Yeah same, next week's episodes are going to be great, I hope. It's the first really big storyline Bryan Kirkwood has worked on so I hope Peggy does get a memorable exit. I'm hoping that Thursday will be the start of the fire and it will continue in Friday's episode otherwise it's a lot to cram into one 40 min episode.

Peggy's last episode is tomorrow. The theme will most likely be played then seeing as the ep is 40 mins long and straight after is a Peggy Mitchell Revealed special.

Tomorrow's cast list shows a nurse high up on the credits. She must feature prominently tomorrow then or be right at the end of the episode. Either way tomorrow we are going to see hospital scenes.

It was spoiled by the very hammy acting.
Barbara Windsor was much better at the end in the aftermath when she said nothing and just looked devastated but that argument with Phil was awful (even Steve McFadden over acted).
And I held a cushion up over my face when Peggy was screaming fire and ringing the bell and nobody noticed the fire behind the bar. Cringeworthy.
When it all exploded at the bar I expected to see a dummy dwarf fly over the bar with Peggy's wig on like that old woman out of emmerdale. lol

Best soap fire though, it just beat my previous favourite which was the hollyoaks fire at the dog.

Glenda was one. The other is unknown. Sharon Marshall is going to recieve a lot of backlash for her comments, the way she said it was as if we were going to get Grant and someone like Sharon Watts or Chrissie back.

Totally agree, it's like the Lucas finale, Bryan is good at day to day episodes...but not so good at the big ones, where as Deidrick was the opposite

i'd forgotten about Lucas and that storyline, lucas's exit and discovery wasnt that bad, but having Libby say im never leaving you again, then in the next episode her and Chelsea are off to spain and are never to be seen again was a really bad exit

Devon Anderson is to leave EastEnders next month, Digital Spy can exclusively reveal.

Anderson's character Billie Jackson will be killed off after an alcohol-fuelled party to celebrate his birthday.

The 23-year-old reprised the role earlier this year as he returned to Albert Square, having originally portrayed Billie from 1993 to 1997. At the same time, Lindsay Coulson also came back to the soap as his on-screen mother Carol.

"Unaware of the disastrous consequences, Carol is insistent on holding a party for her treasured son Billie," a source confirmed. "At the party, Carol makes a heartfelt speech about how her wayward son has turned his life around since joining the army."

Bianca (Patsy Palmer) will discover her brother's "lifeless body" the following morning, surrounded by the remnants of the night before.

Anderson's exit is the latest under former Hollyoaks executive producer Bryan Kirkwood. The actor was previously dropped from the Channel 4 soap amid reports over poor time-keeping.

DS can also confirm that Howard Antony and Mona Hammond will return to their respective roles as Billie's father Alan and grandmother Blossom. Both last appeared in the soap in 1997. They will reprise their roles for Billie's funeral.
