And yeah that whole secret mission was a disaster tho in Steph's defence she was only 19 and have that pressure put on you only minutes into entering the house was a bit unfair of the producers, she would have been expected to sleep next to a strange thats twice her age.

I feel sorry for Rachel, Anyone that watches Big Brother knows that lots of people big up their vt's and tbh if anyone should be given the most crap its Dale, he did say that he would screw anyone over for the 100k but even so people shouldn't really be making judgements based on before the show.

I like him but Rex did overreact to her VT. Yes, Rachel did exaggerate but he made a big song and dance about it.

A great week! And probably the best since spitgate, Maysoon walking was incredibly random, wont exactly be a loss to the house though she did seem nice.

And omg wouldn't it have been amazing had suspect 6 had been the replacement for Maysoon rather than Nicole who i hear is going to be a chore to watch!

- funny how everyone is hating craig’s lazy ass this week because of his mysterious ‘knee’ injury
- actually enjoying nick? his game playing is fun to watch because everyone seems to love him while it’s so clear he’s manipulating everyone.

- andrew leaving was bliss, he was so smug, and was acting real weird around mel near the end of his stay..
- caggy going from bright and happy and then randomly running off for a cry, then strolling back into the house dynamic like nothing happened, is such a mood, she taken being nominated three times in a row so great.
- this is the week nick's schemes are becoming more and more noticeable, it's so thrilling to watch, i can understand why the girls of 2000 were on the edge of their seats.
- i'm also enjoying watching this because it's so refreshing and nostalgic, even though it's 20+ years old now it somewhat still feels groundbreaking.

CBB6- Day 6 Highlights
Just started rewatching CBB6 and currently up to Day 6. So far there isn't anyone I dislike but there is a few deadwood housemates.

The Americans casted for this series were all superb choices.

I can see how Coolio is rubbing a few of them up the wrong way and why they are intimidated by him. However, he seemed genuinely remorseful for upsetting Michelle and showed a more a caring side when chatting to Latoya about being lonely. There is definitely a sensitive side to him that he occasionally reveals. The Coolio in UBB had a big ego and was more aggressive than he has been in CBB6 so far.

Tina is hilarious and a CBB legend. I forgot how honest and upfront she is. She's a proper scouser and I love it :joker:

CBB6 (Day 9)

I spoke too soon about Coolio. He has been making loads of the women feel uncomfortable and wound up Lucy so much she broke down in tears during the shopping task. I think its part of his game plan to wind people up but sometimes he goes too far with it. I would find it irritating if someone was constantly wanting to be centre of attention but at the same time he can be hilarious to watch. Also when Ulrika was upset about surviving eviction, he was really kind to her and tried to cheer her up. Even though he is a d**k, I think most of that is just an act for the cameras.

Also Mutuya's outburst to Big Brother was ICONIC when she said she was going to ****** Big Brother up when she got into the diary room :joker:

Favourite Tina line from the past few episodes: "You're only a young girl as well, you don't wanna be with a pack of hairy assed men" :joker:

CBB- Day 15 (Tina's Eviction)

I'm so gutted Tina has left. For some reason, I had it in my head that she was the 3rd housemate to be evicted.

This episode was definitely the best episode of the series.Tina and Coolio's iconic fight where she screamed "No ******* man is gonna ever tell me to shush". Verne also got drunk and was chatting up all the ladies before crashing into the diary room door with his scooter. :joker:

The Boy/Girl divide is a strange dynamic and never again seen in BB I believe. The girls splitting up the shopping was a childish move that was obviously going to cause tension in the house. However it really annoyed me that Tommy and Coolio didn't even bother with their task and therefore sacrificed the shopping for the whole house.

I'm getting sick of over half the housemates whinging that they want to go home. Michelle and Ulrika's constant crying is becoming tiresome now. :sleep:

With one week left to go, this series has been enjoyable but will probably remain mid tier.

Final Highlights show watched!

Say what you want about this group but this is a very strong final 5 set of housemates. All 5 of them have been either likeable but unlikable but they have all been fairly big presences to the series and that is refreshing. I will do my final casual rankings followed by my overall thoughts and housemate rankings but for now I will give how i would like the boot order to go

21. Dennis
I dont feel its worth too much time to adress my utter distaste for this grotty grim scummy individual. Even before Spit-Gate he was totally unlikeable picking on Mohamed for no reason, accusing him of Homophobia and just being a prick in general.

Obviously what sticks out the worst about Dennis as mentioned is spit-gate. Spitting in Mohamed's face has to be one of the most scummiest things I have ever seen a housemate do and his ejection was totally justified. Without question a botom 5 housemate and so far stands as my second least favourite housemate ever with Connor (BB13) being just ahead.

20. Luke
I'm sorry to those that are Luke stans but I honestly could not stand this annoying, hypocritical, sneaky, ****-stirring little bollocks for the eight weeks he was in there for.

I didn't immediately hate Luke very quickly on, in fact I predicted he would be a rather likeable endearing character but no! all he did for eight weeks was constantly go on about people going in for the 'Cheque', constantly **** stir, and jump from group to group and plant seeds in the minds of others on how much he hates the likes of Rachel.

It is undoubtably rewarding that A. Luke is evicted before Rachel and B. Rachel ends up winning and C. The crowd start chanting jealous at Luke as he shows his pure envy in Rachel winning.

Plus he had this insufferable showmance with Rebecca. I mean imagine actually putting two of the most annoying housemates together. A match made in heaven is all i'll say.

Anyway I did not like Luke one bit maybe I'm being harsh but he was a prick.

19. Sylvia
A really boring and tedious member of the whisper club. People say Sylvia was a great villain but what all did she do? All I can remember was her being Alexandra's Hench woman, being a bitch to Mikey for simply asking to keep the noise down in the bedroom and acting as if Mikey is attacking her and being so desperate to try and start and showmance with late-comer Stuart, which failed hard.

