Yeah because she did have lots of press attention when all the controversy was brewing and the papers alleged she was on the verge of a breakdown.

Some people in RL shouted some abuse at her while she was with her kids apparently not being able to tell fact from fiction:rolleyes:.

Hope she looks nice with the new look:D.

I reckon she'll walk away scott free because, setting her up for another kidnap story is too much, it just screams Freedom

Kat is rumoured to forgive her so maybe her testimony helps Ronnie aboid jail but the judge ordering her to go to a secure psychologist hospital treatment away from Walford for treatment;)..

Michael is a great character, really grown on me. Him and Ronnie had great chemistry, they are both damaged people and could see them working as a couple.

Tyler Moon hasn't made much of an impression on me, it's nice though to have a new character who hasn't got a hidden secret. Didn't really see the point of having Poppy in tonight's episode but I think she's becoming a full time character because she's got promo pics. Tiffany and her friends on their phones was a bit alarming, kids at her age having a mobile phone is rather sad.

I'm a bit confused after tonight's "twist". I missed a few episodes but was Alfie completely unaware that Michael is going out with Roxy? And everyone oblivious that Jack was visiting baby Tommy and buying him gifts? And did Kat and Alfie think Jack was having nothing to do with Ronnie? It was all very complicated at the end.
But I get the feeling the writer's are trying too hard now to make Michael complex. Because they're overdoing it and it's coming off as back and forth writing rather than any character development.

But plus side I've seen a side of the actor that aint all that bad. He could be good.
I bet Rita Simons is quietly grateful that Sam left because she's finally getting a story of her own. Don't think she's had that since Sean left.

Michaels basically playing eveyone. Manipulating them to his advantage.

Kat and Alfie are just annoyed as Jack took Ronnie back after what she did. They forgave that until he got her the best defence money could buy (hence getting slung out)

Kat and Alfie have every right to be angry and after Jack found out he was understandably devestated and furious but when Ronnie explained her state of mind he understood because of what she went through and he obviously still loves her because it's hard to turn feelings off..

The Masood's have spent quite a while in the shadows of the Brannings/Mitchells/Moons/Beales etc who have obviously dominated screentime and that it's a relief to see them at the forefront at the show because they're a interesting family:).

Samantha Womack has claimed that fans will be "surprised" by Ronnie Mitchell's exit from EastEnders.

Viewers will see Womack's character leave Albert Square this week, in a storyline that sees her stand trial for swapping her dead son James for Kat and Alfie Moon's baby Tommy on New Year's Day.

The plot garnered a record number of complaints from outraged EastEnders viewers, but Womack assured Virgin Media that the tragic saga would have the "right ending".

"I think this is the right ending to the storyline and I think the audience will be surprised by some of the things that happened," she said.

"She knows that going to court is the right thing but Ronnie will punish herself more than any custodial sentence."

Womack recently admitted that she had been "crying or screaming every day" during her time on Eastenders after a slew of hard-hitting plots.

She announced her departure from the soap back in January at the peak of the baby-swap controversy.

Eastenders' executive producer Bryan Kirkwood stated this week that he would "love" for Womack to return in the future.

Sounds like she gets off for me and decides to have help away from the Square after being forgiven by Kalfie. Think they will leave the Ronnie/Jack thing open if Sam Womack wants to return at some point in the future once she's had enough breaktime away;)..

Ronnie Exit Spoiler (well, build up)

EastEnders

After months of controversy over the baby swap storyline, Ronnie makes a heartbreaking exit from Walford this week.

Days before appearing in court to hear the verdict, Ronnie is stunned to see Michael make a move on her. Not only is she uncomfortable because he is her sister's partner, she's also worried about what Jack would think. But when she rejects him, Michael is furious and decides to take his revenge by coming up with a nasty plan to set her up.

He sends Ronnie a text from Roxie's mobile asking her to meet in the park. When she gets there, Ronnie doesn't find her sister – instead, she sees little Tommy on his own. It's all part of Michael's evil plan, of course. In the meantime, Michael's also managed to convince Kat and Alfie to head to the park, and they can't believe their eyes when they see their son in the arms of the woman who previously stole their baby. With her verdict looming, is Ronnie now definitely heading to prison?

Kat finds out before the sentencing that Ronnie was telling the truth about Michael and after hearing everything about what Ronnie has gone through in the courtroom decides to forgive her apparently..

I know some people will be against Kat forgiving but that doesn't mean she is not forgetting what happened. Some parents of people who've been killed have forgiven their killers and that takes some strength but this is less of a crime but still broken the law and affected lots of lives..

Poor Ronnie, gonna be a really good watch this week - great twist before the trial very well thought-out EE and definitely grooming Michael into a great villain.

