Chelsea should be scared, very scared with a full fit Liverpool team.. Plus with a bit of luck and a helpfull ref, win for Liverpool..
Oh we lost the first battle but now they will pay and will face the Might that is Liverpool, and we will crush them on the pitch and end this war in victory!
What Liverpool will do on tuesday will echo down the years as the Might of Raffa the Greats men.. LFC.
Locke.
12-04-2009, 01:25 AM
Oh yeah, on Setanta Sport News today (first time I've watched it- usually watch Sky Sports News) they were reporting that the referee was saying that he was told to go easy on Chelsea last wednesday.
And yeah Ben, I think Carragher should have got man of the match, he played great defensively and played in a big part in two of the goals.
andyman
12-04-2009, 01:32 AM
Fek! Corrupt refs against Liverpool!
Bet the tuesday ref will have a new car and bigger bank balanceski with cashski....
30stone
12-04-2009, 01:38 AM
He didnt only help with 2 goals, he cleared 2, 1 off the line and 1 that was going to go in...
I think fully fit chelsea matches liverpool.
And usually the refs go liverpools way...
30stone

30stone
12-04-2009, 04:04 PM
I hope there is 1 for fulham, scored by hangeland.

Locke.
12-04-2009, 04:06 PM
Konchesky given a yellow card
I wouldn't mind him scoring now, and Given making a few saves.
30stone
12-04-2009, 04:08 PM

Hope schwarzer has to make 25 saves.

30stone
12-04-2009, 06:30 PM
Agger played well
Hes been injured a lot this season right?
Locke.
12-04-2009, 06:34 PM
End of next season Agger's contract is up, but he will leave in the summer.... just hope if he does he signs for a foreign team and not an English one.
andyman
12-04-2009, 06:38 PM
He aint played as much but still worth to extend his contract.. He wants to stay with Liverpool, easy to know why... Great club, great team, great fans... Plus on the great team bit, Liverpool have fantastic team spirit and are in tune, not many teams play like that.
Arsenal did about 5 years ago, but them days have long gone.

We'll be signing a big named striker in the summer, that's for certain. We were linked with Saviola once Keane left on the last day of the transfer window, but we didn't sign him... wouldn't mind getting him in the summer as a back-up for Torres.

12-04-2009, 07:30 PM
Someone to take Kuyts place.
Locke.
12-04-2009, 07:35 PM
Kuyt is the best right-winger we've had since I've been interested in football, he just doesn't play well up front.... we need to keep him on the right.
Locke.
13-04-2009, 03:31 PM
Liverpool captain Steven Gerrard is winning his battle to be fit for the Champions League clash with Chelsea as he recovers from a groin injury.
The Reds will also have midfielder Javier Mascherano back from suspension.
Chelsea will be without centre-back and skipper John Terry, who is suspended after being booked during the Blues' 3-1 first-leg victory at Anfield.

Luton's relegation from the Football League was confirmed after they were held to a 0-0 draw by Chesterfield.
The result, coupled with Grimsby's win at Notts County, means that the Hatters cannot get out of the bottom two.
The Hatters made a brave attempt to remain in League Two, but a 30-point deduction for financial infringements proved too much to overcome.
Luton have been in the Football League for 89 years and won the League Cup in 1988, beating Arsenal in the final.

Rafa is going to risk Gerrard tomorrow, he said if he is injured he will only be out between 10-14 days, meaning he will only miss one match (Arsenal).

We are 3-1 down, Chelsea have 3 away goals and are playing at home.. I can see it now, Gerrard plays and half way he is in trouble, it's not worth the risk..
Or maybe this is just pre-match hype. If Gerrard does play then i hope it's worth it..

Arsenal are without gallas and dujoruou tho so their centre defence is looking weak.
they are going to be attacking for a win not just a 0 - 0 draw to go thru.

Its generally the fans.
Liverpool and Man u fans are terrible. How they talk about their team being best in the world how they wil always win.
How when they lose its always seems to be someone elses fault or how they deserved to win and the other team got lucky.
and all they wanna do is talk about their team and their players.

Yes i would love to see it, if we get to the final i think we can take it. Based on our current form.
Fabregas has said he wants to carry on not losing til the end of the season like the old team done unbeaten streak.
They all seem really fired up to do well in all competitions.
They have to play somthing like 7 games in 21 days though and the team is stretched as it is because Gallas and Dujoru not being able to play so no great central midfielers.
Hopefully beat chelsea in f.a cup.
Also Ballack should have scored there -.-

Yeah, but they are not trying to win the premiership. Just make sure they finish in the top 4. So depending on the situations, they caan rest players in the premiership games. I am tellin you, this is their championship year. And Adebayor is back, scoring goals at the right time.

Only the best English team deserves to win the champions league, and we're out, so that isn't possible. And the best Italian team are out, so the best Spanish team must win it now.

Torres done nothing this match, we should have put Babel up with him at the start.
But we got 4-4 at Stamford Bridge without our star player, so we can't really complain.

LOL! Thats fair enough.:spin2: Lets hope Arsnal wins then. We would both be happy!
I'm not as disappointed as I thought I'd be if we lost a few hours ago .
We came with the intention of scoring 3 goals at Stamford, and did one better. Chelsea were strong up front and unfortunatly counterfeited our offensive push.
About as entertaining match as you can hope for, we can go out with our heads held high!
Annoyed that as usual Drogba spent 5+ minutes on the floor. Maybe that's where Chelsea's advantage lies in all this... Every game get Drogba rolling around on the floor like a girl, by the end of the seaosn he has singly handidly used up 2 games worth of time
I'll be rooting Man U for the Champs League now, and hope they make one mistake on the league so Liverpool can capitalise on it.

The memorial service to mark the 20th anniversary of the Hillsborough disaster is available to watch for free on LFC TV and online right now.
Thousands of football fans have gathered at Anfield to pay their respects to those who lost their lives on that fateful day twenty years ago.

You can watch the service live on SKY channel 434, Virgin Media channel 544 or online on this website by clicking here>>
A new memorial banner will be unveiled during the commemoration and the Hillsborough Family Support Group's Trevor Hicks will be joined by the Lord Mayor of Liverpool, Councillor Steve Rotheram, in making an address.

The Freedom of the City honour will then be presented to a representative of each family by Steven Gerrard and Jamie Carragher before the Mayor and Liverpool manager Rafa Benitez will lay a scarf on the pitch and release 96 red balloons into the sky.

A two-minute silence will be observed at 3:06pm in Liverpool, Nottingham and Sheffield while public transport across Merseyside will also stop to observe the period of silence.

At 3:08pm, the bells of Liverpool's two cathedrals and civic buildings will ring 96 times and a candle will be lit in memory of each individual fan. The service will conclude with a performance of 'You'll Never Walk Alone' by Gerry Marsden.

Later, Cllr Rotheram will present individual scrolls to members of the 96 families before letters of support from the Queen and Prime Minister are read.

A Hillsborough remembrance book is available to sign at Liverpool Town Hall until Thursday.

Almunia
Gallas
Clichy
Djourou
Van Persie is possibly out to because he stuggled against Wigan.
Arshavin is cup tied.
5 First teamers. and Djourou who is gallas' replecement.
I hope they Can pull it off.

^^ Van Persie and Adebayor both start. Wenger said Arsenal are going for the win too, not a 0-0. Think Sagna is injured now too, he's been pulled from the starting 11 at the last minute.
