Is that the one with Harry potter in it Niamh? If so, it scared the bejesus out if me.. Very creepy!

..I don't think I appreciated that movie as much as I probably should have when I watched it..(the scary bits, I mean..)..because I'd heard so much about the stage production and how 'jumpy' that was, so I somehow expected to be a lot more creepy than it was..but actually there were quite a few creepy moments so I think it was probably an ok movie...I agree with your scoring as well....

Kick-Ass 2
was this directed by Ryan Murphy or something? Wildly OTT "love who you are!!!!! x" BS that's just absolutely no fun at all. The first was great because it had a sense of humour and wasn't serious. This just goes hard on the good vs. evil, superhero-overcoming-grief nonsense... very few funny moments, if any. There's toilet humour, a scene where the villain fails to get an erection when he's about to rape someone (lololoL!O!>!O!L!O!L!L!L!LLllL!LLLLLLLLll), and the dude from Scrubs. Yeah. not funny at all.

idk, I might have enjoyed it at the cinema by being distracted by all the noises and silly effects but at home... it just bored me, really. I liked the first one enough but there's not a terrible lot of story going on (ohay story of JJ Abrams' life). 5/10.

Wither (2012)
Ida and Albin are a happy couple. They set off to a cabin in the vast Swedish woodlands to have a fun holiday with their friends. But under the floorboards waits an evil from Sweden's dark past.
We this plot you maybe thinking its sounds a lot like Evil dead and most of the movie did remind me a lot of evil dead.
Two break away end up going under house to sneek off, as then lady sees some kind of creatures, soon he see her owns go back into her head.
Everything seem fine first, all having dinner, While girl is feeling lie, soon she takes turns into a infected person.
The man appears at door, hearing the noise. telling the story of how is wife and Daughter were killed by the same creature, who ever looks into eyes of the creature, the sole as been taken by them.
Soon it's speads around the cabin, this movie as so very gory moment (Not over the gory moments like Remake of Evil) Enough to please gore hounds and the creature did not look that bad , good make up effects, make them looks really creepy.
Very enjoyable movie, if you didn't like the remake of Evil Dead, Check this one out.
7 out of 10
Thanatomorphose (2012)
This movie is very slow, it's build tension for about hour, if we have two main cast, who walk around nake most of time in the movie, A lot of nuidty in this movie.
I have a lot sex but story is actually good, basically this girl he having as much sex as she can because she is rotting to death.
After the very slow start of the movie, later part of the movie, were thing get very odd and weird .
As girl is actually really rotting away and we see magots feeding on her on rotting body while she is still alive.
The last scene of the movie was really good, outstanding effects, I love when movies do these effect, there work really well.
Really good movie 7 out of 10

..oh yeah, I watched that a while ago, have you read anything about them..?...there is kind of a mixed feeling about whether they were actually 'heros' or 'villians'...if you get a chance, google the brothers and see what your opinion is...
..I do agree though Ceecee, it is an extremely moving and though-provoking story, which is why I read up on it after the movie to find out more about the real brothers and the views of the people at that time were completely deferring in many accounts....

Yeah I briefly read that people weren't unsure because of how they chose to obtain food to survive, sometimes killing, stealing and etc. The movie made it seems like the oldest leader wanted them to only target the rich but not the poor. Their ways of doing things may not have been ideal but they hardly had a choice. They managed to save 1,200 jews and that is excellent.

The Hunger Games: Catching Fire - 10/10
Wow, surpasses the first one by far - mainly due to better direction and no shaky cam - and the arena looked amazing on screen. I think the story of this book translated better to screen than the first as well. Oh and Jennifer Lawrence, Woody Harrelson, Philip Seymour Hoffman and Stanley Tucci are all perfect. As is Effie
:worship: It was perfect! can't wait to see it again 10/10 also

watched The Wolverine today.
I wasn't looking forward to it because, tbh, he's my least favourite character in the franchise and I find his whole "oh I can't die how awful" thing quite boring. But the film's rather entertaining and the action's often amazing. Would give it a 7/10 since it's not really brilliant or franchise-changing.

The Master.
It was excellent - particularly Philip Seymour Hoffman. Didn't love it, idk why - might be because it's not really a rewatchable film, but is quite faultless. 9/10.

Catching Fire (2013) - I liked it but felt it was tad rushed in parts and missed some parts out of the book. Still enjoyable - 4/5
3 Needles (2005) - Not great, basically 3 different short movies put into one with each story involving Aids/HIV. Too long and kinda boring at times, plus 50% was spoken in Chinese/French with no subtitles - 2/5
Jake.

