SO frustrated. Completely outplayed Villa all over the park and still lost 1-0 after a silly mistake from Fellani. Should have been about 5-0 to us.
Coleman needs to play right midfield, solves our problem there beautifully, and looked threatening right from the off when he came off the bench.
Beckford isn't ready to play as lone striker, should have either gone 4-4-2 or started with Saha. Why Moyes brought Johnny on for Hibbo when we needed goals I don't know, and we can't play Rodwell out on the right again, he loses all his impact.
Despite all that we still should have fcking won, crazy amount of possession and something like 13 corners??!! And still couldn't find the back of the net I'm so annoyed!!!!!

Albrighton really impressed me, Luke Young too:). I like Ashley Young but he kinda disappointed me a little and I don't think Carew or Agbonlahor did as much as they could..

Probably deserved something?! Lol we completely outplayed you in the first half, and for the majority of the game tbh. Had a stupid amount of corners (18 I think), at least 6 shots on target...I can't remember the last time I've felt so frustrated after a game, should have been about 3-1 to us at half time and about 5-1 at FT with the amount of possession and chances we had. Just couldn't put the ball in the back of the net as per usual when we dominate games! Your only goal came from a stupid defensive mistake.
Moysey made a couple of poor decisions today, and I want to know wtf is going on with the Yak, he was unavailable again for todays match, and he and Saha are our only proven strikers. Beckford is out of his depth at the moment and can't play as lone striker.
At least we've got a couple of weeks now before the Utd game at home, knowing us we'll go and pull off a solid win against them lol. Being an Everton fan is so bloody frustrating!!

Arsenal Captain Will Join Barcelona Next Summer As Part of £100m Double Premier League Swoop
Barcelona – fresh from signing Javier Mascherano – will launch a £100million double swoop for Cesc Fabregas and *Fernando Torres next summer.
That’s the amazing claim of Nou Camp midfielder Xavi.
The World Cup winner reckons the Catalan giants are *determined to land the two *Spanish superstars.
Barca swooped for Liverpool’s Argie midfielder Mascherano in a £22m deal at the end of last week.
And Xavi reckons they are determined to raid the Premier League again in 2011 for *Liverpool striker Torres, 26, and Arsenal captain Fabregas, 23.
Xavi, 30, said: “Every Barcelona player wanted Cesc to join this year – we made no secret of that.
“But we are prepared to wait another year.
“Everybody in football knows where Cesc’s heart is.
“He’s from Barcelona and was a youngster at the club. It’s not like we have to try to convince him to join – it’s where he wants to be.
“We know the longest we have to wait for Cesc to come home is another 12 months.
“Everybody can live with that. We would love Nando at Barcelona too – he is the most complete striker in the world.
“We have seen what he and David Villa can do for Spain and to have that every week at club level would be frightening.
“I believe he is getting quite disheartened.”
And Xavi is scathing about Torres’ club prospects for this season.
The Spaniard had a close look at Liverpool as the Merseyside club dumped Barca out of the Champions League in 2007 – the season before Torres joined.
And Xavi added: “The season before last Liverpool sold Xabi Alonso to Real Madrid – and now this season they have sold Mascherano.
“Being brutally honest they haven’t brought any top-class players in to replace the ones they have sold.
“They haven’t tried to improve the squad.
“Nando deserves to be playing with the best players like he does with Spain.
“If Liverpool have another disappointing season that will be it for him.”

Liverpool Ready to Offer Tempting £14m Player Plus Cash Move for England International: Hodgson Wants Carlton Cole
Liverpool manager Roy Hodgson, reportedly keen to bolster the Reds’ attacking options, is said to be targeting West Ham United striker Carlton Cole – and may be prepared to offer the Hammers Ryan Babel or Lucas as sweeteners in a possible cash-plus-player deal.
MOURINHO WILL FOLLOW FERGIE - SNEIJDER
Wesley Sneijder believes Jose Mourinho will replace Sir Alex Ferguson at Manchester United when the Scot eventually steps down.
Ferguson has been in charge for almost 24 years at Old Trafford, overseeing the most successful period in the club's history.
Arsenal Plan Last Ditch Move for £14m Rated Keeper Hugo Lloris
Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger will make a last ditch attempt to sign Lyon keeper Hugo Lloris and may offer Manuel Almunia as part of any deal to take the French international from the Ligue 1 side. The Gunners boss is still trying to capture Mark Schwarzer from Fulham but is looking to hedge his bets by making a substantial offer for the 23 year old Nice born goalie.
Lyon have started the season poorly and sit 15th in the domestic table after the opening four games and Lloris could be persuaded to make the move to the Premier League, a move he may feel is a step up from the Ligue 1.
Although some reports believe that the Emirates boss is willing to stick with Manuel Almunia and Lukasz Fabianski it is worth noting that Wenger has made bids for replacements for the current first team pair which would indicate a willingness to bring in a new first choice custodian.
A move Laurent Blanc’s first choice international keeper won’t come cheap and a bid in the region of £14m would be needed to secure the highly rated Lloris.
I know its probably untrue but OHHHH MYY GOSH!
I want Lloris!!!!

