I refuse to watch it out of principle, it's offensive to the book that that was it being "turned into a film" - all they have in common is a title! I think I'd want to watch it if it was called something else but the book's one of my all time favourites, angers me that it turned out to be a Brad Pitt vanity project

Paranormal Activity: The Marked Ones

Suprising pretty good. Provided enough jumps (some points I literally couldn't look at the screen) and the ending was genuienly shocking, you really don't expect it.

Deuce Bigalow: Male Gigolow - 1/10

Easily in the worst 5 films I have ever seen.. isn't funny at all and is just crap.

Empire of the Sun - 7.5/10

I have seen about 90% of Bale's adult films but this is the first one I've seen of him as a kid, was quite different to what I was expecting and him and John Malkovich were great in it. Didn't even recognize Ben Stiller either until I was reading about it online after I'd watched

The Wolf of Wall Street - 8.5/10

I know it's getting some criticism for glamorizing the lifestyle of Belfort and his friends but I thought it done the exact opposite. Leo was brilliant in the role but you (or I, at least) dislike him after the opening 45 minutes or so. There's a lot of sex and nudity but I don't think it's so bad that there should be a big a fuss about it like there has been.. I doubt it would be happening if it was someone lesser known in the lead role. But anyway yeah, brilliant film. Leo's best performance to date and Kyle Chandler and Matthew McConaughey were really good in their smaller but important roles. A lot of GIPs and one of the funniest scenes I've ever seen in a serious film aswell (the whole cerebral palsy part)

It got the balance perfectly aswell. The first hour and a half is all about the highs of his success and then just as you think it needs something to move it along a little Kyle Chandler's character pops up and takes the film in a completely different direction for the next hour and a half

Oh also I went and saw Last Vegas in the cinema and that was a 10/10 as well - funny and emotionally hard hitting in all the right places; stellar cast and it managed to be convincing in both a film about friendship, having a late life crisis and dealing with getting old. Really couldn't recommend it more, Michael Douglas, Robert DeNiro, Morgan Freeman and Kevin Kline are all on top form in this film.

Tonight I watched Insidious 2 which was quite good, Rose Bynes was amazing but it didn't scare me once. Then I watched Big Ass Spider! that was pretty bad but it had Glory out of Buffy in it so I bared with it.

Can't wait for You're Next!

See No Evil - Only watched it because they have a sequel out soon with Danielle Harris and katharine isabelle (); it was okay, nothing special. Felt there was hardly any character development and the main characters were not interesting enough, while the ones killed off were. 3/5

V/H/S/2 - A really good sequel that surpasses the first film. The short movies were all enjoyable, but mainly the story "Safe Haven" was really disturbing and had a rosemary's baby/silent hill vibe to it. - 4/5

Really funny movie.. Will Poulter made this great.. Although Will who plays the son Kenny is from England he puts on a great American accent and he's involved in the best and most entertaining parts of the movie. Jennifer Aniston still looks 10/10 and was great in it too.

I felt the Alien one was too rushed, they spent so much time on the cult story. Although it was sad when the dog died :(

And your last comment is an insult to the antichrist beast. Btw when he was killing the last guy, did he call him father? The birth mother did say she was pregnant with his child so it would make sense the beast calling him dad, but very disturbing.

Out of the Furnace - 6/10

Brilliant performances from Christian Bale, Woody Harrelson, and Casey Affleck, but the writing didn't seem to be all there for me. There was definitely something missing I'm just not sure what it was. The storyline was good but parts of it could have been cut and other parts expanded on. And considering the main thing the summary of the movie is about doesn't happen until about an hour into the film, they really should change it because it's just a massive spoiler. It just ends up being a good movie with brilliant performances all around, when it could have been a really great movie.

I got see a lot of movies this week

Vampires (1998)

This is another re-watch, I had not seen for years and I brought early last night, still have got around to it until now.

This movie dose not take long at all , it goes straight into the vamps actions in first 5 to 10 mins

and I liked how the vamp were killed in this movie.

and I did not expect this movie to be as gory as it was, the party scenes in the movie, blood and guts were flying all over the place and the vampires them were decent and kind of creepy at times.

The acting was great from cast, as well effects and make up effects were really well done.

Movie was a lot of fun

7 out of 10

Ginger Snaps Back: The Beginning (2004)

I really enjoyed other 2 in series, I had this few years, I tried to watch few times, could never really get into.

So yesterday , I deiced to watch in full for once and I still find it really hard to get into movie,

I wasn't bored with movie, i was watching it but I was not liked what I was seeing.,

There were some decent bloody and gory moments in this movie, it liked and I the werewolf looked in the movies, some decent effects.

I didn't enjoyed this ginger snap 3 as much as the other too.

