BBUK Re-Watch/First Watch Thread (Part 3)

Ok so I've started CBB8 bc I've never ACTUALLY watched it and I know it gets a bad rep and it's supposed to be boring and dull and whatever but we'll see shall we! And we all know my horrific track record of getting through BBUK series so I'll probably have given up by Day 3 but for now:

This launch was a whole MESS but I'd be lying if I said if I didn't enjoy it :skull: :skull: :skull: everyone seems really likeable so far which I wasn't expecting

Some personal highlights / thoughts:
- Tara taking so long to get down the runway bc she’d take a step before turning and posing again and then when Brian goes to hug her but she turns and starts posing again lmaooo <3
- And then in comparison Amy stomps down and gets through it in about 5 seconds :love:
- Tara retelling her horrific story about how the door wouldn’t open for her everytime someone new enters the house <333
- Darren talking about Kerry & Amy in his VT and using his parrot’s feathers as hair extensions :skull:
- Sally calling out the Daily Mail whilst Brian is interviewing her ahhhh
- Tara just standing around awkwardly, she’s so out of place it’s a scream :love:
- Lucien is so FIT and charming ugh please don’t be a disappointment
- Pamela struggling to even get down the stairs in her massive heels before dancing and teetering her way down the runway
- Her just messing about as Brian tries to her interview her AHHH ‘we know you’re a clean freak, did you bring any rubber gloves with you? :smug:’ ‘oh darling you’re such a BUTTERCUP x’

I’m watching CBB22 now bc it’s the one year anniversary <3 I’m such a romantic queen x

Tbf I wasn’t really invested at the time because I was more excited for BB19; I skipped a few eps of CBB22 and didn’t really form an opinion on most of the cast as I was SIMPLY only caring for the upcoming BB19. HOWEVER that is one of my biggest regrets looking back x

So I’m gonna treat this as a first watch and try to forget any feelings I had on the HM’s whilst it was on air. The episodes I missed could make a difference! Xx

Haven't really posted in a while but I'm in the middle of BB17 funale and want to record these final thoughts before I do one last writeup!

-Laura's final week alol such a disaster :love: It's only fitting that someone who overcame so many odds and made it so far just happened to completely lose her mind and blow up in the eleventh hour, ultimately succumbing to the craziness that is Big Brother UK. Watching her slowly saunter around the house and confront every single person who voted to evict her during Annihilation Week, listening to her repeatedly tell Sam that she's not mad, just disappointed... it all just worked for me.
-HOWEVER, oh my god BOTS has been horrendous about her all season, repeatedly booing her and cheering wildly at whatever panelist slut shames her for the Marco bull**** and then just giving baseless statements like "what else is there left for her to do?!?! When she's not having sex she's BORING" like god BBUK sexism is such a particularly infuriating kind of sexism.
-Late game Jayne is sooooo much better than early game Jayne. She's so much more in her element when she's the kooky MORP grandma than when she's arguing with Natalie about black carers.
-Evelyn's meltdown after the courtroom task was everything to me. Just the aesthetic of her awkwardly walking in a trance towards the fire exit and breaking through while sobbing hysterically like...... wow :love: so glad the public finally came around to her and realized that she earned her place in the final.
-Jason like... I don't even know. I can't bring myself to fully hate him but oh my GOD I just can't stand to listen anymore to the whole ~is he a gameplayer~ debates and his subsequent meltdowns. I do think he's genuine in the fact his meltdowns are legitimate and not playing up to the cameras but like.. of course people are going to think you're a gameplayer when you say in front of everyone that you evicted Lateysha for tactical reasons? I don't know, part of me blames production more than Jason but his post-Charlie weeks are really a particularly egregious example of that late-C5 feedback loop where someone's actions and words are put under a microscope and repeatedly scrutinized to the point of insanity.

