poor ratings, I didn't see the point in bringing it back, Vince killed it.
Anyone heard about a wrestling convention next year? Apparently it's the 1st ever UK wrestling convention.
ECW had lost everything that it stood for so it makes sense to just merge, there's hardly anyone on ECW anyway.
Redmond
17-10-2007, 08:50 PM
The merge means nothing to me really as I don't watch ECW or Smackdown anymore, there's not enough on either show that interests me enough to watch. I love CM Punk and Finley but even that's not enough to get me to watch.
Do we think Jericho is going to be back at Cyber Sunday then? The video this week said "2nd_Coming....Upon_Us" so it must be soon.
Sarah.
18-10-2007, 04:50 PM
I hope he comes back at Cyber Sunday, the PPV is free lol.
But if he does come back, I don't know what he'd do... like would he go after Orton for the title? What about HBK?
Ruth*Star
18-10-2007, 04:53 PM
I see It being a triple threat, Orton,HBK,Y2J, that would be a dream match for me, it'd be so cool, so new and yeah if he does come back at Cyber Sunday the PPv is free lol so i won't have to pay.
Sarah.
18-10-2007, 05:15 PM
Yeah and in all seriousness, if they have Orton drop the belt AGAIN 1 month after he won it... well i'll be angry. Even if it was to be Y2J/HBK.. I still think Orton deserves a long title run.
Anyone going to the Wrestlemania Revenge tour in the UK next April?
Redmond
18-10-2007, 05:42 PM
I don't think Y2J will go straight into the WWE title picture. I'm not sure who his first rivalry will be with, but I would love to see another Jericho/HBK match, preferably at Mania so I can see it live. :) There match at Mania 19 was awesome.
I think the plan as of now is to keep the title on Orton till Mania 24 where he'll be wrestling...well take a wild guess...Vince's favourite boy...Triple H. I hope the plan changes though, I want something different than Triple H fighting in the main event at another Mania.
I know it's quite a while away but here are the top matches I want to see at Mania:
Edge vs The Undertaker (World Title vs Undefeated steak, Edge also is undeafted by pinfall or submission at Mania, so this one would be great)
Chris Jericho vs Shawn Michaels (as I've already explained)
Randy Orton vs Mr Kennedy (for the WWE title, that will never happen though, Vince would never put two heels in the main event)
And another Money In The Bank match of course.
Sarah.
19-10-2007, 05:14 PM
I don't think Ortons gonna keep it until Wrestlemania.. I think he'll keep it until around Xmas, and drop it to HHH or HBK. Hopefully he won't be forgotten about or anything after he does lose the title, and I hope they keep Randy on RAW, he is too good for SD.
Ruth*Star
19-10-2007, 05:28 PM
Personally if he does drop it, I'd like if HBK or Chris Jericho won it, because HHH is a 11 time champ and hes had the title plenty of times so it'd be nice if those 2 had a chance and when Randy does lose the title i also hope he isn'r buried.
Sarah.
19-10-2007, 05:30 PM
I don't like the way things are going now, Ortons got a sweet chin music to the face 2 weeks in a row now.. Personally I don't see why... he's the champ...
Did you put WWE Cyber sunday on the TiBB calendar? :P
Redmond
20-10-2007, 04:08 PM
Jericho has added two new book signings to his tour, one in Philadelphia on the 29th October (where Raw is that night) and one in Long Island on the 30th (where the ECW/Smackdown taping is that night). So looks like he could be back with the WWE either at Cyber Sunday or the Raw the night after, probably both.

And yeah Shawn coming back is good and all, being Kicked in the face once is fine but 2 weeks in a row is annoying, the champ being kicked in the face, they should be pushing him not burying him.
Sarah.
21-10-2007, 12:33 PM
I really hate now even being the champ, he's getting buried. I mean at the houseshows over the past few days... Ortons been losing. At least make him look like a credible champ.

It makes sense seeing as these promos do have the same 'style' as the sense of what Cyber Sunday is.
I really do hope it's Jericho though lol

For Some strange reason Kristal was fired this weekend, runing the teddy long storyline.
Anyways yeah they are having randy lose which isn't making him a credible champ, they made cena win ALL a time when he was champ and they are showing randy down 2 weeks in a row when hes the champ.
Redmond
22-10-2007, 08:25 AM
It's common for heel wrestlers to be beaten more than faces though (unless your Triple H of course). Also especially when they are overseas as they believe the fans want to see the faces come out on top. So a heel champion is likely to take more of a beating, cheat more and steal victories etc.
Ruth*Star
23-10-2007, 10:53 AM
Third week in a row, Randy getting kicked in the head and the last frame on the screen of Orton out, its just getting tiresome now, He's getting Buried, He isn't getting treat like a credible champ.
Can't the wwe have randy standing high with the title instead of being out cold by Shawn, i think Shawn rawks but its getting annoying.
Other news Beth Phoenix injured Candice, she tripped on the top rope and what does Beth go and do, drag her by the hair when she could have a possible neck injury, Smart Move by her.
Sarah.
23-10-2007, 12:17 PM
Randy should win at Cyber Sunday then. It'll be an absolute joke if he doesn't.
Yeah Candice is gonna be out for 6-8 weeks I think.
Ruth*Star
23-10-2007, 12:19 PM
Yeah, if he loses at Cyber sunday i won't be a happy person.
I also loved Santino Marellas Promo on raw, lol he thought the Save us promo was from stone cold lol, Santino is a Gold heel.
Sarah.
23-10-2007, 12:23 PM
LOL I really like Santino now, I haven't seen RAW yet though.
I loved his song about The Condemned the other week, and his jokes about Stone Cold.
Ruth*Star
23-10-2007, 12:35 PM
Yeah hes so funny calling Lillan, Jillian Garcia, its just hilarous, i'd wouldn't mind seeing Santino as intercontiential champ again because it seems Jeffs going for the wwe title.

I read JR's Blog and i left this message and included a question about randy.

what are your thoughts on the tna women’s division and what impact it possibly has on the wwe women’s division?
who would you like to win the diva search? I personally wanted Lena to win because she reminded me loads of Gail Kim but she was eliminated this week.
And do you think Randy is being Portrayed well as champion because for 3 weeks in a row hes been superkicked and i personally think hes being buried and not being shown as a credible champ but that could just be my opinion because i waited so long to see randy wwe champ?
Again thanks for another great blog and i hope you and your wife are okay!

