It cant be as its only July - its a forecast not a fact
June was the hottest June on record (but the records for this type of thing go back to 1940) according to the European climate service Copernicus.
There is a lot of politics in this so treat with caution - Copernicus is funded by the EU and ALL left wing media will reproduce what they say verbatim with no investigative journalism. The BBC love this type of stuff

Amid a historic West Coast heat wave, a scorching temperature of 120 degrees in Las Vegas on Sunday broke the city’s all-time record high, with records going back to 1937, according to the National Weather Service.
“I did step out in the afternoon and it was hot; it was a dry heat but it was definitely hot,” said Andrew Gorelow, a forecaster with the weather service’s Las Vegas office. “The intensity of the sun was impressive. It felt very stifling.”
Before July, the hottest day ever recorded by the National Weather Service for Las Vegas was 117 degrees, and that temperature was measured on five separate occasions, on July 10, 2021; June 20, 2017; June 30, 2013; July 19, 2005; and July 24, 1942, according to Brian Planz, a meteorologist with the weather service’s Las Vegas office.
“We have reached 117 five times and then to beat it by 3 degrees — that’s pretty impressive,” Gorelow said.

Amber warning or rain
Midlands
Hull across to Gloucester
Stoke across to Peterborough
An area of heavy rain is expected to develop across central and southern
England during the early of hours of Monday, edging north and west and then
becoming slow-moving somewhere across the warning area for several hours. It
will then weaken and move away eastwards later Monday evening and
overnight.
Not all counties within the warning area will be equally affected, but it seems
likely that some areas will see 60-80 mm and a few places may receive 100-
120mm or more. This is likely to result in travel disruption and some flooding.

Images of Chimney Rock, North Carolina, which was devastated by a mega
flood yesterday from Hurricane Helene. The debris left behind by the flood
has filled the valley after sweeping away much of downtown. Even I40 was
completely washed out in western NC into eastern TN. A dam failure near
Newport, TN sent a wall of water down the river. This unprecedented flooding
was from a worst case scenario with a powerful tropical cyclone getting
squeezed by the southern Appalachian mountains

The weather app is probably some american provider like the weather channel or accuweather and both are useless for the UK but with elevation you could get a snow shower say above 300m or so.
For US weather, I use Weather Underground because it's sourced by local weather stations as much as it is sourced by poorly painted and maintained Stevenson Screens probably located in a concrete forest depicting the effects of "climate change".

September 2024 has been the wettest September on record for some counties,
according to provisional Met Office statistics.
Ten English counties experienced their wettest September on record.
For Bedfordshire and Oxfordshire, September 2024 was the wettest calendar
month the counties have experienced, in a series dating back to 1836.
But, although September has been exceptionally wet for southern and
central areas, Scotland and Northern Ireland have been drier than average,
balancing out the rainfall for the UK as a whole to 25% above the long-term
meteorological average.

Wednesday:
A bright day with plenty of sunny spells for many, however patchy rain may
linger in the south at first. Feeling pleasant in the sunshine with fairly gentle
winds. Maximum temperature 16 °C.
Outlook for Thursday to Saturday:
Remaining settled on Thursday and Friday with sunny spells and light winds.
Cooler nights, with fog and patchy frost, but warm sunshine by day. Turning
wet and windy come Saturday.

The Gulf has been ideal for storms this year. We had 3 hailstorms in May-June which is very unusual for us. Not surprising that we got a hurricane. We were at Galveston several days ago and the winds were unusually high for the both the time of year and the weather we were having, so yeah.. very worried for FL.

Winds will increase right across the
UK through Saturday morning
with gusts of 40-60mph (65-96km/h) expected
quite widely across Scotland and
parts of northern England.
A Met Office yellow warning for
wind has been issued for these areas
from 5am to 7pm on Saturday.
Locally around Irish Sea coasts,
gusts will reach 70mph (113km/h).
These winds have the potential
to cause damage and disruption
to the transport network and buildings,
and power cuts are also possible.]

A deep low may cross England and Wales from Friday afternoon, clearing to the east Saturday night. The low may bring a period of strong winds to much of the warning area, with some heavy rain likely to the north and west of the low centre, and some hill snow in the north (above about 200 metres). Around 15-25 mm of rain may fall quite widely, more particularly across central, northern and western parts of England and Wales, with exposed higher ground in the north and west (particularly parts of Wales, which are at greatest risk of seeing flooding impacts) perhaps locally seeing closer to 50-70 mm. Winds may quite widely gust to around 40-50 mph inland but locally could gust in excess of 60 mph, whilst around coasts, winds may gust to 60-70 mph, perhaps locally nearer 80 mph. The wind and rain may cause disruption to travel, with difficult driving conditions likely.

I played in a gale up in Fraserburgh and on one hole every time we chipped onto the green the balls blew off - we had to abandon the hole and make a score up. On the first tee all our bags blew over every time we left them.