Also it sorta freaks me out when Roxanne said in her VT that she will unravel, then Emma saying to her “yeah everyone unravels but I can’t see it getting ugly with you” :skull:

BB17 Series Edgic, Ranking, and Thots:

1. Laura (duh. Dumb tit girl who had explicitly rough sex in the first days (!!) of the show turned CPM remorseful advocate of girl code and resident truth teller of the house turned star-crossed lover who enjoyed a transoceanic reunion with Long Lost Lover Bernardo turned OTTM psychopath who melted the **** down when people nominated her and tried to evict her and wouldn't save her. She wasn't mad, she was just disappointed. Laurita went through so many ****ing stages in that house and defied so many odds and she really was just such a joy to watch :love:)
2. Charlie (okay but where does she stand, Jason?!?!?! I've already highlighted this so many times in the thread but Charlie/Jason *IS* the pinnacle of human interaction. I never grew bored because their kind of strained relationship is exactly what I watch this show for. I think they both knew each other extremely well and they both ended up being right about each other -- Jason was correct that she's ****ing insane and a huge bunny boiler, but Charlie was also correct that he's in it to win it and playing the game and probably not being his true self)
3. Evelyn (immature and vapid and a blatant 20 year old who at first seemed like she was way in over her head, but she actually became a righteous force who stood up for what she believed in and was ALWAYS there to tear Jackson the **** down whenever he tried to pull some audience pandering bull**** about The Game and The Money. The Alex stuff was booooooring and dreadful, but Evelyn's just a fun personality who wanted to have a good time and wanted US to have a good time watching her)
4. Jayne (I wasn't really here for OTTM early stage Jayne when she was getting in weird racially-tinged fights with Natalie and having overrated DR meltdowns. I was here for fun kooky MORP house mum Jayne who did a great job of taking on the role of Mother Hen of the house once everyone decided that she was actually better than Chelsea and he ****ed right off)

Emma (borderline UTR a lot of the time but randomly became the unsung hero for waiting until after nominations to read Jacksina to filth :love: They were soooo awful to her but she held her own so calmly and rationally with arguments like "we're actually not that different of people, you're just using that as an excuse so you don't have to actually try to get to know me" and "yeah I nominated your girlfriend, I don't really like her and that's the point of nominations :duh:" :love: I was sad to see her get removed but I guess it's poetic that she suffered the same fate as her sister. Glad she was at least able to go out in a blaze of glory by spending fictitious house points to see her boyfriend twice and angering the entire house :joker:)
6. Victoria (I like her as much as you can like someone who quit on Day 4 after preaching about aliens and sobbing about the dead corpses of meat in the fridge?)
7. Jason (SOMEHOW still #7 for me?!?! He's not a very telegenic person but I appreciated his role for a while and loooooved the foil that her served to Our Charlie. However, once she was evicted and Annihilation Week happen he kinda got on my nerves a looooot and the show wouldn't stop with the continual loop of "but is Jason... a gameplayer?!?!?!" which would lead to him repeatedly threatening to quit. The last third was legitimately disappointing and taints my overall view of him but I still appreciate him as a random and unconventional winner)
8. Lateysha (ultimately harmless BUT she was undeniably the figurehead of the bitchy gross bedroom clique and her top allies were like... Georgina and Hughie and Sam and ****ing Ryan of all people so no thank you. That being said, she was decently charming in her own right and played her role as the DR narrator well? But ultimately I can't name any funny Lateysha moments or any instances where I really sided with her because she was just kinda empty airtime. Pleasant! But empty nonetheless.
9. Natalie (I was LOVING her for a while but quickly grew stale of her. However, this cast is the epitome of mixed feelings so she's still my #9 somehow?! Like, I don't even know *how* Natalie arguments would start but I would be eating a snack and next thing I know she'd be screeching at someone and going all GO COMB YOUR COMBOVER and TALK TO THE HAND and 'SCUSE ****ING ME and I was enthralled. That being said, it quickly became sooooo tiring and stale and I grew sick of it because it ran its course rather quickly. She was also kind of a gross slut-shamer when it came to Jayne despite being a sex worker and that's some Helen Wood bull**** that just irks me. Also like.... what compelled her to come on the show in the first place?! She was clearly miserable and lacked the social skills to socialize with anyone)
10. Hughie (I GUESS he's ostensibly nice and vulnerable but I still have no ****ing clue how he was a runaway odds favorite when he's basically Traveler Rodrigo. Like... he was insanely immature and needlessly inserted himself into conflict and never let things go AND he had gross sex with Ryan, but of course the public finds it endearing when he does it but hates Natalie and Laura when they do their stuff :rolleyes: I GUESS I'll give him some credit for turning the first question in his finale interview into an opportunity for him to resume a blood feud with Natalie, someone who he hadn't seen or presumably thought of in 32 days)
11. Andy (EXHAUSTING oh my god like his time in the house was exhausting to watch and then his fandom is ****ing INSANE. Frustratingly smug to the point where he's not even enjoyable when he's righteous, became a central character to the show despite not really being compelling enough to take on the role, the show forcing us to end like every third episode with an ANDY'S THOUGHTS DR session... eek. THAT BEING SAID, he was occasionally endearing and charming and righteous and there was THROWN OFF BUILDINGS so he's not entirely awful? Such a ****ing mixed bag though)
12. Alex (alol remember when I was a low-key Alex defender for the first two weeks? What a ****ing boring human! I'm intrigued by how the entire house was dickmatized by him and I still think he's A Decently Good Person which is rare on these shows, but the Evelyn thing was booooooring and he also mumbled something about her being a warm body for him to snuggle up against and then kick out of bed the next morning?)
13. Georgina (alol I think I've documented this so many times already. She unequivocally suuuuucks as a human because she's sour and bitchy and SAY IT TO MA FACE XX and hugely hypocritical but man did she not have an all-time great BBUK downfall?! Like her personality is tooootally red, but the circumstances of her stay are juuust enough to bump her up to yellow)