The Dyatlov Pass Incident - 2.5/10
Urgh why did I even bother buying this, never mind watching it... it scores 2.5 for the first decent 40ish minutes, but all is swept away after when the plot just becomes ridiculous and it feels like you're watching a different film. Pretty dire.

The Lone Ranger (2013)

Johnny Depp was hilarious as usually, Helena Bonham Carter was her usual good self, I really enjoyed the humour and story, although there were some parts that were a bit slow, other than that it was well worth the watch. :D

Wolf Cabin (2010) - First Christmas Horror in My Horror Christmas advert calendar and not much to say. It was not very christmasey at all. The editing was all over the place, in one scene it was dark outside then suddenly it was mid-afternoon, then back to night time. It was a low budget film so I let it off for that and it was only 40 mins long. Still not great at all - 1/5

I been watching movies, that I have only seen once before and not seen for a really long time, I might need two post for these, there two first watch movies aswell
The People Under the Stairs (1991)
his was first watch, I never seen it before, I saw for £1 in shop, so I said what the hell it's £1, you go wrong with that.
I heard a lot people saying this was really good horror movie, I was really looking forward to it.
At the end of the movie , My words were, whoa that was one hell of a ride, one hell of crazy movie.
I was on edge of seat the whole time of the movie, I don't even think I took eyes of screen for second.
The movie flowed great nothing drag for to long, action scene didn't to long end and really enjoyed the movie came to end.
I found the movie really tense at times but one think that did annoy me, is the last scene of the movie.
All those people out side that house, never notice those strange looking people coming out the house. , That the only think that annoyed me in this movie.
The great was great, that boy sure could Fight!
I give this move 8 out of 10
Ils - Them (2006)
This was re-watch, I wasn't to keen on first time around, I think I did see Vacnacy before this and Eden lake both - with both of these movies were kind put together in way.
Again I felt the same with this movie, I thought it started of tense at first and the
it's stays on the same level for most of the movie, it never fully moves forward and I wasn't bored with it.
I thought it had noting to hold and I am not sure if were meant to shock and when it's revealed what was doing the stalking.
I wasn't shocked, I Know kids have been nasty but I do believe these think can happen, like some kids brought whole of UK to standstill few years back in riots, with a loss of two lives.
There were something missing in this movie, there was edge enough, the trailer seem a lot edge of seat kind of thing.
I thought the acting was really good not great and I do think some of subs were bit off, on what was playing on screen.
I going give this 5 out of 10,.
The Funhouse (1981)
The Funhouse (1981)
I did not remember much from this movie, I loved the start of the movie was ace, I loved how he mocked the start of Halloween and Psycho.
Really great fun start to the movie, it's the middle part of the movie, lets the movie down a bit, and it's takes a while for the movie to get going again.
i really liked the rest of the movie, I thought that Mask was very decent, I didn't find him that scary but noise he made, make him sound a lot scary.
I would have hope for bloody deaths as this was 80's Slasher, overall, the kills was litt
let down, I liked how the movie came to end, Decent movie but Uneven at times. . 7 out of 10
Clownhouse (1989)
I know that seen this movie before, I could not remember much about so gave it another, it's been Years since, I see it.
This sure felt like this movie was made for kids. it was like Goosebumps episode but not that good,
I just could not get into the movie, I did see the whole movie, I was bored most of the movie
I didn't find it creepy or scary at all and find those boys really annoying for most of the movie,
Someone scene were so stupid, a clown bangs his hair NOT his head on roof and knocked out cold, REALLY?
If you find Clowns scary, this might work for you but this didn't make me scared or even make me laugh.
Now I know why it's taking me this long to re-watch this movie
3 out of 10
The Burning (1981)
I did not know this movie was still banned in UK , I not sure why, It not much different of other slashers movies that came out the around the same times, Thanks to Youtube, I Could re-watch this movie.
I think I saw this movie before I seen any of the Friday 13th movies, I loved the start of the movie, it was great, young boys make prank and then Prank goes wrong and caretaker, horribly burned and years later,
As years goes past, the same kids are back in camp and so is the caretaker, who waits and stalk for most middle of the movie, meanwhile, get teens messing around and fun camp while they being stalked.
It was a lot fun and as movies, (I think the one on you tube is the cut version ,I did not find as gory as I did back then but for it times, it some very good decent bloody death that loved.
Near later of half the movie, it's kind of loose the edge feel that most of the movie that made some scenes really tense but I was keen on ending, try to rush the ending.
Acting was decent from the whole 8 out of 10 Fun slasher movie.
Intruder (1989)
It's been really long time since, I seen this once, some of gore moment still stuck wit for years after the movie.
The movie start of not great, really odd badly done fight scene, the fight scene was bad ,it funny and dose make sure of the movie look a little outdated now.
Sooner then later, people are being killed by someone in the shop and the kills are best thing about this movie,
I loved all the great awesome gory death scenes in this movie, very gory and do not eat while watching this.
I did forget about the twist the movie, which was really well done, I don't think I have ever been shocked by same movie twice.
Was just me, when one boys being dragged by the killer, screaming and acting like girl are far to funny to take serious, he sure had one the most gruesome kills in this movie.
Great gory deaths in this movie and the movie flowed fell but some of it done seem a little out dated now!
The acting was really good and some of bad acting is actually funny, so make movie even more enjoyable.
7 out of 10
Bad Taste (1987)
This was another re-watch and I only seen once before, that was about 6 years ago.
I didn't remember much about it, I thought there was very good decent gory moment in this movie, which I thought really good, for is first movie.
The effect were really good, very decent and fum to watch, I did think that the movie would have been more funny, then it was. I did laugh a few times.
Some of the other stuff. I Just felt it was silly and not funny. It dose seem a little outdated.
It's as not aged well at all, the acting, Well it's not great but it not bad, let's just it's suits the ,movie
5 out of 10
They Live (1988)
I have only seen this movie once before as well,
I remember I wasn't to keen on it's back then.
I thought it was lot more better the second time around, I loved the plot the movie, I thought it was great , the pacing from the movie was really good.
It did not get boring at all and there some decent effects in this movie but I find a lot more funny then bad taste, I saw the night before
I loved the ending of this movie was very good and very clever and one best and funniest fight scene ever. The acting was really good in this movie
7 out of 10