Liverpool plot move for French international
Liverpool - Lassana Diarra a reported Anfield target
Liverpool have reportedly joined the race to sign French international midfielder Lassana Diarra.
The 25-year-old midfielder is thought to be one of a string of players poised for a Real Madrid exit in the closing stages of the transfer window, and Liverpool boss Roy Hodgson is thought to be keen on the player.
Wenger defends Fabregas.
Arsene Wenger has told the fans that he expects unsettled captain Cesc Fabregas to be back to his best for the Gunners, report the Guardian. Le Professeur withdrew the Spaniard from the Blackburn match after only an hour, despite a decent performance from the World Cup winner. Wenger said: "I don't think he is the type to give anything less than his best, just because he didn't get a move. He may have wanted to join Barcelona but he loves Arsenal as well." Wenger went on to add that once Fabregas is match-fit, he will also likely be mentally ready to return to his best for Arsenal.
Juventus are looking to pip West Ham to Arsenal left-back Armand Traore on a year-long loan deal. - One of the best young left backs around.
"Yes, Traore is one of the players we are interested in. We will see what happens," said Juventus general director Beppe Marotta.
Roberto Mancini has indicated that Robinho and Roque Santa Cruz could leave Manchester City before the transfer window closes.

Arsenal Defender Bacary Sagna Not Moved By France Captaincy Rumours
Right-back eager to pass on his experience...
Arsenal defender Bacary Sagna has says he is unconcerned about rumours he is to be named the new France captain.
New head coach Laurent Blanc is on the lookout for a skipper after previous incumbent Patrice Evra's five-match ban after his role in the World Cup 2010 disaster. The ex-Manchester United defender has declared he will choose his successor on Friday, with Sagna, Roma's Philippe Mexes and Chelsea's Florent Malouda the rumoured candidates.
Speaking to L'Equipe, Sagna stated he will just concentrate on passing on his experience to the younger players in the squad.
He said: "As a player called regularly, yes, I think [I could be a candidate].
"Now, the most important thing is first to be powerful, to pass on my experience to the younger players and put them at ease.
"My role is to defend the colors of the France team, not worry about that [captaincy].
"But I think every player here feels important. In order to make an impression and assert themselves, it takes personality."
Anyone think he would be a good captain?

Serdar Tasci has not given up on a dream move to Arsenal in January.
The Germany defender was a summer target for the Gunners and north London rivals Tottenham, but Arsene Wenger was put off by Stuttgart’s £10m price tag.
Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger instead signed Lorient defender Laurent Koscielny and Sebastien Squillaci from Spanish side Sevilla.
But highly rated Tasci, 23, is still hoping to attract a bid from the Londoners in January and his representatives have made it known he would welcome the challenge of playing in the Premier League.
According to the agent of Marco Borriello, Real Madrid tried to sign the Italian international prior to Tuesday’s transfer deadline day, but were scuppered because Karim Benzema refused a transfer to Marseille. Jose Mourinho recently expressed his disappointment at failing to bring a striker to Madrid this summer, not least because he harbours concerns about Benzema, who has been strongly linked with a move to Manchester United for the last two years.
Theo Walcott was delighted to see Jermain Defoe steal his mantle of the last player to score a hat-trick for England on Friday night, hailing his team-mate's complete performance against Bulgaria.
Defoe plundered three of his country's goals in yesterday's 4-0 win at Wembley as their European Championship qualifying campaign got off to a flying start.

Alan Hansen outed lol.
BEfore the world cup..
Before the World Cup, he wrote a column in which he said that Walcott had no natural instincts to play football. That if he was given time on the ball he was fine but that he had no clue how to play the ball instinctively.
It is no slight on a player to accuse them of not having a football brain. You either have one or you don’t. It is about natural instinct, the innate ability to see things before they happen. Wayne Rooney has it and Kenny Dalglish had it. When Bob Paisley used to say at Liverpool that, at the highest level, the first two yards were in the head, he was spot-on.
If Theo Walcott had that ability to see the picture opening up, that football brain, he would be a world-beater, but he has a long way to go and we still don’t know how he will ultimately turn out.
This season..
I had to go back and look it up because when I watched the video of Hansen on Match of the Day I swore that he said just the opposite: that his instincts were just fine, but that Theo struggled when given too much time.
What you’re always going to judge him on is not what he does well and what he does instinctively, it’s when he’s got time to think about it. That’s the big criticism, when he’s got time to think about what’s happening I think he struggles a bit.
Completely contradicted himself lol!

