Theory; I think it could possibly be Heidi who has put the same outfit on, or had a costume change with Lynsey (also having put on a brown wig) cause there was a BLONDE pony tail. Hollyoaks star Jeff Rawle has joked that he felt guilty while filming his character Silas Blissett's current storyline with Lynsey Nolan.

Silas has spent weeks terrorising Lynsey as she has correctly worked out that he is the evil killer who has claimed three victims in the village.

Praising co-star Karen Hassan, who plays Lynsey, Rawle told We Love Telly: "She's amazing. She's so good in this it's not true. I spent so many hours being mean to her, I felt bad!"

Silas steps up his twisted games with Lynsey in this week's episodes as he orders her to guess who his next target is, promising that he will hand himself in if she works it out. However, if she fails, another girl will die.

Rawle continued: "He loves all the melodrama and cheap horror. He can't get enough of this kind of schlocky plot and really enjoys toying with Lynsey. He gives her all these clues about who he's going to kill next, like she's a contestant on 3-2-1."

Asked whether viewers can figure out Silas's target, he replied: "Yes, I suppose so. If you put it together. There's one clue in particular that might help you."

This is some stuff that a person on DS has posted what has been going on Twitter by Hollyoaks cast/crew, but don't look if you don't want to know (speculation about Silas plot).

Jorgie on set fiming for Warrens exit, so Theresa isn't dead.

Someone got an autograph off Karen Hassan on set a few weeks ago, according to Twitter anyway, she did post a picture so unless they are being very clever with the lies then she isn't dead.

That leaves Texas and Amy out of the possible victims unaccounted for, Bianca has been in Liverpool but hasn't talked about filming for ages and one of the backstage workers was saying they missed her so my vote is for her dying.

No idea if she is the intended victim but I think she is a goner..

I think they're doing a good job of making each girl a potential victim but realistically I can only see it being Texas, Theresa and Lynsey are huge characters so we'd hear about a potential exit for them before it happened and Amy was brought back because she was a fan favourite.

Hollyoaks star Jay Duffy is to reprise his role as Brendan Brady's son Declan, it has been revealed.

The 15-year-old is about to begin filming a short stint with the Channel 4 soap which will see Declan arrive back in the village.

Declan appeared on Hollyoaks for six weeks earlier this year, staying with Brendan while his mum Eileen was away.

Although Brendan (Emmett Scanlan) tried to hide his sexuality from his son, Declan later discovered that his dad is gay and accepted the news following an emotional heart-to-heart.

News of Declan's upcoming return was revealed by Jay's Coronation Street star dad Keith Duffy in an interview with the Galway Advertiser.

Keith told the newspaper: "He's doing the same thing I did and jumping straight in at the deep end. He's doing very well and he's very natural, he has a great instinct. I watched the stuff he did and I was blown away.

"And they're very happy with him - they tried to convince me to let him leave school and they'd pay for a private tutor for him and make him a full-time cast member. I said no because I believe a child should be allowed to be a child, he doesn't need to be working 12 hours a day with adults when he's only 15.

"But I compromised by saying that when he has a mid-term break or holiday he can go to Liverpool and shoot a few episodes, and so he's going over there on Saturday for ten days. He's enjoying it and it's going well."

As Brendan is currently in jail after being wrongly accused of Silas Blissett's evil murders, Hollyoaks bosses are keeping tight-lipped over why Declan returns and when the scenes will air on screen.

However, a Hollyoaks insider told Digital Spy: "Jay Duffy will be returning to Hollyoaks as Brendan's son and Cheryl's nephew. Brendan is having a rough time of it in prison, so perhaps further danger lies ahead for the Irishman."

Hollyoaks star Jeff Rawle has admitted that his evil character Silas Blissett is becoming more unstable as time goes on.

Silas has already committed three murders since arriving in the village last December, and this week's episodes have seen him taunt Lynsey Nolan (Karen Hassan) with his vow to strike again at midnight on Halloween.

Lynsey has found herself embroiled in a twisted game with Silas as he has promised to hand himself in to the police if she can figure out who he is targeting.

Rawle has now told Soaplife: "Nobody is safe. Theresa's already in his sights, Lynsey is a possible and so is Mercedes - he really doesn't like the McQueens! There are lots of other women whose morals Silas would consider questionable. He has already said that Hollyoaks makes Sodom and Gomorrah look like Sunday school. It could be anyone."

actor added that Silas does not care that his next gruesome act could shift suspicion away from Brendan Brady (Emmett Scanlan), who has been wrongly accused of the murders.

"He's not really worried about what happens to Brendan," the 60-year-old explained. "He wants his exit to be remembered. Anyway, he doesn't think he'll ever be found out. He believes he is invincible."

Rawle concluded: "He's a psychopath and he has slightly lost the plot now. He's very dangerous. He thinks he hasn't got a lot of time left to live and feels he has nothing to lose."

Silas strikes again on Monday at 6.30pm on Channel 4. Hollyoaks fans can get a first look at the climactic episode tomorrow at 7pm on E4.

Disappointed Silas did not find out about Heidi and Gaz or her ever finding out her dad was the serial killer and that he murdered her mother.

Good acting from the cast and I hope Hollyoaks producers take not of what is really working in terms of the storylines because the show has been unmissable for ages now for me.

Really not been into Hollyoaks the past 18 months but I see they can still create excellent episodes like this. They really are the best when it comes to the suspense, gripping stories and reveals.

I'd already read the spoilers about Kim Tiddy leaving and the speculation that he'd kill her by accident so that kind of ruined it but it was still brilliantly executed. I was hoping it wasn't her in the episode because she has been so underused and even in the affair aftermath they never really gave her anything to do. But as soon as I saw her putting that eye makeup on I knew.

And loved the irony of the line "You're the one I'll miss the most".

