Yeah, Pearl's aesthetic is really interesting. The thing that gets me though is that it seems like even she doesn't know what she's doing. Clearly that isn't the case, cause she does it so well, but I don't think that she'd be able to defend herself if the panel ever asked her about something. Like she wouldn't even know where to start.

Another thing that gets me about her just from stuff that I've seen before the show and now on it is that she only really does neutrals, creams/white, red, and black. Which is a cool idea, but with how stylized she is, I could see it getting repetitive. So far, I like her though, she has a very edgy style of camp (the subtle exaggerations with her look and her performance) that I dig.

Kennedy was awful this episode. I didn't rate her that much to begin with but now I've gone off her completely. She has no right to act so entitled, and tbh Jasmine did better in the lip-sync.

Max was awesome :love: his/her team did really well, which can't be said for team Kennedy's mess :umm2: I'm surprised Kandy was the best amongst them all.

I can't complain about that result. It was the first time I've actually warmed to Pearl as well (besides fawning over her out-of-drag appearance ofc :flutter:)

I never really got Trixie and always felt like she was trying hard and delivering little. Also didn't really appreciate her signature look. If I had one complaint it's that I would have put Kandy in the bottom two with her, because she is really fading into the background now.

Don't quite understand why Kennedy was the winner but she did good... I just think Jaidynn's Bianca and Violet's Adore were better. Oh and lol @ the runway theme upsetting Michelle <3

Yeah based on the acting challenge alone she deserved the win, but the runway's always been a part of the show. If Katya's look made up the difference, I'm not mad.

Untucked makes Ginger and Kennedy look like such whiney bitches. Neither of their looks last night, or any of their looks so far, were that great for them to complain about Max or Pearl, especially not Kennedy. Pearl had a planned look, but had to sacrifice it, Kennedy had that look already and decided to try and make it fit the runway with some stupid hooker story. It's not like she put a lot of prep into it, to get mad that Pearl hadn't.

And double eye-roll at Ginger wanting to complain about Max having repetitive hairstyles when week after week she's coming out with a wig pinned to back of her head and her other 7 hairs slicked back.

A pair of unaware hypocrites and I LOVE that Max called them both out. Max is becoming my fave partly because of her aesthetic, but mainly because of her personality (minus the whole judgmental prude thing).

I wouldn't have put Jaidynn in the bottom two tbh - her runway was awesome, and her exaggerated slow vocal delivery as Ru was kinda funny... Kandy obviously flopped on both accounts and deserved to go, but I'd have put her up against Max tbh :( Her Merle was forgettable (but then Merle is, so...) and the runway was a kinda cute but safe idea. It'd be just SO samey as well, and I can't see Violet being nearly talented enough to make the final - she's been atrocious at acting all season, she isn't funny (as seen in the DESPYs), and she just isn't likeable. I want to like Miss Fame in that she has quite a few unintentional comic moments but I can't help but feel it's all a bit forced? I mean two weeks in a row that 'how's your head?' joke falls flat on her? Please.

If anything I think Violet's the prime candidate for the next elimination: we've seen her jaw-dropping runways now. Unless they've saved something spectacular from the preview edits.

Untucked has sort of ruined the entertainment aspect of it for me. Whilst the queens are more real and their conversation more contextualised, it's sort of made them seem all... ordinary.

It might just be a bad cast. Too many pretty skinny bitches that can't perform or give good cutaways, just a few bitch remarks, where last year and other seasons it's just been one or two.

Just watched it. General thoughts:

- Should've 100% been Miss Fame vs. Max in that lipsync. Jaidynn at least made me laugh two or three times, and Miss Fame's runway look was really sloppy IMO :conf2: that leather corset didn't fit at all and the choker was just a bit glued on and desperate, really, although I guess Jaidynn's look wasn't great either.
- Kennedy should've won the challenge by herself. Her and Violet were the strongest snatch games by FAR... I actually cried laughing @ Kennedy's Little Richard, I don't know anything about him really, but it was just so unexpected and brilliant :worship: and Violet's mannerisms were very good. Oh and Violet's runway >>>>>>>> all others. God damn, that was sexy.
- Pearl fading into the background again... I've only seen gifs of that Ang woman so idk how faithful she stayed to the character but the actual look (and her runway) just looked a bit messy and I know it was supposed to be but it's all a bit... child putting cushions down their top and pretending they're tits... I'm over her completely, now.
- Katya and Fame's bonding <333333333333 hoping for more Katya in the editing in future

and if the rumours are true about two queens being brought back and made to lipsync for their place in the competition, then well, I'm hoping for Mrs. Kasha Davis and Max or Jasmine, but it's obviously going to be Trixie I guess, even though she did absolutely nothing for me and is way too try-hard and bland. But whatever. She can just do a Carmen or a Kenya and get sent home straight away again. Boring.

And I know I'm biased but Katya/Kasha's runway was my favourite. I can't fault Trixie/Pearl, but I loved theirs. That lipsync was fantastic though :joker:

Yeah I just watched it - has to be the worst lipsync in a long time, and has confirmed that the next time Pearl's in the bottom she's ****ing doomed, if all she can do is that intense arm-wavey thing that was sort-of cool to Blondie but totally out of place with Demi Lovato.

On the subject of judges:
- Carson is crap
- Ross is charming and lovely
- I SORT OF MISS SANTINO??????????? WHY????
- The guests have been, whilst big names, HIDEOUS. Demi and Ariana were basically there to plug singles, and whilst their songs were some of the best on show so far this season (still shudder to think of that Olivia song, and Ru's opening Geronimo nonsense), they've just offered no personality. The worst judge by far was Lafayette from TB though. I've read a lot of the queens hated him, and it was kinda obvious he gave less than he got.

But otherwise... I can't remember a good guest judge? Where the hell is LaToya bloody Jackson!? Just make her a regular. Please. In fact let's just go through the list.

Week 1 - Kathy Griffin - did what she always does: bark at the contestants and offer zero constructive criticism (that we see, at least)
Week 2 - Olivia Newton-John (token 'legend' figure that looked uncomfortable) and Jordin Sparks (I seem to recall kinda liking her)
Week 3 - Mel B (basically invisible) and Kat Dennings (don't remember her at all)
Week 4 - Jessica Alba (lol) and Lucian Piane (let's be real, we'd all tap that, but he is so untalented it hurts </3)
Week 5 - Isaac Mizrahi (I don't even remember?)
Week 6 - Merle Ginsberg (kween, but just back for a cameo i guess) and Ariana
Week 7 - Tamar Braxton (YES. SHE DELIVERED. Finally found one.) and Michael Urie (blah)
Week 8 - LeAnn Rimes (did she even say anything?) and Nelsan Ellis (aforementioned lafayette disaster)
and this week... well John Waters was delightful as ever :love:

so yeah that's 3, maybe 4 good judges this season :unsure:
