Yeah I thought it was a bit weird how they both came out of it with only a couple of cuts and bruises, the corner of the blue thing they crashed in was right where Max would've been sitting.

Also found it quite funny how at the wedding when they found out about it it was broad daylight when Tanya was asking Jack if she could go with him, yet in the next scene of him driving there it was night time all of a sudden

Yeah, from what I remember Max turned straight into it and it took out his whole side of the car. Theres no way they'd let him go out straight after :joker:

I'm sure theres something different about Jack. Is it his hair? He looks..... I dunno, odd

I haven't watched Eastenders for a while and Isaid xactly the same last night.. He looks older I think. I'm not sure but I thought his hair maybe wasnt quite as dark?

EE has never been good at continuity. Forgetting certain people are related to each other, forgetting certain people are friends etc. but last night was pretty bad for sure.

I just can't put my finger on it. Somethings so different yet so subtle! The only thing I can think of is when they had to change all the filming when Sam/Ronnie pulled out of the baby swap storyline or something. Therefore his hair much longer as it was filmed later (and rushed). Ugh - Goodness knows :joker:

Like who?

Ian and Ben are only brothers when it suits the writers for one. Can't think of any more at the moment but I know there's been loads of times over the years where relations have been forgotton. Friendships are worst though. Alfie and Ian used to be good mates, yet they've had like 2 scenes together since his return. Mo and Pat used to be bestfriends yet I don't even think they've had more than 5 scenes together since 2005. Ben and Abi used to be bestfriends, what happened to that? EE is much worse at continunity than Corrie, it has to be said.

Kerry
18-04-2011, 03:52 AM
I'd actually be intrigued to see an EE family tree as I'm sure the whole of Albert Square must be related by blood or marriage. Jack alones done his bit :joker:

I completely agree with you, also I only catch bits of Eastenders,it's so depressing at times, for the wrong reasons.
I also think this baby switch storyline has gone on for way too long.

I remember a flashback episode showing Pat and Mo were bestmates when they were younger. Weren't they hookers or something?

But eventually hated each other. Don't think that's changed.

Just this episode I think.

But, with everything going on, I like how Kat felt like spending time on that make up.

I know it's TV but in real life would you really give a **** about what you're wearing or doing your hair etc. She should be more like Jean lol.

Charlie is going to make guest appearances now and again. He is in Thursday's episode also.

Good episode tonight, was nice for a change to not see Kat miserable. Mo made me laugh with the drinks, so happy she's in the Vic now. :D Fatboy's dad hasn't grown on me yet, I just don't like him.

Or did the teens and everyone in the vic film their scenes this morning that included the Royal Wedding?

The scenes will have been filmed weeks ago. Notice that the wedding footage only featured in cutaways to the TV screens, added in today. It wasn't like we got a wide shot of the Vic crowd infront of the screen. And Ben, Abi and Jay were shown watching the TV, with cutaway shots.

The only thing they did do, was show Janine's granny looking at the screen. Although that could have been any random caretaker in a hat and coat from behind, lol.

Agree about the Masoods

I hate how their splitting them up too. Does every couple have to get split up in EastEnders? I've heard that

Masood confesses his love for Jane soon

and that Zainab ends up turning to Yusef for comfort

So typical.

Really enjoyed last week's episodes. Nice to see the Beales at the forefront of the show again and I like how Jane is standing up for herself. Always thought Ian treated her like crap so it's good to see her getting her own back. Jack and Rainie on Friday though was just ew, knew it wouldn't be long before Rainie was back to her old ways. Also liked Vanessa behind the bar in the Vic, she grew on me slightly during those scenes. Oh and the material for Dot last week was brilliant :D Such a great character and glad she's getting loads of screentime lately, anyone know where Jim's gone though? Sounded to me like he's been taken to a care home and he hasn't been on screen in ages but I thought Dot was hiring a carer.... :conf:

Masood loses patience with Yusef and resorts to desperate measures later this month after the scheming doctor steps up his manipulation.

The Masoods' marriage hits rock bottom in the coming days and Yusef seizes on this in a discussion with his love rival, implying that he and Zainab are much closer than they actually are.

Masood cannot bear the thought that Yusef is comforting his wife throughout her problems and he later reaches the end of his tether when the sinister GP taunts him over Zainab for a second time.

Finally taking matters into his own hands, Masood follows his nemesis to the garage, threatens him and lets him know exactly what he thinks about his antics. But how far will Masood go to get rid of him?

Ronnie and Jack got back together 'offically' tonight when she snogged him and gave him his wedding ring back to wear

Jim got taken to a care home after Dot had a sort of breakdown and hit the bottle. She ran around the Square asking her neighbours for treacle and telling everyone to forgive those they love. Jim left tonight

As far as I can recall nothing. Not seen them together since.

