Anita has improved IMO. Ricky is coming back, the actor had to have time off to do his exams.. I still find Duncan annoying but they've toned him down.

Ultimate Fighting Championship star Michael Bisping has promised that he will be at the centre of a "very gritty" storyline on this year's Hollyoaks Later.

In June, it was confirmed that the Cypriot-born cage fighter had signed up for a role in the late-night spinoff show, playing an underworld gangster named Nathan.

Speaking to The Mirror about his decision to branch out into acting, Bisping explained: "I did a movie last year, which is just being released actually. I've read some reviews on the internet and it's not too bad!

"I did some acting lessons leading up to that, obviously. Anything I do, I take seriously, so I did some acting lessons, and really enjoyed that."

Discussing his Hollyoaks part, he continued: "It's five, one-hour-long episodes, and it's a very gritty storyline, shall we say. I play a bad guy in it and it's good, I enjoyed it. I think I've done a good job and again, I really enjoyed it."

Hollyoaks Later will return to screens later this year.

Mobile phone retailer Phones4U is to take over as the sponsor of Channel 4 soap Hollyoaks next month, it has been announced.

According to Media Week, the company has signed a six-figure deal which will see its branding accompanying the show's transmissions on Channel 4, E4 and video on-demand, as well as those of spinoff Hollyoaks Later.

It is understood that the contract will run for three months and take effect from October 1.

Caspar Nelson, Phones4U's head of brand communications, commented: "Our research has shown that Hollyoaks is the most-watched TV show by our core customers, who can relate to its youth-orientated storylines.

"We're chuffed to be sponsoring such a popular drama that, like our brand, is not afraid to be edgy and irreverent in the way it engages its audience."

Hollyoaks' current sponsor is camera manufacturer Nikon, which has been using the teen programme to promote its Coolpix S3000 product in a five-month deal. The show was previously sponsored by chewing gum brand Wrigley's Extra between 2005 and 2009.

Paul Marquess interview in Inside Soap-
He says that bits of what we have seen so far from his reign as producer is actually still stuff that was decided before he arrived and has just been continued and picked up, he feels he doesn't really feel it's entirely his show until this month. He is however very proud of the episodes where Carmel found out Theresa killed Calvin, cus although that wasn't his idea, it was his idea to do the episodes in such an intense and dark way. He says thats when he thought the show was turning into what he wanted.

Diane O'Connor was supposed to be the kids real mum, but Alex Fletcher was too young.

Hollyoaks have tried to get Emmett Scanlan to join 4 times before in the past.

They can't film so much in Chez Chez anymore because the set is bing used too much.

Mitzeee was a character PM actually created for a different show, but it wasn't given the go ahead so transferred the character to Hollyoaks.

The new titles will be on soon, he says they were too ambitious and some of what they wanted just didn't work.

Theres a cool murder around christmas, it kicks of a massive story for next year and involves lots of characters, "It's told in a way that we haven't done a murder before - I'm excited by it"

Theres a big disaster in November "The storyline hooks on bonfire night, when viewers will see that bad things are happening in Hollyoaks, Then we go back in time for the first four episodes of the week and four different stories play out, leaving the viewer wondering who lives and who dies. It's structurally very different and i just don't think the other soaps would dare do a plot like this. I really hope it's going to make people cry alot!"

Kieron Richardson has come out as gay in an interview with ITV's This Morning.

The Hollyoaks actor, who also appeared on Dancing On Ice, divulged his sexuality to Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby.

Richardson also revealed that his character Ste would be involved in a plot in which he would question his feelings for Brendan Brady (Emmett Scanlan)

The soap confirmed that the plot would see the pair form an "unusual friendship" as Ste becomes captivated by the bad boy.

The pair kiss on a night out but a disgusted Brendan then rejects Ste, who later admits that he has been attracted to another male before when he spent time in a young offenders' institute.

However, the long-term storyline is set to take a shocking twist when Brendan beats Ste up badly, marking the beginning of a turbulent and troubled relationship.