Ryan (okay so he totally should be in RED because he's repulsive to at least three of my five senses BUT part of me was expecting worse and I'm so embarrassed by this but part of me kinda found him funny and amusing?!?!?! Like BARELY maybe 7.5% of the time so not often at all and I still notionally hate him buuuut he's in yellow :3)
15 Sam (I actually have nothing to say. The most blatant example of MORM being the base rating of BBUK because you can get it so ****ing easily just by living your life)
16. Marco (actually much better than I feared but is still like..... permanently hyperactive as a result of brain damage from cocaine and clearly Not A Good Person and there's really no scenario where I would ever enjoy him)
17. Chelsea (I can't even put into words WHAT makes Chelsea particularly unpleasant, but he laughably saw himself as the alpha of the house while everyone else openly laughed at him and grew tired of him rather quickly. Also his entire existence was calling Jayne a gold-digging bitch so he's not even the good kind of MORN)
18. Andrew (just really gross on a human level and creepy and disgusting when you factor stuff from outside the show, but then in the show he just gave obnoxious DRs about how brilliant his gameplay was when everyone hated him and viewed him as a joke :rolleyes: useless)
19. Jackson (everything about him is so blatantly full of **** and consciously crafted to pander to the public, but for once the C5 feedback loop actually turned out okay because it led to like five separate instances where Evelyn read him for filth at least?! still got third place though somehow :skull:)

All in all it was a good and fun series that was largely enjoyable! The editing was balanced, house dynamics were pretty fleshed out, characters were prominent enough where you surely have opinions on most of them (albeit a lot of mine are huuugely mixed as you can see), and it was a nice return to Good Big Brother after the horrors that were 15 and 16. I will say that the show did kinda drag in the mid-end game, around the Charlie boot and Annihilation Week, but then the last week kinda got things back together again and improved and we were able to end on a pretty decent now. I think it's pretty on par with 18 where it has its fair share of flaws but ultimately a lot of things go right and it's probably about as good as modern BBUK could have been. Not sure which one I rate higher but they're probably right next to each other in my season ranking that doesn't really exist.

