It does say it's getting a brand new set yeah, but it doesn't say anything about EE not showing when it all happens. I doubt they'd do something like that.

Omg....Dot's house!
Yes That Was Very Sad For Old Dot She Didn't Derserve That Did She Really and What About Jane With That Stripper Then and Ian Wasn't Pleased At All Either. But Don't Miss Tomorrow Nights As It's The Stabbing Of Young Jay This Is Gonna Be Sad Too and I Won't Miss It Either

I cant wait to see what shirley does with the pictures!! Masood and Shirley were great together!! How can anyone say that EE is still depressing with the last 2 episodes being mostly based on lighter relief comedy with just small intervenes for dot/jay and ronnie/jack. Christians a great addition too, anyone else see him and roxy becoming good friends and just continuously winding up Ian!!! <3 it!! That see where scene found out chris was gay was legendary.

EE is great at the moment, Christian's a great funny character and the Jay storyline and the Jack/Ronnie storyline are gripping, Tonight's episode is going to be good, I wonder how Jack is to blame for his daughter's condition?
EDIT: Who else can see and hope that Stacey and Steven will get together? They'd make a great couple.
Yes I Watched This Last Night Poor Old Dot Bless Her But Poor Young Jay Too I Hope He's Gonna Be Ok After That They Need Sorting Out What The've Done To Poor Old Dot And Jay What Did You Lot Think To It Then
Jackie
23-01-2008, 03:06 PM
I feel sorry for Jay just because he doesn't want anything to do with the gang they befriended him by stabbing him.
supernoodles!
23-01-2008, 04:50 PM
no ee tonight GUTTED!anyhow, yeah Dezzy they`d make a great couple i diddnt think much of steven when he first came into it but now i love him,i think hes a great actor, really enjoyable to watch, great chemisty with the Beale Family and generally seems like a nice person deep down. Also nice to see his friendship with Stacey blossom, they make a good team and it would be nice to seem them together but Stacey belongs with Bradley so I cant see it ever happening!
I Can't See It Happening Either But It Would Be A Great Thing Though As It Looks Great To See Stephen So Happy When He's Near Stacey Plus I Think Jase Is Gonna Be Guttered When He Sees His Son Being Stabbed That Was A Sad Experience Poor Old Dot Too I Hope She Is Gonna Be Ok After All That
supernoodles!
24-01-2008, 11:50 AM
Yep should be a gud en tonight Ann!
Hopefully Jay will be fine:bigsmile:I hope Steven ends up getting a gf,not sure if theres anyone suitable on the square atm though!

Callum
24-01-2008, 12:37 PM
EE tonight then. I reckon it's gunna be fab as well, poor Dot though, I hope that gang leave her alone, she doesn't need all that especially when her husband is very ill, and she lives by her self. Hoping to see Tanya soon as well, she hasn't been on in a while now, and it's a shame.
Yes Callum True Words Written There Too Mate I Totally Agree 100%
001steven
24-01-2008, 12:45 PM

That's pretty pathetic to be honest. I mean it does go on in the real world, so it should be fine for EE to show something like that.
supernoodles!
24-01-2008, 12:53 PM
omg 200 complaints??what the hell for??some people need to open there eyes, get a life and take a look aorund them.ee are doing some good with this storyline, its raising awareness to the issue!
Very True Words Said supernoodles I Think They Should Open Their Eyes Wider Too Talk About Getting Worse Or What :conf:
supernoodles!
24-01-2008, 04:15 PM
I cant see why people would complain, maybe it is something to do with the level of violence shown before the watershed but to be honest the stabbing was very subtle, not horrific or gory in the slightest!I dont understand it.
Well That's How This Public Is Today Arent They But I Wander What Happens Tonight Then Hopefully Dot Will Get Her Help That Yolandies Been Giving Her To Sort Out These Lads:cheer2:
MarkWaldorf
25-01-2008, 08:59 PM
If people are offended by the stabbing then they shouldn't watch the show. I'm sure a warning was given before the episode began anyway. Some people should learn to lift their telephones for more important things.
supernoodles!
26-01-2008, 04:17 PM
exactly, they shoudl try using the money they spent making that phone call to complain on a charity that has some relevence to the storyline!
I Totally Agree With What You Two said As You Look It's Happening All Round Us Now isnt It really :cheer2:

26-01-2008, 06:06 PM
Dot's to appear in an episode herself on Thursday 31st January.

