Watching the Ellie Nesler story. True story of a mum that made national headlines when she walked into a court room during a trial and shot the man that molested her 6 yr old 5 times in the head. She served 3 years of a 10 year sentence but returned later for 3 more years for drug charged. The sadder thing is her son never recovered from the tragedy. He was in and out of prison a lot, and right now I believe he's still a fugitive after stomping a man to death. Sad.
Oh yeah and the mum died of cancer in 2008. :(
These people were on Oprah.

Green Lantern - 3/10. Enjoyable enough but a bit crap. Ryan Reynolds is a really weird choice for a superhero aswell.

The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo - 8.5/10. Really different to what I was expecting, didn't expect it to be anywhere near as dark as it was. Can't wait years for the sequel so will just have to watch the foreign versions in the meantime.

Targets - 6/10. A good film let down by a stupid ending. All the shooting scenes were brilliant though.

The Dark Knight Rises - 9/10. Pretty much the perfect ending, and Bane came close to topping The Joker as the best villain of the three films. A shame that this is the end of these versions as the inevitable reboot in 10 years time won't be anywhere near as good.

Immortals - 7/10 - no where near the Standards of 300 as you'd expect but still pretty good and much better then i was expecting, the main negative was Henry Cavill playing Theseus he was to boring and his battle speech was awful, Micky Rourke and Joseph Morgan were amazing though

It was pretty good, I was expecting it to be something futuristic from the poster I seen of it. But it's a cop movie, and it's not that bad. I found out after I watched it that the main character Alex Cross is meant to be the same guy from Kiss The Girls and Along Came A Spider

Velvet Goldmine - I can kinda see why Bowie didn't approve of the script and refused to allow his name/songs used... it basically portrays him as a gay loser. The music is reduced to quite camp pop songs, and doesn't do him an ounce of justice. That said, Christian Bale, Jonathan Rhys Meyer and Ewan McGregor going gay? Why not. 4/10

The Dark Knight Rises - FINALLY got round to seeing it, housemate bought it today  it. is. perfect. Even better than TDK in my opinion. 10/10.

Prefer the movie Michael Caine made in the 80s.
Depp's performance is good and I was very surprised to see Joanna Page in it and playing a part I'd never have imagined her playing. Her final scenes were quite creepy. I enjoyed spotting familiar faces in it more than the film itself.

But the film is quite bland TBH and Heather Graham spoiled it. Why they didn't just cast a British girl I don't know.

Actually pretty good tbh. Definitely the best Twilight film. Had one of the best action scenes I've seen in a while.

Terribly boring. Unimpressed by Studio Ghibli. Nowhere near as good as Pixar based on the films I've seen.

Deadfall - 2012 - great film good story and looks fantastic would of liked the ending to be different but otherwise a great movie

Forgot to give it a score..7/10 I'd go for..the vampires were terrible, should have had actual actors in prosphetics, think they just used CGI for the sake of it. Looked like someone had plonked video game characters into a film

and the Alternate ending kicks the actual endings ass, should have went with that now that they're going ahead with a sequel

The Perks of Being a Wallflower - 7/10. I liked the first half of it a lot more than the second half, still really good though. The main guy in it was a really good actor, you feel awkward just watching him for the first half hour or so when he is a really weird kid.

End of Watch - 8/10. This was really close to getting a 10/10, can't really say why it didn't because it would spoil the whole film but anyone that has seen it will know why.. It would have been a lot more powerful if things had happened the way they originally appeared to have. Michael Pena was really good in it, even better than Jake Gyllenhaal.

Pitch Perfect.

It was good for what it was - a predictable indie comedy - but I do wish comedies would stop making in-jokes about how movies are predictable as if some excuse to pursue the obvious story. Oh and I also wish that movies which look back to the 80s would look beyond The Breakfast Club, and in particular, the Simple Minds (Don't You Forget About Me) song... I do love them both, but Easy A's done it recently.

I'd give it an 8/10 though, the music's enjoyable and the cast is great.

Friends With Benefits - 6.2/10 - A little bit better than No Strings Attached, although they are pretty much the exact same film don't see why they both needed to be made at exactly the same time. Always get them mixed up aswell.