I missed Santino's reaction to the Save Us video because my Sky froze exactly on that point and then came back after the adverts!! But agree Santino is a fanstastic heel, I didn't really like him when he first debuted as a face but he is a perfect heel, loved the little point he did towards his face when he said.."And guess who it doesn't mention...not even once....Santino Marella".
I feel bad for Candice, that was a nasty fall, she's improved loads this year and it's a shame she will be out for a couple of months, hopefully this doesn't put her off wrestling.
And it's official the new Hart Foudation as been scrapped as Harry Smith debuted alone last night, such a shame. But he impressed me in his match with Carlito.
And looks as if Jericho will be returning on Raw next week and not Cyber Sunday. X29 it said a lot...X = 10. 10/29, next weeks Raw is the 29th October. Plus the USA Network told WWE to have his return on Raw in order to boost ratings.
Sarah.
24-10-2007, 04:13 PM
Yeah, I think whoever this Save_us thing is about... they will 'save us' next week .=] Can't wait, so hope it's Jericho!
I just saw Candices fall, it looked really bad, I hope she'll be ok..
And I just read this on a website; It's supposed to be what Batista wrote in his new book, it's disgusting. I really dislike this man.;;
"<< Now, don't get me wrong, my ex-wife is the love of my life and I would never knowingly hurt her. However, while I was busting my butt on the road like a dog, she would sit around the house and do nothing. I mean, yeah, she had cancer, but she couldn't vacuum? And since the chemo made her "not in the mood", I had no choice but to have threesomes on the road. I mean, she's talented and I hated to see her waste her life like that when she could be a dancer, or maybe a nurse. But she's not a bad person and I take full responsibility for my actions, even though it was her fault. >>"
Ruth*Star
24-10-2007, 04:16 PM
I know i just read it on wrestlezone and i didn't know his wife had cancer, he jokes about it, hes a horrible man, hes a average wrestler aswell.
I don't understand where Melina comes into it, I thought she was dating John Morrison, he even confirmed it when a fan asked at the birmingham show.
And yeah I'm hoping Jericho saves us next week because if it isn't him i won't be happy.
Redmond
24-10-2007, 05:27 PM
Is that really what Batista wrote? It sounds like a parody, if it's real that's pretty strange.
Anyway Sci-Fi have extended ECW's contract for another year, so I suppose that's good news.
Sarah.
24-10-2007, 05:32 PM
I got it from gerweck.net but I don't see it anymore. Other people who have read his book claim it's not there. I think someone probably made it up then.
I still don't like him.
Batista is meant to say some very controversial things in his new book, mostly stuff about other wrestlers and all the women he has had .He's not meant to be liked backstage.
Sarah.
24-10-2007, 07:19 PM
I would buy his book but I don't want to give him any of my money, if you know what I mean.
He's known to be very "off" with people at signings, like he doesn't want to be there at all. He did a signing a couple of miles away from where I live and he didn't want to meet any of his fans.
No wonder all of his fans are kids, the older fans know what an asshole he is.

Did any of you see the video of Candice being helped to the back on the stretcher on WWE.com? Stephanie McMahon tries to give her some water..while she's flat on her back! And she nearly chokes.
I haven't seen it myself but read it on various news sites, I think the video has been removed now.

I saw Raw last night, it was GREAT! Harry Smith was on, British bulldogs son, he beat Carlito. Awesome match. Harry will be champ one day, you can tell he's gonna be good.
Good tag team main event. HBK, Kennedy and Orton are all good wrestlers.
Redmond
26-10-2007, 11:32 AM
Yeah Harry Smith will go on to big things I'm sure, I just wish he didn't have to have the stereotypical posh, royal sounding music that all British wrestlers seem to have. :)
Matt Hardy will still be wrestling Sunday by the way, for anyone that didn't know he got a huge gash in his head the other night when his head caught Mysterio's knee brace, he need 35 stitches to shut it up!
Ruth*Star
26-10-2007, 12:54 PM
Yeah i read on his myspace he was injured, i'm just happy hes still compeating at Cyber Sunday, it'd be a shame if he wasn't since the MVP/Matt feud is the best thing on smackdown imo, (I only watch sd for the Matt/MVP feud) i like the way the feud is going.
And yeah i wish DH Smith had a nice entrance theme instead of the Royal, Uppity theme he has, Watch Katie Lea (Nikita) get a Royal Uppity theme when she debuts, (I see her being on sd soon since shes been doing house shows)
Redmond
26-10-2007, 03:11 PM
Oh great, I've seen Nikita wrestle a few times, at an FWA show I went to once she was really good. It's shame the actual women that can wrestle get put on Smackdown though, Nikita should be on Raw in the Womens Division, along with Victoria. Send Maria and even Melina across to Smackdown instead. (although that would mean splitting up Santino and Maria and those two are great together, I can see him becoming quite dominant over her and then the storyline will eventually end with Maria turning on Santino and costing him some match or other).
DreadPirate
26-10-2007, 03:57 PM
I liked it when Smith came out to Rule Britannia, it reminded me of Davey Boy Smith back in the 90s, plus Harry dedicated the match to his dad (on Heat and Raw in England) so I think theyre just making sure the fans know who he's related to. I doubt theyll keep using that music after a few weeks or months, but I wouldnt mind if they did, it sounds good.
Hopefully Jericho's back at Cyber Sunday.
Sarah.

Jericho's back on Raw I believe, the USA Network want to hold off the return until Raw.
Speaking of Jericho just read this online:
I took my son & daughter to the book signing at Barnes & Noble tonight to see Y2J, he was very friendly with everyone and joked with the crowd throughout the session. One fan had screen printed the binary code promo from Raw and had it on a t-shirt, and somebody asked if there is 222 pages in the book. He laughed and said there is actually 444 pages and that’s a secret clue. Thanks to Gerweck for letting us know about this, my kids were quite happy to finally meet one of their heroes.
Chris seems like a really cool guy, more so than Batista that we've been mentioning on this thread. I placed my order for A Lion's Tale yesterday...anyone else getting it?
Oh and just a heads up guys, Cyber Sunday starts at 12AM on Sky Sports 3, not 1AM like usual.
Sarah.
27-10-2007, 09:02 AM
Thanks for letting me know about Cyber Sunday!
I got tickets to SD houseshow.. 7 rows back.. =D
And it was so damn hard to get through to RAW websites.. I was going crazy because it took me 40 minutes to get through. But I got Block AA row B for the houseshow =D
So i'm well chuffed!
Redmond
27-10-2007, 10:38 AM
Cool, they are good seats. WrestleMania tickets go on sale next week, I'll be trying to get good seats, but the previous two times I've never been able to get them off ticketmaster.com when they actually go on sale, they sell out too quick. So I have to end up paying more money off ticket companies that buy bulk tickets, I usually buy from ticketsnow.com
Thing is if you pay $250 on ticketmaster the day they go on sale you get a seat pretty near the front. But if you pay $250 off a different site after the tickets are sold out on ticketmaster, you get a seat near the back.
Sarah.