Hollyoaks series producer Paul Marquess said: "This is a long running storyline and while it is dark to begin with, the lessons that Ste learns are ultimately positive and life affirming.

"This story is about not being afraid to be who you are and while this is something Brendan struggles with, Ste is refreshingly accepting of his feelings towards another man," he continued. "I hope viewers will be glued throughout the twists and turns as we unravel how Brendan came to be the twisted person we have been watching on screen."

Richardson admitted that he was "shocked" to learn about the storyline but added that he was honoured to be given the plot.

He added: "Having understood the long-term storyline I am honoured and very excited to have been given this challenge. Brendan is a dangerous character and it will be interesting to see how Ste copes when he himself is the victim of domestic violence.”

Scanlan confessed that he is glad that Brendan is a becoming "a complex character" and "not a gratuitous soap villain, but a multi-layered character with depth, a troubled past and an unsure future".

He continued: "I hope that as the storyline develops, viewers will be able to understand why Brendan has become the villain they see today. Brendan is compelled to manipulate and control everyone who crosses his path. At the moment this makes him dangerous but when we identify why he behaves this way, we will discover his vulnerabilities and this is exciting..."

The scenes will air later next month.

I'm interested to see how this develops:), I like Ste and Brendan is already one of my favourite newcomers, will be intruiging to see what has made him become bad and the different sides he has.

Stephanie Waring has given birth to her second daughter, it has been announced.

The Hollyoaks actress delivered 7lbs 13oz Lexi Grace last night. She described her new baby as a "little stunner".

A statement confirmed that both mother and daughter are doing well.

Waring's character, schemer Cindy Cunningham, is due to marry multimillionaire tycoon and pensioner Alistair next week.

Darren Day has joined the cast of Hollyoaks, it has been confirmed.

The West End star will play bad boy Danny Houston, the best friend of Brendan Brady (Emmet Scanlan). Danny is also Cheryl Brady's (Bronagh Waugh) silent partner in Chez Chez.

However, Cheryl quickly realises that Danny is not someone she wants to be in business with as his arrival causes trouble for the residents of the Channel 4 soap. He takes a shine to Jacqui McQueen (Claire Cooper), leaving Rhys Asworth (Andy Moss) - but also playing with fire as Jacqui is dating Brendan. The McQueen soon finds herself embroiled in Danny and Brendan's shady world.

It was:), that was Stephanie Waring who plays Cindy last scene also when it was filmed so the emotions were real, yes we won't see Cindy back till next year now..

I think it's obvious Steph dies now i've heard Mandy is returning for a few episodes which could mean Tom leaving with her:(, a shame as Ellis Hollins is one of the longest Hollyoaks cast members (since 1999) if that happens:(, although fingers crossed Jack and Frankie take him under their care.

Jem and India are leaving also, guess we will be seeing a few new characters in at some point then.

Hollyoaks has announced that it has teamed up with Channel 4 Education's Battlefront series to tackle a dramatic underage sex plot.

The storyline will see 12-year-olds Amber Sharpe (Lydia Lloyd Henry) and Finn O'Connor (Connor Wilkinson) turn to each other as they face difficult home situations and engage in sexual activity.

Amber and Finn will be seen regretting their decision to have sex as neither enjoys the experience. However, Amber is left devastated when she discovers that she is pregnant, leaving both to deal with the life-changing consequences of their actions.

Hollyoaks series producer Paul Marquess said: "Hollyoaks has long been credited for tackling difficult issues that affect young people in a sensitive and intelligent way.

"I am very proud that we are once again bringing to the forefront a subject for our young audience that many parents, politicians and schools struggle to address. The storyline very clearly communicates to the audience that Amber and Finn were not emotionally or physically ready to engage in any sexual activity."

He added: "And make no mistake, there will be no fairytale ending for Amber; she is faced with the most difficult situation she could ever imagine."

The Battlefront project follows 12 young campaigners on a mission to tackle various youth issues. Member Abbie Louise Davies's Where Is The Love campaign to encourage youngsters not to feel pressured into having sex caught the attention of Hollyoaks producers.

