CBB2 Day 5 (Goldie evicted)

I don't remember Melinda being so "childlike", she acts like a toddler sometimes, i don't recall her like that outside the house after. First bits of tension between Goldie and Anne/Melinda.

Les talking about his separation (later divorce) with Amanda Holden.

Lol Goldie to Melinda asking whether she has "used her breasts skillfully". Also I am still not used to seeing them all smoke indoors. Looks like a ********** sauna in the living room.

Day 5 is defintley the best episode so far, before this, I was losing the will to live.

Shame to see Goldie go, that's (IMO) the entertainment gone (and he is interesting to me), he speaks his mind, but not in an aggressive way.

Seriously though, when I look at this cast on the outside world now in whatever they are doing, I would never even remember they were in this series. This series is a very lost one in the BB files. None of them would be seen as "someone who was on BB", with the likes of Sue, Goldie, Les etc...

Day 8 (Live Task)/ Day 9

Just realised, the voice that does the eviction countdown, that is PEJ yes?

Final

Also, I am so dumb, but I just realised watching the final. So, on launch, the HMs all entered in the same doors and side of the house that they did every single series from then until BB19. But during the first 3 evictions, they left via a side door on the ground floor and not the main entrance/exit... and now watching the final, they are back to exiting via the main door (up the stairs and out the door).

Why did they exit via a different door? Or have I gone mad?

Good energy from the crowd, i believe this is the first time since BB3 final where they spoke from the crowd, and then will do it from there on from CBB4 onwards? I can't remember how they did it for CBB3, guess I will see very soon!

Overall, a poor series. One which i think the shunting of it is very well deserved. I now can see why I rated CBB2 as my least ever fave joint with BB4. In fact with the rewatch, I would put it at the lowest.

Completely forgot that there were over 2 years wait from CBB2 to CBB3 (Nov 2002-Jan 2005), BB4/5 and Teen BB all aired between the two CBB series.

Completely different feel, and continuing the "evil" theme from BB5.

CBB3- Day 3

He;s been up for 1 minute and he's started already, "vegetarian women are problem women".

"Women are always ill" and he's having a go at all the women. :joker: I love Caprice's jibes to John, and vica versa :D

The John/Bez drug debate is quite interesting. Bez is saying that drugs should be legalised and people should learn more about it. I have to agree with Bez's view on drugs being taken solely because it is illegal.. same as drink here. I note that in Italy and Spain where there is less of a drinking age, there are less heavy drinkers due to people drinking little bits at a younger age.

Bez and John's disagreement about schooling is a bit tense. I think Bez came across a bit nasty-ish there saying Johns parents didn't love him due to them sending John to an all boys school.

They are all playing for each others belongings. Really liking the mix.

Not sure whether Germaine is team John or not right now, she seems to understand him, but then in other ways, likes to moan about him, but that is understandable.

Day 4

Germaine getting told off for cutting up the towels and she didn't give a **** :joker: All of the HMs taking jibes at John while he just goes off on one, heaven!

Lisa getting really pissy with John here during the obstacle course task. Telling him not to shout at her (don't think he was). God, the roundabout bit of the task is terrible, making me feel dizzy! :( They are look terrible after that.

Lisa's constant shouting and telling people to shut up is really grating.

John having a strop for no Diet Coke, "I'm not doing anything for Big Brother... and the lot of you can ******* yourselves without me!":hee: and now he's in the DR having a tantrum :joker:

Ooh crap, didn't know that Kenzie was the first person who would actually blow with John. He lost it! I see his point though, John telling Kenzie he is weak and that's why BB told him to shut the bedroom door. To be fair to Kenzie, he traded food to get John milk to make him happy, so I thought that was really rude from John. That was quite a quick switch from him. I wonder if he's like that now. We know John hasn;t changed, but Kenzie seems mature now (which again, makes sense as he was 19 on the show). He's got kids now.

