I can maybe see the case for Helen since that was a close final vote, but Deana annihilated Conor in both evictions she was up with him. And even if he would win from Facebook voting, the White Room would still happen and I don't think Deana would be stopped from there

It annoys me how Jay is apparently one of the favourites at this point. The show is protecting him so much in how gross he is, from Rebeckah exposing him for the 'fisting' talk he's done, the BOTS exclusive of him pissing on Mark in the shower, and even BOTS protecting him on this latest show by saying he said something so gross they refused to broadcast it, so just shown an exclusive of housemates reacting in disgust :skull:.

That series in general gets far too little BOTS exposure or references compared to most other Ch4 series, but the only good housemate they had on was Kemal. The rest on have been Eugene, Anthony, Saskia, Orlaith and Maxwell (though for him I only read somewhere), essentially my five least favourites from that series :skull:

I cannot fathom in anyway how Harry ruining the shopping list that the house worked so hard on achieving is in any way funny. Why did he do it for any reason other than mindless, childish, spiteful attention. It demonstrates how embarrassing of a person he (and to an extent Anton and Aaron) really is. There was nothing to gain from ordering 500 bananas and a 1000 boxes of frosted flakes or something along those lines. It's actually really harmful to the well being of the other housenates. At least when Rex did it, it wasn't as drastic and at least when Caroline did it, she got deservingly laid into and insulted for it. Glad that he's back to being my least favourite!

I couldn't even side with Jay that much in his crusade against Harry, because it involved destroying some food anyway, which inflicts his housemates more and is just as bad as what Harry did. Nothing can top Adam hiding Ashleigh & Co's cigarettes<33333

That series in general gets far too little BOTS exposure or references compared to most other Ch4 series, but the only good housemate they had on was Kemal. The rest on have been Eugene, Anthony, Saskia, Orlaith and Maxwell (though for him I only read somewhere), essentially my five least favourites from that series :skull:

Day 37 has made me question whether to like Aaron. I don't like how he's essentially told Faye he doesn't trust her because she flung food around with the other housemates. I was siding for him in the rants about the food wasting because I always detest when a housemate does it for no reason, but to go personal with Faye, someone who clearly cares for him, by telling her she's having fun with people she 'won't speak to on the outside' is a frustrating way to behave, as was his pandering apology to her. I also didn't like how he'd walk off and distance himself during certain housemates getting their letter from home e.g. Anton, and slyly making it about him.

He was way better in the first few weeks when he wasn't doing this cold, isolated persona.

Finished BB1 last night. Highlight of the final was when Craig had his little niece on stage with him after he won and they were cuddling then Davina came along tapped her on the shoulder and said “Erm could you go down there please” :skull:

Next I’m going to watch CBB1, and I’m going to try and see if I can watch it in a day because it’s only 8 episodes, so I might start in the early hours of tomorrow morning if I remember.

3. Anna: Anna was likeable throughout the whole series but she really started to shine towards the end, and imo she should have won the first series. My favourite Anna moment being BOBBY BLEEDIN DAVRO??? :shocked: Anna joins Rachel, Imran, Sian and Sam Brodie in the list of housemates which are proof that you don’t need to be OTT to be likeable on BB. :love:

4. Darren: Lots of people say that Nick was the best male housemate of the series but I think that crown goes to the underrated Darren. :clap1: His wishy-washy nominations combined with how clueless he was made him a fun housemate to watch, and he had Nick clocked from the start which was a howl. <3

5. Melanie: Her friendship with Anna was the OG Big Brother rootable alliance <3 I’ll now always think of Pret A Manger as Pret A Manager. Not sure why she was hated at all, I thought she seemed nice. :shrug:

Nicholas: Nick’s a tricky one for me to have an opinion on because I can appreciate the legacy and how he made Big Brother the show it became but until the “big reveal” he was so slimy and I wasn’t really getting the hype at all? His failure of the assault course after telling the HMs he was in the army was funny though, which was the day he was found out. So a neutral housemate for me, but overrated for sure.