A special focus group held at the Channel 4 soap's Liverpool-based studio allowed young people to discuss their thoughts and opinions on the issue with the writers and cast who shared their own personal experiences.

Lucy Willis, executive producer of Battlefront, added: "Battlefront gives young people an opportunity to run campaigns about subjects they feel passionately about.

"Abbie Louise’s campaign Where Is The Love tackles an incredibly important issue which affects many young people today, who feel huge peer pressure to have sex before they are ready, often without the help and advice of adequate sex education at school."

Amber and Finn's story will begin on screen from October 18.

Carley Stenson has said that she is trying "to hold back the tears" over her Hollyoaks exit.

The actress, who has played Steph Dean in the Chester-based soap since 2000, recently completed filming her last appearances after announcing her decision to quit earlier this year.

Her departure will see the climax of a storyline which sees Steph struggle with terminal cervical cancer.

Stenson told PA: "My final scenes were really sad and emotional. I've said to everyone as soon as I let the flood gates open there's no stopping me so I've tried to hold back the tears as much as I can. It will hit me in a few months' time."

Following her Hollyoaks departure, Stenson is due to take up the role of Margot in Legally Blonde: The Musical in London's West End.

The 28-year-old has already begun rehearsing with the cast, and said: "It's been really fun. Everyone's lovely. It's intense and I'm learning a lot so quickly."

I'm really liking the O'Connor family too especially Sinead:), poor Diane about the pregnancy test and can understand Finn's concerns, although he is a bit selfish. I'm enjoying this Brendan storyline, he's complex and theres lots of sides to to him.

Hollyoaks is going strength to strength, the new characters are a triumph (I'm even starting to reallyl ike Kevin) and some of the storylines that have been announced sound gripping and quite unique, two things Hollyoaks do extremely well.

Hollyoaks star Bronagh Waugh has revealed that the show's upcoming fire will be "shocking".

The actress, who plays Cheryl Brady in the Channel 4 soap, told Holy Soap that the cast is currently filming the stunt and that popular characters will be killed off.

She said: "I can't say too much about it, but it's incredibly exciting. There's a lot of tense drama, and there will be some exits and deaths. We can't disclose who that's going to be, but it's going to be very shocking and saddening.

"We've been filming it at the moment. Much-loved characters are going. All of us are involved in it."

Speaking of her future on the show, she added: "I don't know how long I'll be there. That depends on the powers that be.

"But at the moment I'm really enjoying myself. I'm enjoying getting more serious storylines with Emmett Scanlan, who plays my brother Brendan. So at the moment, I'm very happy there and enjoying the direction my character is taking."

The fire begins on screen on November 5 and will continue throughout the following week with a special block of episodes.

I can't understand the lack of involvement from Rob:conf:, the O'Connors are really impressing me. I'm also loving the comedy from the students and occasional drama.

What Hollyoaks are great at is thinking outside the box and not afraid to take risks, the cover up of spoilers are great too like the Clare scene at the airport because no-one expected it and the show plus the spoilers made us all believe she was dead:joker:.

Hollyoaks' premiere airings will shift to Channel 4 on a temporary basis for the duration of Hollyoaks Later.

As already noticed by fans on our forum, E4's first look 7pm screenings have disappeared from the schedules from Friday, October 22 - ahead of Later's return on Monday, October 25.

The decision has been made because - for the first time ever - the storylines of Hollyoaks and Hollyoaks Later are seamlessly interweaved this year, meaning that all fans need to be watching at the same pace for the best viewing experience.

Although the 7pm screenings will be gone for the duration of Hollyoaks Later, an 8.30pm repeat airing of Hollyoaks will be added to E4 - meaning that fans can catch up with all the latest action before Later airs at 9pm each night.

Once Later concludes on Friday, October 29, E4's first look screening will return - airing in a 10pm slot for one night only, before being placed back in its usual slot in the following week.

Alison Burrows has reprised her role as Kathleen McQueen in Hollyoaks, Digital Spy can reveal.

The actress will be back on screen later this year, when her scheming alter ego returns to the village and causes yet more trouble for her family.

