They can't, because the actor who plays him (John Bardon) has suffered a stroke in real life.

Fantastic episode tonight 10/10
Billy shouldn't have smashed open that charity thing though, I didn't like how he did that. I loved how their was music being played when Jack & Phil were playing pool, and how they showed more of Phil which I thought was good because he's a wicked actor. Bless Tanya, she was great tonight also! So there's a new Branning; Oscar Branning.
XxShortyxX
13-12-2007, 08:09 PM
Lmao at Abby with Tanya
Poor Billy, why didn't he just smack Ian in the gob.
Jackie
13-12-2007, 08:19 PM
Tonights was quite boring apart from Tanyas waters breaking:tongue:
I loved it tonight as it was very good but like callum said that Billy shouldn't have took that charity thing but as we saw he soon realised what he did wrong but i loved it when Phil and Jack was playing that pool in the club and then tanya going into labour too lmao to Abi helping her mum
Yes I Wander What Is Happening Tonight Then I Hope That Tanya Is Having That Baby Even Though I Think Max Should Pay For What He's Done And I wander If Philwill get rid of Jack Too hmmm

Yes, Tanya gives birth tonight and it's a baby boy called Oscar. I hope there's more of Phil tonight, because I think it was great last night and I wonder who'll win that pool game. I hope there's some more of Yolande and Dot tonight because I'm loving that whole storyline, tis funny. Hopefully there'll also be some more of Heather Trott as well.

Here's some spoilers for early January:
Monday 14 Jan
The club hosts a corporate party strictly for professionals, in tonight's visit to Albert Square. Dawn, Jase and Garry are working at the event, but Shabnam manages to get an invitation.
Dawn later has a decision to make when both Garry and Jase make a move on her.
Tuesday 15 Jan
Billy and Honey make a mess while staying at Pat's, and Billy's attempts to mend the situation just make matters worse, in tonight's visit to Albert Square.
Meanwhile, Dawn is in a quandary. Who should she choose – Garry or Jase?
Thursday 17 Jan
Dawn and Jase spend their first full night together, but Dawn takes things a bit too quickly, in tonight's visit to Walford.
Meanwhile, it's Masood's silver wedding anniversary but Masood hasn't planned anything. He hastily books a table at a restaurant and buys a last-minute gift, but his haste is sure to backfire.
Friday 18 Jan
Jay has a new set of undesirable friends, in the last of this week's visits to Albert Square.
Meanwhile, Dot lives in fear when the gang starts to swarm outside her house.
Elsewhere, Dawn makes Jase and Jay's flat homely. It's also the day of Phil's birthday and Jack and Phil are at loggerheads. Jack gets one over on Phil when he tells all those gathered about buying the Car Lot.
There's some more good news too; Raine Cross (Tanya Branning's sister) the one who was hooked on drugs that time, is coming back to Walford in 2 weeks time. I can't wait, I loved Raine.
Yes Callum I hope we do see alot more of Dot And Heather too they play a cool part for EE and I Hope Max takes care of that baby too and help look after him I hope the baby dont turn out like its dad :laugh:and I hope phil is on alot too tonight I love how he takes control of everyone

OMFG! My favorite EE ending to an episode ever, I think. I just loved how all the Mitchell's went "Tinker, Tailor, Soilder, Sailor, Rich Man, Poor Man and then Peggy shouted 'THIEF!' and said all about Billy, lmfao that was legendary. Go Peggy!
yes that was a 10/10 i loved how peggy got Billy there yes and poor Jane bless her heart it was a great episode tonight though i loved everybit and our Dot did perfect too
XxShortyxX
17-12-2007, 08:40 PM

Peggy should of took billie aside and told him on his own.
Callum
17-12-2007, 09:07 PM
Yeah, she should have. But it's just typical Peggy to do something like that

supernoodles!
17-12-2007, 10:37 PM
ive just watched it!Abi was hilarious again lol best soap child actor atm for deffo.Peggy was a nasty cow doing that to Billy, yes he stole the money but isnt she forgetting about the dosh she scrounged of ronnie then lied to Phil and kept him in the dark about. There was no need for her to do that infront of everyone
Tom4784
18-12-2007, 04:10 PM
Ian's annoying me, isn't he forgetting that Jane basically got shot because of him? Steven was all happy and loving it when he was about to shoot himself but Ian pulled the guna away from him and at Jane! warped logic i know but I sympathise with Steven.
Peggy was legendary, great ending I thought.
supernoodles!
18-12-2007, 04:52 PM
Ian is a dick thought so what do you expect,i agree though and its not stevens fault his nutty
Callum
18-12-2007, 04:53 PM
I'm getting fed up of that whole Ian/Stephen storyline, it's gone on for much too long and it's getting in the way of potential good storylines as well.
Yes I totally agree with you there Callum it is dragging on too much and it's getting very boring too I think they should leave that now and carry on with the new stuff that's coming on EE but i'm still laughing at what peggy did last night :laugh2:
I bet it's gonna be good as usual tonight I wander if anyone will help poor Billy and Honey i'm feeling so sorry for those two and their lovely babies

Last night's episode was apsolutely fantastic. I felt for poor Tanya though, she didn't need that when they had just had a baby son, I loved how she slapped Stacey though. Poor Bradley as well, he was really hurt over it all, good on Jack though for actually getting through to him, I thought he did an ace job. Can't wait for tonight's episode!

Bradley and Max annoy me, both characters are boring and the actors are bad (Bradley's actor overacts and Max's can only do one expression, kinda like keanu reeves).
I'm on Stacey's side, technically the affair has nothing to do with Bradley, she wasn't with him at the time. I must point out about the baby thing, didn't Bradley encourage her to have an abortion for the sake of his career? Why is he taking the moral highground with her when he said something like 'you killed our baby, our only baby is gon' or something like that. When he threw her out I found really annoying, if you're gonna throw soemone out like that have some conviction!
Tanya kicked ass yesterday and today, i feel for her. I think she should get with Sean and make him a tolerable character.

yeah hollyoaks is great at doing the serious stuff like hannahs eating disorder and also stuff like becca and justins affair, claires plot to kill and rob max, craig and jps gay storyline but sometimes i find some of it cringey to watch, like when they try and do comedy. For example tonight ob and chris`s fight-it was embarrassing
Hollyoaks is the serious one where they can't act that is more real to life than the rest
Eastenders is the serious one where they can act but is a bit unrealistic
Corrie is the funny one
Emmerdale is just the boring one.

Hollyoaks- Some of them can act.
EE- Defo the best Soap, all of the cast can act, it isn't that unrealstic, most storylines they do they always reserch to get it right, and has it's funny moments.
Emmerdale- not my cup of tea at all.
Corrie, boring, unfunny and OTT.

ee has everything, they can actually do sad storylines and make you feel for the person or people in question, corrie can never do that.Emmerdale has hatefull horrible characters and lots of them cant act, they also have boring storylines most of the time and its never funny.Hollyoaks is good when they have a good storyling going but when theres nothing big going on i find it boring.

Last night's episode was ace. Poor Kevin though, it was really freaky when he was in the car talking to Shirley, he voice sounded scary, LOL. That Dawn is getting on my nerves though, she always leaves her baby with friends, it's appauling, she needs to get her act together, before she makes a right show of herself.

SPOILER for upcoming storyline ;;
EASTENDERS is to screen one of its most shocking storylines ever – when teenager Jay Brown is brutally stabbed by a gang of hoodies.
The mouthy 13-year-old is left fighting for life after thugs start to terrorise Albert Square.
Over the coming weeks, the gang will begin to target Walford stalwart Dot Cotton.
According to a show insider, their behaviour becomes increasingly aggressive and Jay – played by Jamie Borthwick, 14 – joins up.
But the tearaway ends up a victim, with the audience worrying if he will pull through.
Although the BBC1 soap has featured stabbings before, the attack on Jay will be the first teenage gang-related attack.
News of the storyline comes just days after another teenager was stabbed to death in London as a result of gang violence.
The show insider said: “This is easily one of the most shocking and controversial storylines EastEnders has ever done. It is not a decision bosses have taken lightly, but it is an issue that is top of the news agenda.
“We’re going to tread very carefully – it won’t be gratuitous. The plan is to screen the episodes in the usual slots before the watershed.
“Hopefully by showing the suffering gang violence can cause, some people may think twice about getting involved.”

Jane Beale upcoming storyline spoiler ;;
Jane's furious after Ian goes behind her back to arrange an unexpected family reunion......
While the Beale clan may have been the main source of Jane's heartache in recent months, this week it's one of her own relatives who's bringing bother for the put-upon cafe worker. Skeletons are set to come spilling out of Jane's closet as her estranged brother, Christian Clarke, is invited to the Square by Ian -but it's a decision Jane's hubby may soon regret.....
"Christian is gay, he's sent Jane an invite to his civil partnership ceremony," explains John Partridge, who plays the newcomer. "Ian later finds the invitation in the bin, and when he asks his wife about it, she tells him that she and Christian don't get on - in fact, they haven't even seen one another for over four years now. Jane's adamant that she won't be going to his wedding, but Ian has other ideas!"
The Walford catering king wastes no time in meddling and, in a bid to help the siblings mend their relationship, decides to ask Christian if he'd like to go out for a meal with the Beale's. Jane's fuming when she finds out, but eventually agrees to have dinner at Fargo's. While Ian remains foolishly optimistic as Christian arrives with his husband to be, Ashley, it's not long before dirty laundry is being aired.
"Basically, Christian ruined Jane's wedding to her first husband, David. He turned the ceremony into an impromptu gay protest, deciding to come out to everyone on the day and bringing along an army of his gay mates," sighs John. "It was more a way of getting at his and Jane's mother, Linda, but obviously the bride got caught in the crossfire. Although Christian then moved to Manchester, he's now preparing to get married and has decided that he wants his sister there. He wants to build bridges, if possible.
"He has a few too many drinks with his dinner, though," continues the actor. "And that's when he reveals to Jane that there's only two people he's ever loved in his life - one is her, and the other was David! He says this right in front of Ashley, which, as you can imagine, deals a pretty fatal blow to their relationship......"
Unsurprisingly, it's soon all over for Christian and Ashley, which prompts Christian to return to Walford the following day, in need of a place to stay. "He has nothing at all to his name - he turns up on Jane's doorstep completely broke," shares John. "That's a pretty shabby state of affairs for a man in his mid-30's, but he has nowhere else to go."
Despite Ian's apparent open-mindedness at the previous nights dinner, the idea of having a gay man under his roof doesn't go down too well. And relishing her husband's horror, Jane invites her brother to stay simply to wind him up! But while Ian's mortified about Christian's extended visit, John couldn't be happier to be sticking around in Albert Square.
"Being here is fabulous, strange, exciting and nerve-racking!" grins the actor, who's a graduate of the Royal Ballet. "My family can't believe it, let alone me. EastEnders is my first television job, and it's not the kind of show I ever considered doing. I did musical theatre before this and was quite happy. I was in a West End production last year called The Drowsy Chaperone, and the producers had seen me in that," John adds. "The part of Christian was in their minds, and after watching my performances on stage, I entered their thoughts for this role. I'm very grateful, and I feel humbled."
So, John's clearly delighted - but it's obvious that Ian isn't quite so impressed by his controversial ego.........
"Christian and Ian don't really like each other," admits John. "And Christian is a bit surprised to find out that Jane's married to the owner of a backstreet chip shop and working in his backstreet cafe! He doesn't hate Ian, though. To be honest, the man is inconsequential to him - Christian could crush him with one word! "Having said that, he and Ian could end up forming an unusual bond," he continues. "Ian wants to make money, and in his mind, gay men have the most disposable income. We may see them going into partnership together......"
Brett's pleased
Jane might be put out to have Christian back in her life after all this time, but Laurie Brett - who plays her - is delighted with her screen sibling......
"It's funny because I've known John for years and years," chuckles the actress. "We've passed each other in the night through musical theatre, and have some very good mutual friends, so it was always inevitable that we were going to get on. Life has been quite difficult for Jane of late, and she needed something to lighten her up - her mad brother will be perfect for that!"

 Shocked at this news though -
EASTENDERS heart-throb Rob Kazinsky is quitting the show – to try his luck in Hollywood.
Rob, who plays Albert Square bad boy Sean Slater, has negotiated an early release from his BBC1 contract and been signed by Brad Pitt’s agent, who hopes to get him a big-money role.
But Rob, who has been in the soap since August 2006, will carry on filming until October and remain on our screens for nearly another year.
An insider said: “He’s desperate to be a Hollywood star.
“He’s ambitious, which Americans love, and easy on the eye – the first thing that Hollywood producers look at.”
EastEnders bosses are yet to decide what to do with Rob’s character.
One insider claimed he will not be killed off – so Rob could return.
Our source said: “Sean’s a wildman so it would be reasonable for his character to come and go.”

 and also...
Mohammed George yesterday agreed to leave EastEnders after six years as gormless street sweeper Gus Smith.
His departure "by mutual consent" follows a turbulent year in which he was suspended following a rowdy bust-up outside a diner with his girlfriend.
A bbc spokeswoman said: "As the character did not have any big plots coming up it was agreed Mohammed would leave.
"He is in talks with the BBC about other projects."
Gus was first in Albert Square in 2002 and has spent most of his time hanging around the cafe and working as a cleaner.
Last night an insider said the big question is now who will look after Gus's pet mutt Wellard.
A year ago Mr George was caught on CCTV having a boozy fight with partner Emma Archibald in a Camden street.
The 25-year-old was arrested and later suspended for two months for "bringing the show into disrepute". He eventually received a caution.