7. Sada: Seemed like she had potential if she stayed but sadly she was booted first, although she had to be sacrificed for our Caggy. </3

8. Thomas: I felt sorry for him in the beginning because he was struggling to fit in but then he did fit in pretty quickly and that’s all I can remember about Tom.

9. Claire: Nice but quite dull. :worry: I wish I could say more but I can’t think of anything else to say about Claire Strutton...

10. Craig: I don’t think he’s necessarily a bad person but my god he’s so smarmy. Think Akeem from BB19 mixed with Ryan from CBB22 and you have Craig! Really annoyed me how he was fine with Nick’s scheming until it was turned round on him as well and he came out of it looking heroic. I will be haunted by that image of him licking Claire’s back for life. :yuk: Having said that, he gave the entire prize fund to his friend with Down’s Syndrome who needed surgery in America so props to him because he’s clearly a nice guy really. At this point of the series, the crowd was so out of touch from forums and the Facebook voting was in full swing.

I know Aaron's fans probably think him going against the group plan of everyone being up by getting 2 noms each, rebelling this by putting Louise up and giving her 3 noms, was some stroke of genius on his part but I really don't see it that way. Him nominating Louise right before SHE was nominated, it was obvious Louise wouldn't be able to go with the group plan after he ruined the vote ties, and was obviously going to give Aaron his second vote out of disappointment and then put Faye up as well. I actually found this REALLY idiotic and vapid on his part, because Faye was booed last week and has even more chance of going in a head to head.

And I'm not agreeing with those who think this was his clever plan to avoid being nominated. He's topped the VTS every, single, week, and would've with the whole house up. His ridiculous nomination of Louise instead of Alex that would lead to things being evened out caused his girlfriend to be up that he supposedly cared about and is causing her to be out when she probably wouldn't have been if the whole house was up. He's proven himself as a grade A wanker in my book.

It's just like when Jason evicted Lateysha and it was seen as some sort of brilliant mastermind move, when really him doing it made him a public enemy and only made the final due to that week's eviction being VTS, the week after being up against Laura, and then a VTW due to a shortened series where even that was engineered in his favor. But Aaron is a much more offensive case of this luck, since his absolutely intentional and NOT accidental actions caused his girlfriend to be up after he kept proclaiming about how much he cared about her.

Aaron clearly forcing being sad about Faye's eviction reminded me of Steven Goode's "Poor cow :( " when Kimberly left except Aaron didn't do it in a funny way and it's also compiled with the money being split into 50K each and him caring more about figuring out the meaning behind it. He was much more upset at Harry leaving than Faye leaving. And fair enough if that was because he was in shock that Harry got evicted, but he still had huge accountability for causing Faye to be evicted and the most upset he gets is doing the usual moping around he does anyway :skull:. Faye really did fall for him too much and it's a shame because she had potential to be an even better housemate otherwise.

Trying to be as disruptive and annoying as possible. To try and draw attention to herself! And I'm just sat here thinking "There's a lot nicer people that have left this house than what's left." But there's six days, I just have to sort of sit it out... great. :cloud:

So much wrong with this diary room. Aaron once again shows how little he cares or respects Faye, and his snaky little mind cares much more about how the money is being split, showing how awful he really treated her in the end, he's proven to be an utter UTTER phony by saying he doesn't like the people left despite saying that Alex has "inspired" him and that he wants her to win "more than anyone", and how dare he accuse the others of putting on a performance when this is the same person who talked to themselves frequently near the camera, did two and a half showmances (nearly doing one with Louise), and acted up either quirky or snarky personality traits. If you're going to be a camera performer, don't avoid responsibility for it. What's worse is how he describes each of them. Tom obsessed with the money? Tom constantly trying to keep the camera on him? Alex acting stupider than she is? Jay trying to act like a camp sweetheart? LOUISE OF ALL PEOPLE TRYING TO BE A REBEL WHO DISRUPTS??? These are ALL things Aaron is way more guilty of and the others really aren't from my view. But i'm still disgusted at the sudden shafting he's done to Faye like this. It's not on!

