You play two games, one home and the other away, first game is the 1st leg and the 2nd game is the 2nd leg.. Agg means the total goals so far because you add the goals from the 1st game to the 2nd game.. So far its 3 - 0 but on agg its 4 - 0 coz the first game was 1 - 0 to Liverpool, hence it being 4 - 0 on agg so far..
Then we have away goals, the team thats score more away goals if its a draw wins, like if madrid score 4 goals to make it 4-4 then then win because of more away goals..
30stone
10-03-2009, 09:16 PM

Because they havent got many injured players now.
they did have 8 a couple of months ago, at least 5 first teamers.
Adebayor and Silvestre could be back next week
Faregas the week after
Rositsky the week after that.
With a bit of luck and tottenham beating Aston Villa Arsenal will go into top 4 and Stay there.

There's only 7 points between 18th place and 8th place. Any of the bottom 12 could go down this year.

Southend won again... that's both the back to back away games out of the way and we have all 6 points. Slowly we march up the table and we are now getting closer to the play-off spots again. Even the goal difference is looking better. It was just a shame our FA cup run got in the way when we got the replay against Chelsea it really upset the dynamics of the team.
Well done to the Blues for getting things back together.

STEVEN GERRARD and Xabi Alonso have been targeted by Real Madrid in a £100million swoop.
The Spanish giants made the first moves for the Kop pair after they were humiliated at Anfield on Tuesday.
The nine-time European Cup winners are ready to value Gerrard at £80m after his display in their 4-1 demolition.
A summer upheaval is on the cards at the Bernabeu with former president Florentino Perez ready to assume control in the club elections.
And he has already drawn up a short-list of targets to pin to his ballot paper.
Gerrard is top of that list and the president-elect also wants his Anfield midfield partner Alonso to join him in the Spanish capital.
The England midfielder’s outstanding two-goal display against Madrid in midweek prompted Real legend Zinedine Zidane to acclaim him the best player in the world.
Priority
Significantly, Zidane is in line to become Real’s sporting director under the Perez presidency, working alongside current AC Milan boss Carlo Ancelotti.
Any move for Gerrard looks certain to be resisted by Liverpool and the skipper is committed to finishing his career on Merseyside. But that won’t stop Madrid trying to prize him away for £80m if they sense his growing frustration with Liverpool’s ongoing internal squabbles and inability to end their title drought.
Ironically, Liverpool manager Rafa Benitez was believed to be the main target for Madrid but now it’s the Reds’ skipper who is their priority.
Gerrard has two years left on his Anfield deal and is due for renewed terms at the end of this season.
He has repeatedly made it clear he wants to stay at the club and complete his medal collection with an elusive Premier League title. But the club’s owners have also been consistently warned to end the in-fighting which has plagued Liverpool.
Gerrard has made no secret of his frustration with the public spats.
The Reds captain will turn 29 in May, ironically the same age as Zidane when he left Juventus for the Spanish capital.
Madrid will have high hopes of tempting midfielder Alonso back to Spain for £20m, especially as Benitez is expected to re-ignite his interest in Aston Villa’s Gareth Barry.
http://www.newsoftheworld.co.uk/sport/218370/REAL-MADRID-WANT-STEVEN-GERRARD-AND-XABI-ALONSO-Spanish-giants-set-for-pound100m-summer-swoop.html
Even if that offer is accepted (which I doubt it will be), they'll both reject the move.

Liverpool Football Club has paid tribute to its club secretary Bryce Morrison who has died.
The club's chief executive, Rick Parry, said everybody at the Anfield club was "shocked and saddened to hear of his untimely death".
"His dedication to and love for the club was apparent to all of those who worked alongside him," Mr Parry said.
There will be a minute's silence before Sunday's match against Aston Villa and as a mark of respect.
"Bryce gave 17 years' loyal service to Liverpool and was well known throughout football and will be sadly missed by his many friends within the game.
"This is a very sad day for Liverpool Football Club," Mr Parry added.

Aston Villa defender Luke Young admits his teammates have no idea how to cope with the threat of an in-form Fernando Torres.
The former Charlton and Middlesbrough full-back has been hugely impressed by El Nino's form following his injury troubles and feels he is capable of giving any defence in the world the runaround when he's in top gear.
"How do you look after Torres? I am not too sure," said Young.
"I think you've got to give yourself a headstart by 10 yards at least. He is a good player. I think Liverpool have missed him at times this year.
"When he plays, like you saw at the weekend, he is a real handful. Nemanja Vidic has been one of the best players in the Premier League this year and Torres gave him a little bit of a runaround. He is a good player.
"Even when they didn't have him, they were top of the league but any team that has got Torres in it is a better team."

Nice to see both Newcastle and Middlesbrough in the relegation zone. A nice threesome with Blackburn joining them would be fun, but oh well - I can't have it all.
Sunderland need a win tomorrow, though. Man City are a good team, so I'm not exactly holding my breath.

Man City just haven't gelled together this season, but I can see them finishing fifth next season if they manage to keep hold of the players they have now, and don't bring in too many new ones. Robinho will leave though, but that will probably have more of a positive effect on the team, as he hasn't performed as he should have done this season and he has wasted many chances.
I think I predicted a 2-1 for City in the prediction thread, but I wouldn't be surprised if Sunderland won 2-1 either.
