I think Babel will start on Wednesday as a lone striker. Think Benitez will want Kuyt working down the right like he did in the first hour on saturday, and Ngog isn't good enough yet to play as a lone striker against Arsenal, so Babel would make more sense. Faster too so we can catch them on the counter attack... can see them having about 70-75% possession.

Torres is the best natural finisher..But he can get lazy, hes the type of player that can do bugger all, all game then get a hatrick..

Rooney is good he tracks back the best, strong and fast, but i think sometimes he is greedy and has a lot of terrible shots before he shoots.

Barcelona Deny Any Agreement To Sign Arsenal Skipper Cesc Fabregas
Catalans refute claims that midfielder is 'coming home' in summer...
Barcelona have today refuted reports in Spain that they have concluded a deal to sign Arsenal midfielder Cesc Fabregas in the summer.
A Spanish radio station had claimed that a deal was in place for the Catalan playmaker to return to his homeland in the summer.
However, Barcelona insist that no such negotations have taken place and that they are keen not to damage their excellent working relationship with the Gunners.
"Given the exceptional repercussions created by the stories that have appeared in different media with respect to an agreement with Arsenal FC player Cesc Fàbregas, FCB flatly denies that there have been any negotiations or agreements with the player," a statement on Barca's official website reads.

Arsene Wenger confirmed that Eduardo would miss Arsenal’s Premier League game against Liverpool on tonight.
“Eduardo will not be back for Liverpool, but he should be available for Porto.”
With Nicklas Bendtner still struggling to return to full-fitness, Arsenal may once again turn to the diminutive Andrey Arshavin to lead the line in attack.

Wow, i feel quite sorry for potsmouth, what happens to the stadium etc.
it'd get torn down unless they found something to do with it
the players would get redundancy money, but the staff would get less money which is unfair cause the staff don't earn half as much as the players, and the players could probably get by without it really
I don't think itll happen though they ll get out of it, either by a new owner or going through administration

Arsenal, the English soccer club, has partnered with Sony Professional to launch Arsenal TV Matchday+.
The application, which fans can download to their Sony PlayStation Portable (PSP) or PSP Go, will enable them to access enhanced content services wirelessly from their seat at the Emirates Stadium, Arsenal's home ground.
This service will provide Arsenal fans with access to a range of viewing options, including live action, video and slow-motion replays from selected camera angles, team sheets, player profiles, the Premier League table, match stats and interactive options, such as voting for the man of the match.
"Since moving to Emirates Stadium we have remained focused on exploring ways to improve our fans' matchday experiences," said Tom Fox, chief commercial officer at Arsenal FC. "Through our ongoing partnership with Sony we have continued to introduce cutting-edge technologies to ensure that Emirates Stadium remains one of the world's leading sports venues."
The launch of the Arsenal TV Matchday+ application follows Sony's original installation of high-definition screens throughout the Emirates, alongside the infrastructure required for the club to broadcast its own in-stadium channel, Arsenal TV, across the network of in-stadium screens.
Arsenal fans will be able to experience the first live game to be broadcast using the Arsenal TV Matchday+ application when it launches later this month. For a one-off £10 fee fans will have access to view the rest of this season's home Premier League games. Access to games being played in the 2010/2011 season will go on sale at the end of this season.

Chamakh to pen £50,000-a-week Arsenal deal tomorrow
Arsenal have struck a deal with Bordeaux striker Marouane Chamakh, it has been revealed.
The Mirror says Bordeaux striker Chamakh, 25, has agreed a pre-contract with the Gunners after Arsenal offered him a five year deal worth £50,000-a-week. The striker has told friends he will sign the deal on Friday.
Chamakh is set to come in next season after turning down more money to join Liverpool because he wanted to work with Arsene Wenger who has been trying to sign the Moroccan since last summer.
It will be a huge boost for Arsenal to land Chamakh after their injury problems with forwards and the deal will also help appease the club's shareholders and fans after a quiet January transfer window.
Big news! Woulda liked gignac or gourcuff though.