Kathleen - Theresa McQueen's mother and Myra's sister - was first cast last year for the second series of Hollyoaks Later. She then moved over to the main show for a two-month stint.

Despite Theresa's constant attempts to put Kathleen on a pedestal, viewers saw the character leave in disgrace back in February after the McQueens discovered that she had been stealing money from the bank account of her deceased niece Tina.

Kathleen's latest storyline sees her make a surprise return to the village, but she's immediately caught trying to use a dodgy £50 note at the SU Bar and ends up being chased by a police officer.

Following her reappearance, it's not long until she learns one of the McQueens' darkest secrets and takes the opportunity to blackmail the family.

Kathleen's comeback scenes will air in December

Last week, I attended a Hollyoaks press event in London, where members of the media were lucky enough to mingle with the cast and enjoy a sneak preview of what's to come for Channel 4's flagship soap.

With glasses of bubbly and other refreshments readily available, everyone received a warm welcome from the drama's team - before the event began in earnest when series producer Paul Marquess gave a speech reflecting on the period of rejuvenation that he's been heading up at Hollyoaks since his arrival in January.

From Paul's speech, it's clear that everyone involved in the programme is excited and extremely proud of the changes that have been rolled out in recent months - from the new titles, glamorous new signings and compelling new plotlines which have received a largely positive response from fans.

It wasn't all talk, though, as we were then treated to three clip reels which provided a glimpse of forthcoming storylines on Hollyoaks and its late-night spinoff Hollyoaks Later, which returns on October 25.

As for what I can reveal from the clips that we saw, the first thing that I was excited to see is that Carmel's threat to report Theresa to the police once the baby is born definitely hasn't been forgotten! Fans had already been promised that this storyline hadn't been abandoned, but it was great to see the clips to prove it - especially as the episode which saw Carmel discover the truth was one of the best this year.

The footage screened showed Theresa giving birth and the subsequent panic for the McQueens as they realised that Carmel's vow was deadly serious. But will Theresa be heading to jail for shooting Calvin? All I can say is that there looks to be more than a few twists and turns ahead for this storyline...

The other major clips that we saw offered a small glimpse of the November fire plot - which looked pretty spectacular, I have to say! A number of characters will find themselves in danger during this special week of episodes, but I was particularly struck by one scene which featured an emotional 'heart in mouth' moment as a much-loved character was trapped in the flames, seemingly with no way out…

For Hollyoaks Later, the clips that were screened mainly focused on Michael Bisping's bad boy character Nathan, who was busy waving a baseball bat around and threatening to use it to break the Costello brothers' legs! Other sneak peeks showed Mitzeee teaching Nancy and Theresa about the joys of chasing a footballer, and Bart and Jasmine's story reaching a climax as Jasmine struggles to keep her secret under wraps…

Meanwhile, it was also confirmed that this year's Later will focus on the events of "one fateful night" and seamlessly interweave with the main 6.30pm episodes.

Once Hollyoaks Later and the November stunt are out of the way, it sounds as if the next major plotline will be the previously-announced murder which is to rock the village towards the end of the year. Paul Marquess promised that it will be "the scariest murder story the programme has ever told".

December also sees Channel 4 broadcasting a one-off late-night Hollyoaks bubble episode, but details of what we can expect from that have yet to be confirmed.

While at the event, I managed to grab chats with Kieron Richardson (Ste) and Rachel Shenton (Mitzeee), so keep an eye out for those appearing on the site in the coming days.

All in all, while I was already impressed by the ongoing improvement of Hollyoaks over the past few months, the event left me more enthusiastic than ever as it looks like there's some fantastic stuff coming up - much of which it's too early to write about! Fans are in for some real treats, so watch this space…

What's the reaction been like from Hollyoaks fans since you did the interview on This Morning?
"The fans have been quite shocked about me coming out as gay, when I think it's quite obvious! They've been more shocked about that than they have been about Ste. I think it's nice that the fans have just accepted Ste being gay straight away, because I was worried that it wouldn't be believable because of him being a real straight character in the past and a bit of a scally. But I think the nice thing is that Danny Miller has portrayed a scally-type character who's gay in Emmerdale, so I think people have accepted it a lot more. Now I'm just really excited about the storyline."