It’s really hard to rank the housemates this series, harder than any other series. Sandy and Alex my favourites by FAR, and I liked Alison. 4-6 are all pretty interchangeable because I am somewhat warming to them but not to the extent where I could put them in green? 7-10 interchangeable as they’re all quite boring people so far imo, and I get the impression that Jonny thinks he’s the best and he thinks he’s the leader of the house and I don’t like him.

Jade says she’s gutted about the eviction, so Alex asks her “Is it because Alison’s leaving or is it because you’d rather it was me or Sandy? :fan:” and she gets annoyed by it :joker: Normally I don’t like housemates who wind up the others because they are really tedious, but with Alex it’s funny :laugh:

Also Sandy’s positive thinking when the Rich/Poor task is being prepared :love: Housemates are told that they have to pack their belongings and strip the beds and this happens...

So my project for the last week of Summer 2019 was to tweak my BB18 edgic chart! There were some things I was skeptical about and wanted to fix so here's the new updated chart...

which hardly had any changes. Go figure! I guess the moral of the story is to trust your gut bc this was largely a colossal waste of time other than changing Imran and Andrew's overall ratings and then a few random cells here and there? It's funny because the main thing I was doubtful of was that pink block at the bottom of Deborah, Raph, and Isabelle all being MORP overall but like..... sorry, they are.

The one good thing that came out of this is that I can pretty confidently say that I think I like 18 more than 17. I think the lows are similar but the highs are much higher in 18 and the overall narrative DELIVERS with good overcoming evil.

Sophia vs Saffia is an underrated hoot. Sophia was such a good housemate, I loved how she completely destroyed saffia in that argument. I’m sad she was evicted so early into the series as I think she had so much potential.

Hate the clique of Charlie, Kris and Saffia. Charlie is such a bully and takes every opportunity to belittle someone and get involved in an argument when one of his mates are fighting with someone.

Glad saffia walked. I think she left because of what she heard Sophia said when they read out the nominations. She was scared of how she was being portrayed. I think she was also embarrassed kris kissed Sophie as she thought that something was going to happen between them.

The only thing that’s annoyed me about the two arguments in the eviction episode is that Big Brother split it up so early into the argument.

Carion vs sree got heated very quickly. Sree is like the annoying little brother, I don’t hate him but sometimes he can be hypocritical talking about the girls walking around with low cut tops when he runs around in his underwear.

As much as Pete is one of my favourite ever housemates, the Jodie Marsh treatment is the worst case of bullying in BBUK history, in my opinion. Utterly vile. And what makes it even worse for me is that in her interview she’s getting upset and she’s completely baffled as to why she’s been turfed out after a week of being bullied and Davina was just like ‘Well you did say you like having sex luv x’ and they showed her montages of her doing it as if it was all her fault.

An absolutely phenomenal series. The house itself was like an Ikea wet dream. The tasks were entertaining and were made even better by those failing the majority of them (miserably, might I add). The majority of the 16 housemates were narcissistic, vapid, shallow, cruel, confrontational and downright spiteful to varying degrees, yet made for an amazing series :clap1:. The boot order towards the end could definitely have had a bit of tweaking, however in a series filled with such huge personalities, things were never really affected too much. Probably the best series I’ve seen so far (but obviously things are always subject to change).

I also find the cast to be pretty interchangeable! My top 3 are cemented as such, but 4 through to 11 could easily be changed depending on my mood!:

Not much changes from week 1 to the end except Traci joins green (my favourite moment of hers is when the camera cuts to her randomly and she goes ‘Dennis am I fat?’whilst there’s drama going on :laugh2: The bottom 4 are all deplorable bullies. I guess people could call me a hypocrite for having Pete top but he was just so fascinating, beautiful and enjoyable to watch? His wit and entire presence is just gripping. Jodie was horrifically bullied and I’m happy the crowd were chanting her name on finale night<3 It’s sad that her and Chantelle were never friends after this series. Chantelle was a perfect winner :love: Preston was a great watch as well and was pretty righteous (except his needless bitching of Jodie) and Rula and Faria are nice enough although I found Faria’s final days in the house atrociously boring.