18. Nicole
Ugh what a terrible casting choice! I never really understood what the producer thought they would get out of Nicole being Rex's Girlfriend. All she did was moan and ruin Rex as a housemate and his chances of winning although it could be argued that it had nothing to do with that. I still strongly believe it had a big part. All she did was moan and threaten to go home because she had to wash up (Tbf that did make me scream) but honestly she was so tiresome and should have just come in as a guest or something without putting us through three weeks of torment.

17. Alexandra
This is one I'm dreading, As good of a villain as Alexandra was and was a big catalyst in making the first two weeks very entertaining, She was just too dark for me. Apart from her constant 'rememba I told you' one liners, She was almost too horrible of a person for me to enjoy. Not a pleasant person one bit and her ejection was totally justified imo.

16. Darnell
One I should be putting in red after some of the awful things he said towards the end, but in the end I do not think Darnell is an awful person, but incredibly troubled and challenged to the point were it makes him impossible to enjoy. Hell I'm surprised he even got passed the ****ing psych test.

Of course what helps Darnell from getting into hate territory is his involvement in spit-gate, showing how morally righteous he was and storming into the bedroom and making Dale and Stuart that were licking Jen's arse and putting them in their place for defending a scum-bag who spat in someone's face. Honestly this one moment could have won Darnell the show.

But sadly for Darnell, that momentum is short-lived and we are then left weeks upon weeks of self-pitying insecurities and his worst point being his treatment of Sara. Sara was with everyone very flirtatious and tactile and Darnell trying to get with her and then turning on her for no good reason by calling her 'ugly bitch' and 'slut' made me root for Sara and make me genuinely feel really bad and sorry for her. And then contradicting himself saying he only said what he said to Sara to make her look good. Um no **** off Darnell that is bull****!

But yeah overall not much else to say other than I had to put up with the majority of the 13 weeks of Darnell feeling sorry for himself and at times being a massive arsehole.

15. Rebecca
Ugh what an annoying gob****e that lasted longer than I thought! ****ing 7 weeks if you don't mind! I may have appreciated her a lot more had she gone out around Week 5 were she managed to beat Mario with over 70% of the vote?????? Like TF?

She was just incredibly annoying who started a showmance with Luke and really showed what an awful housemate he was, who pretty much could not do without her and became nothing. Rebecca also doesnt get enough hate for instigating fight night 2/spit-gate. It annoys me to death when people justify her action because she was 'intoxicated' with booze but that's no excuse imo.

But yeah pretty rubbish housemate overall

14. Stuart
I don't dislike Stuart but I do not exactly like him either. Such a frustrating pointless late intruder. The whole idea of casting Stuart was clearly to put house hunk Dale in competion with over Jennifer but that storyline completely backfired and Jen was evicted after only two weeks of him being in there.

But what I dislike the most about Stuart as a housemate is that he really didnt seem to want to be in there at all. Like two ****ing weeks into the show apparently he wanted to leave and by the end he used tactics to make sure he would face eviction, this triggered me so much, like this is the experience of a life-time you might as well walk and have us get a rather promising replacement rather than wait until you are evicted. And lets face it whether you like Dale or not He should not have been evicted over Stuart.

All in all a pointless housemate who wanted to leave all the time with his best moment was him leaving and diving into the middle of the crowd expecting to be cached instead it wasnt that way:laugh::laugh:. But yeah pretty crappy.

13. Mohamed
I am very divisive about Mohamed, At first I felt sorry for him that some of the housemates were giving him a hard time all the time, (Dennis, Alexandra, Luke ,Rebecca, Dale) But once all these housemates left you can in many ways see why they hated him in the first place.

I also found him pretty repulsive and greedy asf eating Mikey's bogey for a cider and his yes man attitude towards the whole Sara bullying scandal was very frustrating. Also might I add i do wonder whether or not he could have actually got to the end if he didnt have the likes of Kat, Darnell and Rex to protect him? I think not!

Mohamed should be lower tbh and should be below average but all in all I didn't really mind him.

12. Jennifer
What a divisive housemate! I did like what she stood for in being honest and up-front but i struggle to tell whether she really was a pleasant person or not. Although Rebecca was the clear instigator of fight night 2/spit-gate, Jennifer imo was arguably really bad herself, constantly looking for the attention of the two hunks she had rapped around her finger which then would soon escalate into what would become Spit-Gate.

Like Saskia (BB6) I'm very divisive but a good short-lived villain of the series (:

11. Maysoon
People will be baffled to see I have Maysoon in my top 11, and I am baffled too:laugh::laugh: She is undoubtedly one of the most forgettable housemates in BBUK history but I had a bit of a soft spot for her. Maysoon came into a group of 15 full of big characters and I feel had she come into a series that had a smaller calibre of big characters Maysoon may have stood out more?

Although a sweet girl and her walk was quite hilarious (Big Brother was probably delighted about the decision lol) Still a very forgettable housemate but a very stunning girl (;

10. Stephanie
A good first boot in which i was sad to see go first considering we could have had a very painless Luke Marsden experience had he been evicted. I felt for Steph in the cover-story secret mission, being forced to pretend to be in a relationship with a 42 year-old man and being expected to sleep next to him must be really unsettling.

She seemed like a lovely girl and i would have loved to have seen what she would have offered had she stayed.

9. Kathreya
Kathreya was doing well for me for a while and i did find her a bit over-hated. She was harmless and was quite endearing at times. At the same time She was very much like Pete (BB7) in the sense were you near the end of the 13 weeks you do question in many ways whether she was actually all she was cranked up to be. Rachel got a lot of slack in the series for being fake but Kat imo was the biggest suspect of that. At the same time I find it rather hilarious that this sweet innocent lady from Thailand would end up being this secretly manipulative schemer of a person. You do have to hand it to her in a way as she did help destroy any associate of the whisper club and managed to help take her b-block alliance all the way to the end.

Plus her eviction was hirarious:laugh::laugh:

8. Dale
What a surprise! At first i was unsure what to make of Dale, he came across to me as the stereo-typical pretty boy with very little else to offer, and he immediately proved that with his role in spit-gate clearly trying to impress Jenn and acting like a total knob pretty much thinking there was nothing wrong with what Dennis had done.