When did you first hear that this was in store for Ste?
"I'd literally just finished Dancing On Ice, and [producer] Paul Marquess had just started at Hollyoaks. The day after that, he asked me to come into a meeting - and at that time, a lot of people were being written out, so I was thinking, 'Oh my God, I'm going!' But he said, 'I've been watching the clips from the past couple of months and I really like what you've done', and then he told me that he'd decided to turn Ste gay. At first, it was just the initial shock and I was thinking, 'Can I do it? Is it going to be believable?'"

What happened next?
"I was thinking a lot about the storyline - and when you know that your character's turning gay, you can kind of play to that stereotype and camp it up a bit, but I thought that in order to be true to the character, I had to fight against that. I wanted to play it completely Ste, completely straight, with no changes except that he likes men now. I also think what's nice about the storyline is that it isn't the same as any other soap sexuality storyline, because Ste doesn't question his sexuality and it's not about a struggle - it's about domestic abuse in a gay relationship, and that hasn't been done on a soap before."

Have you had to do a lot of research for the storyline?
"Well, the good thing about doing the This Morning interview was that I got 17,000 emails that day from people saying, 'Well done - I'm gay and you've helped me to come out to my parents'. But there was one email that stuck out from a guy who told me that he'd been in a gay relationship and experiencing domestic abuse, so he'd gone to the police and it went to court. He was the first guy in a gay relationship to get his partner sent to prison. I'm hoping to hear more about his story to help us achieve an accurate portrayal of this very real issue."

It sounds like this is going to be a big storyline for the months ahead.
"Well, when Paul first told me about the storyline and I was doing it, I'd obviously heard about the Jasmine and Jason plot, which is a massive thing, along with all of the other stuff that's going on in Hollyoaks. So I thought that ours would be a C-storyline, but it's actually turning out to be an A-storyline, which is nice! When I was picking up my scripts and reading it, I thought it was quite good, but when it comes off paper and gets onto screen, the scenes seem completely different - especially because of the things that Emmett brings to his character. He puts his own little things in, and that's pushing me as an actor because I want to try new things to make my performance match his, because he's so good. The stuff that's coming up is really strong."

Would you describe Ste as gay or bisexual?
"This is the funny thing - he's bisexual at this point, because he's obviously in a relationship with Rae but seeing Brendan at the same time. But I think the whole reason why Ste doesn't question his sexuality is because he's been so bad in relationships. Nobody's really loved him like Amy has, so he's happy to go along with whoever shows him interest, whether it's a man or a woman."

Have you enjoyed working with Emmett?
"Yes, I have. When I first found out that Brendan was going to be Ste's boyfriend, I was asking, 'Who have you cast?' When I was told it was Emmett, I Googled him and saw his showreel. I remember sitting there watching it with Bronagh, who plays Cheryl, and she said, 'He's good, isn't he?!' I was really worried then about how I was going to be able to match up to his performance! But he's given me tips and if I want to do something that's a bit out there or a bit different, he'll always go with it and react to whatever I do, and I'll react to whatever he does. We don't always stick to the script - if we want to play with it a bit, we get away with it. Emmett brings something different to the show, and we haven't had a bad boy for a while. I think that Emmett's now one of the strongest bad boys in any of the soaps."

And now you've got Darren Day coming in to play another bad boy!
"That's another nice thing, because you don't really imagine him as a bad boy. I know he has a reputation, but you don't really imagine him as being evil. On set and in real life, he's not what you'd expect him to be like - he's quiet, polite and really shy. But when he's playing his character, he's like a completely different person!"