5 out of 10

Feast (2005)

This was another re-watch and it second re-watch as well,

This movie didn't take long to start all, I liked as introducer everyone one by one and start of the movie,

So you know who they are before the actions start, which dose not take to long. at all,

The actions starts , it never really stops, there were very gory and some really gross out scenes that really enjoyed in this movie.

There were a lot of dark humour however I think it should of it been more funner and some scene felt to dark at times.

The creatures was really well, funny and enough you make jump when you seen it.

Also I did not like in some action scenes were the cameraman was moving far too fast in some scenes, I could not make out what was going on.

Acting great from the whole cast and I going to give this movie 7 out of 10

Demons 1985

This was another re-watch, I seen few times now, everytime I see this one, always seem to re-watch second back to back.

This movie builds some tension at the start of the movie, which gives a not pf a mystery feel to the movie.

I liked how the plot started with the mask that cuts on the face, which later in the movie they seeing, bring evil force out of the screen and into the threater

The tranformations was out standing, I loved, it's creepy and very gory at the same times, the efffect were amazing as were the make up effects.

They did look scary at times and I loved the fact you may not know who will turn next as I jumped twice having no idea who as turned into demond.

Also loved the last scene in the movie, normal I can't stand those scace scenes in the movie. this movie knew how to use it and it worked it.

Great movie 8 out of 10

Demons 2 (1986)

This movie did take while to get going, there are far to many subs plots in this movie, they forcussed on to many other things in first 20 mins of the movie.

That where the thing start to really happen, it mabye little over the plot and silly times, which I wish exaplained what that happens.

I did enjoyed second part of the movie bit more then first half, I enjoyed of tranfromations was decent but not as good as first.

I didn't feel find that gory, no were near as gory as the first and some effects looks a bit off in this movie however there were some decent effects here and there.

The acting was not all that great, I just found that fighting scenes with demons just silly not even funny.

5 out of 10

American Mary (2012)

I Heard moslty good things about this movie,

I did found that the movie was very slow movie for first hour so, I was getting a bit bored and
I wasn't really into the movie at all.

However I did enjoyed the second part of the movie more

There were some decent bloodly moments , nothing we not really seen before in others movies
like this

I say it was okay horror movie, nothing really stood out of him, I was little dissaponinted with this movie, It's did have some kind hype around it.

5 out of 10

Back Re-watchs

Wolf creek (2005)

With the sequel coming out soon, I didn't know it was going come out in
four weeks time, so I thought it time to re-watch wolf creek.

I remember when I first saw this movie, that wasn't to keen on it, as
times as gone pass, I think this movie as grown on me a lot the more
times time i watch, I seem to like it more

I liked first half of the movie takes time to get to know they them
with there fun , party before we get tortured.

After the party they drive to hell there some great tense moment in
this movie, which leads to edgeness.

There were gory and nasty moment in this movie, that make people cringe

Great acting from the whole cast

7 out of 10

Alien

Yet another re-watch,

I have seen movie few times now, I not big fan of this movie, (Decent movie, I dont
think it one of greatet movies)

Well the movie start of little tense first but, it takes for anything to really kick and I first part of the movie little.

You might say the wait it worth as Famour Alien stomach scenes, which one of best scenes in this series and of course one best horror/sc-fi scenes moments.

The Alien it self was really well made, it was look great and very scary with those teeth.

There were decent twist and turns in the movie, Which I really enjoyed

I going to give this movie 7 out of 10

Aliens

What best movie to watch after Aliens, As I was still in Alien moved, I had this background, while bulding work was happing next door, drilling and hamming it's really hard to staty forcured in the movie.

As I was partly watching movie, I have seen this few times before, Last time I sure I found it better then first however, Still time found first to be more fun then this movie.

This movie also takes some times to getting but when it getting gong it actions never stops
and I find Aliens looked bit diffrent in this movie. not in bad, it didn't look as scary as first movie.

Welll still did look scary but decent effect however the ending was really predicable,

Acting was great in this movie.

Again a perfectly decent action film with comedy elements, as long as you overlook a pretty clichéd script and generic bad guys. Channing Tatum and Jamie Foxx have pretty good chemistry, even if its completely unrealistic a President would ever have to fire a rocket launcher himself. Pretty ridiculous but enjoyable enough. Better than Olympus anyway :)

Cabin by the Lake (2000) (TV)

Not bad for a tv movies, had decent plot , I found some -what entertaninging ,

I didn't find boring at all, it didn't really drag on it's flowed really well

As this was tv movie, there wasn't any blood what so -ever in this movie but it's more about killer drowing his victims.

The killer was creepy in one or two scene, some of under water were tad tense at times,

This movie kind of gave me the stepfather vide.

The ending for sure reminded me of the stepfather movies and acting was really good for a tv movie.

6 out of 10

Alien³ (1992) (I think this re-watch) I know seen some parts of the movie, I could not remember much of the movie.

