The media spurts the load of bollocks lie that "these decisions even themselves out." They don't. I'd love a media organisation to fully research this myth. The game changing decisions that united get in their favour year after year really needs to be looked at.

You can take it that United will deservedly be involved in the run-in for the championship most seasons, and it's the decisions they get in the last few games that decide the title. After the last result against Wigan, there would have been some nerves around, so what do they need? Someone touches young and they get a penalty.

Same against QPR, it's the game changers that they get year in, year out. The refs know it too. You watch they'll give united a goal, then give the opposition loads of meaningless free kicks around the half way line, as if to say "look, no bias".

Very inbteresting. Staggering number of bad decisions in the Stoke v Spurs game late last year. How can a ref get it that wrong so many times in one game?

You say, that but according to that website, they've been done out of 3 points this season. Maybe the decisions they get do come at vital points in the season but what separates them from the rest is the fact they're still consistently good when decisions aren't necessarily going their way.

But that website isn't providing definitive, argument ending information. It's opinion based, and I don't believe it incorporates all things. It's one thing getting a dodgy penalty or an offside goal against you when you're 2/3 up, but United get the big ones at 0-0 or 2-1 down etc. Those are the ones that affect points totals at the end of the season.

Yeah, I agree with that and there's nothing that can definitely prove how a game would have turned out had every decision been correct. I just think, generally, football fans are quick to kick up a fuss when a decision goes United's way and are happy to ignore it when things don't.

Nobody is saying that United get every decision, because they don't. But when they're struggling, they seem to get an extra helping held. Penalties that don't exist, loads of free kicks around the box from blatant dives, refereeing lenience etc.

Stoke 4th from Bottom in the 'real' table. Interesting but not surprising. Stoke maybe need to change their style of play and become a but more fluent. It would seem some refs cant handle the sheer number of decisions they have to make in their games.

Happy about that win, despite the penalty incident that was harsh on Villa. Ashley Young has got a right slating on Twitter by the United fans, not that it will make a difference but he needs to cut the theatrics out..

Slighest bit of contact there but teams that counter very quick on attacks e.g. Barcelona get quite a few penalties that way because the defender is drawn into the tackle to stop the opposition scoring.

Just interesting to see how different angles affect things, you can't always blame the referee, as many were quick to today. Not saying people on here, necessarily, just in general.

He's gotta make a quick decision, in the heat of the moment, purely based on what he thinks he's seen. I don't understand how people can argue against goal line technology. It wouldn't slow the game down at all, just implement it like they do in the NFL and give each manager three challenges. If he's wrong, he loses one, if he's right, he doesn't.

Feel sorry for Chelsea fans, to be honest. They got absolutely trashed.

Rubbish. They're a bunch of plastic-flag-waving classless chavs. They were 24 hours from going out of business before Roman turned up, and they think they have a right to dictate when teams play because they are in the CL.

Tough ****, there is no excuse for their behaviour.