We're not shyte. The individuals who play for us are great, we have the likes of Bellamy, Bale, Collins, Church, Earnie, Williams (can't believe I just admitted that, but he's the scum's only good player), Morison who's one for the future along with Blake and Matthews... the U21 side look awesome and they'll be pushing to get in the first team, and don't forget we have Rambo and Collison to come back from injury.
The problem is that clueless, tactically inept, fat horrible jack **** can't get these players to play as a team. We need someone in who can fire-up the boys, not some lard arsed tosser who couldn't inspire jesus and select some of the ****tiest players possible like Ledley and Ricketts. Manchester City striker Emmanuel Adebayor says that Manchester City feels like a bigger club than Arsenal.
The Togo striker was thought to be in line for an Eastlands exit following Manchester City 's signing of Mario Balotelli . However, Adebayor was selected in Roberto Mancini's 25-man Premier League squad and believes that with the caliber of players at their disposal, Manchester City are bigger than the Gunners.
Asked by FHM if City felt bigger than Arsenal, Adebayor replied, "Yeah it does feel like that… With the great new players we've got we have a wonderful chance to make history.
"But it's all about results. If we can win ten games in a row, people will class Manchester City as bigger than Arsenal."
The 26-year-old is set to further antagonize Arsenal fans as he commented on his controversial goal celebration against the Gunners last season.
Adebayor said, "I showed the fans my hunger, passion and I showed my love for the club… Ultimately, the fans just want to see that and feel it inside their bodies."

Dutch winger Arjen Robben says Tottenham have signed one of the best midfielders in the world in Rafael Van Der Vaart , and has compared him with Arsenal captain Cesc Fabregas .
“With Rafa on board, Spurs really do have one of the very best midfield players in the Premier League, maybe even the best," Robben told the Star.
“I don’t know why he didn’t join Bayern in the end. I really wanted him but Spurs have bought a gem.
“In terms of his vision, his range of passing, his ability to split a defence and his eye for goal he is as good as Cesc Fabregas , Steven Gerrard and of course Frank Lampard.
“He is that bridge for Spurs that makes them go from a very good Premier League club to a team capable of taking on and beating any side in Europe on their day.”
“When you consider the amount of money Real Madrid and Manchester City have spent on players, it’s almost unbelievable to think what Spurs reportedly paid for Rafa.
“Madrid almost gave away one of the best players in the world – but that’s their style.
“They got rid of me and Wesley Sneijder in the same summer and I went on to win my domestic league and get to the Champions League Final while Wesley went on to win the Treble and become the best player in the world.
“Madrid’s mistake will very much be Spurs’ gain.
“I knew of his interest in England and that van Persie had been speaking with him about how great life in London was.
“I think when Robin was trying to convince him how great London and the Premier League was, it was as though he was trying to convince him to join Arsenal.
“It’s kind of backfired on Robin a little bit now, though, because he has signed for their biggest rivals.
"Before Rafa signed, I’d still have had Arsenal down as the stronger team – but now I don’t think there is anything between them.”
“For fans who have not seen a lot of him, I would compare him to Cesc Fabregas . He can play out wide, but his ideal position is playing in the middle of the park as playmaker.
“Spurs can play him as they wish but he is by far the most talented player in their squad. If they don’t build the team around him in the middle, it will be a big waste.”
Robben and Adebayor are off their rockers laughable LOL

Our new signing, Squillaci looked awesome against blackburn reserves.
Skipped past 3 players played it to a forward player which lead to a goal.
Was great.
And
Koscielny said about blackburn..
I did OK. It was a special game, a proper English game with a lot of aerial balls, free kicks, lots of corners as well as balls on the floor. It’s always hard to play against teams like that but we showed our quality, it was a decent performance.
I was indeed told that this was a game that Arsenal could have lost so it was good to win the game. It wasn’t a brilliant performance like we produced at Liverpool where we played lots of very good football, this was more a case of matching Blackburn, keeping it tight and compact, attacking and defending as a team.
I think I could have got the ball when they scored and I think maybe I still had the red card against Liverpool on my mind. I didn’t start the game too well but I learn from games like this and looking back, I don’t think the performance was too bad.
Good to see him being honest.