As you can tell from below Brian onwards, the decline is real. In order to cope, I watched back all of Narinder's post-eviction BBLB interviews up until this point. More amazing pieces of verbal hilarity from her. While there's a lot to comment on, like her explaining how she acted as hyper in her eviction as she did based on how upset she was to leave(</3). And once again a bucket load of quotes

Tbh i dont acctually dislike Shabnam, it's been surprsingly really tough to have least favourite out of this lot so far but I think its due to her attitude towards the experience asking to leave and admitting that she is only on the show to get some deals just didnt quite amuse me.
I probably sound like some cretin so forgive me in advance but I just love it to see people embrace the big brother experience, it's an experience of a life time which not many people get the opportunity, she does seem like a scream if kept in for longer but i do not like it when someone uses the experience just to get magazine deals and what not.

This series has taken me by surprise so far i'm really hooked!

Paul is literally so annoying. Maybe it's the amount of evictions he's survived, but he's become so self-righteous and sanctimonious about EVERYTHING. He clearly can't take a joke as well, Brian is someone who quote unquote "snaps" at everyone and Paul takes any minor joke as some sort of personal attack and thinks that he's being forthright in apparently calling Brian out. Such a douche. Props to Brian though for what looks like this being him maturing into not wanting to make the conflict worse for himself.

Big Brother 3

1. Tim - For anyone who’s read through my watched before, you might have noticed that I often enjoy posh housemates (I say often because I don’t want anyone thinking I enjoyed Freddie Fisher!!! :umm2:) and Tim was no exception. I had a good laugh at his expense while watching this series, at his self-righteousness and his general stupidity, which made for a hilarious housemate. :love: COMPRENDE?

2. Sandy - Sandy was a very strange man who was also very interesting to watch, and he was the first 20 days for me. I laughed a lot at the random **** that came out of his mouth on a regular basis, and although he walked, his exit was amazing and in return we got an equally good housemate. His random hatred of Jonny also made me laugh too.

3. Alex - When he first came on screen complaining about how his modelling career for Armani was overshadowed by the 9/11 attacks (:skull:), I knew I was in for an experience with this one. Alex is an intriguing character with observations that are thought-provoking but also witty too. I also really liked his friendship with Sandy and Tim - it’s just a shame the three of them were never in the house at the same time.

4. Lynne - What an underrated scream :love: Going from turning your VT into a flat tour, to ranting about heroin and how it’s scum of the earth, to calling Spencer out for being cocky, to threatening to chop his dick off the next day, is an arc that I really appreciate and the fact that she was evicted over Jade is a tragedy. </3

5. Adele - Adele was a slow burner for me, but I like that because the feeling of going from not getting why someone is as popular as they are to realising why they are is a satisfying one. It’s probably not the reason why I should like somebody but threatening to “deck” Jade made me howl as I wasn’t expecting it and I was there for Adele from there on out. :clap2:

6. Kate - Idk she’s just fun and doesn’t take herself seriously and I like that? Not an amazing housemate but a likeable one nonetheless and a decent winner.

7. Alison - She seemed like a good laugh but she had to go for two reasons - the first being Alexander Sibley and the second being Alexander Cumming. But now she is probably the most successful BB housemate so who really won?

8. Sunita - She came, had a go at Jade, and then she left.

9. Sophie - I literally have ZERO opinion on her whatsoever, sorry. :worry:

10. Spencer - Ehhh idk, the only times I ever appreciated him being there was when he was getting bollocked by Big Brother, or getting bollocked by Lynne Moncrieff. A pretty pointless housemate.

11. Lee - I liked him at the start, then it just went downhill from there. I don’t think he was a *terrible* housemate but a below average one for sure.