There was in incident where Dot (during her mad spell) was in the pub and saw Kat. She was blathering on in her drunken confused state that Kat should forgive. That she (Dot) herself had done bad things (had an abortion) but that sometimes bad things happen. Kat was disgusted with her and Dot went home to carry on going potty

I think Kat will eventually realise just how psychologically damaged Ronnie is and will find it in her heart to forgive but won't forget. EastEnders wanted to portray the breakdown Ronnie has suffered from after all this trauma in her life so the only way she can leave is to have psychological treatment.

True but she does have family there and could stay with them, if she wanted to she could return in the future if she wants unless the court do put a procedure in place to say she cannot go near Tommy but if this wasn't the case then Kat hasn't got the power to say to Ronnie you cannot come back as she doesn't own the Square..

EastEnders' Michael Moon is set to develop a dangerous obsession with Ronnie Branning, sister of his girlfriend Roxy.

Fans of the BBC1 soap are already aware that the character - played by Steve John Shepherd - isn't exactly a goody-two-shoes, but according to the Daily Star, Michael is about to reveal a very dark side.

It's rumoured he will ask Roxy to wear the same perfume as Ronnie, and will be seen sneaking into Ronnie's room to watch her sleep, and rooting around in her underwear drawer.

An insider said: "Everyone knows Michael has a mean streak but he is set to get a whole lot worse.

"He's trying to meddle in as many people's lives as possible. It seems he wants Ronnie all to himself. But what exactly is he up to?"

EastEnders' executive producer Bryan Kirkwood has already compared Michael to the villainous Archie Mitchell, who also terrorised troubled Ronnie.

LOL wierd, I dun like his character.

Zainab spoiler

EastEnders character Zainab will be wrongly accused of having an affair Yusef Khan, it has been reported.

Yusef will tell Zainab that he wants to be with her while at Tamwar and Afia's mehndi ceremony. His sister-in-law Shameem overhears and announces to the congregation that they are having an affair, causing Masood to punch Yusef.

"The whole day turns into a disaster. When Shameem sees Yusef and Zainab together she automatically thinks they're having an affair," a source said. "Everyone struggles to come to terms with what they have just heard.

"But not Masood. He sees red and punches Yusef. [Yusef's girlfriend] Denise is stunned by the news and confronts Zainab but she denies everything and flees the ceremony.

"Afia is devastated and demands answers from her dad Yusef. He assures her it is all lies before leaving to find Zainab. It's one hell of a fall-out."

Tamwar and Afia's wedding airs a week on Tuesday on BBC1..

Pathetic use of Fathers Day as a theme. Do Muslims even acknowledge it?

Go Tamwar at the end:D.

PMSL Kim's dancing:laugh2:. Liked the scene between Afia/Denise and Christian/Afia/Zainab.

Eddie and Carol getting it on, the drama with Liam was good too.

Mehndi dancing was fun and I really enjoyed it:).

They should have focussed more on the dancing and have had a bit of a dance-off, it was fun.

^ LOL:joker:.

Fantastic episode, the Masoods are great. Nina and Nitin are very good actors. Yusef is so bad but I still like him, poor Zainab is going to be horrifed when she discovers the truth:(.

Some fun moments but I did feel for Denise too:bawling:.

Max and Tanya:sleep:, not even interested.

Liked the other stff:). Yusef is a good villain and although Zainab does frustrate me sometimes with her attitude I felt sorry for her at the end. Loved Denise taking her revenge.

Ugh Rainie she's biting off more than she can chew messing with Shirley.

Enders on form again apart from a few things:).

I know yeah, he's supposed to be the gullible and sweet one. He's like another version of Alfie but doesn't grate on you unlike Mr Moon;).

Rainie

Is around to the end of the year at least according to Tanya Franks but she might be sticking around after. I like Shirley and Phil together but they might break up now:(..

Michael His mood gets even darker soon towards Ronnie after she rejects his romantic advances:shocked:. He tries to convince Kalfie she's trying to steal their baby again.

Hes a very dark character but good, at first I found him cheesy.

And Rainie
Shes brilliant glad shes around a lot longer, Ive loved Shirley for ages but shes beginning to become annoying moaning at Phil all the time.

Well Shirley is obviously going to be jealous at all the attention Phil is paying Rainie and he's treated previous lovers or wives bad. The commitment between them is still non existent.

She was at him a lot even before Rainie showed up again. Needs to be the chilled-back Shirl again.

Well everyone knows what Phil is like:p. Shirl has had to be like his mommy as well as girlfriend since Peggy has gone. Still a square legend though!