I thought it first decent movie, I don't think it great as it is made out to be, Aliens was okay sequel, re-watch it last it, I didn't enjoy it as much as the last time i watched it.

Aliens, If you watch back to back, Soon as Alien 3 start its already lost some fans, it's dose not make sense after second Alien movie.

The plot was silly , , I could care about any of people in this movie, I actually the Alien killed them of sooner, they were pain in the beep!

The movie drags for far to long and when Aliens scenes are far to apart in this movie
and even Alien scenes, it look a lot diffrent in this movie then first two, it's didn't as scary or creepy either.

The deaths in scenes made me laugh out loud, there was so bad, bloodly but I still found it funny, I don't much remember much blood of first two movies.

Some of the effcts in this movie was really badly done as well, the acting was okay in movie, I could really care less for one in this movie, I was rooting for Alien.

I was to keen on this movie ended, it was bit of cop out

2 out of 10, Worse in the series for sure!

Alien: Resurrection (1997) I don't know long on this DVD, I got the whole 4 box set on dvd but I never actually saw this before.

I did hear nothing but bad comments on this movie, saying was even worse then 3rd, So maybe that why never actually sat down to watch.

I was actually really surpired with this movie, I found to very entertaining from start to end.

This movie really didn't take to long to get, the first two took some times and 3rd one to forever to get started.

I found the plot a bit more intrureding and like how the movie flowed, there were a lot more Alien actions in scenes.

There some decent gory moments in this movie, which i really liked and liked how plot came to end.

I found the people in this more likeable and yet I still felt sorry for Alien too

6 out of 10, I rated this as same the second!

Love this film and the story of Rubin Carter is really interesting, I need to read his book sometime this year. Denzel is amazing in the role aswell, possibly his best performance.

Escape Plan - 6/10

Stallone and Caviezel were really good in their roles, and 50 Cent aswell :joker: I didn't even recognize it was him at first. Arnie and Vinnie Jones speaking with the same accent and playing the same character in every movie they are in is a bit annoying, but oh well, really good film other than that.

Don Jon - 5/10

Bit of a letdown, it was decent but I expected to like it a lot more. Actually surprised it got so much promotion because of the content of it.

Mommy (1995)

This sounded bit like the stepfather movies but much lower buget, which dose effect some parts of the movie.

I found plot so-what intrusting but I found to be bit bland, it started off not bad but the movie never really picked up

I don't think acting helped as I found everyone to be really wooden in this movie and other think that didn't is the fact some of the scenes in this movie were so dark, you could not make what the hell was going on.

There was one think I did like, was one of death scenes with i thought was decent for this movie and another thing was that the ending was far to rushed

So good that I might even rewatch it today, the best war film I've seen for ages. I know 2013 was a really strong year for films but this really does deserve to be nominated for more awards than just sound mixing. All 4 leads do a great job, especially Taylor Kitsch and Ben Foster.

Last Vegas - 5.5/10

Done a good job of mixing the comedy elements in with drama and had a few really funny scenes. A decent comedy.

Bad Milo (2013) - Thought it would be like a Frank Henenlotter sorta film so thought I give it a go, plus Gillian Jacobs is in it. It was okay, not the greatest but okay for kinda what the **** is going on movie - 3/5

Saturday Morning Mystery (2012) - 2 women, 2 men and their dog who are paranormal investigators looking for ghosts are sent to a haunted house to investigate... as you can tell it is basically Scooby Doo if it was a horror movie. Slow movie to start but the last half hour is better with some good killings, but overall same old predicable horror cliches. 2/5

Attack of the Killer Tomatoes! (1978) (As this is a Horror PG movie)

This plot as got to be one of the most silly and so ridiculous and yet, the movie still works!

As this was one hell of a fun movie to watch, I actually could not stop laughing with this movie.

From the acting, to the tomatoes moving by them selves and killing people too but I could have done without the singing and dancing scenes, that was far too silly even for this silly movie.

The ending could have be better as I wanted the Tomatoes to fight back but they just took it staying still, they could have made some of the tomatoes jump on people faces or something.

Fun movie 6 out of 10

Return of the Killer Tomatoes! (1988)
I don't think this any were near as fun or as funny as first movie.

I found it's take a while for anything to really happen, I was not laughing at this movie as much as I though I would.

This movie did have a bigger budget and the acting is better in this sequel was better but down side to this movie was there was no tomatoes that actually killed people in this movie,

Was that why the first movie was so much more fun? , I didn't mind the plot, tomatoes turning into people sounded ok.

The other thing that really annoyed me was that when same person keeps falling down, funny first few times, it happens every times the person on screen, you just milked it dry and it not funny at all.

4 out of 10 for this movie, first was fun, this one I found some-what boring as there not much tomatoes action.

