Stacey's baby was so cute and I loved how she got Julia's theme too. Loved the Tanya scenes, was so nice to see her back, she looked great and I can't wait until she's back full time. Abi has really grown up, I realised tonight just how much taller she's gotten and I can't believe Max didn't go mad over her drinking.

One thing that made me laugh tonight was Dot rushing to the hospital with the Slaters, she is such a busy body and you would have thought it would be only close family on the first night but Dot had to be there. Bless her. :)

Christian, meanwhile, realises that Syed lied to make sure Christian got the highest amount for his shares. Syed neither confirms nor denies this, but Christian is touched.


Tuesday 13 July
7.30-8.00pm BBC ONE
Patrick is throwing flowers into the canal where Denise's body was found and takes his hat off in respect, in tonight's visit to Walford. Meanwhile, Lucas is at the Masoods' telling them about the devastating news.

Elsewhere, Syed is in his therapist's office telling him how his techniques have not worked and that he still has feelings for Christian. Syed is desperate not to feel this way but the therapist tells him it may take years for things to change.


Thursday 15 July
7.30-8.00pm BBC ONE
Masood wants to have breakfast with Syed, knowing he is embarrassed about the previous day's events, in the penultimate visit of the week to Walford. Syed explains he just had a bad day in therapy, but comments that his parents are to blame for his problems.

Peggy, meanwhile, gathers everyone together for Ben's party. However, when he arrives complete with a new haircut, in a bid to look tougher, everyone bursts out laughing.


Friday 16 July

Syed sees Christian across the Square and approaches him, saying he does not want to pretend to be someone else any more, in the week's final visit to Albert Square. However, Christian is still hurt and he dismisses Syed.

Phil is sitting in the kitchen; neither he nor Shirley has slept. Later, in the Square, Heather tries to comfort Shirley about Ben, but Shirley shuns her.



I only noticed through reading them spoilers that we haven't seen the Masoods in weeks. Funny how I didn't really notice. I don't think it would make much of an impact if they left in all honesty.

I think Bryan Kirkwood has improved the show, he's got slated a lot by fellow EE fans but personally I think he's done a good job so far, the show feels much more community based. Sam Mitchell will reportedly be pregnant when she returns to EastEnders later this year.

The character, played by Danniella Westbrook, will allegedly claim that the baby is Ricky Butcher's (Sid Owen), although it could also be Jack Branning's (Scott Maslen).

A source told the Daily Star Sunday: "When Sam went to prison she told her family, including her mum Peggy, that she wanted nothing more to do with them.

"Viewers know nothing about her life inside so imagine the shock they’ll get when they see her heavily pregnant. She’s made some comebacks but this one will definitely be the best.

"She tells her family that the child is Ricky’s, causing all sorts of problems for him and wife Bianca. The two women absolutely detest each other, so viewers can expect fireworks. And the fact that she’s pregnant means Sam can say whatever she wants. She knows there is absolutely nothing Bianca can do about it

"If the baby is Jack’s, it could quite easily mean the end of his relationship with Ronnie. But just because Sam is leaving the Square, it doesn’t necessarily mean that she’ll take the baby with her. She’s not exactly the most maternal of characters."

RE Stacey's exit i've been thinking how it could happen and I think that Stacey unable to copes with the guilt confesses to Ronnie that she killed Archie with both Roxy and Janine overhearing somehow.

Roxy is angry but in a predicament whether to call the cops because of Sean and he would never forgive her if she did that even though Archie is her dad so decides not to.. then Janine spitefully calls the cops so she can try and get Ryan back who then realises he is Lily's dad (if it isn't revealed by then)

Stacey then finds out from Ronnie that someone overheard her and soon gossip is rife around the square then Max hears and helps Stacey, Jean and Lily to pack their things with the help of the Slaters to run and before Stacey goes she works out that Becca called the cops on Bradley so slaps Becca and they manage to get away before Ryan rushes to try and stop her and the cops come to the sound of Julia's theme:D.

Aye, behind the scenes, Corrie and all the other soaps are probably friendly with each other (you always see the stars mixing), I think the collabaration for Florizel Street is great, ITV and BBC working on a project together, and with Jessica Wallace there it just further signifies that this isnt just the anniversary of Corrie, this is the anniversary of the modern day soap

Every year there is always rumours of peggey will die in a fire in the VIC and the ONE year i don't believe it, it turns out to be true lol.

EastEnders returnees Kat and Alfie Moon will regain Walford's local watering hole The Queen Victoria on their return to the Square.

The show favourites - played by Jessie Wallace and Shane Richie - are expected to make their screen comeback at around the time of the Queen Vic fire.

According to The Mirror, the deliberate blaze - which is also thought to tie in with Barbara Windsor's departure from the soap as Peggy Mitchell - leaves the pub as nothing more than a mere shell and Alfie's first order of business is to rebuild the place from the ground up.

Kat, meanwhile, allegedly reprises her role behind the bar as landlady.

A show source said: "Alfie has big plans for the pub. He managed it for The Duchess for a while when he first arrived in Walford - so he'll soon be back where he belongs with Kat by his side."

They added: "Even though the fire completely guts the place, the bronze bust is one of the only items to survive - it'll still be in pride of place when The Vic reopens."

Show bosses are remaining tight-lipped about their return but a spokesperson said: "We're looking forward to the return of Kat and Alfie later this year."

Kat and Alfie were last seen in Walford on Christmas Day 2005 when they drove off into the sunset together in their Ford Capri bound for America.

Wallace is currently filming in Manchester for BBC Four's docu-drama based on Coronation Street's 'origins'.

Yeah that's a bit of a shame because I liked their relationship back in 2005 and she seemed like a mother figure to Stacey. She certainly looked up to Kat (i.e. wearing leapord print clothes like Kat) and I would have liked to have seen scenes with them two. I'm just glad she's coming back, I've really missed her and Alfie. She will look really different skinny though.

Great episode tonight, the Lucas and Denise scenes were a bit dragging towards the end, they felt like they were going on forever but I really liked Phil and Ian doing karaoke together, that was funny. I hope Denise isn't dead, I can't see her being killed off as Kim is returning but you just never know in EastEnders.

The Ronnie and Jack scenes were slightly cringe last night I though. In all honesty, I wouldn't be surprised or sad to learn that Ronnie is one of the victims in the fire or leaves soon after because her character is getting stale. Where as Roxy has all her businesses and is generally a more likeable character, Ronnie is a cold, bitter woman who although is not half as bad as she used to be, she will never have lots of friends on the Square.

Loved the Bianca scenes and Ricky reading the Princess Bossy Boots story out to the kids in the caravan, all she wanted was him to stand up to her more.. then she rushed them out so her and Rickaayy could have some private time together;), then the camera cut to the teddy in the window when the curtains closed after Bianca took her boots off:laugh:.

I loved last night's episode. Becca was surprisingly really convincing as the villain. Was nice to see lots of different characters in one episode. Loved how everyone kept popping into the Minute Mart to see Denise.

I'm enjoying the mix of funny moments and seriousness:D, however EE can't never be beaten when it comes to the drama.
