Anyone see Bosingwa near the end, studs straight in Kuyts back? Terry, Lampard and Bosingwa facing suspensions I guess.

And by the time Liverpools youth have come through, Manchester Uniteds and Arsenals will have as well.

i thought it was a great match today. Quite entertaining. I was listening to it on my radio coz i dont have sky sports on my telly, and when gerrard got the yellow, the commentator said " stevies getting sent off! Thats a red for stevie" i was like what? so i legged it downstairs and asked my family if they had dodgy commentators and explained what happened.

Even though i'm a Liverpool fan, i thought it was slightly unfair that Lampard got sent off for something gerrard did similar earlier in the game.

Bosingwa kicking benayoun in the back was out of order imo. there was no need for it.

My mum was saying before the game that torres had to go coz he wasnt performing well enough but then when torres scored his first goal we all said "and you were saying he had to go"

So yeahh great result today :)

So many Liverpool fans on this forum.

I think we'll destroy Portsmouth on Saturday, can't really see them putting up much of a fight, and with Torres scoring again we hopefully won't have much of a problem finishing off our chances.

If keane does leave then we need a striker who can provide cover for Torres, and if the new striker scores goals then we can challenge Utd for the title. But if we sell Keane and don't sign a new striker than that just leaves Ngog (Benitez prefers Kuyt & Babel as wingers) and we won't challenge Utd. And if we keep Keane and he doesn't start scoring regularly then we won't challenge Utd.

Liverpool Football Club today confirmed Steven Gerrard suffered a tear to his left hamstring during Wednesday night's FA Cup defeat at Everton.

Gerrard limped out of the action just sixteen minutes into the fourth round replay at Goodison and now faces three weeks on the sidelines.

A club spokesman told Liverpoolfc.tv: "A scan today has confirmed a tear in the hamstring of Steven's left leg. He will be out of action for about three weeks."
