We've been in contact with Spurs about Crouch, they want 14 mil for him. But they're interested in Babel aswell so I can see a swap deal happening.
And Crouch has been told by Abby Clancy that hes gotta move back down here to save their relationship to get away from the bad influences in London, after he slept with that prozzy.
If he signs... We'll have Abby Clancy, Alex Gerrard, and Carly Zucker all at the one club. I guess that could end up linking Terry with us aswell.

Everton boss David Moyes is hoping to pull off a cut-price transfer coup by snapping up Spanish defender Jose Angel.
Angel, 20, has a £15m release clause in his contract and is tied to the club until 2014, but he is understood to be avaialable for just £3m.
Could be another Moysey bargain signing if this comes good, and I do think we need more depth defensively, he'd be the ideal back up for Bainsey. Young lad too :)

We've signed Seyi Olofinjana on a season long loan from Hull, perfect signing! Just what we need is a bonecrusher in the center of the park :)
Ross McCormack is off to Ipswich :bawling: for 500k and Jon Stead :/ I'd rather take the money and leave Stead cos he's shyte, but is one of those players who always scores against us. Gutted to see Ross going, he's 2nd string to Chops and will never get a chance as he's overweight and has a real drinking problem, so a move could help him sort his lifestyle and he could be the amazing player he was 2 seasons ago, he'd be a great asset for Ipswich.
Brian Clark, Cardiff legend died this morning :( scored the winner when we beat Real Madrid 1-0 in the 70's. Met the guy last year, top bloke but he's been unwell for a while. R.I.P Brian, you hero x

I've heard it all now from the Daily Star...Moysey to Villa?!! :joker:
Also being reported that we're going in with a 13mil bid for Remy, errrr and we're getting this money from where exactly?!
Everton are making an audacious £13million move for Loic Remy - and will help fund it by selling Yakubu to West Ham.
Nice striker Remy, 23, has turned into one of the hottest transfer properties this summer and is due to make his France debut against Norway on Wednesday.
West Ham have been at the forefront of the chase but have been unable to come up with the necessary cash and realise £8m-rated Yakubu is a more realistic target.
Tottenham and Stoke have also shown interest but have other targets and Remy acknowledges Everton represent his best opportunity of coming to the Premier League.
Although Everton have been struggling to find funds, the club's backers want to give manager David Moyes the chance to break back into the Premier League's top four. They see Remy as the man to give the side the clinical touch they are missing.
What a load of ****e, we'd be lucky to get 8mil for Yak, and we can't afford Donovan at 10mil so where the hell is the money going to come from?? The clubs backers?!! We've just secured Arteta and working on Pienaar (both with a significant hike in wages)..I don't know where they get their info from.

Yes we can :D
He's apparently got a clause in his contract meaning if he's dropped from the main squad he can apply to have his contract terminated. Therefore if he gets dropped from the 25-man squad he can effectively quit and recieve a severance pay from Man City which will benefit us as well as him as it will be a lot less than his current 90k a week contract. Then he could join us on a free, and he's previously stated playing football isn't about money so he'd take a huge pay cut

Good luck to West Ham with Yakubu if they get him, I honestly don't think he's got 15/20 goals a season in him anymore, plus he's become awfully lazy, but then this is what he does, has a couple of good seasons for a club and then gets restless and complacent so maybe him going would actually be a blessing for us and for the Hammers. Fabianski confident of No.1 spot.
Arsenal goalkeeper Lukasz Fabianski is convinced he has won the race to be the club's first choice custodian this season, reports the Daily Mail. Manager Arsene Wenger has recently been believed to be lining up moves for a string of top goalkeepers, including Shay Given, Pepe Reina and Mark Schwarzer, but Fabianski, who joined the Gunners from Polish outfit Legia Warszawa in 2007, said: "I hope it will be a breakthrough season for me. I have a double task. I want to become the No.1 in the Arsenal goal and that would help me to realise my second target – to be No.1 in the national team."
LOL!!!! Never..
Stuttgart defender Serdar Tasci has reportedly admitted that a move to Arsenal would be difficult to turn down after being strongly linked with Arsene Wenger's side all summer.
The Turkish-born German international, 23, has made more than 100 league appearances for the Bundesliga side since breaking into the first team in 2006 and was part of his country's squad that reached the semi-finals of the World Cup.