What's it been like at work in general since Paul Marquess joined?
"Paul is my fourth producer. Bryan Kirkwood was a favourite of mine, because he brought me into the show full-time. When I got the job with David Hanson, he had me in for just seven episodes - my character was just supposed to come in, sleep with Amy and that was it. But when Bryan took over, he liked what I did and brought me back for a tiny bit to test me, and then put me on a year's contract. I've stayed ever since, so I've got a lot to thank Bryan for, especially the domestic abuse story with Ste and Amy. But since Paul's taken over, I feel that the work that I've done - which hasn't been on screen yet - is some of my strongest stuff. That's obviously thanks to the material that he's producing. Also, I'm a fan of Hollyoaks myself and when I watch it, I think it's a lot stronger - Paul's got the balance right between comedy and the serious stuff. The balance is perfect at the moment."

What else can we look forward to from Hollyoaks in the months ahead?
"The week of the fire is a very strong week. But it's so difficult to say what to watch out for, because each week there's something really good that happens. This is another thing that Paul's done - at the end of every episode, there's a real hook - something happens in every single episode. It's a lot of storylines, but we've got a lot of cast! In other shows, you might have one storyline that runs for the week, and the cliffhanger will be at the end of the week so that people tune in the week after. But what's great about Hollyoaks now is that there's a reveal or a cliffhanger in every single episode. People really want to know what happens next and want to tune into the E4 episode - and that's what television is all about, keeping people entertained."

You've mentioned in past interviews that you sometimes lack self-confidence - has that changed recently, especially after all the support you've received lately?
"Well, I'm quite a shy person and I fell into acting by accident. I'm 24 now and I started acting when I was 19. It was literally because my stepdad was friends with Will Mellor, and Will used to always come round to our house in his fancy car and I'd say, 'I want to be an actor who drives cars like that!' He gave me the number for an acting coach and then, within six months, I was in Hollyoaks. As I'm quite shy, I struggled at first, but last year when I did Dancing On Ice, that helped me a lot with my confidence. More recently, the whole coming out thing is a big deal. Even though I'd come out to my friends and family four years ago, it was going through it again, but this time it was in public and I was wondering whether people would accept it and if they'd not believe the character anymore. But obviously the character is gay now, so it seemed like the right time to do it."

Your first interview about your sexuality was on live TV - do you think it might have been less nerve-wracking to do it in print?
"It was totally my decision to do it on This Morning. When I did Dancing On Ice, the press knew about my sexuality but didn't run the story. But every day they'd ring and say, 'Go on, sell your story'. I thought it'd be wrong to sell it and make money out of it - I don't feel like I should earn any money from it. Also, if you do it in print, your words can be twisted and I didn't want a sensational headline. It was my decision to work with Paul, work with the press office and say, 'I'll do it, but I want to do it on This Morning with Holly and Phil, because I've got a connection with them already'. It was set up weeks in advance and we knew exactly how it was going to go. It's worked out well so far."

Is there anything else you'd like to say about Hollyoaks?
"I love the new titles! At first, I was a bit freaked out by the music, because I think the old tune was so harsh and in-your-face, and I was so used to it. This is slower and a lot more mellow, so I was unsure at first but I'm getting used to it now! In terms of the titles and the whole look of them, I think they're some of the strongest titles in all of the soaps. It's something a bit different, and everyone looks fit in them!"

I know the Calvin plot was confusing and poorly thought out, although I blame Lucy Allan:rolleyes:, at least the aftermath was by Paul Marquess but I still disagree with Theresa being the killer..

The storylines are much darker, the characters swear LOL but there is opportunity to push the boundaries with what they can do with the characters too. The storylines will also cross over into the main show but obviously some details won't make it;).

Nathan berates Liam for jeopardising their plan by attacking Seth, and Riley tries to escape the party after discovering his drink had been spiked. Meanwhile, Jasmine tries to compensate for her violent behaviour as Jason by agreeing to sleep with Bart, but is disgusted by her body and reaches a new low.

Carl arrives at the McAllister mansion to rescue Seth and Riley, but is ambushed and made to watch as Liam and Nathan use his sons to satisfy their thirst for revenge. Yeah the fire starts week after and whats good is apparently in each episode over the 5 days it will focus on a different part of the HO set and how it will affect those characters in particular, especially because some are obviously dying and they normally do deaths well as you know;).