But after his lynch pin is evicted, Dale become's a lot more rootable as a housemate and did have some really good moments inc. Trying to get nominated so he would not look like one of the boring ones:laugh::laugh: Standing up to Darnell when he screamed in Rachel's face because he wasn't getting his own way.

Quite an elusive housemate but he seemed like a nice guy in the end and turned out quite good (:

7. Belinda
What a wonderful nutty housemate! Belinda Belinda Belinda was clearly a very eccentric character, her experience on the exercise bike and her post description of it is something you can never prepare yourself for! Her constant snoring and singing was very endearing.

Plus she also seemed like a really lovely person. She really should have lasted a lot longer!

6. Rachel
Rachel's win is very divisive. Some say she should not have won, Some believe she was a great winner. Although she was not my overall favourite it is just really refreshing to see a nice person win and I do believe she is a genuine person, put it this way, I prefer her 10 times more than the likes Brian Belo, Dowling, Pete, Cameron Stout and Craig and she is imo one of the best CH4 winners.

She had some funny moments, but i think mainly in a series that was full of wankers she was one of the very few gems in the rough and seemed to really care about housemates feelings and i felt for her when she was constantly getting hounded by the likes of Rex and Luke (Behind her back, cowardly ****)

Not an A-Class housemate but a lovely girl. At times maybe a tad over-rated but undoubtedly a good winner!

5. Rex
Urghh I have to admit if this series ended after Luke's eviction, Rex would have for sure solidified himself as a top ten housemates of all time even dare i say top 5! The first weeks of Rex are incredible and he has some of the best moments his breakout being him smudging Jen's painting of Stuart and ended up looking one of the best in the whole Spit-Gate, playing Big Brother at his own game by ordering 57 ever changing special prizes:laugh: and just in general being a wind-up merchant king!

Then Nicole enters, and Rex's housemate substance is washed away very soon and ends up solidifying his downfall. And even when Nicole leaves, He takes his winding up to another level by hounding tf out of Sara which was totally unnecessary but in his defence, he was nowhere near as bad as Darnell who started calling her names under the sun.

Near the end Rex does reignite his original spark but sadly its too little too late for him to make a true comeback.

Overall whether you like Rex or not You cannot deny he was an incredible housemate that did carry a massive part of the show. He is cold and unlikable and you arnt really meant to like him as a person but he was an amazing villain who yes at times i agree went too far but was still a very valuable housemate to the series narrative. His feud with Mikey was tv-gold!

4. Lisa
I'm Sorry but I love Lisa! I get that she may be a little over-hyped but she was hilarious and such a goofy housemate! Some brilliant moments come to mind like randomly breaking out and cackling away to herself in the security guards booth :joker::joker: , her bizarre stories and amazing facial expressions.

And like Epic said the friendship she had with Sara near the end had to be the realest most genuine friendship of the series and that bittersweet moment they are both up for eviction then turned to a moment of satisfactory as they both split and win 25k each in a Prisoners Dilemmas twist!

Other moments like getting engaged to Mario was a really sweet moment in the show and overall just a really kind lovely presence and edition to this series.

3. Mario
The Health and Safety guru!! Mario truly was an incredible 5 week housemate that had some of the best quotes in the series

'Mikeys got a diability open your'e eyes!'

'Just dunking my custard cream into this hot juicy tea'

It wasn't just quotes that made Mario fantastic, it was mainly his passion for health and safety and how serious he took everyone's health and safety!! He was a really caring father figure of the group who doesn't get enough credit for the way He handled Spit-Gate.

I loved his friendship with Mikey aswell <3 Himself Mikey and Lisa were the original holy trinity (:

But overall a brilliant housemate who should NOT have been evicted over ****ing Rebecca!!


This one is very close.......


2. Mikey
Yes this was such a difficult one but in the end Mikey is in no.2! What I think I love the most about Mikey was the fact that he went into the house being made look like the innocent one due to his condition but ended up being this foul-mouthed savage that any moment he had possible to destroy Rex, he would never disappoint. Examples of these would consist of...

Telling Rex to bugger off home after Rex constantly complains about wanting to leave.

When in an arguement with Rex and Nicole about B-Block, Mikey makes an incredible comeback at Rex by exposing him for trying to get it on with Stephanie in the very beginning causing another Nicole and Rex fight:laugh:

And aswell him refering to Alexandra as Alec was hilarious to and ranting about Dale being a 'BORIN BASTARD'.

There was also the chilli moment and getting hit by a tennis ball
'****AN HELL, ****AN IDIAT, THAT WAS ****AN SORE, WHO THA **** DID THA'

Mikey just had some incredible iconic moments and in theory should be no.1 which leads me into my overall favourite of this series <3

1. Sara
What a difficult choice, but Sara is no1!
A surprising and very unlikely choice, Sara came into the house at the end of week 4 and there was something about her, I instantly loved, She was the pretty, gorgeous tactile flirtatious queen who also had a heart of gold, and her friendship with Darnell on her part was very genuine.

I think what makes Sara just about beat Mikey for me is she is the one person in the end that I feel I truly root for to win. The Infamous Week 12 that see's her get mercilessly hounded at the hands of Darnell and Rex made for uncomfortable viewing and the way she handled herself and standing up to them was really iconic. From that point you knew Sara was the under-dog of the series and as stated in Lisa's write-up it was a very satifying moment seeing two great friends split 50k and win 25k each for eachother.

Again going back to the week 12 scandal with Darnell, at first it comes across frustrating that Sara accepts Darnells apologies and acts like nothing happened but it really shows the kind of wonderful person that she is. Strong Willed, Forgiving, Vivacious, Funny and a massive sweet heart.

Sara is a slow burner but once you watch this series you will see what a lovely fantastic housemate she is <3

Overall Thoughts
Wow! So this took a lot quicker than usual, 13 week series usually take me months to get done but i got my act together with this one and finished the series a lot quicker than to be expected.