EVERTON were left bemused last night when West Ham United made a fresh bid for Yakubu – for less than their rejected initial offer. the Londoners returned yesterday with a new offer of £5m to sign the 27-year-old.
Pffffffft what a joke :joker: Needless to say it was rejected.
Jack Rodwell got MOTM last night in the England U21's match against Uzbekistan, was captain for 60 odd minutes until he was subbed (to a standing ovation) and played really, really well from what I managed to see, Capello was watching so hopefully he'll get a call up to the senior squad before too long. Danny Welbeck was really impressive too I thought.
Moyes has rubbished ideas that he may go to Villa in an interview on TalkSport, not that really even needed saying lol but good to see him speak out and dismiss it so adamantly and declare once again his commitment to Everton :)

I've actually got Shawcross in one of my fantasy football teams, I really rate him. And agreed on Hart too.
I'd take the 9mil definitely, then maybe look to try and get Donovan. I just think that Moyes has set his mind on not selling at all this season, and he's put such a big price on Yakubu to send a message that our players aren't for sale. I say give him till Jan to see if he comes good, though I personally don't think he's going to be the same player of a couple of seasons ago again, mainly due to his injury, he doesn't seem to have recovered well tbh, and people are using that as an excuse, Mickey, Jags and Fellani have all come back from serious injury and all looked/look great. I think his best days are just over.

Yak not worth more than £2m
West Ham chairman David Sullivan says he won’t offer more than £2m for Yakubu, although figures for previous bids for the Nigerian striker coming from West Ham have been quoted at much higher recently…
The Hammers’ chairman says that Everton want £8m for the striker, but that the Londoners want to pay no more than £2m.
“We have cooled on Yakubu,” said Sullivan. “When you have a good hard look at him, we want younger and quicker and better.
“Everything has a price. You want to get Yakubu for £1-2 million and they are quoting £8 million and that is far too much.
“They have to be more realistic. If they said £1-2m we might go back. We bid more at the start of the summer because we had more flexibility but, at this moment in time, having spent some of our money on other players we want him for £1-2m.”
The Yak joined Everton for £11.25m two years ago and scored more than 20 goals in his first season on Merseyside.

Top 10 Youngsters set to light up the Premier League this season.
1 ) Jack Wilshere
The attacking midfielder who has played out wide but prefers to operate in the centre is hopeful of first team chances at the Emirates this season. His loan spell at Bolton did not go unnoticed as he earned his first senior England cap against Hungary this week. The creative schemer has received high praise from Capello: “He plays without fear, with confidence. This is not normal to be so young and so good.”
2 ) Jack Rodwell
This talented Evertonian made his senior debut for the club at 16. He has been utilised in defence but is destined for a central midfield role given his quality on the ball. The 19-year old who scored his first PL goal against Manchester United earlier this year impressed as captain this week for the England under-21s as they beat Uzbekistan.
3 ) Victor Moses
When Crystal Palace were forced to sell their most prized asset in January, this Nigerian born youngster was linked with moves to both Manchester clubs and even Real Madrid. Eventually the delights of Wigan beckoned for the speedy, powerful playerswho is used either as a winger or a striker. Known for scoring spectacular goals the 19-year old can expect more playing time at the DW
4 ) Chris Wood
West Brom’s Young Player of the Year was within a whisker of giving New Zealand a victory in their 1-1 draw with Italy at the World Cup. The 19-year old Kiwi striker featured fleetingly in the Baggies’ last PL season. The imposing figure who has been heralded as an old-fashioned centre forward may bring an extra dimension to West Brom’s attack this season.
5 ) Marc Albrighton
With a new manager imminent at Villa Park, this tricky winger will be hoping to impress this campaign. The 20-year old who has once turned down by West Brom came through Villa’s youth system. Accustomed to playing on the right wing, Albrighton is known for his pace, skill and accurate crossing ability.
6 ) Zavon Hines
The 21-year old Jamaican born forward should have sent a clear message to Capello about the dangers of calling Jamie Carragher out of international retirement when he easily outpaced the Liverpool defender last season. The West Ham player earned his side a penalty that day and scored a last minute winner in the home game against Aston Villa. Currently sidelined with a knee injury, the forward should regain starting opportunities on his return to fitness. The Upton Park crowd quietly refer to him as the new Jermaine Defoe.
7 ) Phil Jones
The 18-year old centre back won admirers and rave reviews in the latter half of last season making nine appearances for Blackburn. Tipped as a future England centre-back, the player appeared calm and authoritative in their defence. Sam Allardyce has said his transition into a regular first team player will be carefully managed. Continued commanding performances from Jones may scupper that cautious approach.
8 ) Nile Ranger
The 6ft 2in London born striker has been praised by Toon legend Alan Shearer. The smartest move he made during his short managerial stint at St James’ Park was to reward the payer with a new long-term contract. The tall and pacy forward is a prodigious talent and may be thrust into the spotlight if Newcastle’s front line is not strengthened.
9 ) Jordan Henderson
The midfielder earned the Young Player of the Year award at this boyhood club last season. Henderson scored his first PL goal at Manchester City last year and racked up many more assists as he was a revelation on Sunderland’s right wing. The energetic midfielder with an eye for a good cross has committed his future to the club, much to the delight of the Sunderland faithful.
10 ) Adam Johnson
At 23-years old the Manchester City winger who played the full 90 minutes for England this week may no longer be considered a young, up and coming prospect. Plucked from Middlesbrough in January, Johnson adapted seamlessly to life at big spending Manchester City. In keeping with the trend for wrong-footed wingers, the left-footer poses a goal threat on City’s right wing and commits full backs on their weaker foot. His curling goal against Sunderland last season was inspired and sublime

Steven Gerrard has revealed he would "love" Everton counterpart Mikel Arteta to come into the England fold.
Arteta, who is from the Basque Country and is Spanish by nationality, has never been capped by the reigning European and world champions. He qualifies for England through the residency rule like his compatriot Manuel Almunia, the Arsenal goalkeeper.
You want to play with the best players, and if it makes the England squad better, of course I'd like to see it.
Steven Gerrard on Arteta
And Liverpool skipper Gerrard admits he would welcome his Merseyside rival into the England camp. He told TalkSPORT's Drive Time: "I'd certainly love nothing better than to see Mikel Arteta available for England.
"You want to play with the best players, and if it makes the England squad better, of course I'd like to see it," he went on. "I think it happens to most national teams [that they pick non-nationals], but it's up to him if he wants to make himself available. You want to play with the best players, and if it makes the England squad better, of course I'd like to see it."
Gerrard added: "Fabio Capello is the man to answer the question because he's the manager, but for me he's an excellent player."
Well said gerrard.

Reports this afternoon suggest Arsenal and Manchester City are in talks over the sale of Eastlands keeper Shay Given with the stopper’s former Newcastle United teammate Warren Barton reportedly revealing on American television that the transfer could go through any day now.

Arsenal Set Sights On £12m Dutch International Centre Back: Wenger Targets Mathijsen
Joris Mathijsen has emerged as a target for Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger as he continues to search for another centre back to help stabilize his back line after losing the services of William Gallas, Sol Campbell and Mikel Silvestre. The 30 year old Hamburg defender played a key part in Holland’s World Cup campaign and is a vastly experienced player who may well be interested in a new challenge after four years in the Bundesliga. - I would be happy if we signed him!!!
Arsenal are reportedly in talks with Stuttgart to sign 15-year-old midfielder Serge Gnabry after he impressed on trial.
After joining the Gunners on a week’s trial, he did so well the club extended the deal for a further three days so youth coach Liam Brady could check him out in pre-season friendlies for the under-18 team.
And the club will want to put a deal in place quickly in order to allow him to make the move on his 16th birthday for a nominal fee.
The German, who can also represent the Ivory Coast was sensational against Birmingham City, grabbing a goal and assists, and the North London side have moved quickly to beat any other potential suitors.
Gnabry scored 30 goals from an advanced midfield position last season and will continue Arsene Wenger’s policy of bringing the best talent from the continent to the Emirates Stadium.
Neil Warnock has tipped Arsenal to win the Premier League title this season – if they can clinch the signing of Mark Schwarzer from Fulham.
The Gunners have failed to pick up a major trophy since their FA Cup success in 2005 and their last league title came a year before that.
But, while Warnock believes champions Chelsea will again be prominent, the QPR boss says the addition of an experienced shot-stopper like Schwarzer can give Arsene Wenger's side the edge.
*
“I think they’ve needed one (a keeper) for a while and if they can get somebody like him who is so reliable it will be a massive piece in the jigsaw,” Warnock told the Alan Brazil Sports Breakfast.
“I think whoever finishes above Chelsea will win it. I have a sneaky feeling this year for Arsenal for some reason.
“I think Arsene over the last few years has taken stick but he has been building quietly and they have got more experience – and Fabregas staying is a massive plus for them.”

Yeah i saw that they had signed Ozil, fantastic bit of business there by Madrid, i'm afraid that if they could get Ozil for £12m they should never have shelled out £80m for Ronaldo. I think Ozil could be just as good as Ronaldo in a few years.

Speculation is hotting up around a move for Bordeaux midfielder Yoann Gourcuff, after it was believed that Manchester City scouts were in attendance for the French clubs 2-1 defeat at home to Toulouse this weekend.
Despite enduring some what of a difficult summer in South Africa with his national side, Gourcuff has been on the radar of a number of Premier League clubs in recent times, with the likes of Arsenal, Chelsea and City rivals Manchester United all tracking the 24 year old.
Although speculation around a move to a top four Premier League club has lessened in the last few months, it is believed City are ready to swoop in and make yet another big money move as they look to mount a title challenge this campaign.

Scott Parker is the latest English player to emerge on Roy Hodgson’s radar at Liverpool.
Despite West Ham’s unwillingness to sell their 30-year-old captain, Parker is admired at Anfield where Roy Hodgson has been monitoring his situation for some time.

Arsenal are reportedly on the verge of signing Italian international Riccardo Montolivo.
The 25-year-old midfielder was heavily linked with a move to the Emirates as recently as June, with Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger reportedly keen to sign the player as a potential replacement for Cesc Fabregas.
Wolfsburg will offer Liverpool winger Ryan Babel a career lifeline with a possible £9million switch.
Arsenal continue to look to the future after reportedly agreeing a deal to sign Stuttgart teenage starlet Serge Gnabry.
Japan ace Keisuke Honda is aiming for a move to the Premier League in January.
The 24-year-old has been linked with some of Europe’s top-clubs after he was the star performer for the Blue Samurais in the World Cup.
His classy displays led to Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger branding the CSKA Moscow playmaker a “genius”, and the Gunners are now favourites to sign the £12 million-rated man.

It’s a miracle! Manchester City are putting three players up for sale – players who evidently have no future in Roberto Mancini’s title challenge season. Perhaps the most widely expected name on his list is Robinho, the 32m flop from Real Madrid, who spurned Chelsea for the riches of Eastlands in 2008.
His first season wasn’t half bad, although his home and away form was like Jekyll and Hyde, and managed to hit 13 goals despite some expectations of 25+ a season.
Another one for the exit door is Roque Santa Cruz, the Paraguayan international who chose to forsake mid-table Blackburn for (then) mid-table Manchester City last year. However, one injury after another has significantly hampered the striker’s City prospects – and just 3 goals from 19 appearance just isn’t good enough.
At 17.5m, the loss of Santa Cruz at a cut price or for free would not be the end of the world, but certainly a disappointment for the man who once showed so much potential for club and country.
And finally, Shay Given may come as a surprise departure to some, but the form of goalkeeper Joe Hart for Birmingham City last season (and at Tottenham on Saturday) has breathed new life into England’s future hopes between the sticks. As such, there appears to be very little room for the Irish shot-stopper, who has proven over the years how safe his hands truly are.

Sky Sports News caused outrage amongst Liverpool fans after altering images on banners in the Annfield crowd for a pre-match montage preceding the 1-1 draw to Arsenal on Sunday.
The images were altered to show Roy Hodgson in the same picture of managing legends Paisley, Shankly, Dalglish and recently sacked Rafa Benitez, implying the newly appointed Hodgson is certain to replicate fortuitous times on Merseyside.
Fans took this as a sign of disrespect, especially to the last managerial campaign, which came under a lot of criticism from the Sky Sports punditry .The Liverpool faithful have expressed their absolute anger on a forum dedicated to all concerning the club. Fans explain that whilst they are supportive of the current boss, he has to earn such respect and Sky shouldn’t exploit the images created by fans just for the hype (created by the company) of an English manager in a top four side.

Steven Pienaar has insisted he loves playing for Everton and is happy to sign a new deal if fair terms can be agreed.
The South African midfielder has been linked with a move away from Goodison Park despite never stating that he was looking to leave.
The speculation stems from the fact that negotiations over a contract extension have dragged on for some time and he is yet to officially commit his future to the Toffees.
Pienaar's current deal expires next year and a number of other Premier League clubs are thought to be monitoring his situation.
However, the 28-year-old maintains that he still enjoys life with Everton and hopes an agreement can be sorted soon.
Evertons a weird club, with the exception of Rooney and Lescott everyone wants to stay and always have lol.

Probably because it's like a big family at Everton, everyone whose ever played for us says what a great atmosphere there is and how the team is always really tight :) Don't get that very much these days.
I just hope Peanut isn't trying to hold us to ransom and wants the same money as Mikky, he's not worth it, I'd pay him 50/60k a week tops in a new deal. Having said that I do hope he signs soon, he's been a great player for us.