Im all up for Kat forgiving Ronnie. Obviously it was an awful thing to do and unimaginable in a real life scenario.. But knowing Ronnie's background, and Kat grieving for the lost of a child and knowing how it felt, and indeed saying the line 'sometimes I wish it was your baby who died', she must be able to find forgiveness somewhere. Like you said, never forget, but Tommy's back with her now.

Vanessa punches Tanya after discovering the affair with Max:D. I can't stand Tanya, so stuck up and a hypocrite.

SEETHING Vanessa Gold will ATTACK cheating Tanya Jessop in front of son Oscar - after discovering her affair with fiancé Max Branning.

The toddler screams "Mummy!" after Vanessa storms into Tanya's house and punches her in EastEnders.

The pair then roll around on the floor pulling each other's hair and scratching each other as three-year-old Oscar and Tanya's hubby Greg watch on in horror.

An EastEnders insider said: "She hunts Tanya down to her house and forces her way in before attacking her.

"There is nothing like a woman scorned but Tanya doesn't take it lying down. She gives back as good as she gets. It leaves little Oscar in a right state." Viewers have seen Max (Jake Wood) start an affair with his ex-wife Tanya (Jo Joyner).

They started meeting up for sex sessions behind the backs of Tanya's new hubby Greg and Max's fiancée Vanessa following a passionate hospital romp on Tanya's wedding day.

They even got down and dirty at Max's engagement party as his wife-to-be (Zoe Lucker) was DOWNSTAIRS. In scenes due to be screened later this summer, Tanya will end the affair after Max's brother Jack (Scott Maslen) finds out about it - but Max tells Vanessa everything and dumps her.

Vanessa then storms out of their home and races round to Tanya's. The insider said: "The fight will be as explosive as Tanya and Max's recent sex scenes.".

Mandy Salter return storyline revealed...

WILD child Mandy Salter will make her EastEnders comeback in her underwear - as she returns as a STRIPPER.
Teenage runaway Mandy - Sam Mitchell's best friend - left Albert Square some 17 years ago.

But despite now being in her mid-30s, the former wild child has turned into even MORE of a bad girl, TV Biz can reveal.

Ian Beale discovers Mandy working in a lap dancing club.

The unlucky-in-love businessman - who will resort to kerb-crawling in a future storyline - is stunned to see Mandy gyrating around a pole.

Realising she is in trouble, he vows to help her get back on her feet.

Nicola Stapleton, who plays Mandy, has spent her first week of filming scantily clad.

A source said: "Nicola doesn't look like she has aged since she left. She looks amazing.

"She found it a bit strange to film her first scenes in underwear and bikinis but she joked that she might as well 'jump straight back in'."

Mandy left the soap in 1994 a few weeks after her boyfriend Aidan Brosnan, played by Sean Maguire, went back to Ireland.

Since then, actress Nicola, 36, has appeared in Bad Girls, The Bill and Casualty, as well as Emmerdale and Hollyoaks.

Announcing her return to Albert Square, an EastEnders spokesman said: "Mandy's grown up a bit but she's still fun, chaotic and wild - with a spiteful streak. She is a manipulative force of nature, so it's likely that she'll be causing trouble for at least one of Walford's residents."

Insiders say Mandy - whose exes include Ricky Butcher, who she bedded in a one-night stand - is set to get her nails into the men of the square.

Nicola has previously claimed that she has been asked to return several times before but never felt ready..

Sounds fun:D. Nicola is a fab actress too:).

Tyler is like a character you would see in Hollyoaks and I can't see his character developing much. The other one has only appeared in one episode so can't really judge yet but he doesn't seem up to much neither. At the moment they both seem to be just eye candy for the female viewers of EE. Apparently there's going to be a Downs Syndrone Moon brother too. Nice idea but I just feel there's too many Moons when families like the Beales are neglected.

Agreed about Lola Joe, she's made an impact and is meant to be dislikeable for now but they'll tone it down. At least Billy is getting more screentime but Perry Fenwick is really underrated in the show.

Patrick and Denise need more screentime/storylines.

Once this Yusef plot is over I hope they use Zainab in more lighter storylines because even though it's great to see Nina Wadia at the front of the show she's an amazing comedy actress and I find her funny than most of the Corrie cast, even though she can't be happy on EastEnders:p.

It's probably a last ditch attempt at trying to make Tanya forgivable because she's been a disgusting bitch since the actress came back last year.

One thing I didn't get, how did Lauren and Abbey get over to the other house when Vanessa first went of, didn't show them entering or anything did it? :S

Marsh.

Can't believe they've axed Zoe Lucker. And it's Brian Kirkwood's own character too.
She's brilliant when they actually give her things to do other than sit and watch TV. Little OTT but still great.

That bloke off Dancing on Ice was shocking though. Is he gone for good?

