And 8 > 1, 2 and 7 sorry not sorry. I'd even put it above 5 for overall strength of cast, although the challenges were better in 5.

Actor Kelly Mantle is making Academy Awards history this year. The gender-fluid performer is eligible for Oscar nominations in both male and female categories, which is a first for the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences.

The role in question is Mantle's portrayal of transgender prostitute Ginger in "Confessions of a Womanizer." The film, directed by Miguel Ali, centers on a womanizer named Richie (Andrew Lawrence), who finally finds a real relationship with Megan (Jillian Rose Reed) after jumping from woman to woman. According to The Wrap, the producers of the film submitted Mantle, who is gender-fluid and uses masculine pronouns, in both male and female categories when the paperwork for Oscar submissions required the actor be classified by gender.

According to the filmmakers, the Academy granted their request, and the former "RuPaul's Drag Race" contestant is eligible for either the Supporting Actor or Supporting Actress category.

The Academy's decision not only means Mantle could be nominated in either category, but it may open up the option for future gender-nonconforming talent.

I think people were content with the season after the first one being so awful. I remember when the cast was leaked, not may people were excited at first so it was pleasant surprise.

The boot order was definitely hit/miss. I think the format itself brought drama, which was what helped the season's momentum from start to finish. I would have liked Alyssa to be in the final, but ultimately I'm not bothered because I think the writing was on the wall for winner anyway.

In hindsight I think I'd have rather had Tati in the final? I feel like she delivered the most surprises and versatility. I can't say Alyssa changed too much from s5 beyond her makeup and fashion.

But then I'd have rather ginger had more time father than being culled for one runway decision (I still honestly believe she and Alyssa were the top 2 of that week if we're to judge them on the history performance) but hey ho...

There isn't really a bad season to start with apart from allstars 1. Even season 7 had its moments... I just think the new untucked format ****ed over the queens and made the younger fans go H.A.M. for the queens with the bitchier senses of humour.
