IN one of the most controversial storylines in soap history, newcomer Tony is exposed as a sick paedophile who is sleeping with 15-year-old Whitney!
Twisted Tony only ever dated Bianca so he could get close to her young stepdaughter and ‘groom’ her to have sex with him.

After several years of being brainwashed by Tony, schoolgirl Whitney is besotted with him. She believes he also loves her and they’ll run off together. But seedy Tony is planning to dump her, once she turns 16.

Meanwhile, poor Bianca is clueless and is hoping to marry her evil boyfriend!

It’s soon clear how great Tony’s hold on Whitney is after she wins the lead role in her school play. He moans that her rehearsals will stop them spending time together, then tells her how much he’s in love with her.

Desperate to please him, Whitney makes an excuse to stay home instead of going out with Bianca, and she and Tony sleep together!

Later in the week, Tony tightens his grip on Whitney by promising that they will soon be together properly.

“But by the time she is 16, I think Whitney will already be reaching her sell-by date for Tony,” adds Chris. “EastEnders has a history of tackling tough subjects, and I hope this storyline helps viewers understand more about this serious problem.”

EASTENDERS newlyweds Roxy and Sean Slater face heartbreak as their baby is born two months premature.
In agonising scenes, the tot’s life is left hanging by a thread.

Roxy and Sean had a quickie wedding this summer after Roxy, played by Rita Simons, fell pregnant.

The pair have made their unsteady marriage work by preparing for the arrival of their first child.

But a desperately-ill Roxy is rushed to hospital this November after going into early labour.

An Albert Square source said: “It’s a terrible time for Roxy and Sean. While the baby wasn’t planned, it has really brought them together.

“The baby has given Sean something to live for and he’s even kicked the drugs.”

The unplanned pregnancy came after Roxy slept with both Sean and sister Ronnie’s then bad-boy partner Jack Branning, played by Scott Maslen.

The marriage of Roxy and hubby Sean, played by Rob Kazinsky, faced fierce opposition from her family — especially sister Ronnie.

Our source added: “They got married after Sean pledged his love for the unborn baby.

“They’ve turned their lives around preparing to become parents.

“As far as Roxy’s concerned, her pregnancy has finally brought her beloved dad Larry back into her life and given her the stability that she has always dreamed of having.”

When all the Mitchells and Slaters gather at Roxy’s bedside, it looks like the tiny tot just might not make it . . .

But then again, Mitchells are fighters.

An EastEnders spokesperson said: “We can’t comment on future storylines.”

Archie enjoys the games he and Suzy are playing until Danielle tells Ronnie what she overheard, as the trials and tribulations of life in Albert Square continue. It's the day of Jase's funeral, meanwhile, and both Dawn and Billy struggle with their conscience.

Thurday 9 October

Dawn decides to stay in Walford to clear her head, in tonight's visit to Albert Square. Elsewhere, Minty warns Garry that Dawn is going to leave him broken-hearted. Meanwhile, Billy offers a lifeline to Jay.

Friday 10 October

Whitney and Bianca prepare to go on holiday, in the final visit of the week to Albert Square. Jay turns up at the Vic with his bag. But will Billy let him stay? Garry opens his heart to Dawn and asks her to come and live with him.

The predator will soon become bored of his first victim Whitney Dean.

He decides she has become too grown-up and is past her “sell-by-date”. So his new target is Lauren Branning who catches his eye when she visits Whitney (Shona McGarty, 16).

He quickly becomes fascinated by the girl, played by Madeline Duggan, 14.

Thankfully, Tony never gets the chance to take things further with Lauren, but the move shows he is an extremely dangerous character.

Ofcom has received a number of complaints about the story.

But Chris Coghill, 34, who plays Tony, says it is vital that tough issues are highlighted.

He said: “Unfortunately, people like Tony do exist.

“This storyline happens and it’s depressingly common.

“It’s important it’s done correctly, which is why the NSPCC is involved.

“The problem with child abuse is you never really know that someone is an abuser until they do it.”

Tony proposes to Bianca, to Whitney's disapproval, later on in the week she locks herself up in her room forcing Bianca to kick open the door. Danielle learns that Archie has been hiding Ronnie's mail from her.

That's the main summary for next week, but here is a possible big spoiler that was hinted at in Inside Soap;

Danielle finally feels like a true member of the Slater family in tonight's visit to Albert Square. Meanwhile, Roxy's family is worried about her health; Ian finally discovers what Jane has been up to; and Jack and Ronnie talk openly about their relationship and what might have been.

Friday 17th October

Max continues to try to charm Tanya as Ronnie attempts to get Jack to confess he still loves her, in the final visit of the week to Albert Square. Meanwhile, Archie rattles Sean with talk of dirty nappies and says it is the end of his cosy nights in.

Archie, who forced Ronnie to give up the baby for adoption when she was a teenager, is trying to stop her tracing the child.

He doesn’t like the fact that she has written to her ex-boyfriend Joel to find out what happened to their baby.

So he sets fire to the letter before telling her he knows what’s best for her.

An insider said: “According to her dad, Ronnie’s daughter died when she was a little girl.

“But Ronnie can’t trust what he says so starts digging. She writes to her ex but Archie finds out and puts a stop to her investigations before they’ve begun.

“Poor Ronnie is heart-broken. She just wants to get to the truth.”

EastEnders legend John Altman is to make a dramatic return to Walford at Christmas as the notorious Nick Cotton.

The 56-year-old actor was last seen in the BBC soap in 2001 when his screen mother Dot Cotton (June Brown) disowned him following the death of her grandson Ashley (Frankie Fitzgerald).

It later transpired that Nick was responsible for his son's death by cutting the brake cables on Mark Fowler's (Todd Carty) motorbike. Despite intending to kill Mark, it was Ashley who rode the bike to his death.

Since leaving Albert Square, Nick has spent time in prison for various drug-related offences. In 2006, Dot made the shocking discovery that her son was ill in hospital with cancer. Following her off-screen visit to him in hospital, he went on to make a full recovery.

Speaking of his return, Altman said: "After an absence of seven years, I am thrilled to return to Albert Square. The BBC have always given me great storylines as Nick Cotton and I look forward to seeing if Nick will once again spread fear and loathing throughout the Square!"

Executive producer Diederick Santer said: "Nick Cotton is an EastEnders legend. His complex relationship with Dot, his criminal tendencies, and his addiction to heroin, violence, and everything else that's bad have made him one of the show's best-remembered and best-loved villains."

He added: "We're very excited that he - and the talented John Altman who plays him - will be returning to the Square."

Earlier this year, June Brown called for the return of her screen son, claiming that Dot "needs him in her life".

Altman begins filming at Elstree Studios in Borehamwood, Herts - home to EastEnders - later this month, while producers are keeping tight-lipped as to the exact date of his screen reappearance.

EastEnders legend John Altman is to make a dramatic return to Walford at Christmas as the notorious Nick Cotton.

The 56-year-old actor was last seen in the BBC soap in 2001 when his screen mother Dot Cotton (June Brown) disowned him following the death of her grandson Ashley (Frankie Fitzgerald).

It later transpired that Nick was responsible for his son's death by cutting the brake cables on Mark Fowler's (Todd Carty) motorbike. Despite intending to kill Mark, it was Ashley who rode the bike to his death.

Speaking of his return, Altman said: "After an absence of seven years, I am thrilled to return to Albert Square. The BBC have always given me great storylines as Nick Cotton and I look forward to seeing if Nick will once again spread fear and loathing throughout the Square!"

Executive producer Diederick Santer said: "Nick Cotton is an EastEnders legend. His complex relationship with Dot, his criminal tendencies, and his addiction to heroin, violence, and everything else that's bad have made him one of the show's best-remembered and best-loved villains."

He added: "We're very excited that he - and the talented John Altman who plays him - will be returning to the Square."

Earlier this year, June Brown called for the return of her screen son, claiming that Dot "needs him in her life".

Altman begins filming at Elstree Studios in Borehamwood, Herts - home to EastEnders - later this month, while producers are keeping tight-lipped as to the exact date of his screen reappearance.

The September 11 episode of the soap saw Masood Ahmed (Nitin Ganatra) snacking on a chapatti during daylight hours behind his market stall 'Masala Masood'.

When confronted by Jane Beale (Laurie Brett), Masood branded himself a 'bad person', before going to on explain how difficult he is finding fasting when he's selling food all day.

During Ramadan, which was observed this year between September 2 and September 30, participating Muslims are not meant to eat or drink between sunrise and sunset, while also offering more prayer.

The BBC has defended the scene, which sparked complaints from viewers, and has issued a statement. It said: "We would like to assure viewers it was not our intention to insult Muslim or Islamic values.

"Within shows such as EastEnders we try to treat our characters as individuals with their own sets of behaviours and opinions, regardless of their religion, race or sexuality and, as in real life, they do not always strictly follow all the laws, traditions and customs of their religions."

It went on: "The Masoods have already proven to be popular with viewers, and we have in general been delighted by the response to them. However, they are a group of just four characters and should not be seen to represent the entire British-Asian or British Muslim experience.

"Although Masood is a practising Muslim, he has his own fallibilities as a human being. Our intention was never to focus primarily on the religion, but on the character's ability to meet the standards he aspires to in life."

nickys ment to be making me a bracey one.I had a fave characters one ages ago lol.
erm wasnt exactly the set we couldnt go in we could just walk up the drive but we saw them all coming in and going out saw about 20 characters.Also theres a museum overlooking the set so we went in there and you could see Gails garden,the garage,devs shop etc lol was cooool

stacey discovers shes preggers on xmas day....
calls round to see bradders who has copped off with some other bird (dunno who yet though)
max comes round for a quick fumble as hes feeling lonely over the festive period and seeing as stacey has been rejected by all time love bradders she thinks oh go on then,seeing as its xmas ,plus shes parched from the recent man drought since she gave bradders his marching orders and callum is still beating around the brush trying to come up with ways to tell her that hes actually gay and it was bradders he was after all along and he just wanted to split them up.
so anyways boxing day comes round stacey feels guilty,bradders is feeling suicidle after his xmas fling sent a rumour around the vic that hes a flop in bed and max is ,well max is just wanting another quick grope in the vic bogs.
Bradders decides he wants stacey back again,for the 50th time,Stacey drops the bomb shell that shes got a ginger biscuit in the oven,Bradleys over joyed and shebang!
