The Score was pretty harsh on Vika and 3 times in important times in the match Serena got lucky with the Net, 5 of the 6 games in the 1st set went into deuce and in the second set the important break was a double fault by Vika, she needs to work on it so much along with her movement it was painful watching her move today.. Serena played Great though and won all the important points though. Vika on Hard court is twice the player she is on Clay though

She either crushes her opponent, or she gets crushed. She is the typical Russian player, sort of manufactured, through repetition. She is better technically, her serve is much better, she doesnt commit unforced errors, like Venus always does . And this has nothing to do with health issues. Venus use to beat people through sheer athleticism, but now that she s older, and not very healthy, its different. Serena is still on top, because there is more to her game, than power.

That is exactly what I meant. We've seen both of them at their best, and Serena is clearly better. Especially now, because she seems really dedicated to tennis. Venus only beat Serena, when she was still developing.

This takes nothing away from Venus as a champ. She is easily in my top 10 girls, of all time.