But Kenzie's "you know what I mean" x200 is aggravating.

First shopping task for the series. Looks really interesting. Lisa is the Queen. John apologises to Kenzie about the night before which he accepts. But he has removed himself from the group and wants nothing to do with the task or the other HMs. Lisa trying to convince him to participate but he is having none of it. Such a child :joker:

BB offers Jeremy diet coke and he downs it because John doesn't deserve it. Fair point. I would have done the same :laugh:

All HMs must wear their uniforms during the task.

I think she was humorous with her earlier ones, now she gets angrier and it gets less entertaining. What I liked about her is that her insults were quick witted. Now all she says is "you are disgusting John, you are sexist John". I still like her, i should have yellowed her with John and the rest on orange. But not as much as I liked her before, also it is because both Jackie and Brigitte were better so they pushed her down.

The series has started to get better the last few days with the arguments between Gerry and Carole keeping the show entertaining. Carole really is the fun police at the moment and is constantly telling other housemates off for the smallest of things, however at the same time I find it quite funny too in a weird way :joker:

The Finishing Academy task so far has been good and I've noticed the last few tasks have been better than some of the dud ones there have been in BB8. Overall I still hold the view that the task quality wasn't the best in this series.

Liam in this episode was talking about how he once slept with a bi-sexual person and how he was surprised they didn't want a threesome with another girl. :fist: He then went on to say that he would never date a bisexual person because they would be more likely to cheat. Crazy how even in ten years, views have changed on LGBT. If he said that in the show today, he would have slaughtered for it and possibly got a warning.

BB9: A series which took longer than usual to finish but I still enjoyed it. There are better series though and it’s not a very consistent series (like everybody else says) but one thing I will say is I really liked the cast! Everybody slates the BB9 lot but I really like most of them, with the exception of a few ****heads. And I gave this format of summary a go as I looked at a few of these over the past few weeks so I made one to add to the lot :hugesmile:

1. Belinda - Belinda Belinda Belinda <3 My favourite of the series, although Mikey is very close to snatching it. There’s just something special about an eccentric auntie figure going onto Big Brother and piss everyone off while being the nicest person there (on par with Rachel and Sara, mind you) Also her on the bike had me in stitches! Well that’s how she put it. She chose to describe it as hurting her “vulva” and ending up with “raw labia” Oh Belinda Belinda Belinda, never change. I have nothing but ****ing positive thoughts about her.

2. Michael - Just look back through the posts I made quoting him. I probably quoted him too much and may have reached Vanessa territories (:love:) on this series about Mikey but can you blame me? Endless one-liners, didn’t let anyone be nasty to him and was constantly dragging Rex! What’s not to like! AHHH! ****IN HELL! ****IN IDIOT! AT WAS ****IN SORE WHIT IH **** WAS AT!

3. Sara - One of the kindest sweetest people in Big Brother history! And she could hold her own as well, which made her a great housemate imo. She dealt so well with Rex and Darnell’s bullying of her and didn’t stand for any of it, which made her such a fantastic hm.

4. Mario - An amazing father figure <3 Came out with so many hilarious one liners and overall an amazing housemate. I would definitely like to join his fanclub. His obsession with health and safety is so underrated but the best thing about him? “Mikey’s got a disability, open your eyes!” s42j0HTf-do And you can’t help but scream at this

5. Lisa - Ok so ngl, I expected her to be a bit more relevant to the series than she was, but when she occasionally popped up, she was “hirarious” (that should really be for Kathreya’s writeup but me caring) such as her casually breaking out and happily going back in. Also she’s actually really sweet as well! The prisoner’s dilemma was a really sweet moment from Lisa too.

6. Dale - Well I wasn’t expecting to have Dale Howard as high as this. But I do because he is the once in a blue moon “lad” housemates that turns out to be likeable! His mission to get nominated (which ultimately backfired) was so strange that it made him more endearing and just remember - it’s not the Weakest Link, Anne Robinson’s not in the toilet!