Cate Blanchett deserves the Oscar, hands down. I generally love everything Woody Allen does lately, and the film's really captivating, frustrating, engaging... I couldn't help but feel that the way her sister's ex-husband makes an appearance later on was a little bit contrived, though. Enjoyed the film a lot, though. 9/10.

Harry Brown - If there are places like that then wow :/ I live in a bubble. Good film, not my cup of tea but still.... 8/10

12 Years A Slave - Really really good, and really emotional as expected. The only thing being that there's a lack of 'twists' if you know what I mean, he becomes a slave, is a slave, then just like that after he gets Brad Pitt to write him a letter he's freed, I don't know how to explain it but I get what I mean lol, but you can't help that when it's based on a true story. It just seems to..end. I've also seen people say the graphic parts were unnecessary but you don't get a full feel for what they went through if you don't get those parts. and the long pauses of nothingness like he was standing their hanging from the rope I feel were also needed for you to think, I didn't think they were pointless

and Ejiofor needs to win best actor at the Oscars

My Soul to Take (2010).

This as been on my watch list for some time, I kept pushing it back with all the bad comments and reviews I saw.

So finally gave it a go last night!

I thought the start of the movie was really good, I really enjoyed that part of the movie, it was bit confusing at the start, but that what made it more fun to me.

For me that was the best part of the movie, I didn't think the rest of the movie was as good as that but I didn't find the movie boring at all.

I thought it flowed really well at times, I don't think drag on at all. and found the death to bit boring at times, some blood moment but nothing gory.

I didn't find anything scary or creepy in this movie, , I wasn't fan of the ending at all

As I expected to be a really bad movie, that may have help it, not being so let down by it, I didn't think was as bad some comments made out to be

It was one of weakest movie from Wes Craven who brought you Elm street and Scream movies.

This movie was perfect for me , as these are my kind of movies, this movie had me laughing so much, I can not remember last time laughed some much at a movie.

Milo was not that bad looking, it did look scary enough and in someway it looked kind cute as the same time.

There were decent bloodly moment in this movie, which I thought were really fun not too gory.

Soon as the Dad was on screen, I kind of knew were they were they going go with that, the fight scene was awesome, I was almost on floor laughing my head off.

I saw the ending coming, I loved there be a sequel and the acting was pefect!

im gonna be watching that sooner than later. hope i like it. i watched an interview with Jared Leto saying its been five years since his last acting role before this. even though the one before came out in 2009 it was done filming in 2007. i didnt even realize he was gone for that long.

anyways last movie i saw was Gravity. i thought it was a solid flick but i didnt think it was as good as the 10 Oscar nods or how the critics praised it. nothing i care to see again tbh. i thought the acting wasnt all that great but not that bad either. the effects were good for the most part except a few wonky moments but no biggie and i got what the film was more than just the catastrophe in space. i was glad it was only 90 minutes cause this wasnt one of those serious movies that needed 2/2+ hours like many serious big scale ones have.

heavy-handed tedium. It's almost like everyone cast (and it is a massive, A-list cast for no good reason) is just scrambling over each other to just try and be inspirational or moving

The first movie was not too bad, it grew on me over time, I was not big fan of the sequel

This one, first if see the plot it bit of lie, as there is not cruise ship in the movie, it just bunch of teens on a boat!

This movie as two stories going one, first about scientific who on another boat , who seem they got man they believe to have flesh easting virus.

The other story is a bunch of teens looking for time by get drunk, stoned or laid .

I don't think this movie was as good as first movie but it a lot more darker tone then the second movie.

This movie was not to bad as it had decent gory moments which I really liked but I did found parts to be little dull.

there acting were was okay times but I just didn't care about the, I Just they were all bit dull.

I give a 5 out of 10 just for some gory moments!

Melancholia: altogether an excellent film, with a great understanding of mental illness. Kirsten Dunst has an almost flawless portrayal of depression (although the onset is a little sudden, but artistic license there) though I believe she has genuinely suffered with it. The other sister's panic over Melancholia is a metaphor for generalised anxiety and again paints the picture exceptionally well. Plus it has Jack Bauer in it which is automatic plus points. 8/10

Wolf of Wall Street: a good film though it drags slightly towards the end and yet, paradoxically, his transition at the end feels rushed. Well acted and very memorable otherwise. And "the cerebral palsy phase" absolutely cracked me up... 7/10

Transformers (the first one): rewatched for the millionth time on Valentines Day, it's the first film me and my other half saw together :joker:. I actually think it's a great film for what it is, it gets the blend of blockbuster scenes and more "grounded" relationship scenes pretty much perfect. Pity the sequels missed that balance completely. BUMBLE-BEEEEEEEE!!!/10

Oh, also "her", which is a good film and the acting is good... However... It reminded me quite a lot of the similarly themed (but less mainstream) "Ruby Sparks" which I personally think nailed relationships / loneliness / breakups where Her slightly missed the mark as it was distracted by a couple of other themes. The acting in Ruby Sparks wasn't as high quality and yet, I enjoyed the film more and found it more thought provoking... which makes me wonder where "Her" was lacking. That considered, I give "her" 7/10. (Ruby Sparks is well worth a watch, by the way).