The Mirror says Gallas, 32, is a free agent this summer and has made it clear in negotiations that he wants a two-year contract to stay.
Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has hinted that he may be ready to bend club rules and make Gallas an exception to his policy of never giving 30-somethings more than an extra 12 months.
But last night it emerged that Wenger has decided against that and Gallas has only been offered one year which may tempt him to leave on a Bosman-style free transfer this summer.
Arsenal chairman Peter Hill-Wood said: 'Arsene has had a policy with players who are aged over 30 to offer them one-year extensions.
"He has not asked us to make an exception for Gallas. If he did I am sure the board would agree to it.
"It is not out of the question, but it is certainly not on the table at the moment."
Gallas wasnt fit enough against united.. when going up for corners and free kicks he wasnt able to come back at the same speed clichy and vermaelen were, which is why rooney got in so well..

Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger will face a battle with PSV to sign Ivorian striker Lacina Traore.
Heavily linked with a move to the Emirates, it appears that Arsenal now have competition in the race to sign the teenage striker.
Reports in Holland state that Eindhoven made a last-gasp bid at the end of the January transfer window to try and lure Traore to the Philips Stadium, but they fell short and ran out of time.
Dutch publication Algemeen Dagblad report that Fred Rutten attempted to take advantage as Arsene Wenger pondered a move, but the Dutch giants could not agree terms with FC Cluj and may have missed out on the 19-year-old.
Frenchman Wenger decided against a move for the striker after perceived problems with securing a work permit. Footballers outside the EU should technically play 75% of international fixtures over the previous two years to secure a move to the UK, a stumbling block that would be nearly impossible to overcome on appeal.
That said, Wenger has been tracking Traore for some time. Linked with a handful of striikers, it appears Traore is one of his top targets and the Gunners boss could well push for a move in the summer.

Arsenal face Liverpool at The Emirates this evening, but it appears Arsenal have already got one over the Reds after reports on Wednesday claimed they had beaten Liverpool to the signing of long-term target Marouane Chamakh.
The striker will join Arsenal in the summer on a reported £50,000-a-week, nice work if you can get it.
But Liverpool could also be doing some business in the summer after Serbian midfielder Milan Jovanovic agreed to move to Anfield despite interest from Birmingham and Manchester City.
Meanwhile at Chelsea it appears as though Roman Abramovich is about to dip into those deep pockets again as the Blues target £30m-rated Barcelona defender Dani Alves.

Chamakh: Im not a Gunner yet.
MAROUANE CHAMAKH insists he has not agreed to join Arsenal when his contract expires at Bordeaux this summer.
The Gunners are favourites to land the Morocco international on a free transfer at the end of the season.
Boss Arsene Wenger has made no secrect of his desire to sign the striker and Chamakh admits he would love to play in the Premier League.
But the 26-year-old said: "I haven't yet signed at Arsenal.
"However, as the days pass I feel less and less a Bordeaux player."
Chamakh was Bordeaux's leading goalscorer last season as he fired them to the French title. He has scored nine goals so far this term.