Jackie

Yes I Hope Old Dots Gonna Be Fine After That Trauma As She Doesn't Need It Bless Her and Iwander What's Gonna Happen To Callum's Most Hated Actress The Idian Lady Now Her Husband Is Going Back To See About The Family Death But It Should Turn Out Great As Alkways
Callum
29-01-2008, 09:02 AM
Hahaha! I'm really missing Tanya lately, she hasn't been on in ages! :(
That Clare is back on Friday then, what does everyone think to her? She seems like a feisty lady, but I read somewhere she trys to get with Ian. I can't wait till Friday's episode because I read that Ronnie gives Jack a slap across the face for doing the dirty on her, that's gunna be a picture.

Lucy Beale upcoming spoiler-
IAN BEALE’S house gets trashed after rebel daughter Lucy puts party details on the net – then joins the wrecking spree.
The EastEnders teen tearaway posts notice of the bash on a social networking website.
An army of boozed-up revellers turn up — and instead of calling time Lucy helps them smash up her home.
The spree happens while she is left home alone but Ian and wife Jane return the next day and are horrified to find damage running into thousands of pounds.
Last night a source at the BBC soap said: “The mood at the party takes a turn for the worse and soon everything is smashed up.
“The TV is the first to go then everything else follows.
“Lucy has been rebelling for a while but this is the worst thing she’s ever done.”
Lucy played by Melissa Suffield, 15, cuts loose while businessman Ian and Jane are away seeing a pal collect an MBE from The Queen at Buckingham Palace.
They check into a West End hotel overnight. But after all the pomp, they are in for a right royal shock.
Our source added: “The whole house gets trashed and Ian and Jane come back to find it ruined.”
Viewers have seen wet fish Ian, played by Adam Woodyatt, struggling for months to tame Lucy.
But the party chaos, to be screened in March, proves he is losing his battle.
Our insider said: “Lucy and Ian’s relationship is in tatters after the party.
“He’s been trying really hard to bond with her but just when he thinks he’s gaining ground, this happens.”

Max Branning is listed as a departed character!! Now I do not believe this to be true however if it comes out to be true then I will be absolutely gutted. He's one of the best characters in EE at the moment, and one of the best additions in a long time.

I dont think Jack's done anything wrong, he slept with Selina to stop her taking Penny away, otherwises he wouldn't of done it, he didn't do it when he went to see Penny. If you read Scott Maslen's interview, he said Jack isn't a character who sleeps around.
I dislike Jack's character now. I was begining to dislike Ronnie because she was acting a bit of a mug but that changed last night when she smacked him in the face. That was so funny. I'm really liking Christian now (I hated him before). Him and Roxy are great together.

Thanks for that Ann. Good news about John Bardon recovering well. I didn't expect him to come back but if he does that will be great. Tonight's episode will be very sad, June Brown's a very good actress and it will be from the heart because of her long working relationship with John Bardon.
I Forgot To Say Too That It Did Show A Clipping Of Dot Doing The Taping and She Makes Two Mugs Of Tea Instead Of One Then Realises Afterwards That Does Look Funny Too But It Is A Very Sad Serious But It's Good Too:flowers:

I loved it tonight. It was really sad though, but I loved listening to June Brown telling her life story. I liked the end credits too, and the music at the end. It was a fantastic episode, and I can totally see why June gets credited so much for playing Dot after tonight's episode, she's a great actress. 10/10 for tonight.

cant wait to see what happens with stacey next week either coz she collapses doesnt she
My Family actress Siobhan Hayes has joined the cast of EastEnders.
The 32-year-old – who is most noted for playing dimwit Abi Harper in BBC sitcom My Family – is to play the role of Melinda, the WAG-wannabe partner of Walford returnee Ricky Butcher (Sid Owen).
A Walford source told DS: "Ricky returns to the Square for his dad Frank's funeral and turns up with Melinda - but is it true love or just a fling between them?"
Sid Owen and Patsy Palmer (Bianca) returned to filming with the BBC soap last month and will make their on-screen comeback in March.
Charlie Brooks and Sophie Lawrence also agreed to reprise their Albert Square roles – Janine and Diane Butcher respectively – for EastEnders' special 'Frank Week'.

Yeah, a lot of people either found it really good or really boring. There isn't really an in between with an episode like that. June Brown done herself proud and EastEnders proud with her superb acting though. To think she had to learn all those lines and just reel them off in one go with little breaks whilst being that emotional is incredible.
I like your banner by the way.

Inside Soap 2-8 February Spoilers
In Inside Soap it says Stacey collapses next week, and she hits the bottle and burns some of her stock as well as none of it is selling. Also, it mentions Ian goes for a romantic meal with a gay man and they get close, the man offers Ian to go to Buckingham Palace with him and Ian accepts. It says about Pat & Peggy hitting the warparth at Frank's funeral, and it also says that Hazel leaves Minty after finding out she's not pregnant, and Minty ends up lashing out on Gary. It also says that Clare and Chelsea fight for a job at Booty, they have to both wax Big Mo's legs as a trial, lmao! & it says about Deano coming back and making his mum (Shirley) paying for a prostitute for him!

Yay, I love her on My Family!

Also, there is a picture of Janine for Frank's Funeral, and it's in the Sunday Mirror so when I get that later I'll scan it and put it up on here lool.
'Av a Butcher's at who's back
It's all set to kick-off in the Square as the Butcher kids return to the manor to bury wheeler-dealer dad Frank.
Killer Janine, dopey Ricky and trendy Diane give "Walford royalty" Frank a right Cockney send-off with horsedrawn carriage. But an insider revealed: "Tempers flare - the family has grudges."
Janine (Charlie Brooks) mourns wearing a "titfer" that could have been left in Frank's will.
And Ricky, played by Sid Owen, stays on in the soap for more drama with former wife Bianca (Patsy Palmer) and Frank's ex Pat (Pam St Clement).
Mike Reid, who played Frank, died from a heart attack aged 67 in Spain last July.

Janine Butcher returns to EastEnders
She was last seen fleeing Walford after her dramatic murder trial collapsed. But now EastEnders bad girl Janine is back and in black... for the funeral of her dad Frank Butcher.
Actress Charlie Brooks, 26, joined former Albert Square regulars Sid Owen (as her brother Ricky) and Patsy Palmer (his ex-wife Bianca) to film loveable rogue Frank's East End funeral. Actor Mike Reid died last July.
Janine fled the Square in 2005 - and hadn't been seen since.
Dressed in a chic black suit and trilby, Charlie said she was "honoured" to be asked back to Walford for the one-off tribute episode to be screened in April.

Babyfather star Don Gilet is to play Chelsea Fox's (Tiana Benjamin) long-lost father in EastEnders.
The actor, who also appeared in 55 Degrees North, stars as ne'er-do-well Lucas Johnson, who turns up in Walford after Easter to find the daughter he walked out on when she was a baby.
However, Chelsea had hoped that her dad might be a wealthy businessman and his arrival proves to be a major disappointment.
A show source told The Mirror: "Lucas is attractive, charismatic, strong and forthright but that isn't enough for Chelsea.
"Having never met her dad, who walked out on mum Denise when she was a baby, she's always imagined him as a flash businessman. But actually, he's just a dodgy geezer with a murky past."
Diane Parish (Denise) will return later in the year after giving birth to her second daughter.
BBC Official EE Site article:
Chelsea's long-lost father, Lucas Johnson, is to turn up in Walford in the spring. He'll be played by Babyfather actor, Don Gilet.
Chelsea has never met her father, and Denise hasn't given away much about him. When her dad comes back into her life, Chelsea's thrilled to have the chance to get to know him, but will she like what she finds?
Don Gilet, who will take the role, appeared as Leo Charles in The Line of Beauty , Nicky Cole in 55 Degrees North and Johnny Lindo in BBC2 drama Babyfather.