Many cable networks are making note of a new WWE Champion as the preview for this upcoming edition of RAW. Direct TV is one of them.
Source:Wrestlezone
Omg if they take that title of randy after a month (Which he hasn't been shon in a good light either) i won't be happy.
Or this could be a old Advertisment and Cyber sunday was suppost to be when randy was really suppost to win the title.
Sarah.
28-10-2007, 02:35 PM
HBK won't win.. (we all know HBK will be voted in).. he's not 100% and I don't see why they should put the title on him when he won't be able to give his best everyweek, his knees look set to buckle any minute.
It would be very annoying to see the WWE screw Orton over again and take the title off of him 1 month after he won it (deja vu?) and not been given a proper title run. Oh yeah.. getting superkicked in the face for 3 consecutive weeks is really showing what a great champ we have. Yeah we like to see the faces come out on top.. but it's repetitive and boring, and I want Randys to shiiine so others can burn in his light! (cheesy lol)
DreadPirate
28-10-2007, 06:25 PM
I hope Kennedy wins the vote, I think he and Orton would have a superb match.
Triple H v Umaga should be good.
(BTW mrs rko, Orton getting superkicked so many times would suggest he'll come out on top at the PPV, usually. If HBK gets voted in, my guess would be he lands a kick on Orton, takes too long to cover him, Orton kicks out and eventually wins. Or something along those lines. It'd be a bit weird if HBK got the better of him 4 weeks in a row.)
Sarah.
28-10-2007, 06:28 PM
Yeah me too, I've voted Kennedy a few times. Even though I think Hardy deserves it more, Kennedy/Orton will produce a much better match, and less of a chance of Orton losing =]
Redmond
28-10-2007, 08:39 PM
You really think HBK will be voted in?
I'd put money on it being Hardy who is voted to face Orton, I just think Hardy has the more loyal fanbase who would vote lots for him because he rarely gets a WWE title shot. Plus I think a lot of younger fans would vote for Hardy over HBK. I myself have voted around 4 or 5 times for it to be Hardy, I have nothing against HBK but I know he will be in plenty more title matches down the line, it's rare that Hardy gets a main event shot. I'd prefer it to be Kennedy out of all but I know he has no chance of being voted in. Anyway yeah...don't be surprised to see Jeff vs Orton tonight. But don't expect a title change, I highly doubt Orton will be losing.
Also expecting Santino to recieve a good old Stonecold Stunner tonight.
Anyone expecting Jericho tonight? I'd be hyped if he did return, but I have a feeling he'll be back on Raw instead.
Sarah.
28-10-2007, 09:02 PM
I dunno now as he's not 100% and he probably won't be able to last very long in a match, unless to get him to return they said he could have a title run. But it does look more likely to be Hardy now I think about it. But I can see the WWE wanted it to be HBK.
I have no idea when Jericho will return, it makes sense for him to return tonight but the network RAW is broadcast on wanted him to return on RAW.. so who knows..
DreadPirate
28-10-2007, 10:06 PM
Thats a good point you make LittlePod, Hardy would probably win the fans vote. Plus, it's an opportunity to get Hardy a title shot, whereas he wouldnt usually get one. Id be happy with that, I reckon Jeffs improved alot in the last year and a match against Orton would definitely put him as the underdog with most of the fans on his side. It should make a really good atmosphere, and with all Jeffs high flying moves it'll give Randy a chance to hit one of those awesome mid air RKOs he's known for.
So anyone else think these vote polls are fake? I do. Should still be a good show mind.
Ruth*Star
28-10-2007, 10:24 PM
My Predictions
Orton def HBK
Batista def Undertaker (Though I'd like it if Undertaker got the title back but i just don't see it happening)
Finlay def Mysterio (Stretcher)
Triple H def Umaga (Steel Cage)
CM Punk def John Morrison
MVP def Hardy (In wrestling match)
Diva's Halloween contest (I don't care about this but i see Mickey James Winning)
They could devote time to a Jeff/Kennedy IC title match but they put a divas Halloween contest on which could easily be done on raw.
Mine:
Orton pins HBK
Batista pins Undertaker.Ref-Stone Cold
Triple H beats Umaga in a steel cage match
Rey beats Finlay in a shillelagh on a pole match
Morrison pins Punk
Mickie wins the halloween contest
MVP submits Matt Hardy in a MMA match
Redmond
29-10-2007, 09:29 AM
Man was I wrong about Hardy. I underestimated the popularity of HBK.
Anyway what a crappy PPV, so boring and it definitely showed that the votes are real and NOT rigged becauase The Miz!! The Miz for gods sake got voted for the ECW title match.
-Finley vs Mysterio was a nice match, got the PPV off to a good start.
-But then as I said The Miz/CM Punk match was dull, should have been Morrison.
-Matt Hardy not being able to compete was a shame, I wasn't interested at all in another Kane vs MVP match.
-Kennedy vs Hardy match was okay but basically a Raw type match, nothing special.
-HBK vs Orton was a decent match but crappy ending and it just made Orton look weak again. But I suppose that's the role most heel champions have to play.
-Umaga vs Triple H was a good match though, picked the show up a little bit. Glad that it was a street fight.
-Undertaker vs Batista with Austin as the ref, no surprises there but what in the hell were they thinking with not doing anything with Santino and Austin?! Santino has been disrespecting Austin for over a month now, week after week and when you have Austin at a show you do nothing with it! Anyway the match was actually quite good, would've preferred Taker to win the title though.
Overall I think the fans at the live show really got cheated out of some great matches (as did we watching at home) but to be there must've really been disappointing. No Jericho return either although that PPV didn't deserve to have a Jericho return.

29-10-2007, 02:26 PM
Sounds like a terrible PPV. I'm glad it was free.
I was right about HBK being voted in.. but Orton winning as a result of a low blow is a pretty crap ending. Nevertheless I'm relieved that he retained!
No Jericho.. :\ RAW tonight then?
Good to see the Miz in the title match, he's the only one i like.
And hopefully Taker will regain his title soon, because I hate Batista and he sucks as champ. Taker FTW!

Finlay/Rey was a good, fun opener, with some nice innovative bits with the stretcher. No surprise Rey winning, I don't think Finlay ever gets a PPV win these days.
Punk/Miz wasn't too bad, but there were parts which were hard to watch, missing spots and sloppy timing, that sort of thing. The "you can't wrestle" chant was aimed at someone, presumably The Miz?
Kennedy/Hardy was average, not half as good as their 3 way a few PPVs back (possibly Summerslam against Umanga?).
Michaels/Orton was a decent match, finishing when Orton smashed HBK in the cogs when he went for the Sweet Chin Music. I laughed...and also wondered why it's taken so long for someone to do that.
Triple H/Umanga was a good brawl, as you'd expect, only tainted by the appearance of the sledgehammer, and it's use on Umanga's head. Surely it would kill him, right?
Decent show, but nothing important happened (title changes, great matches) which was annoying.

Just heard this was reported by Dave Meltzer...
"Jim Ross was subject to a major tongue lashing during the Cyber Sunday PPV after bad mouthing the Diva Halloween Costume Contest live on air. The commentators were told to put it over big, as Michael Cole, JBL and Lawler did. After the show, words were exchanged with Vince McMahon who was said to be furious and Jim Ross. It's not clear what has happened yet, but it is thought that either Ross quit or was fired."
Meltzer has denied knowing anything about it, so it's still unconfirmed.

I'm so glad Randy's still champ, i have seen Cyber Sunday yet but I've read the results, one thing that shocked me was the Miz being voted in for the ECW title match, by the forums I've been on, hes been unpopular and that was a shock (Really a shock) but I've warmed to the miz lately.
And i really hope JR hasn't been fired, he's a ace commentator.
JR said something daft last night and all:
JR - "Orton is right handed, so it makes sense for Michaels to go for his left hand."
King - Huh? Why would he go for his left if he's right handed?! That doesn't make sense JR!
JR - Yes it does...his left his weaker, so by taking that out...
King - He can still fight back with his stronger right JR!
JR - Oh I dunno.