When Arsene Wenger arrived at Arsenal, he was mocked and questioned for his urbane disposition and non-conformist attitude to management.
His lack of high level football playing experience and questionable credibility after a stint in Japan prompted jokes by the likes of Tony Adams and Ray Parlour.
But it all changed when he won the Double in his first full season, combining continental flair with British grit.
By going a season unbeaten, he ensured that he goes down in history as one of the greatest managers the game has ever seen and yet peple still question him.
I’ve lived in Italy in the past, a country not known for its colonies and while right wing attitudes and Mussolini calendars are commonplace, their tolerance to overseas players is limited.
Only the likes of Kaka or Shevchenko or Batistuta really capture their hearts, with the rest are heroes or zeroes depending on their performances.
The homegrown players always get an easier ride and the fans are more accepting of their shortcomings or mistakes.
Sound familiar?
If Theo Walcott was called ‘Helder’ or 'Jose' would the Arsenal fans be so patient with him?
Does the yearning for Kieran Gibbs or Jack Wilshere to come good come down simply to wanting to get more homegrown players into the side or a bias towards English footballers?
I’ve written recently that Wenger has been burnt by English players in the past and with prices so exorbitant, you can’t blame him for not investing in English talent.
It could be argued that part of the reason why costs are so high is that English players are made of sterner stuff than their overseas counterparts.
It could be argued that they understand what it means to play for a particular team more than someone who simply wants to experience a different culture, poorer defenders or higher wages.
Steven Gerrard is an exceptional player, one of those who can win a game on his own with his long range shooting, all signing all dancing determination and drive.
He’s not become England captain for the same reasons John T*rry shouldn’t have been given the armband in the first place – too much personal baggage either in the public domain or likely to come out.
It must be frustrating to captain your hometown club and never win the title – especially when almost everyone else he plays with at international level has done so.
And while we should all be celebrating Arsenal’s spirit to play badly and win against a Liverpool side coming into form after the setbacks of the past fortnight, Gerrard’s moaning seems to be the big story.
You can't blame the media for picking up on his rant, listening to an England golden boy rather than looking at the bare facts, but boy is it frustrating.
Every time he could, Gerrard fell over on Wednesday. Remember Eduardo winning a penalty earlier in the season and how it created a storm?
Funny how the likes of Gerrard and Shrek R**ney don’t ever get the same level of criticism. Engerlund myopia I think it’s called.
Despite the dubious nature of the free kick Liverpool won in the first place, the ball did hit Cesc Fabregas’s hand. He was outside the box as far as I could see, but time was up anyway.
When Nick Bendtner went down in the box, he got a booking and I have heard varying reports that it was a complete dive, in which case, shame on you Nick, to those who say there was contact and it was harsh to be booked.
Did Gerrard get booked for a clear dive later on in the game? No, the ref waved his protests away and that was that.
The fact that Arsene Wenger plays an almost entirely overseas side, save for Walcott whose form doesn’t justify a starting berth, will always leave us open to criticism and it’s something we have to accept.
Maybe one of these days we’ll get another penalty as well, but I think two a season may be all we can hope for these days.
Victory may grow through harmony, but strength through adversity could be our greatest weapon in the months to come.

The 21-year-old has again seen his name touted by presidential hopefuls at boyhood club Barcelona.

He said: "The presidents and people at clubs talk too much. They are in the press much more than they should be.
"In England, I have never seen the directors in the press and so it is strange for me."
Almunia knows Fabregas' importance at Emirates Stadium.
He said: "Nobody has any doubt that Cesc gives everything to the game. He makes tackles and fights - this is the only thing that the people can expect from him."
Almunia added: "For the supporters, Cesc is a symbol of the club. For the people, he is the best.

Derby County boss Nigel Clough is reported to be closing in on a loan deal that will take Arsenal youngster Gilles Sunu to Pride Park until the end of the season.
The 18-year-old is French but of Togolese descent and is highly regarded by Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger.
Sunu made his debut for the Gunners in the League Cup tie against West Brom, and has appeared as a substitute in the Champions League against Olympiakos.
Sunu began his career at the renowned Chatearoux Academy and was snapped up by Wenger in 2007 on a four year contract.
Whilst Wenger has high hopes that Sunu will develop into a first team player of some repute, just like so many of his young Guns, he also recognises the need for Sunu to sample senior football.
Clough said of his pursuit of Sunu: "We are still working and waiting to hear from Arsenal on that one. But we would certainly like him in if we could, and if we could get him on before Saturday then even better."
Meanwhile, the Rams boss has targeted six more wins to guarantee Derby’s safety after their morale-boosting with against Newcastle.
Ten points from the last 15 available has moved Derby up to 15th in the table but they remain just four points above the relegation zone.
Clough said: "We're starting to see the benefit of having most of our best players available at the same time but there's a long way to go.
"It's like the season is starting here for us and we've got 16 important league games to come and we've got to win six of them. We think 18 points will make us safe and the priority is to get there as soon as we can."

