Melisandre sex scene :worship: Pretty certain that didn't happen in the books (neither did the end scene) but it is making it more interesting to watch anyway, better than knowing everything that is gonna happen. Surprised they still haven't showed Renly this season :suspect:

It was a good episode although I thought Theon's betrayal felt a bit too forced and unbelievable. I'd have found it easier to swallow if if happened later on and they gave us a reason why he'd do it because I doubt you'd really betray the family that raised you for a family that treats you like an outcast. Apart from that it was a good episode, Renly seems like a more interesting character and his wife seems like a good addition. The Arya scenes were very good, I was disapointed to see Yoren die and it'll be interesting to see how Arya and Chris from Skins manages to escape the Lannisters.

As for most attractive woman, Daenerys filmly holds on to that title :hmph:

It should really be 12 or 13 episodes long instead of 10, quite a lot of people have been complaining (mainly about the first 2 episodes) that each character is only getting a few minutes screen time. They seemed to sort that out in episode 3 though.

I thought it was okay, the Theon storyline is still pretty poor though as it just doesn't make much sense. 'Hey I'm Theon, I'm gonna betray the people who raised me for a pair of bastards that threw me away only to treat me like crap when I returned', it's senseless and rushed.

I'm starting to quite like Tywin, you get the feeling that he's just a determined person caught in a bad situation and he's just trying to make the best of it. The Harrenhall storyline is a lot more compelling then I thought it'd be.

I don't think it was the best episode so far but it wasn't bad, any episode in which Joffrey gets slapped can never be bad.

Best episode since Episode 9 of Season 1 easily. I have no idea what that ending is about though because there is nothing at all like that in the book.

The Theon stuff you're supposed to be confused about, because he is confused himself. You're supposed to view him as a stupid confused young lad, who is being led by the wrong people (notice that everything he has done so far hasn't been his own idea. First changing sides, then taking Winterfell, then killing Roderick.)

Just watching last weeks episode again before watching the new one, Alfie Allen (Theon) and the kid playing Bran were boss in that opening scene were Roderick is getting killed.

I think this was the best episode of the season so far. The one on one scenes were fantastic, I could literally watch an episode starring just Arya and Tywin or Cersei and Tyrion. Their scenes are always excellent. The Qarth storyline is finally getting pacier although King's betrayal was a little predictable. The Jon storyline looks like it'll finally start to get interesting soon as well.

The ending was brutal although I can already tell what's going to happen.

Theon let Bran and Rickon go and torched the two orphans instead to make it look like he killed the Starks. It'll be interesting where they go next with the two younger Starks.

It was probably the most chilling ending they've done though.

Agree with Dezzy, the one on one conversations are always good, quite like it when we get more of an insight into Cersei's character as well and they show a more interesting and conflicted side to her

The ending was brutal although I can already tell what's going to happen.

Theon let Bran and Rickon go and torched the two orphans instead to make it look like he killed the Starks. It'll be interesting where they go next with the two younger Starks.

It was probably the most chilling ending they've done though.

It was an amazing episode, possibly the best one they've done. The only bad thing I'll say about it is that it ended too suddenly, it just felt like Tywin and the Tyrell lad just appeared out of nowhere. I must say I found myself routing for the Lannisters. with the exception of Joffrey I think they're all pretty brilliant.

I'm interested to see where the next episode goes, I'm guessing Arya and Sansa will end up near or with Robb and it'll focus on them getting Winterfell back while Daenerys gets her dragons from the sorcerors.

If I remember right the battle ended in the books when Tyrion got hit, and we only heard of Tywin turning up to save the day in later chapters. Was expecting them to do the same here but thankfully they showed him turning up.