Top 10 most hated PL players poll results
10. Kevin Davies – Although many can argue that Davies does perform his roll as a physical attacker well, grabbing a number of goals for Bolton that have made many suggest that the former Southampton striker should be part of Fabio Capello’s England side, his physicality at times borders on almost assault and has left many defenders feeling his presence at the end of a game, most notably former Middlesbrough defender Emnauel Pogatetz who endured a horrific tackle at the hands of Davies some seasons ago.
9. Emmanuel Adebayor – Following his move to Manchester City last season, Adebayor has become not only hated by many other clubs within the Premier League, the Togo striker has now become public enemy number one at the Emirates. His actions after his goal for City against former club Arsenal demonstrate the player’s arrogance and lack of respect for his former employers, underpinning why he is despised by many across the country.
8. Rio Ferdinand – Whether it’s his actions on the football pitch or his TV exploits in recent years, the Manchester United defender is a player who has never really been endeared by fans both for club and country. Missing a drugs test 2003 resulted in the player receiving a 8 month ban and while this player likes to keep in touch with his fans through his regular tweets, Ferdinand will have a hard time winning over those who have hated him from day one.
7. Gary Neville – Although Gary Neville has never particularly done anything to make himself hated, the Manchester United defenders perceived stupidity at times has made him a constant thorn in many fans sides. This view is further enhanced through the constant show of man love the player showed to long time friend David Beckham during their time together at Old Trafford and although Neville has been a good servant for United, it seems that it will only be fans of the Red Devils who will remember the former England internationals playing career with fondness.
6. Didier Drogba – When it comes to pure attacking talent, nobody can argue that Chelsea striker Didier Drogba is one of the best strikers to ever lace up his boots in the Premier League. However, the players outspoken and at times childish behaviour while on the field is very much an annoyance to everyone.
5. Craig Bellamy – Craig Bellamy is a player who is universally hated by all fans due to his actions over recent years which saw the player allegedly attack former team mate John Arne Riise with a golf club during his time at Liverpool. There’s no doubting that the Welsh international has a lot of talent with the ball at his feet, but maybe the now Cardiff striker needs to concentrate a little more on his game and less on his golf swing.
4. Ashley Cole – Ashley Cole is a player who once again has all the talent in the world on the football pitch but off the field the Chelsea defender seems to be one of the best when it comes to making the bad move time and time again. His recent divorce of Cheryl Tweedy after allegedly cheating on her, worked wonders in alienating a lot of people who follow Cheryl through her time on the X Factor. However, to some fans, Cole was on their black list a long time ago, particularly those at North London, when Cole’s outrageous wage demands resulted in the player leaving Arsenal for Stamford Bridge.
3. Joey Barton – Joey Barton is without question one of the most hated players to play football in England ever. His past actions have saw the player attack members of the public outside a MacDonalds, assaulting a 15 year old Everton fan and stubbing out a cigar in a youth players eye. These actions very much show why his is hated by many and no positive action on the football field is going to change this image.
2. El Hadji Diouf – While the Senegalese player has seemingly calmed down his behaviour now he is at Blackburn, the player’s antics and general hatred from the public comes from his time spent at Bolton and Liverpool. The biggest incidents which caused this outcry came with Diouf spitting at both Celtic and Middlesbrough fans as well as Portsmouth defender Arjan de Zeeuw, who took the incidence with professional and restraint, which I don’t think many other people would have been able to do!
These actions alone warrant Diouf’s place amongst the most hated and it took someone special to stop him from being at the top.
1. Cristiano Ronaldo – Well yeah you could have guessed before this poll even started that the number one would indeed be Cristiano Ronaldo. These is no question that Ronaldo is probably one of, if not the best, player to ever play in the Premier League. His technical brilliance and amazing goals are a joy to see for many fans across the country. However, this great skill is very much juxtaposed by an arrogance and at times down right cheating behaviour that has saw the Portuguese playmaker dive on numerous occasions, making his wonderful moments pale in significance as many fans remember his for his cheating attitude rather than his technical brilliance.

Arsenal's Brazilian whizkid Wellington targets first team after impressive stay ahead of £3.5m January move
Arsenal's new Brazilian starlet Wellington is dreaming of Premier League glory after spending a month with the Gunners ahead of his permanent move to North London in January.
Wellington, recently called up to the Brazil squad, is said to have impressed during his brief stay, and has revealed he sees first-team opportunities at the Emirates Stadium coming sooner rather than later.
The 17-year-old striker now returns to his Brazilian club but is due to complete a £3.5million move from Fluminense in the 2011 January transfer window - when he turns 18 - after a deal was struck earlier this year with Arsenal.
'The experience in London was perfect. I can now dream of playing in the Premier League and I don't think it will be hard for me to adapt,' Wellington said in The Mirror.
'Mr Wenger has spoken with me and has helped me with my work and training. I am really looking forward to this challenge. It's a great opportunity for me in my career.'

Lol!
manchester city's injured striker mario balotelli is flattered to hear of ac milan's interest, but the player's agent insists the italian is focused on becoming a success in the premier league.
The city frontman only joined the eastlands revolution last month after leaving the rossoneri's bitter rivals inter milan in a reported £24million deal.
But that has not stopped milan vice-president adriano galliani from expressing his desire to sign the fiery 20-year-old at some point in the future.
And balotelli, who was ruled out of action for six weeks with a knee injury on wednesday, admits galliani's comments sit well with him.
The self-confessed milan fan told sky italia: "i'm pleased for the words of galliani. I like ac milan, they are a strong team."
fantasy
balotelli's agent mino raiola, though, maintains his client will not contemplate a move back to serie a with his career at city so fresh.
He added: "balotelli to milan is only a fantasy that does not correspond to reality.
"the owner of manchester city is an important character and now would be wrong to think of the future.
"mario must keep a cool head and prove to be a big player in england, then after a few years we'll see.
"in the market you can never rule out anything, his move to milan, real madrid, juventus or a return to inter. But talking today about it is wrong."