Lauren and Abi chucking Max out of his own house was quite bizarre too.

Yes, Greg has gone for good, never liked him personally, he was too wooden. :D I'm pleased Cora and Rainie are staying though, both have grown on me in the past couple of weeks. I was initially unsure of them bringing in Tanya's family but I think it's paid off, I'm a fan.

looking forward to seeing Zoe Lucker come to the forefront of the show next week, her character has been so underused.

So Greg doesn't come back?! That's a bit ridiculous, considering its his bloody house! And what about all his belongings, clothes etc..?? And his business...

The sooner Eastenders gets a new producer the better, it is farcical...

The house is sold to Janine and Tanya moves into Max's house. I think they want us to believe all of the other stuff happened off screen.

Greg was just a plot device for the producers to get Tanya and Max to get back together, they're meant to be the new Den and Angie according to them:sleep:.

Greg is a nice person but in Walford they always come off last. I feel for Vanessa too. Tanya is such a hypocrite, stuck up caah:joker:.

How stupid! Such lazy writing & taking the viewers for complete mugs...

Even Tanya having an affair with Max in the first place was absolutely pathetic, I mean as if she would in real life, after everything?! But to have Greg bugger off within minutes of finding out & then never returning etc.. is just, well words fail me actually...

So are we getting Tanya in the limelight over Whitney's story? Looks like that way from the mags, would've thought it would be quite big seen as it was on comic relief or whatever

Bore of Max and Tanya now :bored:

Oh Come On!

We've only had a few weeks of Max and Tanya, and you're all bored?

Would you rather of had the ******ing Masoods being centre of the show for 4 Months again? FFS.

I never mind when Max and Tanya are at the forefront because both are played by great actors and they never disappoint. The big Southend week is next week, looking forward to that, lots of different characters going on location.

I can't remember the last time I've laughed so much at Eastenders, they shouldn't get rid of Zoe Lucker, they should just have her freak out every week about something trivial for comical effect.

Callum

I have to admit her acting was especially bad tonight, I cringed a lot and the final few scenes were laughable. I couldn't understand half of what she was saying either.

Vanessa's breakdown was hilarious:laugh:. I felt really sorry for her. Carol is vile, out of order to Vanessa but she's always been miserable, judging others and hypocritical.

Max and Tanya are hideous too, sick and tired of the pair of them together:sleep:. I really like the character of Abi, she's coming into her own now. I actually prefer her to Lauren. Rainie and Cora are fab too!

I'm enjoying Michael. Shirley and Heather made me smile.

On a serious note Zoe Lucker is a good actress and it's a shame for the past year they've wasted her character and Vanessa is coming into her own before she departs.

I hope the producers realise what a mistake they have made by axing her and bring her back, new fresh characters are needed to carry the show amongst the familiar faces...

Marsh.
15-08-2011, 09:33 PM
I don't think Zoe Lucker's a bad actress. I think she showed in the scene in the flat that she can be a good actress when she's not going OTT but she did it so well on Footballer's Wives you have to appreciate it when she does flip out. lol

The shot of her stabbing that photo frame with whatever it was and her hair flying everywhere was like something out of a horror film.

Kerry
15-08-2011, 09:35 PM
When she went for Jack you could see he was actually really stunned and not acting. She was wild

Footballer's Wives was such a camp show. OTT it was in every sense so that style suited her character.

Vanessa was great showing just how gutting it is to be made a fool of and treated like dirt.

Tanya is supposed to have Cancer and she has my sympathy with that but she's a horrid character.

For years, from when he was on The Bill I've had to suffer the comments from my mother every time he's onscreen. She's besotted with him.

And they can't be calling Vanessa crazy, Tanya's reaction was to bury Max alive.

EastEnders' Vanessa Gold will face fresh heartache later this month when her estranged husband Harry puts her in another awkward situation.

Harry - played by Linal Haft - hasn't been on screen since late 2010, but we see him again briefly at the end of August as Vanessa swallows her pride and makes contact with him.

After losing Max's financial support when he dumped her, Vanessa (Zöe Lucker) gets in touch with Harry because she needs his help to raise funds for Jodie's wedding, according to a report in All About Soap.

Harry later sits down for a meal with Vanessa, Jodie and Darren - but it's not long before he shows his true colours once again, declaring that he'll only pay for the wedding if Vanessa doesn't turn up for the ceremony…

It's clear that Harry still wants to punish Vanessa for leaving him, but will she agree to respect his wishes? Will Jodie and Darren have to scale back their wedding plans? Or could Vanessa become further embroiled in Michael Moon's schemes to make the money she needs?

EastEnders airs Harry's ultimatum on Tuesday, August 30 at 7.30pm on BBC One.

I'm glad Vanessa is getting more screentime but it's a pity they're giving her lots to do just as she's about to leave.
