Yeah, I don't think he deserved to get Julia's Theme though. He's been in there years but has been hardly ever involved in any major storylines. Waste of a character.

Think he ended up as a glorified extra really. He never really had a place other than Phils monkey

Personally even though Minty didn't do much i'm glad that Cliff Parisi got Julia's Theme because of the service he gave to them.

WTF that spoiler is so random Callum, I was like LOL when I was reading it in Inside Soap:joker:.

Good news about Billy's friend joining, i've been wanting them to give him a big storyline for a while now and Perry Fenwick is a good actor when given the right material:).

This is another reason Kirkwood's p!ssing me off. All these characters just leaving within a day or two notice. Ben was a good reason because we were expecting his trial, but Adam the day Libby found out he tried to seduce Libby? Chelsea and Libby leaving their Mum so soon after all they'd been through? Peggy the day after the pub 'burnt to the ground'/needed a repaint? Minty because he left Heather earlier that day?

And I really cannot stand Alfie/Shane Ritchie. I still hold it against him that Nana Moon was killed off lol

WTF has Kat had done to her lips?.. Used to always think she was quite attractive (in a rouygh chavy sort of way) but she;s had collagen or some **** put in her top lip by the looks of it and it just looks like she's had a right skelp from somebody!

Me too:D, DS lot slagged it off though they're negative most of the time:rolleyes:. I preferred the Alfie and Shirley scene, funny one was Kat and Roxy PMSL in the bookies.

Enjoyed seeing Stacey having fun before the Janine and Ryan storyline begins:).

Watched that! Nana Moon dying was sooooo sad :/ But was great to see a recap of the Kat & Alfie storyline, and Kat and Zoe's too.

I know, that was funny but I hope Kat doesn't keep up this hard faced cow act all the time, it doesn't suit her. I like to see the nice side of Kat too. :) Another thing I liked about tonight's episode was Alfie's chat with Dot, that was nice. Oh and his chat with Jane was nice too, I like how they haven't forgot how Alfie was friends with all these people.

I really do hope Kirkwood brings in a few characters in the 20+ group which are lacking and develops them.. Stacey will be a big loss however in a few years when the character is grown up and Lacey Turner hopefully returns will be awesome;).

Didn't nana Moon have that special episode where they went back in time??

Yeah that's the episode I was on about in my previous episode, I loved that episode.

I hope no more characters are brought back. I think they should maybe introduce a new family in a few years time, we need some quirky characters with substance. The Darren's and Jodie's are all very nice but are hardly in the same league as say the Dot's, Pat's and Bianca's of Walford. We need some characters with depth and who will have a long future on the show. I hope Kirkwood works now on making the show feel more like a community again, it's been ages since it's felt like one big community in Walford. There needs to be more character interaction between people who normally wouldn't speak with each other. It's essential to make the show better.

EastEnders star Shane Richie has teased viewers about his upcoming plot, labelling it the 'biggest storyline in soap history'.

The actor has reprised the role of loveable Alfie Moon after five years, and Jessie Wallace has gone back to playing Kat Moon.

Shane told This Morning: "We had a meeting last year and we got told about the storyline, which was going to be an on-going story for the best part of a year, maybe two years... and we kind of went 'Wow!'

"And I can honestly say, it's going to be the biggest soap story I think in probably the history of soaps."

He added: "I'm putting my neck on the line, and it's a big thing to say but we've recently had another meeting with the exec producer and me and Jessie are almost foaming at the mouth knowing what's going to happen!

"It really is going to be massive."

Kat and Alfie take over the Queen Vic, which is currently a burnt-out shell thanks to the recent fire.

Shane said of the boozer's future: "Kat and Alfie have really put their mark on it. It looks very much like their place."

Wonder what it will be??? Sounds promising!

Good episode tonight but Janine ruined it for me. Anyone else find Charlie Brooks a really poor actress these days? All the hand movements and over exaggerating she does annoys me so much and she speaks weirdly too. I miss the old Janine. :( Loved Kat though mouthing off to Janine, she stole all the scenes she was in tonight. That American guy on webcam to Lauren was so unconvincing, he didn't even sound American. Still liking the new Lauren though.

Tragedy is about to hit Albert Square in EastEnders when Billie is found dead on the morning after his birthday party.

As exclusively revealed by DS last month, Billie's lifeless body is discovered by Bianca, causing shock and heartbreak all round.

Billie's ex-girlfriend Whitney is among those who struggle to cope in the aftermath of his passing. As his family grieve, she pays a visit to the graffiti wall - a special place for the couple as Billie once painted 'Whitney' there.

Standing by the wall, where a shrine for Billie is beginning to form, Whitney mourns his loss. Will she and the rest of Billie's loved ones ever recover from the tragedy?

So Leon and Zsa Zsa also got a quick exit storyline. Well that's just sh!t. I'm worrying that Charlie will get a lame exit too.

And this rubbish with kat's baby is annoying me. I think everyone guessed Michael could be the father and I think a lot of people are predicting it will be Alfie's baby after all because of ehr beign 6 months pregnant and having last seen Alfie 6 months ago. What is the blooming point?

Can't wait for Billie to leave and hoping it gives Carol more to work with as she's bene underused.

Lol the sooner Leon went the better but I suppose he still deserved better that what he got. Zsa left just moments earlier and then he decided to leave as well with that forceful speech like it was a "And the moral of this story is" kind of style. Awful

It's hilarious that the script writers have suddenly remembered that Billy used to be an abusive thug. He originally looked after Jamie & he used to beat him up... I saw the laugh as more of a nervous laugh. Mixed with "Is this for real?". Pretty natural reaction for someone to just laugh, not because they find it funny, but because they can't take it in. Bit like Carole couldn't take it in and was just numb.

Ooooh Interesting spoiler revolving into a 'Stacey twist.' This could possibly unwind Stacey's exit!!! :D ;)

EastEnders actress Lacey Turner has revealed details of the latest drama for her character Stacey Branning, who lets slip one of her darkest secrets in next week's episodes.

Forthcoming scenes on the BBC soap will see Stacey spend a night in a police cell with Janine, Kat, Kim and Pat after they all become embroiled in a huge brawl at R&R.

As the women bond behind bars, there's a big twist in store when Stacey admits that she was raped by Archie Mitchell last year. After making the confession, the mum-of-one immediately regrets doing so - fearing that the group will soon realise she was Archie's killer.

Speaking to Inside Soap about the storyline, Turner explained: "Kim comes up with a game for them all to play to pass the time. Someone has to name a certain scenario, and if anyone has been in that particular situation, they have to stand up. It's quite funny, because Janine and Stacey discover that they have a lot in common - which they're not best pleased about!

"They're having a real slanging match during the game, and the conversation turns to the fact that Janine was engaged to Archie. Pat and Janine are laying into Stacey for having Ryan's baby. It all gets too much for her, so she ends up branding Archie as a rapist."

Speculating on what could happen now that Janine and the others are aware of Stacey's motive, Turner added: "She's quite stupidly given her biggest enemy a huge clue to her darkest secret. She's safe for now, I think, as Janine hasn't made the connection. But who knows how long that's going to last?"

Stacey's guilt over Archie was first revealed in EastEnders' live episode back in February.

EastEnders star Lacey Turner has revealed that she has been glad to revisit the "bubbly" side of her character Stacey Branning in recent weeks.

Speaking to Inside Soap, the actress confessed that she has noticed a change in her alter ego's attitude since Kat Moon (Jessie Wallace) returned to the Square last month.

Turner explained: "I've missed the old Stacey. I've been so lucky with my storylines, but it can get a bit tedious if I have to cry every day.

"Having Kat back has injected a bit of life into Stacey, so it's nice to be playing a bubbly girl again."

Meanwhile, in a separate interview with the magazine, EastEnders' executive producer Bryan Kirkwood hinted that Stacey will share many more scenes with Kat before she bows out of the soap.

Kirkwood said: "Kat helps Stacey reclaim some of the spirit that she's lost over the years. We see a return to their appetite for mischief."

Grief-stricken Carol Jackson makes another decision that she may live to regret in EastEnders later this month as she seeks comfort in the arms of Billie's friend Connor.

After enduring the heartbreaking day of Billie's cremation, Carol returns home and seems to be on the verge of a breakdown as she sits alone and sheds more silent tears.

However, there's more drama in store for the troubled mum when Connor bursts through the door and angrily confronts her over banning him from the funeral.

Carol is in no mood to argue and stays calm in the face of Connor's provocation. Instead, she reminisces over the time that Connor and Billie spent growing up together and tells her visitor what a cute kid he used to be.

When Connor relents and gives Carol a comforting kiss, the gesture leads to them heading to bed together…

Well, they've already announced they are going to kill off a baby in the new year, either Kat's or Ronnie's, I doubt they will do the same with Lily.

Still this is Eastenders I guess.

Surely even Janines not that bad

WHY?!?!???? :conf: :conf:

She is consumed with grief, the poor woman! And Lindsey Coulson's brilliant acting yet again tonight had me with tears pouring down my face... :bawling:

If she doesn't win a heap of awards next year it's a fix!

Eastenders is better when it sticks to the drama which it has always been great at but i've enjoyed the more fun and lighter stuff they've had.. they're good at what they do, imagine if Corrie had an whole episode of doom and gloom instead of the comedy which they are known for?.

Whaaaaaaaat??? She is a brilliant actress, definitely the best actress in EastEnders & possibly in any soap. The way she is acting out Carol's grief is brilliant, I'm not EastEnders biggest fan but I have been moved to tears several times in this storyline...

Yeah before Billie died Carol was a bit of a cold biatch, but everything she is doing since has been due to her grief... Cut her some slack! :nono:

I didn't really find the whole stopping on the level crossing scene convincing last night, like the chances of someone stopping there of all places and then incidently running out of petrol is very slim? Meh not fussed on this storyline in general though

But its so true about soaps copying each other xD

I don't think that is the case really. All the soaps follow a common theme, based on a group of neighbours living in each other's homes. Or sharing the same pub/cafe etc..

They've gotta clash at some point as they are all on 4/5 hours a week.