The Top TEN Premier League Rogues
1. Joey Barton
Joey Barton has been one of England’s most controversial footballers in recent years, and the list of his misdemeanours is a long one indeed. When he began his career at Manchester City, he looked like a real talent, but that has gone to waste as his career was derailed by a number of unsavoury incidents. In December 2004 Barton stubbed out a cigar in the eye of Man City youth player James Tandy in a nightclub, for which he was fined six weeks wages. In May 2008 Barton was given a six month prison sentence for assaulting a man and a teenager in the same evening. Barton also assaulted team-mate Ousmane Dabo whilst at Man City, and was given a four month suspended sentence.
2. Tony Adams
Arsenal legend Tony Adams is now a rejuvanated character and is widely respected in the game, but during his playing career he had some serious issues. A one club man, Adams found himself in a battle with alcoholism in the early 90′s, in one incident in 1990 he crashed his car into a wall in Southend, after he was way over the drink-drive limit, and was jailed for four months. After his release Adams still suffered from alcoholism and let off fire extinguishers in a Pizza Hut with Ray Parlour after being taunted by rival fans. Adams has since turned his life around, and set up the Sporting Chance clinic to help other sports people deal with their problems.
3. Marlon King
Marlon King has played for a few player Premier League clubs but he is probably now best known for his 18 month prison sentence. Dating from 1997, King has 14 convictions for a range of different crimes, but his most notorious offence took place in December 2008. King on a night out in Soho, had his advances rejected by a 20 year old student and he was arrested on suspicion of punching her in the face, causing her a broken nose and a split lip. King was sentenced to 18 months imprisonment and had his contract cancelled by Wigan. King has since been released but has yet to find a new club.
4. Craig Bellamy
Craig Bellamy is another controversial figure with a host of nefarious incidents in his past. At Newcastle in 2005 Bellamy fell out with then manager Graeme Souness over selection issues and also sent abusive text messages to Alan Shearer, ending his career at St James’. In 2006 Bellamy was cleared of assaulting two women in a Cardiff nightclub, but his reputation was already sinking. In 2007 whilst playing for Liverpool, it was alleged that Bellamy had attacked John Arne Riise with a golf club and both players were fined for the incident. The Welshman is not all bad however, and in 2008 he set up a football academy in Sierra Leone in which he invested a significant amount of his own money.
5. Jermaine Pennant
The former Arsenal and Liverpool winger had looked like a star of the future, but his career stagnated and was also marred by off the field events. Whilst serving a 16 month driving ban for a previous offence, in 2005 Pennant crashed his car into a lamp-post after he had been drinking, he was sentenced to 90 days in jail but was released after 30, though he did have to wear an electronic tag when playing for Birmingham.
6. Lee Bowyer
Lee Bowyer was a fine player at Leeds United, but his career there was damaged in 2000 when he and Jonathan were alleged to have caused grievous bodily harm to a student. He was cleared and Woodgate was convicted of affray, Bowyer did however agree an out of court settlement of £170,000 with the individual in 2005. Whilst playing for Newcastle, Bowyer and Kieron Dyer had a fight in the middle of the game and had to be separated, ending the formers career with the Magpies.
7. Rio Ferdinand
One of the world’s best centre backs for the past five years, Rio Ferdinand has been no stranger to controversy. Ferdinand became Britain’s most expensive player when he signed for Man Utd in 2002 for a fee of £30 million. In 2003 though, his United career took a turn for the worse as he failed to attend a routine drugs test, and he was banned for eight months, missing Euro 2004. Since his ban, Ferdinand established himself as one of Europe’s top defenders.
8. Ashley Cole
For a number of years Ashley Cole has arguably been the nations most hated player, and this is down to two different factors. The first instance when Cole became unpopular was when he turned down an Arsenal contract of £55,000, saying in his autobiography that it was “taking the piss”, even though it was a weekly wage most of us can only dream of making in a year. Cole was already widely hated by football fans, and when it was revealed he had cheated on the nation’s media darling Cheryl Cole, he became one of the most reviled figures in England.
9. John Terry
The Chelsea captain was the subject of intense media scrutiny when it was revealed that he had had an affair with Wayne Bridge’s ex wife. At this point John Terry was England captain, but Fabio Capello deemed his misdemeanours as bad enough to justify his removal as captain, and Rio Ferdinand was given the armband in his place.
10. Wayne Rooney
Wayne Rooney has become the latest England international to be embroiled in a tabloid scandal, with the News of the World alledging that he cheated on wife Colleen on a number of occassions. Rooney was once seen as a loyal family man, yet his latest antics which he has not denied have ruined this image. His form for Manchester United and England has suffered since the World Cup, and he needs to put his personal problems aside before he is able to reach his full potential once again.