The New World - 8.5/10

The real story of Pocahontas. No silly singing trees or cartoon racoons. Have no idea why it is not a lot more popular it was really brilliant, one of the best films I've seen in a bit. Bit dodgy having a 14 year old play Pocahontas and having Christian Bale and Colin Farrell as her love interests but they managed to avoid anything too risky.

Young Adult - 5.5/10 - Found it hard to keep interested in it for the most part, the story was basically some divorced woman ( Charlize Theron ) trying to get back with her Ex boyfriend from back in the day but he has a wife and a child now and then there is some fat guy in the story as well who randomly shows up from time to time throughout the movie and Charlize Theron seems to get drunk an annoying amount of times in the movie, i can't really think of anything good or funny that happened apart from the unrealistic scene where the fat guy pulls her towards the end, suppose it wasn't awful but it was just really wasn't that interesting at all

Remember Me - 7/10

Really did not see that ending coming.. Probably the most surprising ending from a film I've ever seen. Was completely out of nowhere but I guess that's what makes it fit so well to that event. Have always just ignored any Robert Pattinson films because he's the guy from Twilight so I just classed him as some useless actor that is just famous because all the young girls fancy him, but he was actually really good in this, and Emilie De Ravin was great as always.

Green Hornet - 5/10. Pretty funny and had a decent storyline. Good to see Cutty from The Wire in another film aswell, he's doing alright for himself.

Young Adult - 6/10. Not all that much really happens but Charlize Theron's character keeps you interested and she was really good in the role, the fat guy was pretty good aswell.

Project X - 4/10. The three main characters were really unlikable and I think that ruined it a bit because the party scenes could have been really great.. Just replace them Jim, Stifler and Finch from the first American Pie film and you have yourself a great film. The supporting characters like the two security guards and the crazy neighbour made it worth sticking with though.

Liberal Arts - 6.5/10. Liked this a lot the storyline was pretty interesting and the situation played out quite realistically aswell. Elizabeth Olsen is a really good actress surprisingly I'm looking forward to watching her other film Martha Marcy May Marlene. Quite weird how Zac Efron is by far the most famous person in the film and had a really small role though.

The only reason I downloaded it was because I heard Emilie Autumn was in it, the movie is more like a play/musical, and it's based on three of aesop's fables. 7/10

Brave

not sure why it got such lukewarm reviews, I really enjoyed it. Not as amazing as the TS trilogy, Up, Finding Nemo or WALL-E but better than Ratatouille and Cars. 8/10.

Ocean Waves.

It was okay but it felt kind of pointless and the message it was putting across seemed kind of askewed. It's Studio Ghibli though and even when they're at their worst they're still ****ting on everything else.

The Hobbit
I only went to see it because my bf wanted to. I thought it was okay, but just way too long, I got quite bored after about 90 mins or so. Visuals were brilliant though. I liked Martin Freeman in the role of Bilbo Baggins too :)

Gingerdead Man 3: Saturday Night Cleaver (2011) - Basically had a budget of ten dollars I think, crap acting but pathetically funny at times 2/5

Keith - 8/10

Had no idea that Jesse McCartney had converted to acting but he was actually really good, reminded me a lot of DiCaprio in his earlier days. Wasn't expecting it to be that good after reading the imdb plot line but it is a pretty dark film really. I suggest you all go and watch it right now - http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0435679/

In fact that Article doesn't even explain the comparison between Jesse McCartney and Di Caprio.. so that's a bit of a silly title

Some middle age sex crazed woman and an MTV article that didn't explain any comparisons at all and the rest of the google results are probably just articles saying that they look like each other, time to give up

I thought that the US version was actually a better adaptation of the book surprisingly, the Swedish version was very good but I felt that it had pacing issues and that they changed things for no reason. Both films are excellent in the end.

I've yet to see Fire and Hornet's Nest though, I'll get round to it eventually.

I didn't watch the Swedish Girl with the Dragon Tattoo but I watched the second two films. I preferred the actress who played Lisbeth and the actor who played Mikael though in the Swedish versions

Moonrise Kingdom.

Was a bit of a typical Wes Anderson film... he's beginning to peddle his own cliches (kids acting adult, adults being stereotypes, quirky houses and belongings)... and it wasn't his best (The Royal Tennenbaums, obviously). But it got good towards the end. 7/10.