The Ambassador - Documentary made by Mads Brugger (A Danish journalist/film maker) who tries to set himself up in Liberia as a diplomat, to obtain diplomatic immunity and enable him to show the business side of the blood diamond trade. I thought it was really good, and a definite watch.

The Red Chapel - another Mads Brugger documentary. He contacts North Korea, and gets permission to perfom a show over there with 2 danish/Korean comedians (one of whom has cerebal palsy and calls himself a danish spastic). Another definite watch.

Kumare - a 24 yr old American/Indian (not native American), called Vikram became disillusioned with the Guru industry after trying out different people in India and America, so he set out to show people it was all a load of lies by acting out the role of Kumare, a mystical Guru from India, and taking it to some of the more new-age parts of the states.

It's actually a really lovely film to watch, and isn't mocking or condescending, but really sincere. A definite watch.

Dracula the Prince of Darkness. Yet another - less imaginative - take on the Dracula story. It was okay... Jon Voigt plays Van Helsing. I truly didn't recognise him and was quite surprised when the credits rolled. It was spoiled in part by the whiny, overacting, five foot, 100lb fifteen year old girl in armour, defeating 200lb seasoned warriors. Stupid, but I kind of enjoyed it mainly because I like vampires. 6/10

The Bad Seed (1956) First watch

This must of be really scary back in 50's but some-how is still works
today.

Even of the start of the movie, you can tell, she a brat from hell,
thing annoy her fast and think don't go to her plan You better run ,
your be her next Victim.

Loved the movie, I thought some part of the movie drag in place, it
could have been a lot more shorter then was.

The movie start of little slow for first half hour-ish, of movie, soon
picks up again, then there some scenes that drag for bit to long, in
some parts of the movie I was little bored at tines

I really enjoyed the second part of the movie, a lot more going on,

actor really get into the role, mother and Daughter both outstanding.
Liked the way the movie ended

The Brood (1979)

I have actually seen this once before, years ago, As it didn't really make impact on me that much, maybe I was to young to understand what happening on the screen,

The movie dose not take to long to getting, I found the movie flow really well from the start to end.

There some great suspense moments before first death of the movie but after that, suspense dies down a bit.

The death were really good, I thought they kind of brutal for the time and I really the last part of the movie.

The last few scenes of the movie was great, the licking baby scenes was gross and nasty and very crazy, loved it, it's was like scene from one your own nightmares,

The acting was great from the whole cast,

The Great Happiness Space - Another great documentary. It's about the male club hosts in Japan, and the women that use their bars, and pay for the privilege of having male company. It turns out most of the women who use these bars are actually prostitutes, who save the money they earn from being treated like sex objects, and pay for men to treat them like normal women. It'd probably be cheaper for them to develop crack addictions like western prostitutes.

Really compelling viewing though.

my favorite documentary is called "Sound and Fury"

it's about deaf people getting cochlear implants...it's interesting, cause it made me think about if there was a cure for being gay, would i get it. the deaf have their own community, and they don;t think there's anything wrong with being deaf, it's just how some people are. Many in the deaf community think it's wrong to make deaf children be hearing... that it's changing who they are, and that there's nothing wrong with being deaf. i found it very interesting.

12 Years a Slave - 6/10

Obviously not a popular opinion, but I found it completely underwhelming. For the little amount of screentime she had, Lupita Nyong'o was superb and probably the best thing about the film. Aside from that, I found Ejiofor's performance emotionally detatched for the most part and as a result I didn't feel that much sympathy for his character, not that he was particularly likeable anyway. The plot seemed disjointed and relatively boring as well.

The Wolf of Wall Street and American Hustle were far more deserving of the accolades imo, but it's typical of the Academy to overlook them :bored:

What crazy movie, the movie start of with lady who naked walking rain, her back as just been skinned off, then she get hit by bus that crash and blows up.

Then police are investigation that body at morgue and find out that there finger in side her, she she bit of the attack shallowed!

That was just first 4 minutes of the movie , the action backed for the first hour so, fast moving,

it gets little slower just after hour into movie but it dose not last long, as pick up speed again for last 20 minutes.

I did not get the ending at all, I wish it was bit was clear.

Really good movie and great acting in the movie.

AVP: Alien vs. Predator (2004)

I can't not believe this movie is already 10 Years old,

The last night was the first I saw it in full for the first time.