Arsene Wenger looks set to rely on the fitness of attack duo Carlos Vela and Marouane Chamakh as Arsenal come to terms with the diagnoses of ankle injuries sustained by both Theo Walcott and Robin van Persie.
Both the England winger and Dutch striker are expected to be sidelined until mid-October after picking up ligament damage in matches against Switzerland and Blackburn Rovers respectively. Walcott had started the season in blistering form for the Gunners scoring four goals in three appearances on the right side of an attacking trio. Joined by van Persie at Ewood Park, the World Cup star lasted less than half an hour before being replaced by new boy Chamakh.
Neither the Vela nor Chamakh have much experience of leading the line in the Premier League, but with Danish teammate Nicklas Bendtner also sidelined and with Eduardo da Silva having been sold to Ukrainian side Shakhtar Donetsk, they could well be thrust into action on a regular basis over the coming six weeks.

Sir Alex Ferguson has insisted there is no chance of Ryan Giggs being appointed the new Wales manager.
The Manchester United midfielder has been linked with the role that was this week vacated by John Toshack, having previously admitted that he would be interested in one day managing his country.
Giggs' playing career is drawing towards a close and reports had suggested he might be contacted about the possibility of combining his United duties with the Wales post until he hangs up his boots.
However, Ferguson has now moved quickly to rule out such a scenario after holding discussions with Giggs.
"I spoke to him. It will not happen," said the Red Devils manager. "It is impossible to do both."
Selfish
Ferguson hopes the 36-year-old will carry on playing for United until the end of the 2011/12 campaign and does not feel he can divide his attention between playing at the highest level and managing an international team.
"We have to be selfish here. I am not even prepared to negotiate on this matter," explained the Scot.
"At his age, Ryan needs to use all his energy and concentration to be here.
"It is a big season for him. It maybe his second last, it may be his last. We want it to be the second last.
"The best way for that to happen is for him to concentrate on being here."

Arsenal are reportedly tracking Serbian international defender Neven Subotic.
The 21-year-old centre back originally appeared on the radar in North London back in April, with Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger hoping to land the player before the World Cup.
Subotic showed his class during the tournament in South Africa, building on his reputation as one of the best young defenders in Europe alongside Nemanja Vidic.
A Bundesliga regular at Borussia Dortmund, Subotic joined the German side from Mainz 05 in 2008 and has since made 78 appearances in all competitions.

Arsene Wenger feels Sir Alex Ferguson has shown special qualities to chalk up 700 Premier League games in charge of Manchester United.
The 68-year-old Scot - who took charge at Old Trafford in 1986 - is set to reach the landmark in the match at Everton.
Wenger's relationship with his old adversary has mellowed somewhat in recent years, the pair having more than the odd bust-up when Arsenal and United battled for domestic supremacy.
The Frenchman - now in his 14th season with the Gunners - has someway to go to catch Ferguson, with 527 Premier League games to date, and paid tribute to the United manager.
'It is dedication and it is a fantastic achievement,' Wenger said. 'He deserves a lot of credit to show such consistency at the top level which needs special qualities and special dedication.
'That certainly means 700 sleepless nights before and 700 sleepless nights sometimes after the game.'

A host of Premier League clubs are hot on the tail of Spanish giants Real Madrid in the race for Borussia Dortmund’s talented young defender Neven Subotic.
The 21 year old was one of the stars of this summer’s World Cup after a number of impressive displays with Serbia, peaking the interest of a number of Europe’s top clubs. However, this strong showing in South Africa has meant that if any club is looking to secure the services of Subotic they can expect to pay in the region of £20 million for his signature.
The Serb joined Dortmund in 2008 and after a number of impressive performances for the German outfit, Subotic has become a rising star at the Westfalenstadion, resulting in the former Mainz 05 youngster penning a new deal to keep him at the club until 2014.
Subotic is a constant professional and while there is much speculation regarding his future, the youngster is looking to see out his current contract with Dortmund, until current speculation becomes something more concrete.
Ajax hierarchy have admitted that the club would be incapable of turning down a substantial January offer for talented full-back Gregory Van der Wiel. Manager Martin Jol is also worried that fellow star players Maarten Stekelenburg, Luis Suarez and Jan Vertonghen are also susceptible to big money offers from interested parties. The news will alert Premier League giants of Chelsea, Arsenal and Manchester United who have been tracking the Dutch clubs top stars for the last 18 months.

I live in the West Midlands:).. when I say us and we I mean it in the context for United as a team, players and fans.
Yes, but I don't get why you refer to them as 'we' and 'us' when you have no real connection to the club.

Southampton are a dirty bunch of ****ers, beat them for the 4th time since last August (and second time in 2 weeks), they haven't scored against us in any of those games.
Thanks to their keeper we are without the best striker in League 1 for quite a while. Luckily he had done the business before he was stretchered off. Scored against Saints every time he has played against them now.
Who got taken out? I don't like S'ton either their entire fanbase is full of wankers.

Charlie Austin was stretchered off after being clattered by Kelvin Davis. Discolated shoulder.
Then in the last minute (this picture doesn't show how bad it was).....

he's lucky both legs are still intact - it was a horrible challenge, the ball didnt seem to move at all, he just went straight over the top. It was full of frustrated malice and nothing much else in the last second of the game. What a *****. An inept ref had his red card out but was talked out of it by their players and showed a yellow.