It wasn't that great so don't get your hopes too high. It was alright don't get me wrong, but not the best match they've had, they've had better on Raw. It took a while to get into it.

Another crappy Raw, no Jericho which was disappointing, I have no idea when he'll return. There doesn't seem to be a storyline to put him into, because you've got the Triple H/Umaga storyline going on, HBK/Orton, Kennedy/Hardy, so that doesn't leave any big rivalries open for Jericho at the minute.
Sarah.

What a disappointment, no Jericho...
DX back next week, you could almost guess that Michaels was gonna help save HHH...
Santino is hilarious! Stone Colds on RAW next week..

I haven't seen the raw yet but i'm super disapointed that chris hasn't come back yet, its getting stupid now, they should just have him return, the fans will begin to tire and it'll backfire on them.

I agree with the main event, you could tell as soon as they announced the Triple H vs Umaga & Orton match that it would end up with HBK helping Triple H and reforming DX.
Santino was the best thing about Raw this week, "stomp a mud pie in you". :D

from Newsday in New York.

For WWE's Chris Jericho, a sort of homecoming
BY ALFONSO A. CASTILLO
October 30, 2007
He may have spent most of his life living in Winnipeg, but World Wrestling Entertainment writers just didn't like the idea of wrestling hero Chris Jericho being billed from the Great White North.
"They didn't want guys to be from Canada if they were good guys," said Jericho, 37, recalling the policy change about three years ago. "So I said, 'Why don't you just say Manhasset?' That's at least where I was born."
Tonight promises to be a homecoming on two different fronts for Jericho. Not only will he be signing copies of his recently published memoirs, "A Lion's Tale: Around the World in Spandex" at the Carle Place Barnes & Noble at 5 p.m., but he is rumored to be making his return to the ring after a two-year hiatus at the Nassau Coliseum for a taping of WWE's "Smackdown!" program.
"I never had any intentions of retiring. I just needed to take a step back," said Jericho, who spent his time off touring with his band, Fozzy, and doing some acting. But Jericho said writing a book, "helped me to remember the passion and the love that I had for the [wrestling] business."
"A Lion's Tale," which details Jericho's journey from a childhood Hulk Hogan fan through honing his craft in Mexico, Japan and, eventually, making it to the WWE, has drawn solid early reviews, including from Publishers Weekly, which called the book "Funny, insightful and compulsively readable."
Tonight's WWE event is the first on Long Island since controversy struck WWE when authorities say Chris Benoit killed his wife, son and himself in June. Jericho writes plenty about his close friend and mentor, in his book, which he completed more than a month before the deaths. In an addendum, Jericho addresses the incident, but otherwise left his remembrances of Benoit intact.
"He was involved so much in my life and especially in my early career, that you couldn't just edit this guy out," said Jericho. "It would be compromising my story."
Jericho, who moved to Canada when he was 5, has few memories of growing up on Long Island, but said performing here is always special.
"It's still always neat to see these words on a street sign of "Manhasset," and know that's what's on my birth certificate."

That wasn't true, Jericho didn't return last night at Smackdown, plus he'd return on Raw or a PPV if he were to return.
The new Save_Us video said "Launching_19" a lot so that could mean Y2J will be back on the 19th November on Raw, the night after Survivor Series.

Omg when i read this i was so annoyed.
WWE Diva Search contestant Taryn Terrell recently did an interview where she buried WWE Champion Randy Orton and former WWE Diva Stacy Keibler. She also said that there was one diva that she knew to stay away from, while she didn’t reveal her name, it is assumed to be Melina. Terrell said before she was eliminated that she would still work hard towards getting a job in WWE but after she was eliminated has not been heard from since.

How dare a DIVA SEARCH girl blast randy and even Melina.

I liked Lena because she actually wanted to wrestle and knew alot about the biz, though i didn't mind Jessica or Eve but Blonde Bimbo Brooke had print out cards off all the superstars since she had no idea who any one was other than candice.
But for one to BLAST the wwe champ is stupid, she wants a job, well the idoit won't get one blasting the superstars, smart move Taryn.

I wouldn't say they're sluts just because they were skimpy outfits, most divas do. Plus Candice came from the Diva Search so once in a while it can be worth it.
And to be honest it's only the girls opinion, just like we're making opinions here. But obviously as she's trying to get a job in the WWE it's not exactly a smart move.

Got tickets for Mania!! Pretty good seats too, right near the rampway so will be close to the wrestlers coming down to the ring. Here's the seating plan. I'm in Section 16! Can't wait!
http://i15.tinypic.com/6azrclw.png
Just found out that we have two extra tickets! My Mum ordered them you see while I was at Uni and she just kept selecting Best Available (but she didn't realise that they keep releasing more tickets every few minutes) so at first she bought two $90 tickets up in the 200 sections, but then she checked again a few minutes later and the section 16 seats were available and she said she couldn't let them go so she bought them. So we now have two $90 seats spare.

You'll love it though, there's nothing quite like being at Mania, I've been to WWE events in the UK in the past and they have been great but nothing compares to the atmosphere of being live at a Mania, especially in Chicago the crowd was amazing. In a way I'm quite glad I didn't go to Mania 23 and am going to 24 instead because I was disappointed with this years Mania, it looked amazing, the arena was huge and it looked great on TV but I felt the matches weren't that great.

Yeah but WWE do pressure them to build up, I can see why some wrestlers (especially guys not in the main event) would use drugs to build up. Apparently one of the reasons Jericho has been kept off TV for the moment is because he's lost a fair bit of weight since he was last on WWE tv, and the WWE want him to build up some more.

I cant see HBK winning the title off Randy, he doesnt need it. What HBK needs to do is give Randy the match of his life and make him look like the champion he is. theres no one better at making someone look good than HBK. Also, when Randy won the title in 2004 they just had him lose it to HHH after a few months which was crap. This time round they need to let Randy have a decent run with it, even if its just til wrestlemania.

The raw rating went up this week, It was 3.8 i think, Mainly due to Stone Cold and DX and People watching to see Chris Jericho possibly return.
They are releasing a Save us Tee and it comes out on the 19th November so that might indicate Mr. Jericho isn't coming back until after that date.