Louise, Aaron and Jay had the chance to use prize money they earned for presents for Alex's birthday and they originally all refused until Louise/Jay decided to do it anyway out of simple kindness and Aaron's got the hump for the millionth time and accusing them of playing up to the cameras in his usual passive aggressive way of making it look like he's not criticizing you at all when he really is, and now he's moping off in a strop for the millionth time and ruining the happiness of Alex's birthday.

Brings me back to tragic memories of Siavash storming off in a huff for pointless reasons on David's birthday for attention. With Aaron it's possibly even more pathetic considering he's over 30 and continues to willfully distance himself from people over the smallest thing. He's a child.

15. Mark - A random last place to have I know, but Mark did nothing for me as a housemate and I can't tell whether I'd have hated him winning or Aaron winning more (both equally likely outcomes). He was the typical housemate who's clearly trying so hard to be funny but plays it off as that he's being himself, and Mark's personality is so flat and non-charismatic that he's not an exciting housemate either. 'WILLY WILLY WILLY' was a terrible running gag that continued even after he left, and speaking of willys, not only did he get his out far too often (something so gross producers refused to ever show it fully visible), but he also punched Aaron in the willy and it was during one of BB12's forced montages (will get to those later), and it was played off like it was nothing but it actually really pissed me off and shown to me how secretly aggressive this prick actually was, making me have no issue with putting him last.
14. Aaron - I had him as high as being a really like-level housemate not long ago, and I quite liked him when he was being himself rather than a robotic gameplayer, but his last two or three weeks were so unbelievably terrible that it gives me no choice but to drop him. But it also exposes to me how much I should've disliked him sooner. How he reacted to Faye's exit after CAUSING it shown to me he never really cared for her in spite of the many preaches that he did throughout previous weeks. Him previously being righteous about Jay was proven redundant by Jay getting the better of him in an argument and making me think he forced righteousness previously. I thought Jem went too far on him only for me to realize she was right. I could do this for virtually everyone who complained about him. I also reached the realization in the end that he's the kind of person who thinks they're above everyone just because they're older or more intelligent, and that's something I hate in 9/10 of the housemates that do that. I get why he's a divisive housemate, and to an extent I understand the appeal, but in the end he was nothing but a snarky douche for me.
13. Aden - Sometimes unintentionally funny in regards to his rapping improv and his relationship with Rebeckah, but more often a weak-minded follower lacking in maturity. I also will reiterate the point that he DESERVED every amount of emotional manipulation Rebeckah did to him after he absolutely DID try and force a relationship with her. To a failed womanizer, that's the karma that comes!
12. Anton - Pretty disappointing. There's remnants of an intriguing housemate there, but it's let-down by him being a failure of an antagonist, and not in a funny or endearing way like Victor whom he was trying to emulate. He also was quick to back out of the actual bad things he did, and that's not what a great BB villain does, Anton.
11. Jay - So mixed on him. I loved his final week and think he deserved to win based on that alone, but the rest of his time was relatively banal sometimes. He was a big character and all, but whenever I was about to root for him about something, he'd do something that'd go too far and I'd go off him again e.g. his reaction to the bananas. His relationship with Louise I also thought seemed genuine and sweet, but he did really insane things like write how much he loves her in love hearts or blood :skull:. I also cannot condone the way producers protected him from the numerous gross actions he did like ****ting in a box and putting it in the freezer just to name one of many :skull:.
10. Harry - Went in HATING him and one or two times I hated him again and I NEVER like when housemates ruin shopping lists, but he had a sweet relationship with Faye, was involved in some hilarious arguments, had an intriguing personality albeit not fleshed out enough, but still not an invigorating housemate.
9. Louise - I liked her down-to-earth and nice personality, and she was always a pleasant presence whenever the focus was on her, however sometimes I was a bit off with her like finding Jay's romantic gestures, including the blood one, the most romantic things anyone's ever done for her :skull:, and the stuff she did with Heaven's wine was pretty sketchy too.
8. Maisy - Like Louise, another likeable personality, but I wasn't as off with her as often and sometimes even quite liked her. But she didn't really do anything that excited me much either apart from the blowout between her, Aaron and Faye that I just remembered I HATED Anton for and I did like how she fell out with him<3.
7. Tom - The males were so terrible that I did not think Tom would be my favorite of them. While he never wowed me, and in early weeks I didn't like him, particularly in the times he clashed with Faye and even Aaron, but he slowly and surely grew on me, and was a fun supporting character presence to have. Him and Alex were my fav duo out of the many of this series as well.
6. Jem - Not that full of personality, but her conflicts with Aaron as well as her own sister Faye (:joker:) were very enjoyable and I'm glad she was sent in when she was, as the series would've been lacking in conflict without her.
5. Tashie - A very interesting and funny person who should NOT have been evicted over HARRY and AARON :skull:. The way she kept thinking she'd become best friends with Pamela Anderson whilst always being ignored by her was hilarious, as was her belief to be a superstar in general.
4. Alex - Way more of a likable and exciting version than the other so-called down-to-earth, normal, female housemates such as Kate, Josie, Sophie, Chloe, maybe even Rachel, and she was my winner out of the (lack of) choices that were there. BB12 was very banal in house conflicts, but Alex (and to a lesser extent Tom) was always there in a chipper mood delivering funny and lovable lines, and deserving of the portion of money she got. The way she always undermined herself but being perked up by all the other housemates was always pretty gratifying too.
3. Faye - Probably the most complex and interesting of the cast, Faye was the main thing that kept me interested in the post-Maisy weeks of BB12. The way she was always in an emotional dilemma with Aaron was a really unique and poignant aspect to her, even if somewhat unsatisfying in the end where she still forgave him after the many awful things he put her through. But she was still a good-natured person, with the value of also being a fun emotional mess to watch.
2. Heaven - So entertaining in a short space of time, Heaven was over-the-top in a pretty innate way without making it look like she was trying to make it look natural (eg MARK!, AARON!). She always got involved in house dynamics, usually to her detriment, and was maybe the most unique of the cast in that regard.
1. Rebeckah - Perhaps the most underrated housemate of all time, Rebeckah is a magnificent case study of someone who's so cheerful and welcoming to others while simultaneously being there to challenge and take advantage of everyone and it was wonderful. I enjoyed the likes of Bea and Roxanne for what they were, but Bea was lacking in quirkiness, light-heartedness and diverseness, and Roxanne was lacking in any successful actions, but Rebeckah more than makes up for this in her role as the short-term antagonist. She did so much in a short space of time and I'd argue CARRIED the first two weeks all on her own. She made me laugh a lot in how over-the-top she was without trying, she made me surprised many times with loads of unpredictability, she constantly made me wonder what her motivations would be through her numerous random actions, she was an intricately BRILLIANT housemate, and would've flourished on a better series.