I did think it took while for the movie to get going, I was bored with
first half hour but I just could not care for those people.

All I was waiting for was Alien VS Predator , I really enjoyed the
fight scenes with these Aliens

I Thought it was decent battle. it was not to long and wasn't to short
and over in seconds.

Think about this VS movies that you always feel that one monsters are
better or feel less evil then there pass movie.

I don't like the Predator felt more of goody in this movie, even Alien
saved her in early part of the movie.

I thought Alien was great in this movie, I actually felt sorry for most
of the Aliens but I did not find it as fun as Freddy VS Jason, which
was lots of more fun.

I wasn't to keen on the back story of movie, those scene was way over
the top and looked really bad and silly. thankfully those scenes were
no any more longer.

I thought it was decent but it could have been much better then it was.

(You know who side I am on) Alien all the way!

The acting was okay in this movie from the cast but I found everyone to
be little annoying, I wasn't big fan of final girl, I was hoping for

Sadako 3D 2 (2013)

I was not really looking forward to this movie at all, As I hated Sadako 3D (2012). it was the one of worst Ring movies ever, so bad, it was not scary or creepy nothing but cheesy!

Thankfully this sequel was nothing like first movie, I really enjoyed the start of the movie, opening scene actually made me jump little.

Fuko Ando who is 24 years old is. She is told to take care of her 4-year-old niece.

Then strange think start to happen around niece, anyone that upset her or she looks at anyone with the stare, they end up dead as each death scenes it looks like suicide.

First death was really well done and looked really nasty but not gory, some of other death scenes seem a little silly.

Fuko Ando seen the drawing that her niece as done and then start to get scared of her. as they drawing all seem to be coming true.

Fuko is also having trouble with her own pass and she keeps getting nightmares of her mother suicide ,when she a little girl and she blames her self for that.

I loved Train scenes, that one of hell of crazy scenes, loved every second that scene.

Fuko soon discovers what Akane as been hiding form her for last 5 years and she is shocked.

There are few surprises here and there, to give little shock, Which dose work, I loved
it, decent plot.

So much better then first movie, better story, not over of the top with the 3D effects, Not at all chesses liked the first movie.

I found part of the movie little creep at times but all the time, it felt more of drama near the end of the movie but one think that annoyed me, there were far to many dream scenes.

The acting was very decent, the effect were really good!

The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey - 6/10

So far away in quality from the Lord of the Rings films but still enjoyable enough. Think the thing it is lacking mostly is a good villain. Outside of Bilbo, Gandalf, and Thorin you don't really get any character development for the other characters either, when I thought that was one of the things that made LOTR so good.. By the end of the first movie you already knew a lot about all the main characters and cared about whether they died or not.

The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug - 7/10

Better than the first installment, the dragon in Dragonheart is much better than Smaug though. And I know they're not in the book but I thought the Legolas and Tauriel subplot was the most entertaining part of the film. Was quite good getting an insight into Sauron making his comeback too.

Outlander - 6/10

I only heard of this movie, seconds before I watched it, I had no idea what the plot of the movie was and I did not see the trailer.

I really enjoyed, it dose really make you want to jump or anything but he dose want to creep the YOU! out, there also some bloody moment in this movie. which I also really enjoyed.

In some scenes its actually tell you not to watch the rest of the movie, so evil force in the movie won't find YOU!. (Oh no, I just broke the rule of the movie :/)

Lucky (2004)

I have no idea what to say about this movie, I saw two night ago, I still can't find words to tell how it felt.

Well the movie was very low budget movie and very strange with all the flashing and thinking scenes from killing and the scenes repeating them self.

There were some decent funny moments in this movie, which made me laugh ,

He dated his half sister, who had a bigger penis then him lol . I had me laughing few seconds, something I didn't like this movie, sleeping with dead that was bit to far!)

I thought story about dog controlling his owner, would of been a decent plot but this movie was just so Bizarre.

The dog was cute in every scenes, voice for the dog didn't really suit the dog at all, he didn't seem really.

Had some bloody moment, as some comedy moments but had some moments, were I think the movie went to far, I had to fast forward one scenes, I thought it was bad taste.

Paranormal Entity 3: The Exorcist Tapes AKA Anneliese: The Exorcist Tapes

Well in the UK Paranormal Entity as four movies in this series, they all stand alone movies, in series, all have different names in US.

I enjoyed Paranormal Entity I thought was very decent movie, then the second at the times was called Paranormal Entity 2 aka Gacy House (2010), Which I thought it was very boring and did not like it at all.

This movie dose not take long to get going at all, strange things start to happen as first few scenes of the movie, they okay but nothing we not seen before and done a lot better.

Another thing never really moved the story forward, they just stayed on the same level for all of the movie.

It kept me watching me the whole movie, I wasn't bored and even with some of the bad acting and some really bad script.