I thought Lynsey was going to end up attacking Gaz thinking that it was Silas as he had the same costume. lol. And Bart dressing as Brendan was funny too.

I'm sure I read that there is one more victim. Can't really remember all the spoilers though, because some of them were fake and some ambiguous to hide Heidi's identity.

And the thing about Mercedes and Riley getting back together because he'll forgive her, is she may not want to. His Grandad is a serial killer who locked her in a cellar for two weeks eating cold beans. Just might put a dampener on things. lol

Must say though I'm not looking forward to Silas' story ending. I've got a horrible feeling we're just gonna revert to the awful show of a few months ago with Ste/Brendan, Liberty/Theresa/Ethan. I want Hollyoaks to stay at this quality, it's on par with the 2006/2007 stuff.

And with Eastenders and Corrie stuck in complete banality I've relied on this show to entertain me.

PM is long gone and the new producer there is a woman called Emma Smithwick, she's been a producer of some teen programmes before which looks worrying but hopefully she will use the older characters more.

The new producer seems popular with the cast and has even replied to me on Twitter. It looks like the two Costello actors have chosen to quit.

Fantastic episode and what an ending.

I did wonder if Silas had tried to kill Mercedes, or left her for dead, but Riley catches her just in time.

Whatever the outcome, this has been one friggin' amazing story and Silas deserves his place in the Hollyoaks hall of fame.

Coronation Street star Kym Marsh has teased that Hollyoaks bosses have a "dramatic" exit plot on the way for her fiancé Jamie Lomas.

Lomas announced his decision to leave Hollyoaks back in August and his final storyline as bad boy Warren Fox is expected to play out towards the end of the year.

Writing in her New magazine column, Marsh commented: "Jamie filmed his last scenes on Hollyoaks last week, and I hear they're going to be pretty dramatic.

"He didn't have a big leaving do, just a few beers with some of his castmates, but he's got a great exit storyline, so make sure you tune in."

She continued: "He's actually fine about leaving - it was his decision to go - so I think he's now ready to start the next chapter of his career. He'd love to do more TV and film and see where it takes him. Life's a journey, so onwards and upwards!"

Warren has been back on screen in Hollyoaks for the past year. Lomas previously portrayed the character between 2006 and 2009.

OMG the E4 episode was brilliant. I loved Lynsey's rant to Cheryl, Nancy and Texas and glad she is not forgiving people easily.

It was touching seeing Texas lighting the candle for India but that slap to Silas when he was arrested and the cops taking him to the car when he said ''It should have been you''. Class that he did the classic no comment when being interviewed.

Glad Carl came back, guess it makes sense it was now since he was away and they had time to contact him. Angry Seth was good and Mitzeee is so caring.

Silas playing one more game with Lynsey, better than having him dying. Mercedes going into labour down there:(. The McQueen's rallying is always great to watch!.

The aftermath of Silas's latest murder helped E4's first look showing of Hollyoaks hit a ratings high on Tuesday night, according to overnight audience data.

Hollyoaks was seen by 1.17m (5.3%) on E4 from 7pm as Riley confronted Silas. A further 265k (1.2%) tuned in on +1.

Earlier, the village was left stunned as it learned of Heidi Costello's murder, with the episode pulling in 1.14m (5.4%) on Channel 4 from 6.30pm, and 154k (0.7%) an hour later.

Hollyoaks bosses have teamed up with the independent road safety charity Brake for a dramatic new storyline featuring police detective Ethan Scott and fresher Rob Edwards.

Ethan, played by Craig Vye, makes a terrible error of judgement later this month when he texts former flames Theresa (Jorgie Porter) and Liberty (Abi Phillips) while driving.

As he isn't keeping his eye on the road, Ethan accidentally runs over Rob (David Atkins) - leaving viewers to wonder if the show's newcomer will live or die.

The new storyline will attempt to combat dangerous driving by highlighting the consequences of texting behind the wheel. The scenes will also help to launch Road Safety Week, which takes place from November 21 with the theme "Too young to die".

Studies show that using a phone to text while driving can increase the risk of crashing by 23 times and cause drivers to take their eyes off the road up to 400% more.

Road crashes are also the biggest killer of young people, with 18 young people being killed or badly hurt every day in the UK.

Brake's campaigns director Julie Townsend commented: "Young drivers need to know that using a phone at the wheel, to text, call or use the internet is incredibly dangerous.

"Too many young lives are lost and ruined through road crashes, which is why it is so important that popular TV shows such as Hollyoaks highlight the appalling consequences of crashes, and the simple things all drivers can do to help avoid them.

"Brake is a charity that supports people who have been bereaved or seriously injured in crashes, so we are all too aware of the suffering caused by drivers taking needless risks like using a phone at the wheel, speeding or drink driving.

"A death or serious injury on the road shatters families and communities, all the more so when the victim is young with their whole life ahead of them. Brake is urging young people, and drivers of all ages, to make a pledge this Road Safety Week to always drive sober, slow and secure to prevent tragedy on our roads."

The worst McQueen for mne is Carmel. When she's funny, she's friggin' hilarious, but when she's in love or going on about God she grates on me. Though sometimes I think they try too hard to make her funny, a little bit like they do with Kirk in Corrie.

Yeah, I should have mentioned that part. I do agree and think her being different causes more fun towards to rest of the family. I loved it (can't remember how long ago it was) when the McQueen's went on a shoplifting spree pretending to be pregnant and they were more worried about Carmel catching them than the store detectives. Images of them hiding behind clothes rails was brilliant.

I didn't get the last scene with Lynsey and Silas. They got Mercedes and there was no need for Lynsey to get another meeting for him, it just didn't make sense.

Totally. I think they wanted the viewers to see this (I know I wanted it) I just struggled to work out why it was done that way.