Recap on documentary on CNN
By: Bryan Randles
The one-hour documentary of sorts opens with the narrator talking about Chris Benoit. The murder, how he had the body of an Adonis, and how he was spinning into depression. We're introduced to Chris' father, Michael and his documentation that proves Chris' downfall. We see the journal Chris kept, and Michael talks about how the entries are letters to Eddie after he passed. Michael calls it the diary of Chris going mad.
They cut to shots of Chris, his wife Nancy and son, with shots of the taped off house mixed in. The narrator goes over some facts of the murder, back to Michael Benoit saying he feels responsibility, because he let his son chase his dream.
Now we get to see shots of WWE fans attending an event, while excited and saying Mark Henry sucks. The host mentions Raw and Smackdown are ratings giants. Also that WWE's PPV's brought in hundreds of millions in revenue each year.
A Dr. Pinkard says the amount of deaths in wrestling alarmed him. According to him one- fifth of those that have died under the age of 50, were from drug related causes. Chris Kanyon is now shown, and he admits to attempting suicide on September 14th, 2000.
The narrator mentions how the Benoit incident caught the attention of congress, and now it's a sit down moment with Vince McMahon, alongside Linda. Vince says, "they had nothing to do with it. How did we know he'd turn into a monster?"
Commercial.
When they come back they make mention of WWE's special tribute to Chris on Raw the night he had passed. Somewhat shoddy reporting here, as they say that night WWE knew nothing of what happened until the next day, when reports of what actually took place were coming out as Raw was airing. Than they show Vince taking back, but not taking back the tribute from his message the next night on ECW.
Now the Patriot, Del Wilkes, is talking about his steroid abuse and Vince, saying he "liked the big guys."
A man who used to work for WWE in the early 90's, who wants to remain anonymous is than interviewed. He really wanted to hide his identity, as he was completely shadowed, wearing a hood over his head, plus a hat, and had the voice altering. Let the speculation begin. He mentioned how Vince changed the business, before him the wrestlers looked like your uncle, and now they were huge. This is when the whispers of steroid abuse began.
They move to 1994 and the McMahon trial. They mention Hulk Hogan as the key witness, and him admitting he did steroids, and Vince did as well. Hulk estimated that 80% of the WWF wrestlers were on the juice. McMahon was acquitted though, but he did admit to steroid abuse, and than launching WWE's first attempt at a wellness policy.
Now the mention of the rise of Ted Turner's WCW. They talk to Bischoff of who basically just explains that from '96 to the middle of '98 they were on top. After that McMahon took back over, eventually purchased WCW and become the "Lord of all wrestling."
Back to the sit down with Vince and Linda, the interviewer asks if Vince likes big guys. Vince wiggles around the question, and than claims the WWE roster is lighter than ever.
They cut to clips of Batista and Cena.
Irv Muchnik is than questioned on his thoughts. He said, "wrestlers copy other wrestlers." He says theirs only so many top spots available, and those are the only guys really making enough money.
Now Jericho says wrestling has a "stereotypical image" of being all big huge guys. That smaller guys have made it to the top before.
Commercial.
Now it's back to Michael Benoit, showing pictures of Chris at 15 years old. He talks about how Chris always lifted weights and since 13 he wanted to be a wrestler. Michael talks about how he got Chris a weight set for Christmas and that looking back it was the biggest mistake he ever made.
Than they talk about Chris' hero the Dynamite Kid. Michael Benoit than mentions letting Chris idolize him may have been an even bigger mistake.
They than interview the ex-wife of Dynamite, who was abused by him, and she blames the steroids. She talks about his use, and how the bigger he got, the more fame that came with it. Than how his steroid abuse lead to injuries, which lead to painkillers and alcohol. She tells a story of Dynamite dragging her by the hair, and putting a gun to her head. She said she didn't know how to escape it all, and actually was going to kill her kids, and herself. The only reason she couldn't bring herself to do it is, because she couldn't be sure they'd all die. She actually never told her children this, but did the night before the interview, knowing they'd see her admit it on this show. She told the interviewer that they understood.
Now an interview with the Dynamite Kid who is now confined to a wheelchair, living in public housing, complete with a pin literally sticking out of his toe. He blames wrestling for his current state of health. He talks about a drug overdose saving his life, because it led doctors to finding he had an enlarged heart from the steroid abuse. The doctors told him he'd die if he didn't stop, so he did. He says McMahon encouraged guys to be bigger. In an odd moment of delusion, Dynamite says he wasn't violent, but admitted to putting a shotgun to his ex-wife's chin. He also admitted that steroids could make you aggressive, but not kill your wife or kid.
Commercial.
Now they turn the attention to concussions, with clips of the news conference from September of Benoit's brain tissue results. The announcement of Benoit having the brain of an elderly Alzheimer's patient, from multiple undiagnosed concussions, and that being enough to explain Benoit's behavior.
Chris Kanyon talks about how Benoit would take abuse out of his love for the show.
They play several clips of Benoit doing the flying head-butt.
The sit down with McMahon reemerges, with Vince saying they haven't studied the reports. He mentions they have cut back on chair shots to the head. Vince says he can't help what accidents happen in the ring. He than questions the facts of the report, and questioning him on these things, after the fact. Vince doesn't think concussions did this and wonders if Benoit had the brain of an 85-year-old with dementia, how did he function and get on an airplane?
Commercial.
Now the focus turns back to Eddie Guerrero's death, and the installment of a new wellness policy. Vince says the last time they had a policy they couldn't afford it, but now they can. He recreated it, because he wanted to, not because of outside pressure.
Dr. Waddler, who was a witness for the prosecution during the '94 trail of McMahon is convinced wrestlers are still on the steroids and calls their current policy a joke.
A Dr. Tygert, who runs the testing for the Olympics also considers it a joke, mentioning the loophole that if you have prescription for the stuff it's ok.
They than talk to Dr Black, who is involved with WWE's current policy and talks about the risk of getting involved if WWE wasn't serious. He claims Vince is serious, and said they're working on making the wrestlers healthier.
Super Anonymous man from earlier says after the first policy, when the guys got smaller, the business suffered.
Now the focus turns to CM Punk and his straightedge lifestyle. The host says he stands out in this business because of it, and asks Punk if he thinks that's why he's a champion? CM Punk basically admits he thinks he's where he is in WWE now, because of his gimmick.
Now John Cena is asked about taking steroids. He actually went on a going nowhere rambling expedition, than said, "I can't say I never did them, but you can never prove I did."
Back to Vince, who is asked if he is confident of WWE being clean now. Vince says no company or organization can say there are 100% positive they are completely clean.
They mentioned Vince's institution of paid rehab to former employees and now tighter testing.
Vince is asked if it's hard to hear about wrestlers dying young and he says he's not responsible for the actions someone takes in their life.
They close with Michael Benoit saying it's too late for Chris, but theirs time to do something for the future.
Overall: A pretty decent recap of everything most fans have probably already read about or heard. The Dynamite Kid segment was rough to watch as a fan of wrestling. The other new thing that will stand out in my mind is Cena's awful reaction to a question he had to know was coming. I don't think Vince would allow Cena to appear, only to have him admitting to taking steroids, than throwing in you can't prove I did? Decent and worthwhile to watch if you recorded it or they replay it.
Nice sidestepping by Cena on the steroid issue

Micheal Benoit is crazy, if Chris wanted to go after his dream, then it's not a mistake to let him, even if it did end like it did.
And Cena's comment. LOL. :laugh2:

I read that, and cenas comment was just to funny.
Wrestlezone said this
After reviewing the CNN Documentary on Pro Wrestling from last night, quite a shocking quote from John Cena has came to light. When asked if he had ever taken steroids he responded "I can't tell you that I haven't, but you'll never be able to prove that I have."
You may remember Cena on Larry King Live following the Benoit tragedy defending himself and the business. He is seen as somewhat of a poster boy for naturally good "genetics," but this quote seems to question that a little.
Maybe he didn't mean anything by it, but it was quite a confusing set of words and of course producers can take things out of context. Who knows?

