Arsenal draw with 10 man Blackburn at the Emirates, and United have won the league :bored:

I can't understand these people jumping the gun saying that United have now won the league:conf:.

The gap at the top is 8 points but United could still drop points before then, plus Arsenal have a game in hand and play United at the Emirates in the May so the gap could be reduced by then so it's not over till it's mathamatically confirmed..

United slip up once every like 15 games, they'll slip up once at most in the run in. Arsenal will probably still drop more points in the next 7 games than Utd, even though they need them more.

Blackpool were considered safe at one point but now they're in amongst the battle to stay up, performances have dipped in the second half of the season for them and points are coming hard to get..

Manchester United have a poor team but it looks like the league is now wrapped up. Arsenal, Chelsea, and Manchester City will be the other teams in the top 4. Tottenham will finish 5th and Liverpool 6th.

I can see Wigan finally going down (good, we don't want small clubs in the Premier League). Blackpool won't win again all season and will finish bottom, Holloways great adventure has well and truly ended. The other relegated team will be Blackburn Rovers so no Lancashire teams in the Premier League next season unless you count Bolton.

In the Championship QPR have wrapped up the league title, I can see Swansea getting 2nd place despite their loss at the weekend to a very determined Preston team. Norwich look like a good bet for the play off's and I like their yellow kit so hopefully we'll be seeing them in the Premier League next season. Nottingham Forest have collapsed when it looked like they were certainties for 2nd, can't see them even making the play-off's now.

In the relegation battle, Scunthorpe have all but gone (Will their knew manager be regreting his decision to leave Bury considering Bury won and look like they're going up to League One the same league which Scunthorpe are going to be in next season?). Preston finally showing some fight but I think it will be too late and they have a difficult game at Reading on Tuesday. Sheffield United, Preston North End and Scunthorpe will go down.

In League One, Brighton have obviously already won the league. Southampton will sneak 2nd and Huddersfield will win the play-offs. It would be good to see an historic team like Huddersfield back in the Championship.

What a fantastic season Dagenham & Redbridge are having in League One in their first season of third tier football. Plymouth are down and might be going out of business soon, lets hope for their sake that they survive.

Barcelona have already got La Liga won after Real Madrid's very unfortunate 1-0 defeat at home to Sporting Gijon which was Mourinho's first home loss in 9 years. Valencia and Villareal are miles ahead of the team in 5th and will get Champions League football next season. I can't belive Malaga are still bottom after their takeover in January and singing of Demichelis.

It looks like Internazional's dominance in Italy is coming to an end after their 3-0 loss to AC Milan. Napoli, AC Milan, Inter and Roma will be the teams in the Champions League places at the end of the season. Another dissapointing season for Juventus with them in only 7th position. This is simply unaccepatble from a club with such a big fanbase a history.

Thankfully no-one was hurt when three bombs were planted by a loon outside Borussia Dortmund's ground. The game went ahead and Dortmund won 4-1which puts them closer to winning the title. Bayern Munich won against Monchengladbach (The bottom team) with a goal from Robben. I think the CL teams will be Dortmund, Leverkusen and Bayern Munich.

Steve Mclaren has left his mark on Wolfsburg, they find themselves 3rd from bottom when the expectation was for them to challenge for the Europa League places at the start of the season. McLaren should have stayed with Twente in Holland, he made a terrible mess of the job at Wolfsburg. St Pauli's idiot liberal fans threw things at the linesman at the weekend, this is an utter disgrace and they should be given a point deduction by the DFB. I think Monchengladbach and St Pauli will go down with Stuttgart in the relegation play-off which they'll win.

Lille are 4 points clear in points clear of Marseille in France, it's a two horse race between the two team and I think Marseille will win it for the the 2nd time in a row. Lyon look in danger of not qualifiying for the CL but I think they will make it just. Lyon, Marseille and Lille to make the Champions League.

Arles-Avignon have got the be one of the worst team in European top flight history, they have got only 12 points after 29 games, 20 points from the 17th placed team. Monaco look like they're going down which is a same really as they are one of the most romantic clubs in Europe. Auxerre are somehow 17th despite playing the CL this season.

Porto have won the Portugesse league after beating Benfica at the Estadio de Luz and are only 5 games from going unbeatan all season in the league.

Agger out for the rest of the season, Johnson out for a month, Kelly out for a month. This leaves our defence as:

Aurelio (just back from injury, never completes a full 90 mins), Kyrgiakos (responsible for both goals we conceded against West Brom), Wilson, Carragher, Skrtel. So we have 1 full back, unless we bring Flanagan or Robinson in from our reserve squad.

Man City and Arsenal the next 2 teams we play, we're going to concede about 5 goals in each one.

Two of English football's top-four clubs could be excluded from European competition in future as they fail Uefa rules that are about to be introduced.

The Financial Fair Play Regulations do not come into force until 1 June and will not really bite until 2013.

However, a study of recent accounts by BBC Sport shows Chelsea and Manchester City would fall well short of the rules if they were being applied today.

City were £110m in the red while Chelsea showed a deficit of over £50m.

Uefa's rules allow clubs to run up losses of £65m over the first five years.

Financial fair play has been introduced by European football's governing body Uefa to try and level the playing field between clubs funded by the super rich and those less fortunate.

In simple terms, teams cannot spend more than they generate from the football side of their business.

im ****ing annoyed at this fix,why did they add like 8 miniutes on in the blackburn vs birmingham game? roger johnson was down with a head injury (which they didnt stop play for) in injury time anyway.

well the answer is they wanted blackburn to score as when they did get there unfair equaliser, the refer****ingree blew his whistle for half time conviently.

10 games and 648 minutes without a goal for Torres now

He had a few chances today, doesn't look like the same player but he'll score for them at some stage i'm confident of that and think that some of the criticism is a bit harsh:blush:.

Torres still isn't quite clicking with Chelsea's style and they haven't got a Gerrard kind of player who he connected well with to provide the passes and combine with for goals, despite the quality that is in the Chelski squad...

Did notice a lack of blue flags at the Bridge last week:shocked:, Abramovich must have forgotten to sort them out:joker::. Disastrous season for them and he's showing his lack of patience plus his lack of confidence in the manager he employs to take care of the footballing side of things:rolleyes:.:joker:.

Some Liverpool fans not happy still about the manner in which Torres left but the money got 2 new strikers in for the price of 1;).

Birmingham did really good in the circumstances,I can forgive the Goalkeeper,he wasn't too well on the day.Wolves seem doomed.

I agree,I think a lot of Referees need to go to specsavers or better still be removed from the game for good, if they make bad decisions and its proven they have, they should not referee another game for the remainder of the season or part of the next season, that would likely sharpen their eyesight.

Let me just say.

AAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHAHAAHHAHAH **** off evra you little man.

"Maybe against Arsenal we think it is going to be easy but we didn't make the game easy. - Well theres a mistake why would you think playing arsenal is easy??

"We were too nice. We know Arsenal. They keep possession of the ball but they are never dangerous. - Never dangerous? we are always dangerous, just when luck actually shines our way. We have scored loads and done good against the top 4.

"But normally when we come to the Emirates, we play with more power and aggression and create more chances.

"You have to kill that game early, not wait until you concede a goal. - You never do that you sit back and counter..?

"The attitude at the beginning of the game wasn't right. That is why I was very frustrated. We didn't deserve to win."

No you didnt vidic should have been off to. Prick.

No-one's going to stop Barcelona winning the Champions League this season. Might as well give them the trophy already.

The Barcelona vs Real madrid match last night just proved to me that the Referees have to go.

Ive seen the cameras in the rugby,I think there quick and they also do a better job than the Referees do.