Big Brother 9 has a very mixed to negative reception on here, but tbh with you I absolutely loved this series, there was something about it that makes me have such a soft spot for it. It was a series that to me had so many iconic moments and after watching BB8 (which i didnt really like) this was a real breath of fresh air, filled with group full of diverse likeable unlikeable people with possibly the best f4/f3 ever!!

Two major flaws in this series happen to be its inconsistency and the fact it has a highly inlikeable cast but weridly enough neither of those flaws bothered me too much. The cast was real mixed baggage of likeable and unlikable personalities but it also had some amazing heroes (i.e Rachel Mikey, Sara, Lisa, Mario) and some brilliant villains (Rex, Alexandra, Jennifer)

The dynamics changed a lot throughout the 13 weeks and I'm glad we got to see the late entrants, Sara, Maysoon and Belinda enter earlier than usual rather than come like the halfway housemates from the year before.

It is undoubtedly an underrated series on here and doesn't get enough credit, it's defining moment is spit-gate imo the one moment that had me standing up while watching it was that shocking!

The tasks were unreal aswell, my favourites being shock suits, the table tennis task and the treadmill task too.

But yeah I loved this series of Big Brother and am glad to say its in my top 5 favourite series of all time <3

Yeah ahah I'm incredibly generous when it comes to my rankings and so far atm hardly any of them have given me a reason to dislike them but that will definitly come to a change i assure you! ahah.

And yeah Charlie just seemed a bit cringe and try-hard and yeah Saffia's vt was pretty ****.

I do not know where they found Angel but they did a bloody good job of casting her! What a strange lady :laugh::laugh::laugh: cant wait to see what she has to offer!

7. Belinda
What a wonderful nutty housemate! Belinda Belinda Belinda was clearly a very eccentric character, her experience on the exercise bike and her post description of it is something you can never prepare yourself for! Her constant snoring and singing was very endearing.

Plus she also seemed like a really lovely person. She really should have lasted a lot longer!

6. Rachel
Rachel's win is very divisive. Some say she should not have won, Some believe she was a great winner. Although she was not my overall favourite it is just really refreshing to see a nice person win and I do believe she is a genuine person, put it this way, I prefer her 10 times more than the likes Brian Belo, Dowling, Pete, Cameron Stout and Craig and she is imo one of the best CH4 winners.

She had some funny moments, but i think mainly in a series that was full of wankers she was one of the very few gems in the rough and seemed to really care about housemates feelings and i felt for her when she was constantly getting hounded by the likes of Rex and Luke (Behind her back, cowardly ****)

Not an A-Class housemate but a lovely girl. At times maybe a tad over-rated but undoubtedly a good winner!

5. Rex
Urghh I have to admit if this series ended after Luke's eviction, Rex would have for sure solidified himself as a top ten housemates of all time even dare i say top 5! The first weeks of Rex are incredible and he has some of the best moments his breakout being him smudging Jen's painting of Stuart and ended up looking one of the best in the whole Spit-Gate, playing Big Brother at his own game by ordering 57 ever changing special prizes:laugh: and just in general being a wind-up merchant king!

Then Nicole enters, and Rex's housemate substance is washed away very soon and ends up solidifying his downfall. And even when Nicole leaves, He takes his winding up to another level by hounding tf out of Sara which was totally unnecessary but in his defence, he was nowhere near as bad as Darnell who started calling her names under the sun.

Near the end Rex does reignite his original spark but sadly its too little too late for him to make a true comeback.

Overall whether you like Rex or not You cannot deny he was an incredible housemate that did carry a massive part of the show. He is cold and unlikable and you arnt really meant to like him as a person but he was an amazing villain who yes at times i agree went too far but was still a very valuable housemate to the series narrative. His feud with Mikey was tv-gold!

4. Lisa
I'm Sorry but I love Lisa! I get that she may be a little over-hyped but she was hilarious and such a goofy housemate! Some brilliant moments come to mind like randomly breaking out and cackling away to herself in the security guards booth :joker::joker: , her bizarre stories and amazing facial expressions.

And like Epic said the friendship she had with Sara near the end had to be the realest most genuine friendship of the series and that bittersweet moment they are both up for eviction then turned to a moment of satisfactory as they both split and win 25k each in a Prisoners Dilemmas twist!

Other moments like getting engaged to Mario was a really sweet moment in the show and overall just a really kind lovely presence and edition to this series.

3. Mario
The Health and Safety guru!! Mario truly was an incredible 5 week housemate that had some of the best quotes in the series

'Mikeys got a diability open your'e eyes!'

'Just dunking my custard cream into this hot juicy tea'

It wasn't just quotes that made Mario fantastic, it was mainly his passion for health and safety and how serious he took everyone's health and safety!! He was a really caring father figure of the group who doesn't get enough credit for the way He handled Spit-Gate.

I loved his friendship with Mikey aswell <3 Himself Mikey and Lisa were the original holy trinity (:

But overall a brilliant housemate who should NOT have been evicted over ****ing Rebecca!!

2. Mikey
Yes this was such a difficult one but in the end Mikey is in no.2! What I think I love the most about Mikey was the fact that he went into the house being made look like the innocent one due to his condition but ended up being this foul-mouthed savage that any moment he had possible to destroy Rex, he would never disappoint. Examples of these would consist of...

Telling Rex to bugger off home after Rex constantly complains about wanting to leave.

When in an arguement with Rex and Nicole about B-Block, Mikey makes an incredible comeback at Rex by exposing him for trying to get it on with Stephanie in the very beginning causing another Nicole and Rex fight:laugh:

And aswell him refering to Alexandra as Alec was hilarious to and ranting about Dale being a 'BORIN BASTARD'.

There was also the chilli moment and getting hit by a tennis ball
'****AN HELL, ****AN IDIAT, THAT WAS ****AN SORE, WHO THA **** DID THA'

Mikey just had some incredible iconic moments and in theory should be no.1 which leads me into my overall favourite of this series <3

1. Sara
What a difficult choice, but Sara is no1!
A surprising and very unlikely choice, Sara came into the house at the end of week 4 and there was something about her, I instantly loved, She was the pretty, gorgeous tactile flirtatious queen who also had a heart of gold, and her friendship with Darnell on her part was very genuine.