So you're sticking up for the media?!!
Not matter how much you don't like Cena, his words shouldn't be edited to that degree (CNN have re-edited now anyway, on it's third airing last night it showed Cena saying "Absolutely not"). I for one believe Cena when he says he's never taken steroids, some guys just don't need them, they work out and they build muscles that way.
Anyway up to Chapter 23 in Jericho's book and it's brilliant! I can't put it down, it's very funny, very honest and his stories are just great. Definitely worth getting if you haven't already.

I think he's taken them at some point, when he first debuted his arms were quite a bit smaller than what they are these days.He seemed to get quite a bit bigger over a couple of months and stayed that way.

Its nothing to do with disliking Cena, I think hes OK, Im just saying, everyone knows how the media works and Cena shouldnt say stupid sentances that can be used as sound bites that make him look like an idiot. If he wants to do interviews trying to cover Vince McMahons arse then he should be prepared to take the backlash.
For the record, if Cena says he doesnt do them, I believe him, but most the other wrestlers use them (bar CM Punk).

Seems there was a argument at the SD tapings and Morrison and JBL got into a confrontation.
Source: PWInsider.com
A fight broke out backstage last night in Wichita, Kansas after SmackDown! was taped. After the show was over, JBL gathered a number of WWE superstars together, including John Morrison, The Miz, MVP, CM Punk, and Matt Hardy.
JBL berated Miz and Morrison for their color commentary work on ECW. JBL was furious that the two made Punk look bad with their commentary. They were heels and were supposed to criticize Punk in a heel way, but JBL felt they went too far with it. JBL then yelled at them for their ring work during their match with MVP & Matt Hardy. JBL told Miz & Morrison to apologize to Punk, MVP & Hardy for making all 3 of them look bad.
The Miz apologized, but Morrison told JBL “***** you, it's none of your business”. He then said he would apologize to Punk, Hardy & MVP, but not because JBL told him to.
The confrontation went back and forth until Morrison shoved JBL. Several agents broke up the dispute before it got further than a shove.

I wonder if the chainsaw will actually come into play? Maybe Edge will saw into the cell to break his way in.
Finished Jericho's book, it was awesome, I'm even more pumped for his return now, can't wait! I was never a big WCW fan, I knew the backstage politics were bad but Jericho really gives a great insight to it all in his book. I had no idea Jericho basically took control of his own character, made up all his own gimmicks, catchphrases and angles and most of the time didn't even get permission to do them because he was just ignored, because he was a cruiserweight and to be a cruiserweight in WCW you might as well have signed your own death certificate. WCW was only concerned with the NWO, so Jericho really worked on his character and got himself over with the fans all by himself and I think that pissed off some of the guys in WCW.
Been working my way through the Jericho in WCW videos on Youtube as well:

Yeah that's the only problem. The way I would maybe do it is to have a part of the cage that is already loose (except it doesn't look that way to the viewer). So Edge has a specific part to target with the chainsaw and can fake cutting through it. Would mean less sparks hopefully.

DreadPirate

Yeah, Orton ~ Michaels should be MOTY quality. The scene is set for it.
(I still think HBK will kick him instinctively. Even Randy called it on Raw)
Sarah.
18-11-2007, 03:29 PM
I don't really like paying for PPVs lol. Unless it's something i REALLY want to see, like Orton winning the title, and I buy WM every year. That's about it.
I'm not a huge fan of the HBK/Orton feud, I'm sure it'll be a good match, I just don't want to see a Sharpshooter or anything to do with what happened 10 years ago, Shawn mentioned it on Raw. Orton better not get screwed lol
But yeah, I'll just download it. Torrents are great stuff.
I reckon there's going to be a swerve and it'll be HBK getting screwed this time around, obviously this time it'll be planned.
I might order SS but I'm not too happy at the distinct lack of traditional survivor series matches.

Just thought of a great swerve for SS tonight, marking the 10th anniversary of the Montreal screwjob, Vince should screw Orton out of the title and align himself with HBK! Raw needs another top heel and turning Michaels heel would definitely freshen up his character and also give Jericho someone to feud with.

Thought Survivor Series was a great PPV, once again SS doesn't disappoint. The ECW title match was a great opener, all three of those guys impressed me. Even the ten divas tag match was good with even people like Kelly Kelly, Layla and Maria pulling off some decent moves.
Survivor Series elimination match, Orton/Michaels and the Hell In A Cell were all fantastic. Kind of glad Orton got the clean win, although he did once again get superkicked at the end so it made it seem like Orton only won because HBK couldn't use the superkick.
Great PPV though and roll on Raw and roll on Jericho!

Did Michaels put Orton in the crossface? I'm kinda surprised. and the Sharpshooter?
Redmond
19-11-2007, 03:13 PM
Yeah, sharpshooter, crossface and ankle lock, was good to see all those submissions. Shawn looked like his was about to win and then went for the superkick but hesitated and stopped himself, but then Orton hit him with the RKO and got the win. Then Orton after the match picked HBK up and put him in the corner of the ring and start saying stuff like "I'm the best, I beat you!" etc and he turned to get his belt then HBK gave him some Sweet Chin Music.
Ruth*Star
19-11-2007, 03:26 PM
I Guess its wwe's way of distancing the Crossface away from Benoit because really it wasn't his, it was Dean's before that.
I like that he used the Sharpshooter though, I'd rather of Randy just left celebrating than getting SCM but oh well, hes still champ.
Who do you think will be the Contender now? I think Jeff or Chris.

19-11-2007, 06:13 PM
I'm still hoping for Orton to come out bragging about winning and stuff and then I want the lights to go out and then the countdown to begin (Orton being in The Rocks position when Y2J debuted) and then Jericho appears and they start a feud and I am a very happy bunny =]

I can't wait either, i wonder what his finisher is going to be, i wonder who he'll face first, hope its randy, that'd be a good match, and i liked what he wore though i prefere him with longer hair, just suits him more.
One other thing I loved about this weeks RAW and that was Orton just randomly RKOing people, reminded me of Austin.
Sarah.
21-11-2007, 05:22 PM
Yeah, that was a nice touch, it kind of reminded me of the RNN updates for some reason, like just randomly interupting to see his progress, lol.
And Jericho, Camp? Even so, it was still awesome!
Think he is camp now?

See thats what I mean! He always used to be so butch!
Matt Hardy underwent emergency surgery last night.
“I will be here in the hospital until the antibiotics clean the rest of the toxins from my body, and then from there it will be anywhere from 8-10 weeks before I get back into action,” Hardy explained.

Thats a damn shame. Bang in the middle of a great storyline. Looks like MVP Vs. Hardy is set for Mania then :conf2:.

I know, its a shame, though having that match at wrestlemania would be better for the fued, end it for a while, and bring it back up again somehow.
And i can't get over how funny Chris' hair looks on that picture.
Started officialy collecting wrestling figures today. Got an ECW Taz figure. Nifty job. Im bored of collecting DVD's and VHS tapes. I got pretty much all I wanted out of that. Onto something more childish!!!