Glamour girl Mitzeee caused a stir from the very beginning when she turned up in Hollyoaks back in July, turning heads among the village's male population before quickly causing chaos for the Costello clan. Since her vengeful attempts to split up Heidi and Carl failed earlier in the year, Mitzeee seems to have been keeping a lower profile - but she's about to return to the forefront of the show with a major role in this year's series of Hollyoaks Later. At a recent Hollyoaks press event in London, Mitzeee's portrayer Rachel Shenton chatted to DS about what's in store for the outrageous model.

What kind of a reaction have you received since Mitzeee first appeared on screen?
"I've been really, really pleased. I've had such a positive reaction to the role, which I was a little bit shocked about! I wasn't quite sure how people would take her, because I thought she'd be a Marmite kind of character where you either love her or you hate her! But everyone's reactions have been so lovely, and people seem to like her! I'm really grateful for the reactions I've received from the Hollyoaks fans."

Mitzeee features quite heavily in this year's Hollyoaks Later - what can you tell us about the new series?
"It's five hour-long episodes that span the course of one day - a day and a night. Lots of weird and wonderful things happen in it! It's airing from October 25, but you'll just have to watch it!"

Have you enjoyed all the work you've been doing with the Costello family?
"Yes, they're great to work with. I know that's such a cliché, but everyone really is great to work with because we all started at the same time. We were all in the same boat - all a bit nervous when we first started because we didn't really know anybody, so we kind of stuck together. It's fantastic to work with them."

Are you surprised at how quickly Heidi seems to have forgiven and forgotten when it comes to Mitzeee and Carl?
"Well, I don't know whether she has forgiven Mitzeee. I think it's more that she forgave Carl because she loves him, and so she did slightly have to forgive and forget with Mitzeee. I think that's what it was, really - Heidi's just desperate to keep the family together!"

Will we see Mitzeee get involved in Jasmine's storyline as it moves forward?
"I'm not sure how much I'm allowed to say! But Mitzeee and Jasmine do come into contact when it comes to the storyline…"

Where do you see Mitzeee's character going in the long-term?
"I think that in Hollyoaks Later, the audience will see a different side to Mitzeee - a side that will make them think that she's a real person. I mean, obviously she is a real person and nobody is one-dimensional, but I think you'll see that a lot more clearly in the late-night episodes."

It was a real surprise for the viewers when we saw Mitzeee at home for the first time - away from her glamorous image…
"Yes - the viewers saw that she's just a normal girl! I think that in the late-night episodes from October 25, you will definitely see more of that side of her. And I hope that at some points you'll actually feel a little bit sorry for her. I think that, so far, that's an emotion that you don't really feel very often when it comes to Mitzeee!"

What's Hollyoaks' producer Paul Marquess like to work with?
"Paul is great. He has a very hectic schedule so we don't get to see him very often - we don't just pop in for a chat, because he's a very busy man! But everything that he's done for the show has just been so positive. The new titles are on, the ratings have gone up and it's all just really, really good. I think that Paul has got some great ideas."

Is there anyone in particular who you enjoy filming scenes with?
"I love working with Paul Opacic, who plays Carl Costello. The relationship between Mitzeee and Carl is a really interesting one, so the scenes are always good fun to play, so he's great to work with. Kim Tiddy, who plays Heidi, is also great to work with - again because her relationship with Mitzeee is so good to play. Mitzeee is just such a fun character, so I think that with everyone she meets, each person takes her differently - and that's what I really like. For example, in the late-night episodes I worked a lot with Jess Fox, who plays Nancy - and that was great because they're literally like chalk and cheese, but strangely enough it seemed to work!"

Will we see Mitzeee continuing with her glamour career and all the promotional events?
"I hope so - that's her job, so that's what she'll have to do! She is a glamour model - but she's actually a struggling glamour model, even though she wouldn't admit that herself! But I think that the main thing I'd like is for the viewers to see what Mitzeee is really like - because I don't think she is the person that she portrays at all. But I also think that's there's a lot more fun to be had with her before she starts getting dull!"

