CBB16 debrief

This has got to be one of my favourite CBB's I have watched. Packed with drama nearly every episode, there hasn't been one episode where I've got bored and skipped through. Even the HM's who have ended up in red I haven't hated (well maybe except Chloe)...

A good set of tasks too. So many memorable lines especially from Janice and Jenna... I for one will never forget 'poop chute' and 'McDonalds eyebrows'

I rate this season 9/10.

She only went because of the repeated vote freezes and even if they frozen and reopened the lines, she would've actually survived the eviction and Luke S would've been evicted. She only went because they frozen it to the point of making it a head to head between the two of them where Luke S would've got votes out of the many people wanting Caroline out. They never did this many vote freezes before or after this eviction either

There was an aftershow (BOTS type show) called Roadshow I think the day after the final I believe. In one segment Emma revealed all the weeks % to the finalists.

She explained the 8 way eviction, and that Caroline was AHEAD of Luke S in the voting to save until Ashleigh was saved and the phones unfroze, indicating that the people who voted to save Ashleigh swapped their votes to Luke S afterwards, and that was the only time where Luke S went ahead of Caroline in the vts.

av literally just watched that episode and she didn't seem terrified at all ? it was Conor / Ashleigh (until she went psycho over cigarettes) /Becky who were terrified desperately trying to convince them they had nothing to do with it. Caroline sat outside and ate chocolate then told everyone to chill out

And idk IMO it's never ok to waste perfectly edible food when there are so many people who don't have access to the basic necessitates, it's one of my biggest pet peeves, he could've got back at her in other ways (or in later weeks with the others)

Chiggy is so difficult to watch. It's like Rex and Nicole BEFORE Rex and Nicole :skull: . Chanelle's acting petty and jealous about Charley as per usual, getting mad at Ziggy for hanging around with her late at night and villifying him just because she hates Charley, and he's awful in the way he talks down to her and insensitive to the fact he was making loads of noise with others late at night while knowing she was trying to sleep, and then characterising himself as a helpless victim of her.

What a relief this week was the fake eviction. It definitely wasn't last minute because they would've had to set up the 'Pauline' twist in advance with the actress for a certain date scheduled for her, so it really was a complete coincidence that the twist caused Charley to stay an extra week :laugh:

Watching this felt so refreshing! Especially now that BB has been axed. I love how you could tell it was summer at the start of the show :flutter: The only negative was that the house tour felt a bit rushed, but that's just a minor complaint. The only two housemates I loved were Lesley and Carole, but there's no one I didn't like. Charley and Chanelle were stand-outs too, judging from their VT. I know the all-female launch wasn't popular at the time, but I really like it, as it gives you a completely different dynamic to the norm. I can understand why the public didn't like it though, as there's quite a few 'fame hungry' people in there. It was funny to see how most of the younger housemates briefly said hi to Lesley and Tracey then immediately went back to one another :laugh:

Seem like an... interesting cast?
Has a strong female lead, the men seem to be SHITE. I can't see myself truly stanning any male this season.

Seen bits and bats especially with Natalie already... Heard some bad stuff about some HMs (e.g. Marco) but not letting that affect my views on HMs like I have other seasons.

I didn't mind Andy but the 'stoned to death' thing was a load of ****e bordering on ignorant, Jackson was an annoying fake, Jason and Ryan had their moments but I wasn't interested in their roles in the series, and Chelsea was a scream but quite irritating