EastEnders stars were busy celebrating last night after Daily Star readers hailed their show Britain’s best soap.
Walford legend Barbara Windsor, who plays Queen Vic landlady Peggy Mitchell, accepted the award on behalf of the cast.
And the star said it topped off an impressive year for the BBC’s flagship show after the Christmas Day episode, which pulled in 14.3million viewers, was crowned best show of 2007.
Barbara, 70, cheered: “This is fantastic news and everyone is so thrilled that the Daily Star’s readers are enjoying what we do.”
And she admitted the success is all down to team spirit off screen as well as on, adding: “We just have the most amazing atmosphere back stage at the moment.
“There’s a real unity and I think that has a lot to do with our new boss, Diederick Santer.
“He’s stabilised the show and there have been no upsets as everyone is pulling together as a team – both on and off screen.
“We don’t do comedy like our rivals on Corrie or Emmerdale and we do take a bit of stick for being a bit depressing. But the fact is that what we do is real life.
“It’s gritty stuff and you only have to pick up the papers to see that there are some hard times being had at the moment.”
Barbara had even more reason to celebrate as her on-screen niece Samantha Janus, 35, won best newcomer for her role as Ronnie Mitchell.
And hunk Rob Kazinsky admitted he was also feeling pretty pleased with himself as readers voted him both best actor and sexiest male.
Rob, 24, laughed: “This has made me slightly smug, I have to say.
“I think there are others more deserving of this, especially Jake Wood, who I have learned so much from. And while he’s still acting, I don’t deserve this award.
“But it is wonderful and I am honoured that people voted for me.”
Corrie also walked away with an armful of gongs as former pop babe Kym Ryder, 31, was named best actress for her role as Michelle Connor.
She told us: “Thanks to everyone who voted for me, I’m absolutely delighted.
“Big up, the Daily Star!”
Alison King, 34, who plays Carla Connor, picked up best bitch, while Street troublemaker David Platt – played by Jack P Shepherd, 20, won best bad boy.
Alison laughed: “I’d like to thank all the Daily Star readers for voting for me.
“I love playing Carla. It’s great to play such a feisty, fun character. She has had her fair share of bitchy moments and I’m sure there’s more to come.”
Over in the Dales, Roxanne Pallett, 25, proved she is the best babe in the business as she took home the sexiest female award.
Roxanne told us: “A huge thank you to all the Daily Star readers, I’m really flattered to be voted as the Sexiest Female because I just don’t see myself as being sexy at all, so this is a huge compliment to start the new year off... thank you!”
And the Dingle clan scooped up the best family award for the second year in a row.
Collecting the gong for the clan, James Hooton, 34, who plays Sam, said: “On behalf of the Dingle family I’d like to say a huge thank you to all the Daily Star readers who voted for us.
“We always say that it’s the best soap family to be part of and we do have a brilliant time working together.
“It’s great to get some recognition and there will be a load in store for the Dingles in 2008.”
AND THE WINNERS ARE...
BEST SOAP - EastEnders
BEST ACTOR - Rob Kazinsky (EastEnders)
BEST ACTRESS - Kym Ryder (Corrie)
BEST BITCH - Alison King (Corrie)
BEST BAD BOY - Jack P Shepherd (Corrie)
SEXIEST FEMALE - Roxanne Pallett (Emmerdale)
SEXIEST MALE - Rob Kazinsky (EastEnders)
BEST NEWCOMER - Samantha Janus (EastEnders)
BEST FAMILY - Dingles (Emmerdale)

CHEATED Tanya Branning will shock East-Enders fans by burying ALIVE hubby Max.
The mum of three, played by actress Jo Joyner, takes revenge — in an stunning storyline — for the love-rat bedding his daughter-in-law.
Weeks of scheming will culminate in Tanya seducing Max and then drugging him — before placing him in a coffin and burying it in woods.
Bosses of the BBC soap are certain to come under fire for showing the scenes, which will go out at Easter, before the 9pm watershed.
Lovers ... Max bedded son's girl, Stacey
The moment Max (Jake Wood) had his affair with Stacey (Lacey Turner) uncovered attracted 14 million viewers on Christmas Day — the highest ratings of 2007.
A BBC source added: “Viewers will have to wait to find out whether Max lives or dies.”
The couple’s relationship will nosedive as they battle over custody of their children.
Jo, 29, said: “Tanya is worried Max could take the kids.
“He’s capable of being nasty to get what he wants. He disgusts Tanya, she doesn’t want him back — and feels he is out to hurt her because of that.”
Max is appalled when Tanya’s drug-addict sister Rainey moves in with his family — and he reports his wife to social services.
He claims the kids — Abi, Lauren and baby Oscar — are at risk from dirty needles.
Meanwhile, Stacey tries to rebuild her shattered marriage to Max’s son Bradley