Today I met Mick Foley
Redmond
24-11-2007, 06:34 PM
Really? Where at?
Also back on to the Hardy/MVP stuff, there's talk of putting MVP into a short feud with Jeff until Matt returns. That would be a great move I think as it would keep the feud with Matt in peoples minds. Also it's better than sticking Jeff into a feud with Snitsky which is the current plan.
Sarah.
24-11-2007, 06:45 PM
Memorabilia show at the NEC in Birmingham. Bought loads wrestlin' stuff too. it was great.
Snitsky sucksss, he doesn't deserve a push or anything at all. Those promo's he does about pain being his pleasure annoys me.
Ruth*Star
24-11-2007, 08:06 PM
Oh cool, what was Mick like? and I'd rather see a MVP and Jeff fued than seeing Snitsky on tv, he was good for the Lita baby storyline but hes good for nothing now, i wish they'd just release him.
Sarah.
24-11-2007, 08:09 PM
He wasn't very interesting, he said hi, and thanks for coming and that was it  he was nice to some others, like he was looking through what they had bought and stuff lol. And then he did a Q&A session but I only caught like 5 minutes of it. Mr Socko was there too lmao.

Y2J back in the ring, i see? Was RAW good?

I haven't seen it yet, i'll watch when i come home from school, but i read he has a new finisher called the codebreaker.
Sarah.
27-11-2007, 06:00 PM
Lmfao, Jericho/Santino was so funny.
And Y2J's new finisher... I don't really like it ..
And why is Randy losing to a 60 year old man?
lmao at the "visual aids" for Randy. me.want.title.match.

Raw was amazing, though i'm not keen on the new finisher, i'd rather see the walls of jericho, and Santino and Jericho are so funny together, i hope to see more of them together, i guess the reason randy lost is because of the storyline flairs in, he can't lose really.
Redmond
27-11-2007, 09:44 PM
I like the new finisher, trust me he'll still be using the Walls of Jericho and the lionsault and I expect he'll be using them against Orton at Armageddon. The segment with Santino was great.
The Flair storyline was set up pretty good I thought, he's meant to be retiring at Mania so I expect him to keep winning right up until then. Not sure who is last big match at Mania should be with though, HBK would be good, as would Triple H.
Flair and Michaels would be a dream match at mania. They have only previously had a PPV match at Bad Blood 2003 and that match was underhyped and not given enough time.
If Flair is up for it , and im sure he could pull it off , a one hour iron man match would be the perfect way to send him off , with the horsemen in his corner.
Raw was pretty good this week. The feud between Jericho and Orton is going as well expected and the match at Armageddon should be great.
Kennedy and HBK is another good feud at the moment. All those jobbers dressed up as people from HBK's past was funny.Where was Sid though?
Hogan,Austin,Trish,Foley and Bischoff all on raw next week then. Most likely it wont just be them.Anyone we would like to see in particular?
APA reunion to help Hornswoggle win, all I can say is.........DAMN!
Ruth*Star
04-12-2007, 03:31 PM
Trish? if shes there, Lita better be there...well i hope she is...anyways i haven't had chance to see raw yet but APA getting back together sounds pretty good to me.
Sarah.
04-12-2007, 05:28 PM
I haven't seen Raw yet either but damnnn I have seen the pictures. This feud is awesome between RKO and Y2J.. i love it. I think i might buy Armageddon.
And I can't wait to see Trish next week =D I really want Rockk to come back next week, heh.

GET IN!!!! I loved them, they were around when i started watching....This is just amazing. WWe are really pushing out the boat for this.
Oh and Both Trish and Lita will be on raw, Trish was removed and put back on for some weird reason.
Sunny's going to be on too.
Redmond

There's rumours of Bret Hart also been there but they are keeping it as a surprise for the night, which is what they were suppose to be doing with Tammy Lynn Sytch but they've announced her now anyway.
I wanted The Rock to be there but he turned down the offer.
Also Jeff Hardy vs Carlito in a Ladder Match for the IC Title! That should be an awesome match.
WWE are really pulling out all the stops, let's just hope the crowd are good this week because for the past month or so the crowds have been weak.
Also I wonder if the Evolution return is going to set up the rumoured Batista/Triple H match for Mania. I hate the rumour, which is that Triple H will beat Hardy at Armageddon and earn a WWE Title shot at Royal Rumble and beat Orton. Batista will then win the Rumble and challenge Triple H for the WWE Title at Mania. It sounds a really bad idea because it's the same build up and match as Mania 21. Hope it isn't true.
EDIT: They've just added a Battle Royal to Raw, featuring wrestlers from the past 15 years on Raw!!

Just read this as well:
Chris Jericho's feud with Randy Orton looks to be a short one as it should be over soon. He may move on to a "war of words" feud with JBL, cultimating in a match at WrestleMania. Some people within WWE are already disappointed with Jericho's mic work, in-ring work and mild crowd reaction. Jericho was never expected to get a long period of grace, but the tide has turned against him fairly quickly.
It's hard to disagree really, as much as I like Jericho his mic work's been no where near as good as it use to be and the Orton feud has fell pretty flat with the crowd not really getting involved in it. It will be quite bad on Raw next week when we see Hogan, Austin and maybe even Trish Stratus getting bigger pops than Jericho on his return after 2 years.
Sarah.
07-12-2007, 07:49 PM
The crowds suck, not Jericho. They're just in the crap places in the USA right now.
Would it be on RAW or SD, if the "war of words" did go ahead?
I suppose HHH is going to beat Hardy next Sunday . . . and yay, we get to see another burying Orton storyline by the "god", triple h.

08-12-2007, 03:34 PM
Is anyone else totally disinterested in another Batista/Triple match for the title at Mania? I just don't see the appeal whatsoever, but apparently the storyline is going to get started on Monday during this Evolution reunion angle.
In other news looks like Carlito is staying with the WWE, Vince convinced him to stay, probably why he's getting an IC title shot on Raw in the ladder match.
Sarah.
08-12-2007, 04:16 PM
I don't like Batista at all, so pretty much anything he is involved in, I have no interest in. I really hope Edge wins the title, he deserves it, even more than Taker.
Ruth*Star
08-12-2007, 04:31 PM
Sarah is that Chris in your avatar?
Anyways i see Carlito becoming ic champ on raw, that's probably a way of getting him to stay, i like that because Carlito is staying, good move though i like Jeff as ic champ.
Redmond

I think the plan right now is for Edge to win the title and for the longly awaited Undertaker vs Edge match to take place at Mania, Undefeated Streak vs World Title. Of course Edge has also never been pinned or tapped out at Mania, the only match he lost was last years MITB because of an injury. So I really want to see that match.
I'd much prefer Triple H to wrestle someone like Jericho at Mania or how about Triple H vs Mysterio that's a combination that we haven't seen much of.
Also turn Jericho heel please! He excels at playing a heel character, everything about him just improves.
Sarah.
08-12-2007, 04:42 PM
I think it's Chris . . I found it ages ago so I'm not sure.
I agree about turning Jericho heel, he'd be awesome, and I think throwing him into competing for the WWE title wasn't a great move, but then again, I really like the Orton/Jericho feud, even if it is going to be short lived.
Maybe Carlito wins the IC title, Hardy wins the match at Armageddon, Randy retains, HHH feuds with Y2J, Hardy feuds with Orton . . although I don't see HHH losing to Jeff.
Ruth*Star
09-12-2007, 05:34 PM
Yeah, putting him straight into the title picture was a bad move, if they had just waited, and had him feud with Santino or someone, then the fans would be more responsive.
I'd rather have seen the Randy/Jericho feud at WM, instead we are getting a inevitable Batista/HHH match :(, though I'd like it if HBK turned heel and screwed HHH out of a match, that would be enough for me to mark out.
I kinda see Jeff winning at Armageddon because he has fan support, though due to the rubbish crowds this past few weeks, the pops have been a bit low.
Orton and Hardy feud would be fresh which people really haven't seen and Jeff gets a high tier feud which would be good for him in the long run IMO.
HHH after losing could go with Chris, that would be a good fued, just need Chris Heel, he plays a heel better than a face really.
HBK with Kennedy I'd like to on past Armageddon, a long thought out freud would be good.