12. PJ - For someone who I’m apparently supposed to hate, I surprisingly have no opinion on PJ. He was an arse for like a week then he faded away into irrelevancy so I can’t really put him in red. :worry:

13. Jonny - Funnily enough it took me until his interview and best bits to realise what an annoying twat he is. I don’t think he’s a bad person but acting like you’re funny when you’re not mixed with feeling sorry for yourself does not make a good housemate, get off my screen x

14. Jade - I’m sorry but I really, really, REALLY do not get the love here. All I got from Jade was noise, talking like a baby (which isn’t cute) and generally being irritating, all of these combined really got on my last nerve and hence why she’s at the bottom. Like Jonny, I don’t rank her this low because I think she’s a bad person - I don’t think anyone from this series was tbf - but more because she was annoying. :worry:

Another series where I struggle figuring out how to feel. The series itself became a pretty daunting watch after Narinder's departure but it's weird that I say that since the cast are actually an alright one, with very little of them actually offending me and me bordering more on having a positive opinion on the majority of the people there! Brian is also a huge step-up of a winner than Craig the year before as an added bonus. All in all it's far from a favorite series of mine, but I definitely like it more than BB4/12/15/16/19 at the very least

And so I just have ONE more series to do a fresh watch on; BB11. Now the interesting thing about this is that I HAVE seen this series before, but only when it aired and again about 2 years later. So I have a really vague memory about it, and revisiting it as the last one to do what feels like a first watch on makes things kind of come full circle in a way.

Overall a pretty great cast to have a first impression on! Don't mind any of them (even though I'm sure that'll change), and the idea of having the final 81 housemates lined up for the favorites to be picked is an interesting idea on paper even though it got a bit repetitive after a while.

Mario's mole task at the beginning was alright but it would've been soo much better if they made the housemates guess who the mole was without actually telling them if they were right, that person would be evicted, which would've been what would happen if Mario failed his task. As a result, most of them just go for Sunshine because of how she kept grilling Mario on his suspicious activity<3. It would've made for a much better conclusion if they genuinely voted without knowing the consequences, because the stakes would be higher as to whether or not Mario would be evicted.

I have real mixed feelings on that eviction. On the one hand, any eviction that shocks the housemates and leaves devastating results on them is always gonna make for an engaging one. Even the build-up to it all was seamless, going from the crowd baying for Govan and adoring Ben to flat-out booing Ben and chanting for him to be out just because he turned down a task involving him being sticky taped(?) after less than a minute :laugh2:. Then Govan gets evicted anyways when it looks like it'll be Ben and out he went.

But then on the other hand, I really don't get the Govan hate now. Back when I watched BB11 as it aired, I vehemently disliked Govan, maybe because he was 'bitchy', but watching now it all seems hugely blown out of proportion and I felt a little bad about ever disliking him :laugh:. On a surface level I might be able to understand his eviction, but not when it's 72% of the vote against him. 72%?!?! Out of FOUR people?!?!?! Which includes BEN?!?!?! (:joker:) And DAVE?!?!?! (:rolleyes:). I kind of draw the line there. He was not that bad come on.

And on that note, Dave definitely should've went looking back. He's been boring, minute and fake so far, and has done nothing except arselick everyone and go around preaching about religion and defending alleged homophobia by saying he loves everyone, including gays, despite calling gay marriage 'immoral', and also claims he disagrees with the church being against gay marriage yet still saying he wouldn't wed a gay couple. How he did not even get bottom 2 is beyond me, maybe because he's not being shown as much as he was the previous week. That said he was edited even more negatively, in fact moreso than Govan was, who was actually more quiet this week and even had more positive moments than before. This will all inevitabl develop into the general public going from "None of us really like Dave but there's people we dislike much more" to "Dave has lasted this many evictions so there's not much point in voting him out." :rolleyes:

That whole drama over Sunshine's crisps really annoyed me. She already shared food with the house and they wanted even more, but what she was receiving was dietary requirements on account of her being a vegan. They were just being petty because they had limited shopping. And then the next day when Ife asked her again, Sunshine even told her she would but not until her nails were done and for some reason it was seen as a bad thing! I've often been asked or asked favors off someone and me/them would say "I just need to get this done first" and it's never seen as any big deal.