Are you hoping to stay in the show for a while?
"I certainly hope so! I feel like I've only just started, so I hope that Mitzeee will stay around for a little while - and I hope that she can cause more trouble!"

Candy McCulloch has revealed details of her role in this year's series of Hollyoaks Later.

The 24-year-old - who is the daughter of Echo and the Bunnymen star Ian McCulloch - will next week feature in a gritty storyline when she appears as new character Sami on the late-night soap spinoff.

Sami is the girlfriend of Michael Bisping's character Nathan - a bad boy who is about to cause trouble for Costello brothers Riley and Seth.

Speaking to the Liverpool Echo about Sami, McCulloch explained: "When we first see her, I think she seems quite manipulative, but I don't think she's bad at all - at least I hope not.

"I think she's probably quite scared of Nathan and does as she's told."

McCulloch enrolled in the Manchester School of Acting in 2008 after deciding to pursue a career on the screen. Hollyoaks Later was her first major acting job.

Reflecting on the experience, she added: "To be honest, I was nowhere near as nervous as I thought I'd be. It was so much fun and everyone was so nice, I just really enjoyed it. It was a fantastic opportunity for me and I learned so much from it in such a short space of time - it was just invaluable."

Hollyoaks Later airs at 9pm on E4 all next week.

Some spoilers about fire week in November:shocked:.

Each episode will focus on a different story, Monday will focus on Malachy and Mercedes, who decide to get back together and have a baby, they are caught up in the fire as they walk past Il Nosh just as theres an explosion, which throws them back and leaves Malachy unconsicous.

Tuesday follows Amy's story, as Lee promises to dump Leanne for her, she is babysitting Amber and falls asleep on the sofa, totally unaware that smoke is coming uo from under the door.

Wednesday follows Amber and Finn, Amber sneaks Finn in and Amber takes a pregnancy test, she is pregnant. When she opens the door a huge blast throws them across the room, they are trapped and can only get out via the skylight, on the roof, Amber slips and is left sliding towards the edge.....

Thursday follows Steph and Gilly, walking home from the fireworks display they hear a bang and rushg to the scene, Gilly goes for help whilst Steph stays with Mercy and an injured Mal, but notices a desperate Amy banging on the window and goes in to help. She manages to save Leah and Lucas, but goes back in for Amy and is surrounded by fire...

Friday continues all the stories, Steph is still inside and Gilly breaks down into Rhys' arms as all the the residents flock to the scene, the emergancy services finally arrive and news of the deaths spread through the crowds...including a guilty looking Brendan...

Yesterday we teased which character was going to be returning to Hollyoaks. There was lots of speculation and some of you clever guys n’ gals managed to guess the right answer before it was even revealed in the show. If you didn’t catch the episode (shame on you, straight to the back of the class!) then you will have missed old favourite Mandy appearing out of nowhere and scaring the bejeebus out of Duncan. He thought he had seen a ghost. Literally. Luckily though, Mandy's still very much alive and kicking.

Actress Sarah Jayne Dunn is delighted to be back in the show, mixing with friends old and new. She said:

"It's great to be back, I feel like I've never been away and it's fantastic to work with all my old friends. I’m really excited about being a part of the show again and about the storylines that producer Paul Marquess and the rest of the team have in the pipeline for Mandy."

Why do you think Mandy’s back though? Do you think she will reignite things with Tony? Or is she back to look after Tom after hearing about Steph’s terminal illness? Although poor Bart getting stabbed by Jason:(, relieved Mitzeee saved Nancy from being gang raped.. disturbing when the McAllister bros forced Seth and Riley to beat each other up but thankfully thanks to Sami they and Carl got out in time.. thankfully Sami escaped as I thought Liam and Nathan killed her then there was Theresa going into labour. Loved the Mercedes and Malachy scenes, gutted he is leaving:(.

No she managed to free the Costello guys who escaped but then Nathan and Liam turned nasty on her, however she left the mansion in a car that was parked outside but it's not finished yet;). I like Sami and hope she is made a regular like what happened to Cheryl and Lindsey!.