I think yous will get automatic promotion along with QPR.
One thing in the Championship that has really came to my attention though is how bad Middlesborough are LOL.. it's brilliant..
1. My English team is Newcastle so i don't particularly like them.
2. Their team is just full of SPL rejects who have been taken from the Old Firm, seriously do they not have scouts who travel outwith Britian?
3. I'm a Hibs fan, Kevin Thomson used to play for us then in the lead up to his move to Rangers he made statements like "I would walk barefooted along the M8 to sign for Rangers". Showing a lot of disrespect to us who brought him up as a youngster, so yeah he's pretty hated around here so whoever he plays for i usually hope results go against them, and they are 20th.:laugh2:

My opinion on today's games.
Everton 3 - 3 Man United
Good to see that the team I used to support have dropped points by conceading two gaols in the stoppage time and could have apparently lost the game in the last seconds.
Arsenal 4 - 1 Bolton
Really expected better from Arsenal. They were struggling until Cahil was sent off.
Fulham 2 - 1 Wolves
Dirty play from Wolves.
Man City 1 - 1 Blackburn
Poor from Man City. They really need to beat these teams if they are going to challenge for the title.
Newcastle 0 - 2 Blackpool
The lucky Blackpool march on. Don't worry it will come to end soon and they will sink down the table.
West brom 1 - 1 Spurs
Poor from Tottenham.
West ham 1 - 3 Chelsea
Fantastic victory. We have made a brilliant start and I personally think we can win the quadruple this season.
Wigan 1 - 1 Sunderland
Who cares?
Burnley 4-3 Preston
Unbelievable game. The only thing that ruined it was the dreadful referee.
Cardiff 2-0 Hull
Good win for Cardiff but I wouldn't be getting too excited if I was a Cardiff fan. There is a long time to go and I personally can't see them getting into the Play-Off's.
I really hope Southampton get promoted, they don't deserve to be League One. I hope they can promotion to the Championship then to the Premier League. they were a great Premiership club and St Mary's is a wonderful stadium.

We bossed the game completely we had 4 - 6 very good shots on target in the first 30 minutes.
We were winning 2 - 1 when cahill got sent off, but we were already in control.
A weakened side and we still dominated.
Fabregas is back to his best some real vision.
Carlos Vela is also an excellent player and i think it will be good for him to start playing regularly with Bendtner and RVP out.
And Rosicky is like having a new 10m signing.

Being a bit of sad bastard I watched the whole game again on ArsenalTV online this morning. I thought I'd review my opinion of the referee's performance and the team in the cold light of day. Stuart Attwell was the referee and I think he brought a lot of the trouble on himself with some poor inconsistent decisions making, although he was certainly not helped at all by his linesmen who were about as useful as stuffed marrows at times.
The game certainly didn't start off as a niggly one. The problem was that the overly physical and aggressive tackles were encouraged by the referee's failure to adequately deal with what went on in the first half. Elmander was slightly fortunate to avoid the book for sliding in late on Cesc early doors, Steinsson was also rather late on Gibbs. Rosicky was nailed late by the sliding Davies on the 15 minute mark, again no card. The first yellow then came for an appalling late lunge on Wilshere by Davies, he could easily have been sent off by now and only 18 minutes had elapsed.
Arshavin should then have had a penalty, Steinsson took his legs before getting the slightest of touches on the ball, the referee was well positioned by choked. The thuggish Robinson then got away with another overly aggressive tackle, this time on Cesc, anyone who knows the game could recognise the deliberate violence in this kind of tackle, the linesman who was a few yards away saw nothing wrong. Kieran Gibbs was then given a yellow card for a tackle which in isolation was a yellow card, however if the referee was to be consistent then he should have booked at least five Bolton players by this point. Again the inconsistency of the officiating was staggering, both teams had one yellow but the nasty fouls had virtually all been committed by the one side.
The first half still wasn't over. Muamba astonishingly got away without a card when he slid in dangerously with his studs up through Cesc Fabregas, for some strange reason the referee felt a talking to was enough. Several Bolton players were protesting to the referee, including Cahill who had run a significant distance to have his 'say'. Cahill also had time to chop through the back of Chamakh when nowhere near the ball. So although there wasn't massive controversy in the first half, if one looks back it is easy to see where and when the referee began to lose control of this game. One has to be consistent and firm to keep control, and the referee clearly didn't do this.
The second half saw the indiscipline spill over, the referee's laxity meant that Bolton thought they could continue to get away with murder. Steinsson was carded early on for a cynical foul when Wilshere was breaking dangerously. Shortly after we had scored to make it 2-1 Davies was very lucky not to be sent off, he went in very hard and late on Koscielny with his head, it did appear that Davies knew very much what he was doing. The ref appeared to bottle this decision, the tension was building here because of the referee's lack of consistency, Arsenal players were getting frustrated as a result of the lack of protection and Eboue was booked for saying something along these lines.
The big moment came with the Cahill red. Bolton claim Lee was fouled in the build up, I disagree, Song did very little and Lee went down very very easily. Arshavin broke, he had to hurdle a reckless lunge from Holden and played a one two with Chamakh, well after Chamakh had given the ball back to Arshavin, Cahill went through the back of Chamakh in a rather nasty two footed manner. It was a clear red card offence and the referee got this correct, there was not intent to play the ball and he went through with both legs straight in a manner designed to maim. Bolton surrounded the referee, who had to back off, Knight, Cahill, Robinson and Davies were all involved.
Control had gone out of the window. Next came the worst tackle of the game. Diaby was played through in the inside right position, Robinson could only beat him to the ball by sliding in recklessly with a straight leg over the top of the ball with his studs up (see above image from Arseblogger). Robinson's straight leg nailed Diaby in his mid shin area and he had to limp off shortly afterwards. This was an appalling tackle, a definite straight red card, and the referee didn't even give a free kick, he was poorly positioned and his linesman gave him no help at all. Maybe there is a case for asking the FA to review this one, Robinson is a particularly nasty player as we have seen in the past, he goes into tackles in a way that will reliably injure. After the third goal the aggression faded as Bolton knew they were dead and buried, although there was still time for Attwell to miss a clear penalty as Muamba chopped down Eboue from behind in the box.
It is always easy to analyse these things in retrospect and Stuart Attwell is only one of many referees who clearly lack a sufficient understanding of the game to be able to control it. However it is clear from reviewing the game that if discipline had been enforced more robustly from the off then we may well have had a much cleaner game and Abou Diaby may well have not been injured.
I listened to a bit of Radio 5 on the way home from the game yesterday and if ever there was a man who sums up what is wrong with the English game then it is Robbie Savage. He openly talked of how Mark Hughes had ordered his teams to deliberately aggressively foul superior opponents, he claimed that young players should be taught to pull shirts and trip opponents. Savage's game, minimal skill and technical ability combined with his persistent cheating and fouling, is a case study in what our inadequate refereeing allows to flourish in the English game. It is only a matter of time before another one of our players gets another shocking injury as a result of this, I just find it hard to understand how so many in our media and within the game can condone this kind of 'football'?
Read it if your interested, all the dangerous tackles bolton got away with.. if it was that twat mike riley no doubt bolton would have been down to like 9 men or less.