But the worst impression I got over the whole thing was Caoimhe. Her and Sunshine had no friendly relationship yet Caoimhe still felt it was appropriate to make scathing jokes about Sunshine being greedy TO Sunshine, really inconsiderate of her feelings. And then even after Sunshine shared the crisps out, Caoimhe had a full-on verbal meltdown about what a "****ing bitch" Sunshine is, made me pretty uncomfortable. Nothing but spite from her. The fact that this culminates in Caoimhe very nearly being evicted over Sunshine only for Sunshine to go instead makes this all the more unfair to sit through.

Further to this, Shabby having to hand in her hat into the diary room so the group would get tobacco and refusing because it was her grandfather's hat makes it understandable why she'd get pulled up on it, but for a supposed best friend, Caoimhe was pretty unapologetic about the inconsideration in trying to sway Shabby into giving the hat so much. And as you can probably tell, I may be no Dave fan, but the way she took him nominating her was one of the most childish reactions to being nominated I ever saw. Accusing him of being a lickarse, talking about him that he's a weirdo while he's in earshot, disregarding any apology by him. She's nothing but a moody, sullen wretch in this series. Her fanfare on here is ridiculous, seriously one of the most overrated housemates ever!

Ben may just be the worst housemate at tasks I've come across :joker:. The Tree of Temptation gave him the prize of everyone winning their suitcases back in exchange for Ben going around and getting in an arm wrestling contest with everyone and having to beat 1 girl, as well as that he has to use street slang. Such an easy conversational task to accomplish; instead Ben makes the suggestion 2-3 times in a non-pensive manner, gets rejected, and then gives up for the rest of the day, leading to one of my now favorite Marcus Bentley narrations "It's been 10 hours and 45 minutes since he was given a secret mission, by the Tree of Temptation", which also leads to this

Ben's comedy task :love:. He just kept going against any request by the Tree of Temptation whether that be to win a task or to be secret about the Tree's existence :joker:. Getting the punishment of doing stand up to a crowd had all the makings by the producers to be one of the cringiest moments in the history of the show, but then Ben miraculously pulled the whole thing together :love:. You can even see his confidence gradually building the more the crowd encourage him :joker:.

Yeah, Power Trip's house is definitely my favourite C5 house. Toya's eviction is when it goes downhill for most people too. God knows what the producers were thinking putting her up for eviction that week.

Let the HELLen experience begin. I've always though that the final pass twist was one of the worst BBUK has ever come up with. It would have been bad if given to any housemate, not only Helen. Obviously first the six who entered later on would have stood no chance in getting the pass. Obviously we know what happened when the pass was with Helen but even if it was given to such a likeable person, they probably wouldn't have gotten far in the finale because he/she wouldn't have rallied enough support due to never being up for eviction. The producers should have just given out immunity for the first half of the series, and if they really wanted a Final Pass then the public should have decided.

Anyways moving on, this just reminded me how great Toya and Ashleigh are as housemates, two of my favourites from this series definitely. Ashleigh being 18 and getting looks from Steven who was 23 and Winston who was 27 when she came in. :joker:

I'm trying so hard not to like Helen and Pauline because they actually came across as super sweet and genuine for the first few days, they will definitely start to drop in my rankings once the Jale/Slugsworth drama starts.

Might just be the weakest week of BB11. It was a constant parading of the historically terrible JohnJosie showmance that I had to speed through as best I can but still was slow and tedious. John James is absolutely terrible, his defensiveness about whether he fancies Josie and crying his eyes wanting to walk 2-3 times is really childish, sad and pathetic, as his gaslighting and provocation of Ben to insult him in this task where they all have to dress up like and act like Ben, deliberately making Ben look bad by initiating him to argue with him. And what was that ****e with Ife just because she talked about him fancying Josie rather than to him and that that somehow means she was bitching about him? Ben is right about him being a deeply angry person.

I love BB13 but if i were to pick a series that rewarded the worst kind of humans i look towards BB13 15 and CBB18.