I loved how you said that Mark, and I feel sorry for her too.
LOVEABLE widower Charlie Slater looks set for some saucy action after Mo Harris puts an advert in the local paper’s lonely-hearts column.
Scheming Big Mo decides it’s about time Charlie found someone to spend his retirement years with.
And she thinks the best way to help him is to go behind his back and put an advert in the Walford Gazette.
But sadly for the meddling mother-in-law things don’t exactly go to plan.
And poor old Charlie is nowhere nearer to finding a companion than he was before her efforts.
An EastEnders insider said: “Let’s just say that none of the candidates that Big Mo lines up are suitable.
“She tries her best and her heart is in the right place.
“But things just don’t work out as she’d planned. One of the lonely hearts turns out to be a rather saucy granny.
“Charlie sees the funny side of it all and it makes him realise that maybe he could do with a companion.
“He lives for his family but it’s about time he started thinking about himself.
“Mo may not have succeeded in her venture but it leads to a new lease of life for old Charlie.
He’s a popular character and has got some good storylines coming up later this year.”
The mild-mannered cabbie moved into Albert Square with the rest of the Slater clan back in 2000.
And apart from having his eye on landlady Peggy Mitchell when he first arrived he’s had no love interest ever since.
Our insider added: “Charlie’s wife Viv died from a stroke just before the Slater family moved to Walford. It’s taken him a while but he feels he’s finally ready to move on.
“Charlie deserves to find himself a companion in his old age especially after all the grief his girls have given him over the years.
“And they would all be totally behind him going for it.”
Viewers of the hit BBC1 soap will be able to watch the lonely hearts storyline unfold later this month.

The BBC is examining whether to have bigger credits at the end of programmes after complaints that the names of cast and crew were too small to read.
The BBC's current system, brought in last year, scrunches the credits into a box in the corner of the screen to accommodate promotional messages.
"Some people have said that the font is too small to read," a statement from the corporation said.
It added: "We are currently looking to enlarge it."
But the BBC said most viewers "make viewing choices while credits roll and value some information on the relevant viewing options available to them across the BBC portfolio".

STACEY Branning ends up in hospital after she downs a cocktail of drugs and booze.
Medics realise Stacey has had more than alcohol and quiz her brother Sean Slater (Rob Kazinsky, 24) on what drugs she may have taken.
Stacey (Lacey Turner, 19) has hit rock bottom as she struggles to cope with the breakdown of her marriage to Bradley.
Her mum tries to get her to open up by suggesting a girlie night in with board games and food.
But the market stall babe hits out, screaming: “I’m a 19-year-old screw-up and when I need cheering up I don’t play flipping board games – I just go out and get even drunker and more wasted than I am already.”
She takes it too far when she knocks back drugs on top of vodka, which causes her to collapse in front of shocked club-goers.
Later, Stacey discharges herself from hospital as her near-fatal booze bender sparks her into action and she decides to track down Bradley (Charlie Clements, 20) and convince him to give their relationship another chance.
She finds his new address and leaves him tickets to a Doctor Who convention and instructions about where to meet her.
But her dream of a happy reunion may not go as smoothly as she had hoped because Bradley has his own plans for the future.
And fans will have to tune in next week to find out what he has in store

Apparently, Bradley hands Stacey a note when he sees her, and it's got something in there which says what his plans are for the future (whether he's staying with her or not) so that'll be good viewing.
I Think She Will Do Too Knowing Shirl

:D some fantastic news is coming to the square!
[spoil]Rickaaay and Bianca are back!
[RICKY and Bianca are back in Albert Square! But is there still a spark between the estranged twosome?
They certainly look happy to see each other from the look of this pic - which is the first snap of the cockney sparrers on their homecoming trip to Albert Square.
The stormy soap couple, played by Sid Owen and Patsy Palmer, married in 1997 before it all went wrong for them. Patsy left the show in 1999 and Sid in 2000, reuniting for a one-off special in 2002.
But they aren’t likely to be rekindling any romance this time around – Ricky is moving back with his fiancee, and Bianca is a struggling single mum with a brood of kids from various different dads.
Not that that will necessarily stop them – this is EastEnders, after all!