Fabregas now crossed it efficiently and Chamakh hung in the air, looked around, tucked in his shirt, slicked back his punk haircut and then just when everyone thought the moment had passed headed the ball in. Boy that guy can head them.
The bleating starts - not the turning point
There it was at 60 minutes the turning point. But I was wrong, when I watched match of the day I discovered the turning point was the sending off of Cahill on 64 minutes. Apparently if Cahill had not been sent off Bolton would have overcome Arsenal and won the game. Arsenal's 17 shots to Bolton's four counted for nothing, it was Bolton that were about to win.
The game remained scrappy mainly due to the poor refereeing, and Arsenal had worked hard to get to 2-1. Then on 78 minutes Song scored from an almost impossible angle. Three-one, and suddenly the sun shone on what had been a tedious match. This was Arsenal's 1,000 Premiership goal under Wenger and it was about to get better. The announcer had lost count because he left this milestone unremarked.
LOL!

Arsenal Manager Arsene Wenger Questions Jose Mourinho's Inter Champions League Triumph
Gunners boss says Inter were lucky to win competition last year...
Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has blasted Jose Mourinho ahead of the start of the Champions League group stages on Tuesday.
Mourinho was in charge of Italian side Inter as he guided them to the competition's final where they beat German side Bayern Munich to lift the trophy.
Wenger and Mourinho have a history of rivalry from the current Real Madrid coach's time at Chelsea, and the Arsenal boss believes that the 'Special One' was lucky to win the Champions League last season.
He feels that the Nerazzurri benefited from favourable decisions made by some referees throughout the competition, especially with the two decisions in the last 16 clash with Chelsea that went the way of Mourinho's side.
“Look at the teams who got to last year's final," Wenger told the Daily Mail.
“With normal refereeing neither of them would have been there. No Bayern, and no Inter.”
LOL!
So good, as Jose was insulting Arsenal before the season started saying we would do nothing this season, and we will struggle to be in europe next year..

Southampton have a wonderful ground with fantastic fans. They are only in League One because of the poor ownership and management which isn't the fans fault at all. Your correct, no club has a divine right but I would prefer the bigger clubs of English football to be in the Permier League other than smaller clubs such as Wigan who can't fill their stadium.

Anything with wenger in is good. look at what he said about the cahill challenge on Chamakh..
Arsene Wenger got into character beautifully too, in response to Cahill’s red card: “... it was a dark orange, maybe a light red.” Wenger is at his most likeable when he comes out with such glowing one-liners and it gave the feeling that things simply went according to plan this weekend.