“1-0 to the Arsenal” used to ring around Highbury in the days of George Graham and his practical pragmatism.
So after a week in which every man and his dog, and Michael Ballack, had chipped in on the Wenger debate, lamenting the Arsenal managers inability to adapt to his opponent, not play a ground strokes game, not try to pass it into the net and not have a plan B, it was fitting that this old ditty should be heard around the Emirates as Arsene Wenger finally grafted out an ugly win.
The game itself, was, unfortunately, dire. - Second half was very entertaining, loads of sportsmanship.
Both Arsenal and Liverpool, two great English institutions, had seemingly conspired to see who could play the least like a professional football team in the first half. A couple of chances for Nicklas Bendtner went begging as he first lacked the pace to break clear, and then sliced woefully over. In the second things improved, although David N’Gog and Tomas Rosicky somehow managed to both fail to get a shot in when clean through on goal in quick succession, the latter involving a comically amateur case of miscontrol but the first requiring a brilliant last man challenge from William Gallas.
In the end it was a goal George Graham would’ve been immensely proud of that separated the teams as Rosicky put in a luscious ball for Adou Diaby to charge in like an early Tony Adams and thunder a header into the net before stumbling and falling to the ground, like a slightly later version of Tony Adams.
Ryan Babel almost got Liverpool level instantly but Almunia saved the Gunners with a finger tip save from the Dutchman’s 25 yard effort. In the last minute one of Steven Gerrard or Dirk Kuyt won a free kick for falling over on the edge of the Arsenal box only for Cesc Fabregas to deflect the goal bound shot away with his elbow whilst seemingly scratching his head.
The ref didn’t notice and the whistle blew, much to the ire of Gerrard and co, and Fabregas slinked off like John Terry in a newsagents on a Sunday.
LOL that is funny , but whoever wrote it was silly.

BAdly written eh.
I think the game was pretty great second half..
Much prefer seeing them shake hands laughing and helping eachother up than going in for hard tackles leaving someone in pain and just walking off saying i got the ball.

As the Spanish media continues to publish report after report tying the Arsenal midfield maestro to a summer transfer to Barcelona on a five-year contract, Cesc Fabregas has finally issued his own, albeit brief, comments on the matter.
Echoing comments issued by his father to Radio Kanal, the player hoped to dispel any notion of a deal in place in a statement published by Club Call. "They [Barca] have denied it and I have denied it. I just want to focus on Arsenal, I think Arsenal Football Club is above all else - every single player in its history, the fans, the club, and myself. I think we deserve a little more respect."
Fabregas is a former Barcelona youth player, leaving the youth ranks to sign for Arsenal because of what the player and his family believed to be limited options of breaking into the Blaugrana first team. Since breaking into the starting line-up in London, the player has steadily improved into one of the world's best midfielders and is a fixture in Vicente del Bosque's Spanish national team. In Spain, the media has long been anticipating the player's return to Spanish soil. Thus, it seems unlikely that the player's comments will keep the press at bay as the Iberian peninsula continues to obsess over the visionary Gunner.
Finally Issued a statement?? he says it every other week

Arsenal had started the day nine points adrift and seemingly no longer genuine contenders following successive defeats to Manchester United and, on Sunday, Chelsea.
However, the deficit was narrowed to six points after Abou Diaby's header earned the three points against Liverpool, United drew 1-1 at Aston Villa and leaders Chelsea lost 2-1 at Everton.

"I believe we will fight until the last second of the season, and that's what we want to continue to do," said Wenger.
"We believe we have a chance and you could see again that Chelsea lost, Manchester United dropped points, so it is open for everybody."
Wenger, though, warned more hard work lay ahead and is focusing only on the immediate future.
"It can change quickly, but for us it is more important for us to focus on winning our next game than speaking about the title because we had a big shock in our last two games," he added.
The victory may have not been a vintage performance by his young side, but it reinforced Wenger's faith following a difficult couple of weeks.
The Arsenal manager added: "Nobody realises what it is to play Manchester United, Chelsea and Liverpool on the trot - physically and mentally it is very demanding, especially with two massive disappointments.
"We have shown good togetherness, good discipline and then we got that little goal which makes a massive result for us."
Liverpool manager Rafael Benitez was left fuming, claiming his side should have had a stoppage-time penalty when Arsenal captain Cesc Fabregas appeared to handle the ball from a Steven Gerrard free-kick.
Referee Howard Webb waved away Liverpool's appeals, and television replays appeared to suggest there was doubt whether the hand was in the box.
Wenger denied Liverpool should have had a penalty, saying: "It was a controversial situation.
"The free-kick against us was harsh. Steven Gerrard didn't deserve the free-kick he got and afterwards Cesc Fabregas maybe touched the ball with his hand, but it shouldn't have been a free-kick."
One sour note for Wenger was that Russian midfielder Andrey Arshavin limped off with a hamstring injury and Samir Nasri was substituted with a head injury which left him nauseous.
Both will be assessed ahead of the Champions League trip to Porto next week, which will be the Gunners' next match as they are no longer in the FA Cup.