The movie wasn't actually scary or even creepy and I find most parts very funny and I laughed so many time, my brother asked me what comedy are you watching lol

This is kind of re-watch, I only saw half of it last times, i wasn't really in mood to watch found footage at the time.

However I did watch this movie in full today, In 2010, paranormal investigators tried to film Richard Speck's ghost at the site of his heinous killing spree. The victims' families have finally released the footage that documents their last days.

The movie wasn't that bad, I thought it better then PE 2 Gacy House (2010) and I didn't find any of funny, which is good thing about this movie.

I found two decent creepy scenes, with thought really well done, in kind of mix of slasher and Ghost movie at the same time,

the people are being killed of one by one by this invisible force and we do get to in second part of the movie and killls were decent and so-what gory, One of the reason i liked this movie more then I should.

I didn't find this movie boring at all, they were some slow parts in this movie but they Stll kept me
watching, until the end.

I thought thought it decent found footage movie and thought acting was decent from some of the cast of the movie. some of the cast were really wooden. I don't really watch this movie for the acting.

This movie was very nasty at times, Head smashed, limbs flying off here and there, the good an nasty kind of gross. (Those parts I enjoyed)

I didn't not like how the story moved forward at all, I hated last few scenes from the movie,

Why can't we not have normal were wolf, were there no bloody battle between, super human hairy guy, and guy who saved he head to fight the beast after he turned too.

Well I gave this movie 5 out of 10

I just seen Aliens vs. Predator: Requiem (2007) for first time

I thought movie started of it okay, decent opening, then the teens show up, they didn't really make this teen movie, it not a slasher movie.

Some of scenes in this movie were a bit dark, could make out what going in some parts of tunnel.

I thought the fight scenes were bit boring, nothing compared to the first, which wasn't all that great.

I didn't really like the fact, there far to much going on in this movie, it hard to keep track, There far to many people the movie tried to focus on.

The hospital scenes with the Alien in the room with the new born baby, poor babies but that could have decent but was ruined the silly, Alien and lady about to give birth, I burst out laughing.

There were some bloody gory moments in this movie, nothing we not seen before and I wasn't to keen on how the movie ended, as it was total cop out.

There the last scenes, what the hell that about? . I wasn't really paying attention at the point of the movie.

The acting was okay in this movie but I didn't really connect to anyone in this movie, as there were far to many people to care about in this movie , I find most of people to very annoying, the only thing I felt sorry for was the Alien.

4 out of 10 worth watching

Drag Me to Hell (2009)

I saw this tonight ago, this was re-watch, I only seen once before and I enjoyed then it, I thought it was really good.

The second watch this time, I loved the movie even more then my last watch.

I loved the open scenes from the movie, the movie really dose try to grab in as fast and it can and I loved the fact it dose not take long for thing to happen as the movies goes on.

There were some great decent scenes in this movie, I wouldn't say there scary but there a lot fun to watch.

Some parts of the movie were chesses at times, I loved those scenes and there some really funny moment that made laugh.

The graveyard scene went over the top with Rain, how much rain fell in 3 minutes, to fill that hole.

Near the end the story got bit predictable and I knew were the story was going, it okay, some effect at end, did not look as good as early effects in the movie.

7 out of 10

Also
Kill List (2011) last night for first time, I just could not get into the movie at all, the leads actor just got annoying.

I not really big fan of Hitman movies, there kind of bore me, then, I so bored at 45 min mark, not horror actually happen.

There okay deaths but nothing to gory, the normal hit man stuff and they after hour of that, he finally get to some horror part of the movie.

Some scenes felt they drag on far long!

Which I thought decent, I could not care less at the point of the movie.

..yeah, I haven't read the books which makes it more difficult because I have no comparisons to make, so I was just going off things like Lord of the Rings, where each movie ending was less abrupt..I still enjoyed it though, I found it equally as absorbing as the first one...

..yeah, I think you go through those stages when you just can't get into a book and I think it also takes some of the inclination out of it once you have watched the movie first..what I find now, if I know there is going to be a movie adaption..?..is that I avoid reading the book because I'm usually generally disappointed with the movie if I do, only occasionally I've felt they've adapted the book well and sometimes they completely change the story entirely or key points of the story which makes me just want to throw things at the screen...

http://ts3.mm.bing.net/th?id=HN.608038408514569478&pid=15.1&H=242&W=160

I would this is the weakest of 3, it not connected to first movie as it stand alone movie, small parts about Hooligan.

Even if this movie was called something else, it would just about barley stand on it's on feet!

The plot was really weak for most of the movie, there much they could do with it! and I just could not connect the male leader.

There some some okay fight scenes here and there but nothing to impact of first or even 3rd movie in series.

The acting was not good at all from most of the cast, I was not fan of anyone, I could not care less about one, who dies or who gets free.

