I haven't seen her lipsync but Vixen's was messy and erratic so I think she could've won it. I just think Monique shot herself in the foot with her response to Michelle's critiques... I do sympathise with Monique (and other past queens like Chi Chi who have complained about a lack of money)...

It's all very easy to say it doesn't matter about the money if you have a strong community and sisterhood of help and support... but I'd imagine if you're a queen trying to make it alone you're going to struggle a lot. From what we heard, Kansas City (Missouri, not Kansas, oddly) isn't the biggest of drag communities, so I feel for Monique. For the time she gave herself and the resources she had, she did pretty brilliantly on the runway (I particularly enjoyed the Hats Incredible, Watermelon bikini, Queen of Hearts runways, and her Feathers one was one of the most stunning of all time :love:)

During Kamerons preformance it kept showing the judges looking unimpressed and bored and during Cracker's they were laughing at like every line even the ones that weren't funny

But then in the critiques said they couldn't understand Cracker and thought Kamerom was amazing?? Kameron done a good impression but wasn't funny at all and had a fairly basic runway so idk what they were thinking. Eureka should've won or if not her Cracker

I'm thinking Asia will have a comeback now and be in the top 4 with Aquaria, Euerka and someone else, but it's seeming now it'll be Kameron in top 4 which is... Interesting

I remember feeling confused watching it at the time, I knew Kameron's reception from the judges wasn't THAT glowing until after it ended :shrug: Like they knew they wanted to keep the competition even and not build Eureka up to lose to a crappy lipsync twist in the final, a la Shea.

I'm watching it properly (ie. not in a terrible Periscope quality) now, I shall confirm whether she really was a knockout shortly!

OK yeah Kameron sounds good and performs well but the judges do look a bit... "meh" about it all. They react a lot stronger to Monet, Miz and Eureka.

I feel like that challenge was really uneven in terms of choreography. Like Kameron and Eureka had hardly any choreo compared to someone like Monet. But I suppose this week didn't really matter as it was all just filler to finally get rid of The Vixen.

Honestly, my ideal outcome going into this episode was a double shantay, given that it was either that or bringing, like, Vanjie or Blair back only to send them home again, so this was a great result for me (and the lip sync warranted a double shantay, so even better... it definitely wouldn't have been fair to send any of them home based on a crummy acting challenge this late in the season)

The only thing this episode really did was kinda secure Aquaria’s win tbh
I’m assuming the last 2 challenges will be makeover and design which she will likely do well in and Eureka has been Bottom 2 twice now so it puts her pretty far behind Aquaria - this is assuming they don’t follow the same format as last year though

Anyway this episode was fine, the challenge wasn’t funny at all, this and the AS3 acting challenge have been some of the worst ever
Monét or Aquaria should’ve won as well, better runway and preformance than Asia imo - and bottom 2 should have been Eureka and Cracker - not quite sure why it wasn’t cause they set up Cracker to go home all episode

Aquaria - potentially a winner, hasn't really had a bad week yet, the worst she ever does is equivalent to someone elses good, so in terms of that I think shes done pretty well.

Cracker - I know she started strong but as the 'comedy queen' shes been a big let down, even her jokes in the work room are awkward and unfunny. However when it comes to the runway shes one of, if not the strongest of the group.

Asia - potentially a winner too, she seems to be Ru's favorite. Shes done pretty well throughout except maybe a couple of not-so-good weeks (that fish mask??), but overall I wouldnt be mad if she won.

Kameron - Shes good but not great, can see her going within the next couple of weeks, although as a person I think shes lovely and one of the nicest this year. But one of the judges clocked her this week by saying all her outfits are just womens clothes.

Eureka - another potential winner, the only thing that holds her back is when shes having a bad day, she lets it affect how she is in the challenges and the runway, which could be her downfall in the end.

I'm genuinely shocked that I've managed to avoid spoilers this season, given that I practically knew the entire boot order of AS3 off by heart before it had even started, and I'd spoiled season 9 for myself from Farrah's elimination onwards (the closest thing to a spoiler that I accidentally stumbled across this season was an old comment along the lines of "I can't believe Mayhem goes so early" in the week before her elimination, but that still didn't stop me from assuming The Vixen was going home for the first three quarters of that episode)

For example they didn't have Yuhua going so early, had Dusty going home second, and didn't have Vanjie going first (they weren't miles off, saying it'd be Kalorie, mind). Oh they also thought the double-shantay (spoilered in case there's two, lol) would be Eureka vs. Aquaria. Which I guess could still happen so I'll spoiler that :ninja2:

I think I managed to escape most AS3 spoilers aside from the final four, which rather ruined the whole series anyway :joker: "Hmm, Ben has won five challenges, why didn't she make the final :think:". I seem to remember them saying that the top 2 was Bebe and Trixie, too. Which would've probably made me commit suicide. At least Kenney<3 had the pleasure of winning the final lipsync even if she didn't get the crown.

Tatianna: An understated kinda choice. Will be fun to see how she's evolved though.

Coco: Hmm not my favourite.
Detox: Love a bit of Detox, she definitely deserved a second chance.
Roxxxy: Awful choice. I think Roxxxy may be my least favourite of all time? Similar to Phi Phi really - nasty person, and shocking she got so far.
Alaska: An all-time favourite, so she better win.
Adore: Adore is great, and Adore's voice grates. She is the logical choice from S6. (Can we have April Carrion back though please?)
Katya: I don't quite understand why Katya is as loved as she is, but she's totally worthy of a second chance.

There's a massive difference between gaining followers and a fanbase simply from being on Drag Race and its affiliate shows (Trixie) and gaining them from working hard to make it on the scene, make connections and brand yourself as a performer without such a platform, which Aquaria has done, but that doesn't give her any sort of advantage as it would in a season based around post-Drag Race legacies and branding such as All Stars

And I only started live-watching from S8 onwards but I feel like Ginger would've won S7 had it not been for a number of viewers taking a dislike to her/preferring the Looks queens?