I'd much prefer your ideas, but it seems WWE are intent on another Triple H/Batista feud going into Mania. We'll see how it starts on Raw tomorrow with the Evolution angle.

I dunno what to think of Raw last night. It felt really rushed to me, HHH and Hornswoggle were on too much lol.
I was really shocked to see RVD back! That was the best part of the night for me, wooo (:
Rated RKO reunion, didn't expect that, Evolution reunion sucked. Jericho putting Orton in the Walls of Jericho, I wanted that to be kept until Armageddon but i'm pretty sure Orton will retain now.
Jeff vs Carlito was a great match and I quite enjoyed it.
Hulk still sucks, Bischoff is an assclown and the more times Austin comes back, the less "exciting" it is.
Lita and Kane backstage was funny, and it was great to see Trish and Lita back.

I loved last night's show. It was a nostalgia show but it was pulled off just right. Lots of great moments, loved watching all the old flashbacks, some great moments that I'd forgotten (Edge & Christian singing Triple H's theme music) and some bad moments that I didn't want to be reminded of (Mae Young giving birth to a hand!). There was also some surprises that I wasn't expecting, RVD making an appearance I didn't know was going to happen and it was ace. Wasn't expecting to see Steve Blackman and Gangrel either!
The Triple H and Stephanie kiss was brilliant, think that got one of the biggest pops of the night. The Trish & Lita segment was fun, as was Kane and Lita backstage. Although we've seen the Austin/Vince segments so many times they don't really get old and Austin lying down next to Vince was hilarious. The Rated RKO reunion was a nice touch. The ladder match was great and I also think that Jeff will be beating Triple H at Armageddon this Sunday.
I'm also glad that nothing happened between Batista and Triple H, so it looks like that planned feud was just a rumour after all.
And last but not least, Sunny is still beautiful, WWE should sign her back full-time!
WWE ought to re-sign Sunny and Ted DeBiase as managers, hardly anyone can cut a decent promo these days and those are great at them.

It appears as if Tammy "Sunny" Sytch may have a chance at getting a job with WWE after her appearance on the RAW Anniversary show last Monday. WWE's Johnny Ace asked Tammy for her contact information at the show and officials talked with her about doing some segments for WWE's 24/7 service. It's unknown at this time if WWE would like to bring her back as a member of the main roster.
Hope this is true!

Armageddon, should I order it? =\ I really want to see Orton vs Y2J and the triple threat match along with the Womens title match . . idk whether to buy it and watch it tomorrow.
Ruth*Star
16-12-2007, 07:55 PM
I'm gonna watch it on Daily Motion, since i haven't got the money to order it sadly, though i want to watch the womens, the Hbk/Kennedy match, The WWE and WHC title matches aswell, they are gonna be so good.
Sarah.
16-12-2007, 08:00 PM
Yeah i was thinking to just watch them online, but i like to keep PPV's for some reason so i can watch them on my own TV, so i've just decided i am going to order it, lol.
Everyone will just have to have cheaper xmas gifts this year!
Redmond
16-12-2007, 08:04 PM
I'd order it if I was you, it seems to have one of the best cards for a long time.
I'm looking forward to most of the matches, especially Orton vs Jericho, Triple H vs Jeff Hardy, Kennedy vs HBK and Edge vs Batista vs Taker. That's the first time in ages that a PPV has had four really strong main event caliber matches.
Sarah.
16-12-2007, 08:08 PM
Yeah I have ordered it now. Main reason is 2 of my favourite wrestlers in a match against eachother, it's going to be awesome!
I want these to win tonight;
Orton, Edge, Mickie, Jeff Hardy, MVP, Finlay, Kennedy.
i think that's all??
Sarah.
17-12-2007, 07:45 PM
Finished watching Armageddon, I really did enjoy, most of the matches I really enjoyed and I think it was worth my money. lol.
MVP vs Rey was one of my favourites, they put on a great show and classic MVP leaving the ring and refusing to fight, Rey did great.
The ECW match I didn't really watch, pretty pointless, even it being CM Punk in the match, it still wasn't great, and I hope Punk is booked better in future.
Finlay vs Khali was funny, Finlays getting a lot of wins lately =]
HHH vs Jeff - my favourite match, I am SO happy Jeff won =D He totally deserves to face Randy for the title at the RR. Really enjoyable match.
Mickie vs Beth i was a little disappointed with =\ I wanted Mickie to win. I had high expectations for this match, the 2 best divas in the company, but it wasn't amazing.
Kennedy vs HBK, quite good, kind of enjoyed this, wanted Kennedy to win but they both did great and Kennedy did some good selling of his hand in that match.
Y2J vs Orton - Guess the JBL/Y2J is going to happen then. I could kinda see it coming, Orton wasn't exactly going to lose, and neither was Jericho, vowing to save us. I really want a rematch, but a triple threat at the RR. Who knows... Anyways my 2nd favourite match, really enjoyed it and that RKO was awesome!!
And finally Edge is the champ again =D  I'm so happy he won and now we can have a great feud (hopefully) between Taker and Edge, leading up to WM, streak vs streak?
Overall a decent PPV and I'm interested in what's going to happen on RAW and SD this week.

The Edge impersonators were the Major Brothers, apparently they'll be helping out Edge a lot now...which is a good move for them I think, will give them a decent push and help them get over.
Glad that Edge won the title and I'm glad that Hardy beat Triple H, that was the match of the night.
I guess the Major Brothers will be very much like Haas and Benjamin when they were part of team Angle. It's a good way of getting them over.

and i know this isn't to do with wrestling exactly but;
"Thought I'd email and let you know WWE champion Randy Orton was briefly on KDSK 5 news this morning via phone and they showed various footage of him on Raw mainly from the past year. He was on to plug the Tribute to the Troops special and mentioned how WWE does it every year and it was a blast to go over there and pay tribute. It was very brief, the interviewer then asked Randy his plans for the holiday. He said he was going to spend it with his family and he had just found out that his wife is expecting their first child so it was going to be extra special. The interviewer ended by saying congratulations and Merry Christmas and Randy said Merry Christmas too.