I don't really want to call this my least favorite series and tbh I can't tell whether or not it is, because it's a cluster**** of Ch5 editing which I already found bad enough in BB18 and BB14, but it's way more apparent here and is the series biggest flaw moreso than any housemates ever really ruining it. It's such a drastic jump from Ch4's way of doing things, and even though CBB8 already proved this would be the case, doing so for the first civilian series was the real last straw. The conflicts in the house after Maisy leaves also become really repetitive and there's a lack of proper growth in most of the housemates for me to get behind. The production was really all over the place and unlike BB10, the cast didn't really make up for that. The series felt both way too quick and rushed to watch while somehow also feeling very slow. This is because of dozens and I mean DOZENS of hammy montages that take up their own segments and a tragically mixed bag of housemates with a lack of consistency as to what I could rely myself on enjoying. Do I have anything good to say? It was... unique? Ergh.

Next up for me to watch is BB4! Not doing a poll, as BB4 is not available on youtube but is on another site and better watch it while I have the opportunity to. It also doesn't get talked about enough, as it's a generally shafted on series. The only recent watcher is y.winter, but that doesn't seem to be continuing at the moment so here's to a one-of-a-kind watch coming sometime soon!

That's the first time a launch actually bored me. None of the housemates had exciting VTs and all of them had the most basic of info about them. For each color slot they're all pretty interchangeable. Even the solo noms within the first night twist wasn't really that interesting given the enthusiasm of the people doing it.