> Flight of the Living Dead: Outbreak on a Plane (2007)
Or Plane Dead , They should have kept that as the title.
I saw this when first came out online, back then it was called Plane Dead, I have not seen it since then,
I thought the movie started of little slow first, the action dose really kick off until after 45 min mark, but before 30 min , you do get the infected person.
The Infected/Zombies make up effect were, not great, that looked bit odd, I wasn't to keen on yellow eyes, other then that didn't really look scary, some one just look funny not in a good way.
There are really good funny moment in this movie as some very good bloody moment as well, there a lot action in third act of the movie and none stop until the very ended.
The acting it was not great but it's more then watch-able, I did not like how the movie ended at all. I really do hate those fake last scarce scenes, saw it's coming but it no were near as the worst zombie out there, it's just average zombie.
Silly and fun zombie not as fun as your first watch 5 out of 10 second watch
All the Boys Love Mandy Lane (2006)
1st watch
This plots sound a decent, it taken me years to see this cause,
I heard nothing bad comments, I saw for 75p, So what the hell.
This started off like any normal slasher movie but then after first kill, that well movie suck so low, that could not get back up.
I found this to be one of most dullest slasher movies, seen, there was not tension, there deaths were all the same and very boring.
The main twist I did not get all, I didn't get it at all then try pick up right at end of the movie with few turns
The acting was decent but most of then annoy the hell out of you.
3 out of 10 really poor
Dolly Dearest (1991)
And I Just re-watch Dolly Dearest 1991
I had only seen it once before, it thought i liked but I could remember how it's ended,
I liked how the plot started and the movie made some tense moments, I loved Mirror scenes, where get to see doll standing and again she was gone.
The doll it's self was very creepy and I thought kill scenes were really well done, it still work these days .
But felt some of script was bit weak in some parts of the movie, made it's feel a bit outdated and I found the ending a little rushed.
I would not mind if this movie gets remake but it's not of best killer doll movies, well it was not as fun as Chucky or even The Dolls, were fun watch, I didn't really find this movie that fun
The acting was decent. 6 out of 10

ATM (2012) - Basically Frozen but in a ATM booth. It was okay, but the characters were incredible stupid and dont understand the ending which was **** anyway. - 2/5
Necrosis (2009) - Kinda like The Shining but with a group of friends. Very boring and the acting was the only scary part of the film. 1/5
I, Madman (1989) - Actually not bad horror film about a woman who reads a horror book about a serial killer but then the people around her are dying the same way as in the book. Of course she tells the police but they dont listen thinking she's crazy. 3/5
Chernobyl Diaries (2012) - Thought it was okay and got much better in the last twenty mins and felt like the horror film the descent. 3/5
Elves (1989) - I have no idea what the **** was going on in this film? Something about Nazis creating elves/goblins to take over the world but first they need to have sex with a virgin girl whos grandfather is her father? Supposed to be scary but more funny then anything. Its actually funny so 2/5