7. Rachel - Rachel Rice :love: I’ll just leave you with this thread (http://www.thisisbigbrother.com/forums/showthread.php?t=327227) to look through if you want an extended description of why Rachel was such a good housemate despite not being very outspoken, but Rachel is proof that you don’t need to be outspoken to be likeable on BB.

8. Rebecca - A scream! I get why others don’t like her but she’s just so random in her behaviours (albeit coming across desperate but that’s not for here) that you can’t help but like her. Also there’s something about having Mmmbop in your best bits that makes you more likeable.

9. Alexandra - So she’s definitely not a good person by any stretch but I can appreciate her as a housemate “Remember I told you” “Oh OF COURSE they did!” Also “gangster friends” was a scream tbh, it’s very “Ooh you’re hard” isn’t it? But I couldn’t help but like her overall - but that’s not to say she should come back for All Stars anytime soon if BB gets renewed.

10. Stephanie- We love a haemorrhoid. A great first boot with lots of potential. Should have been Luke ffs.

11. Jennifer - “Apparently she’s rewlly nice lookin, wi long, brown, kinda straight hair - I just wish ah hud ma sight back for at!” Anyways... I liked her, she seemed nice enough. Would ya do that to Monet! That’s all else I can say though oops

12. Luke - NAW REBECCA NAW! There was a point where I had him as a favourite :skull: A phase. :umm2: Although I enjoyed his occasional one liners, but Mikey and Mario do that better tbh. Although Luke has the edge of his funny accent “Vereh swesh” Also unpopular opinion but I quite liked his over the top, theatric, bordering on desperate whinging! But anyway, he’s orange zone.

13. Kathreya - I’m quite mixed on Kat. On one hand, she’s irritating af sometimes and I don’t buy her “happy house” act. But on the other hand, she’s generally harmless and a nice person really, (Bless!) so I don’t dislike her but she’s definitely overrated

14. Sylvia - I can’t remember anything about her tbh bar the fight with Mikey on the henny. Which pushes her above Maysoon and Stuart. Anyway! Boring, next!

15. Stuart - Stuart Pilkington? More like Stuart Pillockington amiright. Anyway, pass. Although his crowd surf was a hilarious fail in hindsight, so I guess that makes him better than Maysoon but not by much.

16. Maysoon - I’m sorry, I do not know who this girl is. Jk, I do and her commenting on Rachel’s exercise saying “I do that much exercise in a week was kinda a mood but she was otherwise Savannah O’Reilly levels of irrelevant.

What a KNOOOOOOOOOOOB./dale. Also, he was just so desperate for attention all the time, remember when he ate Mikey’s snot for a can of cider? :yuk: And remember when after the chilli pepper task, he felt the need to strip off and run around the garden? Desperate.

18. Rex - Same as Darnell, started off really well but then Nicole came along and then the Rex I liked left the house and we ended up with Tweedledum and Tweedledee (Darnell can be Tweedletwat) as we had to put up with their sickly and actually quite toxic relationship. Just went downhill for Rex from there and he turned into a bully and a pillock

19. Darnell - Omg do not get me started. He started off so well too, he was sweet, fun and considerate in the first few weeks and was fantastic during Fight Night but when Sara came in, he turned into this huge dickhead that eventually became insufferable and just completely cruel towards Sara and others. Cock.

20. Nicole - Boring, rude and a borderline bully towards Mikey. Get gone.

A relief PJ went. I didn't think any of this cast would annoy me more than Jonny, but he's definitely been bested by someone who was awful about women, denied sexual involvement with them like a coward (even in his own interview after it was shown to him), and generally a smug lickarse who SHOULD have had more backlash. If he hadn't been nominated by complete random pulls of paper or if he had been nominated against anyone other than Kate or Jonny this week, he would've probably survived nominations the week after and made the final, possibly in a chance of winning judging by those reactions, a scary thought.
