Hey Callum:), I agree Lacey Turner can deliver such high performances whatever they give her. The storyline won't ruin her but they need to bring back the wild Stacey:D.

Archie wasn't even the dad.. that will make things a lot harder for her now I think.. maybe even make her feel guilty. I think that the bosses had a surge of clever thinking when they incorporated the killer with Bradley. It will add another twist as to whether Stacey will want to pin the blame on Bradley.

WHILE the residents of Albert Square mourn Bradley's dramatic death, Stacey remains eerily calm.
But as the reality of her loss finally hits home, the grieving widow flees.

With plans for Bradley's funeral already underway, will Stacey miss her chance to say a final farewell to him?

As the week begins, Stacey is in shock after Bradley's sudden death. She refuses to take off her wedding dress or leave her bedroom.

Anxious Charlie and Jean try to coax her out, but when that fails, Becca suggests they break down the door.

Concerned for her state of mind, Charlie ends up forcing the door - only to find Stacey looking surprisingly composed and ready to face the world.

She announces that she wants to go to the hospital, so she can say a proper goodbye to Bradley.

As fragile Stacey sits alone outside the chapel of rest, she watches a video of her wedding on her camera.

Then, as Stacey looks back at her dead husband's body, it sinks in that Bradley really is gone - and she races out of the hospital in tears.

It's not long before Jean, Becca and Charlie realise that Stacey has vanished.

As the days pass, with no word from Stacey, her family are beside themselves and report her disappearance to the police.

But Becca comes up with a plan to get Stacey to come home, and places an advert in the Gazette, announcing details of Bradley's funeral.

Becca is hopeful her pal will see the notice and turn up to the service. But can Stacey face life in the Square without Bradley?

The Archie whodunnit - with eight suspects in the frame - has attracted a surge of viewers to BBC1.

The latest figures show EastEnders recorded an average of 10.8 million viewers an episode last month with an audience share of 40.4 per cent.

It soared ahead of Coronation Street, which had 400,00 fewer viewers at 10.4 million, with a 38.2 per cent share.

BBC executives are said to be 'delighted' at the figures, which is seen as revenge after Coronation Street scooped the best soap award at last month's National Television Awards for the first time in six years.

Executive producer Diederick Santer said: 'Clearly our massive storylines and great characters have grabbed the audience’s attention and affection.

'As we head towards our anniversary, it’s clear that EastEnders is the nation’s favourite.'

The Walford drama has gained nearly 2 million viewers in the last year after a disastrous ratings slump that saw audiences dip to just 8.9 million.

Fans have been hooked as the hunt for Archie's killer goes on.

The Albert Square villain, played by Gavin and Stacey actor Larry Lamb, was clubbed to death by a mystery assassin armed with the famous Queen Vic bust.

But the boost in viewers was also helped by feel-good stories like the wedding of Amira and Syed, which was watched by 12 million people on New Year's Day.

Yesterday some of the soap's cast visited an east London gallery where an exhibition of props and costumes has opened to the public documenting a quarter of a century of cliffhanger endings.

The live anniversary episode will be broadcast on February 19.

The fall guy (yet again) will be her poor hubby Bradley, with detectives blaming him for the Queen Vic killing.

A whopping 16.6 million viewers saw Bradders plunge to his death just before Stacey's confession in Friday night's live episode to mark the show's 25th birthday.

But bipolar Stacey - played by multi-award-winning Lacey Turner - won't be going down.

An insider told us: "Lacey is with us for the foreseeable future.

"But don't forget she told her father-in-law Max that she killed Archie - so there are plenty of twists and turns to come."

Yesterday Lacey, 21, revealed she nearly couldn't say the infamous words, "It was me, I killed Archie" - due to a bad sore throat.

Earlier in the day she'd missed the dress rehearsals because she'd lost her voice - then she lost it again straight after filming.

She said: "It's typical isn't it - just as the live is upon us I get ill and lose my voice but, to be honest, even though I felt terrible nothing was going to stop me doing it.

"Everyone has worked so hard on this episode and it is such a big part of TV history that I just knew I couldn't miss it. I just made sure I rested my voice throughout the day so I could save it for the filming."

And sexy singleton Lacey had NO inkling she was Archie's killer until 20 minutes before the show.

The plot was such a huge secret that the cast had to rehearse TEN possible endings. Lacey, 21, said: "I honestly couldn't believe it. I had no idea and didn't for one minute think it would be Stacey.

"Usually you are told when you get such a big storyline but this really must be the best-kept secret in EastEnders' history."

She went on: "I got a call to go and see Diederick (Santer, the executive producer) about 20 minutes before we went live. We all knew he was going to see Archie's killer but I didn't think for one second it would be me.

"To be honest it still hasn't sunk in and I can't believe I was the one who killed Archie Mitchell!"

She admitted that like the rest of Britain, she has spent the last few weeks wondering who bashed the rogue with the Queen Vic bust on Christmas Day.

Lacey said: "It was really sad but also really exciting. The show has given him such an amazing exit. I will really miss working with him.

After filming, Charlie said: "I'm drained of everything. It's crazy and it's been so emotional. But it's such a big way to go out.

"The live thing was fine for me. The four of us (Charlie, Lacey, Scott Maslen who plays his uncle Jack and Jake Wood as Max) have been getting together and going over and over the lines. It's like doing a piece of theatre."

Viewers saw some blips - like Scott fluffing his lines and Jake shoving his fingers down his throat to retch after Bradley's death.

But fans on web forums also had high praise for the show, which pulled off the death by moving a body-double stuntman and massive airbag in just 40 seconds.

Afterwards Archie actor Larry Lamb was told who'd killed him in a BBC3 spin-off show - seen by a record 4.3 million people. He thought it was screen daughter Ronnie and said: "I am surprised.

To be honest I thought that there would be more crying, although Stacey and Max were evidently really upset I didn't see Dot and Jim cry which surprised me. Just got 10/10 on the Eastenders TV Quiz :)

They had abit too many questions on the stupid 80s and 90s though.

Lacey was brilliant tonight, the last scene was so well made. To be honest I thought that there would be more crying, although Stacey and Max were evidently really upset I didn't see Dot and Jim cry which surprised me. Also I thought Jack might have said something to Stacey when he saw her outside the Vic and he didn't. It was a good episode but I thought that people would have been a bit more emotional over his death.

Agree, I was looking forward to seeing how Jim,Dot and Jean reacted to this as they were always very close to him.

Jim was the first person that spoke to Bradley on TV
Dot loved him and always took care of him
Jean was like a 2nd mother to him

Dot was crying more over Dottys Stupid mother.

And to be honest, Big Mo was crying more than those 3 which shocked me.

Becca is annoying me:mad:, nasty but she's an interesting character and I think EE have big plans for her however I like the actress who plays her:hugesmile:.

Becca is great, reckon she will develop into a really intriging character, probably annoying to most aswell but she makes me laugh (in real life she would probably annoy me though :laugh:).

Yeah Dot/Jim were a bit disappointing, Jean is as mad as a hatter and worrys more for Stacey which is understandable imo.