Empire state - 2013 - 7/10 i could be snobby and give it 6 though lol

Gravity. Visually great and captivating 9/10
...I think I watched it too cynically though, all the time I was like ''that would never happen'', like how she floats off into space but he somehow finds her, and how she used that fire extinguisher as a propel, and just generally how she managed to avoid all the debris/her shuttle not blowing up on impact..the amount of luck she got generally
and how it ended was a bit annoying, how on earth she could be relieved when it looked like she had landed in the middle of nowhere with no real chance of ever being found, would have maybe liked that to have gone on a bit longer
but it's one of those films you have to see and especially in 3d, probably the only real movie that justifies it

Only seen once before and I really enjoyed back then, Its been really long time since i seen it and I gave it another re-watch.
I love the plot the movie , it started of really well, I really enjoyed the effect of Car scene and Little acted really well in the movie.
I did have some part of little slow in the middle of the movie but dose not last long as it's picks up again
I loved the crazy scenes in the movie, when end up being from one place to another, I did jump in one scene.
I loved the ending of the movie, yeah it might seem a bit predicable but it work well with the rest of the movie.
It's odd that some sites say Premonition (2007) Is a remake of this, Which is NOT! , both movies are Very diffrent and don't even have the same plot,

V/H/S (2012) - A horror anthology movie, which had some good short films and some boring ones too. The first and the last one were the most interesting stories of the five as they had a build up of tension. The second story was the most boring of the five, and three and four had potentials to be good but they were too rushed. Overall not a bad horror film, but not for the faint hearted; for some reason a common theme of the short stories was cutting someone open and removing their organs. - 3/5

Really brilliant film though, Ben Affleck was amazing in the lead role and there are a lot of really good actors in the supporting roles like Kyle Chandler and Bryan Cranston

Despicable Me 2. Loved it... 9/10
We watched We're The Millers on Christmas day... it was actually really funny, at first I was like I can't believe we're watching a bloody Jennifer Aniston film but she was playing against type (sort of... it still had a mushy happy ending) and there were quite a few laugh out loud moments. 8/10 for entertainment value. Quality wise, it was a 5/10 standard Hollywood ~wacky adventure film with a mediocre cast~ (Jason Sudeikis, Jennifer Aniston, Emma Roberts and Will Poulter).

The lighting is kinda poorly done, some of the acting is so-so but once you get used to that, the story is entertaining 5/10

I don't know what the guy with the skeletal tattoo on him is on the poster, he's only in the film for about 10 seconds. Anyway the movie is ok, it felt like it was lacking though 6/10

I think the last film I watched from beginning to end was "Adventureland".

It's set in 1986. I went to the States and worked in a funpark just like in the film in 1984.
..Cast Away...9/10.....
..Abduction, Superbad..both of them were ok-ish...5/10...

Life of Pi - 7.5/10
I thought the start was really weird.. All the stuff about how he got named Pi and pissing himself and stuff, didn't fit with the rest of the story at all. But other than that it was really good. I want a pet orangutan and tiger now too.
Prometheus - 7/10
I'm not really into aliens and such things but I wanted to watch this because Idris Elba is in it. Was actually really good. The bit with her having an alien inside her was a bit horrible like.
Zero Dark Thirty - 6.8/10
The last hour was perfect, the first hour and a half very average.

American Hustle - 7/10
Kind of hard to rate it really. All the performances are amazing, it has loads of funny moments, there is a really good surprise cameo, a good twist, etc.. but the storyline just doesn't really feel all that interesting. Also a bit frustrating that Bale and Cooper gave the two best performances but it is Jennifer Lawrence getting all the praise AGAIN (Cooper >>> her in Silver Linings too).
you need to watch Empire Of The Sun if you like Bale films

Just got back from seeing Frozen in the cinemas - before you judge me know that I live in a ****kicker hick town and the only theater in driving distance only plays 3 films - and I was disappointed to find that once again the princesses were thin, straight, and beautiful. Time for some fat ugly dykes for princesses, it's nearly 2014 people.

J-Law is absurdly overrated, it's ridiculous that Silver Linings was deemed an oscar-winning performance.

127 Hours and Pineapple express okay but they're still not huge...

..yeah, it was worse than that, I was trying to be generous..it was really dire and probably a 1 to 2 out of 10 or not even rateable...well James France is rateable but not the movie...what was he thinking...
..I have no idea who James France is and I can't be bothered to change it...

Just really poor. It had a couple of scenes that were excellent (the final scene and Ray Liotta getting beat up), and most of the acting performances were good, but everything else was pretty ****.

10/10 performance from Denzel. Always thought it was based on a true story but after checking once I'd watched I saw it wasn't, which kinda made sense after the cocaine scene near the end. Excellent film though.