Sub plot of Bad cop or good cop, So silly, movie was far to predicable.

Green Street 3: Never Back Down (2013)
http://ts4.mm.bing.net/th?id=HN.608049579719461387&pid=15.1&H=226&W=160

This was actually better then second movie by a lot as this felt more like a REAL sequel to first movie this silly second sequel. (There are still not connections to first or sequel, it just another stand alone movie in series)

This movie about old firm lead who decided come back to old ways after he get called that younger brother as been killed.

We did get see this at start of the movie, it was little as you seen head get smashed up at start of the movie.

I liked fact the show flashback of him and brother talking in black and white, I thought that good idea and add some thing to movie.

There were some I felt watch bit rocky at times, with all training scenes, which kind of make movie a bit more slower pace in some places.

Adkins who back to firm and get them Firm back on top, as battles everyone which each firm.

There some okay fighting, here and there but there were lot high kick and kung fu going on in this movie.

And there were some normal fights, which was decent, some fight don't that long at time and fights feel end in blink of a eye.

There one or two turns in story that liked, which I thought, it didn't really add much to the rest of the plot/movie

5/10

B]Patrick (2013)[/B]

I saw Patrick (1978) early November for first time and I thought it was really good, it was slow burner, it was creepy and it had decent scare's in that movie.

(I even seen the sequel/remake or spin off or what ever what to call it. the Patrick vive ancora (1980) Which I had mixed feeling for.

Everything that I liked about the first movie, well in this movie it was total the opposite it, there were few new scene add here and there, it felt like the same movie all over, almost scene from scene remake.

From the class breaks to the burning hands and the death were all the same even down to last scarce scene in movie (In original that scared the hell out me) This movie this went into silliness and none of the scenes didn't have the same effects

I did not like the person who played Patrick, he did not fit role at all, Patrick in (1978) was much more creepy with his eyes and didn't need some really red eyes effects, which was not scary

(Old Patrick

Creepy ones, this remake no were near this!)

There are far to many fake jumps scenes , there about 7 in one scenes, one after another, I was bored, saw everyone one them coming.

The acting was decent but not great!

I have seen this once before, years ago, I really enjoyed on my first watch but on my second watch I felt a bit different.

I didn't enjoyed as much as my last watch but this time I bloody LOVED IT!

I loved the effects in this movie, they were outstanding, I really enjoyed the story was nice and dark and there were some rally good tense scenes in this movie, that never falls flat.

I liked how Alien looked looked and really enjoyed some of Gore effect in this movie.

I wasn't big fan of last scene of movie, it didn't really fit in with the rest of the movie.

The acting was decent from cast but some poor acting in a few scenes.

Great movie! 8 out of 10

Before today, I have never actually seen James bond movie in full
before, I seen parts of some movies.

Dr. No (1962)!

So I decided for the whole of April 2014, I will watch every single
James bond movies.

So I started of with Dr. No (1962)!

I liked title start of the movie, that tune is still stuck in my head
at the moment.

The movie dose not take long to start at all, the song of 3 old men
walking,(a song singing about which I thought was really clever) but
then turn out not to be , who you think they are!

This movie is not action packed from start to end however it dose have
some great action scenes throughout the movie.

Some decent car chase scenes, one car chase scenes looked a bit out
dated.

I liked there few turns in story, you think the story is going one way
but then take a turn, I really enjoyed this twist and turns in the
movie.

I really enjoyed the last 20 minutes of the movie, I was hoping for
longer fight scenes at end, a little disappointing with that.

The acting was great from whole cast!

As I thought this movie was really good, before I saw it, I did think
whole movie would feel out dated but only one scene actually felt a bit
out dated the rest of the movie was fine, even for today!

I though this movie was really good 7 out of 10

Pretty enjoyable actually and the plot is quite interesting for a comedy. I've always liked Ashton Kutcher, he's got an unfair rep. Always great in comedy movies and was in Butterfly Effect aswell.

Has 3 or 4 funny moments but it's just so ridiculous, lol. Still would like to watch the sequel though for some reason.

Don't even know why I watched this.

Had always assumed Channing Tatum was a terrible actor just because of the roles he used to take but this and Magic Mike have changed my mind, he's actually pretty decent. One of the best comedies I've seen of the last few years. Great cameo towards the end aswell, I hadn't realized the movie was a sequel to a TV show from years ago.

The Great Gatsby (2013) - 8.5/10
I loved this, really don't get the negative reviews at all. Obviously it was going to be controversial, it being based on a literary classic and having Jay Z do the soundtrack, but it worked and I thought the performances were great as well. Especially from Tobey Maguire and of course Leo.

The Lone Ranger - 7/10
Much much better than I was expecting, some of the action scenes on the train are superb and I thought Johnny Depp was great as Tonto.