wow Thanks DT For That I'm Gonna Look Foreward To This One Cheers Mate

Yes It Should Be Good Tonight and I Wander If Heather Will Get Us Laughing Tonight As She Did Tues :laugh2:
Now To Me That Was Awful What Deano Did To His Mum He's Really Turned Out A Tough Guy Or What and What About Max Then Taking The Baby Off Clare Then and Heather Has Now Moved In With Gary And Minty and Stacey Being Awful Towards Her Mum Too All Over Her Top hmm
Callum
07-02-2008, 07:35 PM
I HATED Deano tonight. I'm so glad he's gone. He treated his mum like shxt, and I thought it was awful. & that prostitue was so ugly. Poor Stacey as well, she's not having a good time at the moment really is she. But that Deano's attitude stunk, I'll be glad to see the back of him. Overall, was a good episode tonight.
It was quite violent tonight, no doubt they'll be complaints to Ofcom
Billy
07-02-2008, 07:42 PM
Clares acting was awful tonight IMO which is sad as shes normally brill!
Callum
07-02-2008, 07:47 PM
Clare is getting a bit too big for her boots, thinking she's the queen of the Square on her 3rd day back isn't a good move, but nevertheless she's still great!

07-02-2008, 07:48 PM
thort claire was good tonite. her new hair looks GREEEEEEEEEEEEEET!!!!
Yes I Agree With You On That One Callum Shes Begining To Get Very Naughty and Yet She Wasn't Like That Before She Used To Behave Herself As A Little Girl
Callum
07-02-2008, 08:37 PM
Jean was a good laugh tonight as well. She's becoming a fantastic character and it's great to see more of her!
Yes She's A Cool Charactor Too I Do Love How She Gets On With Everyone Too
Callum
07-02-2008, 09:34 PM

08-02-2008, 07:33 PM
Oh my god! I loved that episode, it was fab. Stacey collapsed too. I loved Heather's dancing as well. Shirl & Stacey were becoming good friends too. 10/10 without a doubt.

08-02-2008, 07:38 PM
Awww poor Stacey, really good episode though.
Yes That Was A Fab Episode Of EE Tonight I Loved It All Too 10/10
But I Felt Sorry For Staceys Mum Too Bless Her Heart She Was Only Looking Out For Her Daughter And Staceys Shouted At Her But I Did Love Heather Too She Is So Funny :flowers:
Callum
08-02-2008, 08:59 PM
That's very true Ann, Jean was only looking out for her and Stacey threw it right back at her.
and It Wasn't Fair Either Plus I Think Shirl Should Have Said What Deano Did To Her When Phil Was Chatting With Her
Callum
08-02-2008, 09:11 PM
I think she should have too. Phil would have helped her out too.
Yes He Would Have Too As That Was Very Nasty What He Did Last night :laugh3:
Callum
08-02-2008, 10:06 PM
It was way out of order too. I'm glad he's gone to be honest. He couldn't act very well really and last night I hated the way he treated Shirl, there was no need of him to be like that.
Exactly My Point Of View Too Callum and I Didn't Like How He Treated Chelsea Either:hug:
Callum
08-02-2008, 10:16 PM
Yeah, I didn't like that either. Afterall, he can't blame Chelsea for getting locked up, he's responsible for his own actions and he was the one who gave false evidence.
That Was So True Callum But I Shall Be Glad When Janine Comes Back Too I Wander If She Is Different To Last Time Too :colour:
Callum
08-02-2008, 10:24 PM
I can't wait for Janine to come back! She's one of my favourite EE characters ever, she's such a bxtch, but that makes her who she is lol. I can't wait for the whole funeral episodes, because there's going to be a few characters returning.
Yes And Thats Gonna Bring The Ratings Right Up Too Have You Noticed How Pat Hasn't Been In It For A While Too :cheer2:
Callum
08-02-2008, 10:30 PM
Yes it is too, I agree. As I know a lot of people used to watch EE mainly for Janine. I've noticed that myself and it's a shame too because Pat is a fab character, I love how she wears all bright clothing and she always wears make up.
Yes She Doe's Too But I Think She Will Be At That Funeral :spin:
Callum
08-02-2008, 10:34 PM
Yeah, I bet she will be too and she used to like Janine didn't she. I remember Pat used to be very close to Barry, Natalie & Janine.
Yes Thats very True :laugh2:
