Funny how alot of other members have said 'Utter Fact' and you dont mention a word to them about terrible english but what do you expect from people like you.


And its a fact because this new producer will want to axe and bring in characters, the masoods are only really there for the Gay Storyline and everyone knows all there little 'Mini Storylines' are ****.

Stealing Post was hardly a massive storyline and even there baby failed epicly at becoming noticed.

They arent a big hit, I do like them sometimes but they wont be missed and maybe they will stick around but Amira is going soon and it wont be long before the others do to.

The cast of BBC soap EastEnders have been banned from filming real slaps for fight scenes due to health and safety concerns.

John Partridge revealed the rule on This Morning yesterday as he discussed the slap that feisty Zainab Masood - played by Nina Wadia - gave to his character Christian Clarke as they argued at New Year.

Speaking to the ITV1 show, Partridge explained that he and Wadia had wanted the blow to be real, but show producers said "absolutely not" and instead brought in a stunt co-ordinator to help create "a staged slap".

The actor commented: "I think she might've knocked my teeth out if it was real!"

Responding to Partridge's remarks, a BBC spokesperson told the Daily Mail: "As with most action scenes, we always have a stunt director present to make sure that our scenes look realistic but to ensure that no-one is injured.

"If a scene permits and the actor chooses to do the stunt themselves, it would be carefully choreographed to make sure that no-one is injured during filming."

Partridge's Walford character is currently at the centre of a high-profile gay storyline with Zainab's son Syed (Marc Elliott).



They ought to make their minds up. They said the slaps (and certainly that one) were for real a few weeks back

EastEnders serial killer Lucas Johnson is set to strike again in the coming months.

The twisted preacher, who has already bumped off arch-enemy Owen Wilson and left ex-wife Trina to die (and is also likely to be behind the mysterious disappearance of Sugar the dog), has so far gotten away with it. But scenes to be screened this summer will see the storyline come to a climax.

Though soap fans can breathe a sigh of relief as it won't be a well-loved character that gets bumped off… this time.

On a mission to "save" those in need, Lucas (Don Gilet) drives to a red light district in search of prostitutes. But having found his victim, he drags a girl into the woods and begins preaching to her, saying her job is "dirty" and a "sin in God's eyes". Despite her best efforts to get away, the lass winds up being strangled with Lucas' tie - the same move he used on love-rival Owen.

A soap source told the Daily Star: "Despite being a Christian, Lucas seems happy to kill. How many more will he bump off before he's caught? He could well be the most dangerous killer Walford has ever had."

It's because these are still the episodes they filmed before the Live Episode, we will be catching up with the recent stuff when it's time;). Yeah the doctor is horrible but bring on Ronnie's proposal.

I'm so bored of reading that Bryan Kirkwood is going to turn Eastenders into Hollyoaks:sleep:, whilst he worked at HO BK had to focus on the younger cast where as at EE it is more balanced.

E20 idea was Santer's idea plus the characters he has axed now in charge apart from Liz, Minty and Charlie plus there is Tiana Benjamin who plays Chelsea deciding to leave are all young and the characters he's brought in Kat, Alfie and Vanessa are older characters played by older actors.

I think he'll do a great job, still quite a few links in the there who need to go:).

Just watched it and the reveal episode, Its sad that was Diedrick Santers last EE Reveal and possibly last storyline climax :(

It was acted very well and actually felt as if it was on for an hour :)

I loved how Tamwar said he thought his brother was brave, what a legend.
I know Syed and Christian do get back together at some point though but on the EE Reveal thing at the end it showed a quick clip in Black & White of Christian beind held back by two men and Amira's Dad beating him up :(

EastEnders stars Lacey Turner and Gillian Wright are to bow out of the soap later this year, Digital Spy can confirm.

The pair - who play bipolar-suffering mother-daughter duo Stacey Branning and Jean Slater - will step down from their roles after almost six years, with Turner in particular expressing her desire to pursue other acting opportunities.

The door for a potential return will be firmly left open for Stacey, while Jean's future has yet to be determined.

Storyliners are currently working on dramatic departures for the two characters.

Speaking of her decision to leave, Turner said: "I've had the most fantastic time at EastEnders. Stacey has been such a brilliant role for me to play, as has being part of the feisty Slater family.

"I'm so lucky to have had such challenging storylines, from the affair with Max and being diagnosed with bipolar to the complete shock of being revealed as Archie's killer during the live 25th Anniversary episode."

She added: "I'll miss Stacey and everyone in Albert Square very much but the time has come to try something different."

New executive producer Kirkwood commented: "We'll be very sad to see Lacey Turner leave the show. Lacey is one of the best young actresses on TV at the moment and the fact that she's won 28 awards in the last five years is testament to this.

I'm not happy Stacey is leaving. There was a lot of potential for great storylines with the baby but maybe it is best for her to leave because the character has been very over-exposed. I can't believe the Slater clan is being broken up just when it was being added to with Kat returning

Apparently Lacey renewed her contract one last time last year and never intended on staying longer. She's had to turn down loads of film offers etc. because of EE so it's understandbale she wants a change. I'm sure she'll be in loads of films. It's just sad that she's leaving when Kat is coming back. I thought they would have a mother daughter bond.