I think what makes Sara just about beat Mikey for me is she is the one person in the end that I feel I truly root for to win. The Infamous Week 12 that see's her get mercilessly hounded at the hands of Darnell and Rex made for uncomfortable viewing and the way she handled herself and standing up to them was really iconic. From that point you knew Sara was the under-dog of the series and as stated in Lisa's write-up it was a very satifying moment seeing two great friends split 50k and win 25k each for eachother.

Again going back to the week 12 scandal with Darnell, at first it comes across frustrating that Sara accepts Darnells apologies and acts like nothing happened but it really shows the kind of wonderful person that she is. Strong Willed, Forgiving, Vivacious, Funny and a massive sweet heart.

Sara is a slow burner but once you watch this series you will see what a lovely fantastic housemate she is <3

Overall Thoughts
Wow! So this took a lot quicker than usual, 13 week series usually take me months to get done but i got my act together with this one and finished the series a lot quicker than to be expected.

Big Brother 9 has a very mixed to negative reception on here, but tbh with you I absolutely loved this series, there was something about it that makes me have such a soft spot for it. It was a series that to me had so many iconic moments and after watching BB8 (which i didnt really like) this was a real breath of fresh air, filled with group full of diverse likeable unlikeable people with possibly the best f4/f3 ever!!

Two major flaws in this series happen to be its inconsistency and the fact it has a highly inlikeable cast but weridly enough neither of those flaws bothered me too much. The cast was real mixed baggage of likeable and unlikable personalities but it also had some amazing heroes (i.e Rachel Mikey, Sara, Lisa, Mario) and some brilliant villains (Rex, Alexandra, Jennifer)

The dynamics changed a lot throughout the 13 weeks and I'm glad we got to see the late entrants, Sara, Maysoon and Belinda enter earlier than usual rather than come like the halfway housemates from the year before.

It is undoubtedly an underrated series on here and doesn't get enough credit, it's defining moment is spit-gate imo the one moment that had me standing up while watching it was that shocking!

The tasks were unreal aswell, my favourites being shock suits, the table tennis task and the treadmill task too.

But yeah I loved this series of Big Brother and am glad to say its in my top 5 favourite series of all time <3

This was a really entertaining first week! Chanelle has been a star from the launch and has had great, funny moments in every episode. BB13-Day 9

After my CBB6 rewatch, I have just started rewatching BB13. I'm currently up to Day 9. So far it's been a really strong start to the series.

The house hasn't divided into two groups yet but there have been plenty of arguments. The cracks in the group dynamics are starting to form since Lauren fell out with the girls and Arron, Luke S and Connor are getting annoyed by Deana. I forgot how much I LOVED Lydia in these first few weeks, I can't believe she leaves so early into the series :bawling:

21. Dennis
I dont feel its worth too much time to adress my utter distaste for this grotty grim scummy individual. Even before Spit-Gate he was totally unlikeable picking on Mohamed for no reason, accusing him of Homophobia and just being a prick in general.

Obviously what sticks out the worst about Dennis as mentioned is spit-gate. Spitting in Mohamed's face has to be one of the most scummiest things I have ever seen a housemate do and his ejection was totally justified. Without question a botom 5 housemate and so far stands as my second least favourite housemate ever with Connor (BB13) being just ahead.

20. Luke
I'm sorry to those that are Luke stans but I honestly could not stand this annoying, hypocritical, sneaky, ****-stirring little bollocks for the eight weeks he was in there for.

I didn't immediately hate Luke very quickly on, in fact I predicted he would be a rather likeable endearing character but no! all he did for eight weeks was constantly go on about people going in for the 'Cheque', constantly **** stir, and jump from group to group and plant seeds in the minds of others on how much he hates the likes of Rachel.

It is undoubtably rewarding that A. Luke is evicted before Rachel and B. Rachel ends up winning and C. The crowd start chanting jealous at Luke as he shows his pure envy in Rachel winning.

Plus he had this insufferable showmance with Rebecca. I mean imagine actually putting two of the most annoying housemates together. A match made in heaven is all i'll say.

Anyway I did not like Luke one bit maybe I'm being harsh but he was a prick.

19. Sylvia
A really boring and tedious member of the whisper club. People say Sylvia was a great villain but what all did she do? All I can remember was her being Alexandra's Hench woman, being a bitch to Mikey for simply asking to keep the noise down in the bedroom and acting as if Mikey is attacking her and being so desperate to try and start and showmance with late-comer Stuart, which failed hard.

18. Nicole
Ugh what a terrible casting choice! I never really understood what the producer thought they would get out of Nicole being Rex's Girlfriend. All she did was moan and ruin Rex as a housemate and his chances of winning although it could be argued that it had nothing to do with that. I still strongly believe it had a big part. All she did was moan and threaten to go home because she had to wash up (Tbf that did make me scream) but honestly she was so tiresome and should have just come in as a guest or something without putting us through three weeks of torment.

17. Alexandra
This is one I'm dreading, As good of a villain as Alexandra was and was a big catalyst in making the first two weeks very entertaining, She was just too dark for me. Apart from her constant 'rememba I told you' one liners, She was almost too horrible of a person for me to enjoy. Not a pleasant person one bit and her ejection was totally justified imo.

16. Darnell
One I should be putting in red after some of the awful things he said towards the end, but in the end I do not think Darnell is an awful person, but incredibly troubled and challenged to the point were it makes him impossible to enjoy. Hell I'm surprised he even got passed the ****ing psych test.

Of course what helps Darnell from getting into hate territory is his involvement in spit-gate, showing how morally righteous he was and storming into the bedroom and making Dale and Stuart that were licking Jen's arse and putting them in their place for defending a scum-bag who spat in someone's face. Honestly this one moment could have won Darnell the show.

But sadly for Darnell, that momentum is short-lived and we are then left weeks upon weeks of self-pitying insecurities and his worst point being his treatment of Sara. Sara was with everyone very flirtatious and tactile and Darnell trying to get with her and then turning on her for no good reason by calling her 'ugly bitch' and 'slut' made me root for Sara and make me genuinely feel really bad and sorry for her. And then contradicting himself saying he only said what he said to Sara to make her look good. Um no **** off Darnell that is bull****!

But yeah overall not much else to say other than I had to put up with the majority of the 13 weeks of Darnell feeling sorry for himself and at times being a massive arsehole.

15. Rebecca
Ugh what an annoying gob****e that lasted longer than I thought! ****ing 7 weeks if you don't mind! I may have appreciated her a lot more had she gone out around Week 5 were she managed to beat Mario with over 70% of the vote?????? Like TF?

She was just incredibly annoying who started a showmance with Luke and really showed what an awful housemate he was, who pretty much could not do without her and became nothing. Rebecca also doesnt get enough hate for instigating fight night 2/spit-gate. It annoys me to death when people justify her action because she was 'intoxicated' with booze but that's no excuse imo.

But yeah pretty rubbish housemate overall

14. Stuart
I don't dislike Stuart but I do not exactly like him either. Such a frustrating pointless late intruder. The whole idea of casting Stuart was clearly to put house hunk Dale in competion with over Jennifer but that storyline completely backfired and Jen was evicted after only two weeks of him being in there.

But what I dislike the most about Stuart as a housemate is that he really didnt seem to want to be in there at all. Like two ****ing weeks into the show apparently he wanted to leave and by the end he used tactics to make sure he would face eviction, this triggered me so much, like this is the experience of a life-time you might as well walk and have us get a rather promising replacement rather than wait until you are evicted. And lets face it whether you like Dale or not He should not have been evicted over Stuart.

All in all a pointless housemate who wanted to leave all the time with his best moment was him leaving and diving into the middle of the crowd expecting to be cached instead it wasnt that way:laugh::laugh:. But yeah pretty crappy.

13. Mohamed
I am very divisive about Mohamed, At first I felt sorry for him that some of the housemates were giving him a hard time all the time, (Dennis, Alexandra, Luke ,Rebecca, Dale) But once all these housemates left you can in many ways see why they hated him in the first place.

I also found him pretty repulsive and greedy asf eating Mikey's bogey for a cider and his yes man attitude towards the whole Sara bullying scandal was very frustrating. Also might I add i do wonder whether or not he could have actually got to the end if he didnt have the likes of Kat, Darnell and Rex to protect him? I think not!

Mohamed should be lower tbh and should be below average but all in all I didn't really mind him.

12. Jennifer
What a divisive housemate! I did like what she stood for in being honest and up-front but i struggle to tell whether she really was a pleasant person or not. Although Rebecca was the clear instigator of fight night 2/spit-gate, Jennifer imo was arguably really bad herself, constantly looking for the attention of the two hunks she had rapped around her finger which then would soon escalate into what would become Spit-Gate.

Like Saskia (BB6) I'm very divisive but a good short-lived villain of the series (:

11. Maysoon
People will be baffled to see I have Maysoon in my top 11, and I am baffled too:laugh::laugh: She is undoubtedly one of the most forgettable housemates in BBUK history but I had a bit of a soft spot for her. Maysoon came into a group of 15 full of big characters and I feel had she come into a series that had a smaller calibre of big characters Maysoon may have stood out more?

Although a sweet girl and her walk was quite hilarious (Big Brother was probably delighted about the decision lol) Still a very forgettable housemate but a very stunning girl (;

10. Stephanie
A good first boot in which i was sad to see go first considering we could have had a very painless Luke Marsden experience had he been evicted. I felt for Steph in the cover-story secret mission, being forced to pretend to be in a relationship with a 42 year-old man and being expected to sleep next to him must be really unsettling.

She seemed like a lovely girl and i would have loved to have seen what she would have offered had she stayed.

9. Kathreya
Kathreya was doing well for me for a while and i did find her a bit over-hated. She was harmless and was quite endearing at times. At the same time She was very much like Pete (BB7) in the sense were you near the end of the 13 weeks you do question in many ways whether she was actually all she was cranked up to be. Rachel got a lot of slack in the series for being fake but Kat imo was the biggest suspect of that. At the same time I find it rather hilarious that this sweet innocent lady from Thailand would end up being this secretly manipulative schemer of a person. You do have to hand it to her in a way as she did help destroy any associate of the whisper club and managed to help take her b-block alliance all the way to the end.

Plus her eviction was hirarious:laugh::laugh:

8. Dale

The first weeks of Rex are incredible and he has some of the best moments his breakout being him smudging Jen's painting of Stuart and ended up looking one of the best in the whole Spit-Gate, playing Big Brother at his own game by ordering 57 ever changing special prizes:laugh: and just in general being a wind-up merchant king!

Then Nicole enters, and Rex's housemate substance is washed away very soon and ends up solidifying his downfall. And even when Nicole leaves, He takes his winding up to another level by hounding tf out of Sara which was totally unnecessary but in his defence, he was nowhere near as bad as Darnell who started calling her names under the sun.

Near the end Rex does reignite his original spark but sadly its too little too late for him to make a true comeback.

Overall whether you like Rex or not You cannot deny he was an incredible housemate that did carry a massive part of the show. He is cold and unlikable and you arnt really meant to like him as a person but he was an amazing villain who yes at times i agree went too far but was still a very valuable housemate to the series narrative. His feud with Mikey was tv-gold!

4. Lisa
I'm Sorry but I love Lisa! I get that she may be a little over-hyped but she was hilarious and such a goofy housemate! Some brilliant moments come to mind like randomly breaking out and cackling away to herself in the security guards booth :joker::joker: , her bizarre stories and amazing facial expressions.

And like Epic said the friendship she had with Sara near the end had to be the realest most genuine friendship of the series and that bittersweet moment they are both up for eviction then turned to a moment of satisfactory as they both split and win 25k each in a Prisoners Dilemmas twist!

Other moments like getting engaged to Mario was a really sweet moment in the show and overall just a really kind lovely presence and edition to this series.

3. Mario
The Health and Safety guru!! Mario truly was an incredible 5 week housemate that had some of the best quotes in the series

'Mikeys got a diability open your'e eyes!'

'Just dunking my custard cream into this hot juicy tea'

It wasn't just quotes that made Mario fantastic, it was mainly his passion for health and safety and how serious he took everyone's health and safety!! He was a really caring father figure of the group who doesn't get enough credit for the way He handled Spit-Gate.

I loved his friendship with Mikey aswell <3 Himself Mikey and Lisa were the original holy trinity (:

But overall a brilliant housemate who should NOT have been evicted over ****ing Rebecca!!

2. Mikey
Yes this was such a difficult one but in the end Mikey is in no.2! What I think I love the most about Mikey was the fact that he went into the house being made look like the innocent one due to his condition but ended up being this foul-mouthed savage that any moment he had possible to destroy Rex, he would never disappoint. Examples of these would consist of...

Telling Rex to bugger off home after Rex constantly complains about wanting to leave.

When in an arguement with Rex and Nicole about B-Block, Mikey makes an incredible comeback at Rex by exposing him for trying to get it on with Stephanie in the very beginning causing another Nicole and Rex fight:laugh:

And aswell him refering to Alexandra as Alec was hilarious to and ranting about Dale being a 'BORIN BASTARD'.

There was also the chilli moment and getting hit by a tennis ball
'****AN HELL, ****AN IDIAT, THAT WAS ****AN SORE, WHO THA **** DID THA'

Mikey just had some incredible iconic moments and in theory should be no.1 which leads me into my overall favourite of this series <3

1. Sara
What a difficult choice, but Sara is no1!
A surprising and very unlikely choice, Sara came into the house at the end of week 4 and there was something about her, I instantly loved, She was the pretty, gorgeous tactile flirtatious queen who also had a heart of gold, and her friendship with Darnell on her part was very genuine.

I think what makes Sara just about beat Mikey for me is she is the one person in the end that I feel I truly root for to win. The Infamous Week 12 that see's her get mercilessly hounded at the hands of Darnell and Rex made for uncomfortable viewing and the way she handled herself and standing up to them was really iconic. From that point you knew Sara was the under-dog of the series and as stated in Lisa's write-up it was a very satifying moment seeing two great friends split 50k and win 25k each for eachother.

Again going back to the week 12 scandal with Darnell, at first it comes across frustrating that Sara accepts Darnells apologies and acts like nothing happened but it really shows the kind of wonderful person that she is. Strong Willed, Forgiving, Vivacious, Funny and a massive sweet heart.

Sara is a slow burner but once you watch this series you will see what a lovely fantastic housemate she is <3

Overall Thoughts
Wow! So this took a lot quicker than usual, 13 week series usually take me months to get done but i got my act together with this one and finished the series a lot quicker than to be expected.

Big Brother 9 has a very mixed to negative reception on here, but tbh with you I absolutely loved this series, there was something about it that makes me have such a soft spot for it. It was a series that to me had so many iconic moments and after watching BB8 (which i didnt really like) this was a real breath of fresh air, filled with group full of diverse likeable unlikeable people with possibly the best f4/f3 ever!!

Two major flaws in this series happen to be its inconsistency and the fact it has a highly inlikeable cast but weridly enough neither of those flaws bothered me too much. The cast was real mixed baggage of likeable and unlikable personalities but it also had some amazing heroes (i.e Rachel Mikey, Sara, Lisa, Mario) and some brilliant villains (Rex, Alexandra, Jennifer)

The dynamics changed a lot throughout the 13 weeks and I'm glad we got to see the late entrants, Sara, Maysoon and Belinda enter earlier than usual rather than come like the halfway housemates from the year before.

It is undoubtedly an underrated series on here and doesn't get enough credit, it's defining moment is spit-gate imo the one moment that had me standing up while watching it was that shocking!

The tasks were unreal aswell, my favourites being shock suits, the table tennis task and the treadmill task too.

But yeah I loved this series of Big Brother and am glad to say its in my top 5 favourite series of all time <3

Having just watched Fight Night (the edited H/L show version) again, it's clear to see that Nadia was the one most at fault there. I mean, all of Victor, Marco, Jason and Emma acted terribly, but Nadia kept egging on Marco & Emma, and was very much in Jason's face. And then of course you have the incident with Vanessa where she apparently hit her :skull:

I wish Jason did take Marco's head off though. What an unbearable weapon.

Might I add, that Nadia was also probably the only person to feel total guilt and regret from what they did. It was very big of her to be the one to initiate the apologies. :clap2:

Victor and Jason were definitely getting ready for Fight Night 2 for when she'd returned, the former in particular. Him and Emma both made death threats to each other and they both spat at each other? Or was it just Emma? Either way, it would've gotten physical between them. No way were they just gonna ignore each other for the remainder of their time in there.

Nadia, Marco, Michelle, Ahmed and Stuart were all really close to her, they were all just hoping she would return to them. Vanessa, Dan and Shell weren't friends with her so they probably were hoping she wouldn't return to avoid another brawl.

Got to say, I am shocked at my rankings in my first few days as it is far from what i expected coming into the show on the re-watch.

Shahbaz is honestly so terrible, I can't even get my head around it. He hogs the limelight everywhere. I don't like his touchy feelyness, and I don't like the way he put Glyn on the spot like that.

What Glyn said may be controversial even more now to be said on TV, "I don't like men touching me", but Shahbaz should have respected that instead of hinting he won't stop. Its weird seeing how Glyn is here as he looks so lost.

George is a nothing HM. Nothing to him whastsoever. Same goes for Mikey.

Sezer is a prick, but not everything so far has been bad from him. He was the only one alongside Imogen and Pete who went to see if he was OK when he was crying in bed. But he was told to F off.

Surprised i had the likes of Lea so high up, but she makes sense, and kudos to Dawn for calling out Shahbaz... also the P word and the N word in the same sentence! woaaah

Nothing major bar the water incident from Nikki but outside of that she has meshed well with the others, and i like her teasing of Sezer. I was never a huge fan of her in this series, so nice to see what i thought the first few days.

Imogen as my fave you say? What? I Agree. I know i ended up liking her, but didn't know how nice she was early on. She made sure Shahbaz was alright, didn't tend to pick on him (yet), she seems nice. And i find her very normal, down to earth etc...

This will all change though.

One thing I like about this series is how that even though there are plenty arguments/screaming matches between the housemates, they are still able to sit down and actually talk with one another. Take for example, Marco, Victor and Jason chatting (bitching about Becki lol) at 2AM when just a day before, Victor and Marco had a big argument and Jason and Marco HATE one another

I really think among so many "villains" and not very pleasant characters throughout the many years of BB, some people get lost until you re-watch series. George is honestly a piece of crap. No redeeming qualities. He bitches and uses horrible words to describe people (Nikki) and then goes to talk to her, hugs her and brings her water when she was upset. I think he's a bellend.

The 2nd part of my list remains unchanged really, only movements due to the new arrivals.

Nikki is at top to my surprise, she made the episode for me really. I don't know why she was so funny when she started picking the food and says "itss a bit dry", right in front of Grace's face :joker:

Mixed bag there, mix of really entertaining (Sezer going) and really uncomfortable (the Plastics).

The others reactions to Sezer's boos! :joker: They looked terrified at how bad it was. "Bonnie did not get that!", and Aisleyne walking away trying not to laugh haha. She really is getting on their wick! :laugh:

The girls have turned up their hate for the newbies now Sezer has gone. Grace calling Ais a "wigger" and Sam, a "he/she". Wow, how times have changed. People nowadays in reality would never say something like that even if they think it. So uncomfortable and nasty. Got to say, props to Mikey saying "don't say that, don't say that" to Grace after she said it. Nikki really is coming across as nasty, I like to think she grew in her other appearances. You can tell how her views are different in UBB, BB16 and BB Canada.

You can tell Grace is going to have a really bad week because of the reaction she will get in 7 days time. It's all about numbers for Grace, "i hope the next person is normal, and we can get them over to our side for the numbers". She cared more about losing power than she did over Sezer's eviction.

Thankfully not, he got more than 50% of a three-way eviction against Nadia and Michelle who were two of the favourites at that point, but I do think there's a scenario where he'd reach the final. It all depends on if Becki Judas Kissed someone who would've went over him and then how the rest of the evictions would pan out. But even if he did reach the end, I think he would've still lost to Nadia and his act would've been getting more stale with the public each week judging by his eviction percentage.

First time Ive ever watched BB5(seen a few clips obviously)

I watched the launch and the live task of nominating who doesnt get their suitcase

First impressions

Firstly it was good too see Davina at the helm at the peak of Big Brother. The Crowd was huge. It felt like an event. At the same time it felt underwhelming too it was subtle(guess I have the noisy channel 5 launches in my head)

It was interesting to see them play the audition process, in some of the audition rooms you saw housemates in the same room who were both going in. You also saw housemates that would be going in on later series, I saw Pete BB7 and Susie BB7.

The house on first impressions, yuk! Very small and very minimal. The couch area is gross.

On to the housemates now in the order they went in

Marco: overbearing and irritating
Ahmed: did he really slag off homosexuals on live tv(very 2004!)

Funny how they put them in first together

Jason: What an entrance outfit! I quite like him so far

Daniel: Bland not standing out to me

Stuart: Meh!!

Victor: already a very intersting guy

Vanessa: im not getting a lot from her she is hard to read

Emma: I adore her! My favourite so far!

Some of these HMs are disgusting. I completely forgot that they got so much worse after Sezer left. If anything, he was the glue holding the house from chaos. He goes and then everyone just permanently hates each other and think everyone else is out to get them!

The way everyone jumped on Sam and assumed she is evil bitch incarnate of Satan over a misunderstanding. She literally had no chance fitting. Its as if they had a meeting and discussed that she is the worst thing since Hitler. Why do they automatically assume that everything is her fault?

Grace mentioning Sam's name and then saying "i didn't even mention Sam, I'm not going to deliberately **** stir!", LIAR. Saying they hate Aisleyne and Sam for no reason. Lisa, Grace convincing Lea that Sam is a monster. And kudos to Richard for saying ENOUGH even to Lea. And now Lea has a problem with Richard. I don't know how the hell this came out of that late night chat the night before. Imogen even said she felt Sam was being genuine.

Sam makes a jokey comment that maybe wasn't great to Nikki, "she wants a man because she needs a good shagging" even though a lot of the other HMs could have said that and Nikki would have laughed. I think at that point, they had made up their minds that Sam was evil, so got angry with her. Aisleyne knew where it was going and quickly said "no Sam didn't mean it like that". I think Aisleyne was getting uncomfortable with the way they were treating Sam. Some of these HMs are disgusting. I completely forgot that they got so much worse after Sezer left. If anything, he was the glue holding the house from chaos. He goes and then everyone just permanently hates each other and think everyone else is out to get them!

The way everyone jumped on Sam and assumed she is evil bitch incarnate of Satan over a misunderstanding. She literally had no chance fitting. Its as if they had a meeting and discussed that she is the worst thing since Hitler. Why do they automatically assume that everything is her fault?

Grace mentioning Sam's name and then saying "i didn't even mention Sam, I'm not going to deliberately **** stir!", LIAR. Saying they hate Aisleyne and Sam for no reason. Lisa, Grace convincing Lea that Sam is a monster. And kudos to Richard for saying ENOUGH even to Lea. And now Lea has a problem with Richard. I don't know how the hell this came out of that late night chat the night before. Imogen even said she felt Sam was being genuine.

Sam makes a jokey comment that maybe wasn't great to Nikki, "she wants a man because she needs a good shagging" even though a lot of the other HMs could have said that and Nikki would have laughed. I think at that point, they had made up their minds that Sam was evil, so got angry with her. Aisleyne knew where it was going and quickly said "no Sam didn't mean it like that". I think Aisleyne was getting uncomfortable with the way they were treating Sam.
